Understanding (the essence of Goedel’s Theorem) is not, in my view, some esoteric philosophical undertaking since it speaks to why WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENCE is a CRAZY-MAKER.  Goedel’s theorem implications crop up in Nietzsche’s philosophical explorations as ’the DOUBLE ERROR’ where we say things like ‘FIRE BURNS’ to construct the concept of LOCAL, an abstraction that we then allow to ‘over-ride’ in our language and grammar constructions of reality, the sensory-experience reality of NONLOCALITY; i.e. the sensory experience of our inclusion in the transforming relational continuum.

While the DOUBLE ERROR reduction of the NONLOCAL to the LOCAL is a useful tool that ‘effable-izes’ the ‘ineffable’ (the all-including Wave-field aka the Tao), it cannot be overlooked that such effeble-izing comes at the expense of a a BASIC REDUCTION IN ESSENTIAL MEANING.  Instead of reality being the ineffable-because-NONLOCAL flow we share inclusion in, … effable-izing reduction delivers representations in terms of LOCAL NAMING-instantiated things-in-themselves, with GRAMMAR-given notional powers of sourcing actions and developments.   That is, instead of the NONLOCAL TRANSFORMATION of our sensory experience, the DOUBLE ERROR language and grammar reduction delivers abstract REPRESENTATION in terms of NAMING instantiated ‘things-in-themselves’ with GRAMAMR instantiated powers of SOURCING actions and developments.

This DOUBLE ERROR reduction is a useful TOOL that, as Emerson point out, has ‘run away with the workman’ (the WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT ‘workman’).  This is where EGO comes in, in the sense that the DOUBLE ERROR imputes to NAMING-instantiated ‘(notional) things-in-themselves’, powers of sourcing actions and LOCALLY SOUCING actions and developments.

It is ONE THING to use the DOUBLE ERROR as an effable tool of inference of the ineffable, but quite another forget about the fact that language is only good for INFERENCE of the ineffable, and instead treating the language based representations of reality AS IF THEY ARE THE REALITY RATHER THAN JUST INFERENCES OF AN INEFFABLE REALITY THAT IS BEYOND  EXPLICIT CAPTURE BY LANGUAGE AND GRAMMAR.

Here is where WEST splits off from EAST since EAST does not forget that the DOUBLE ERROR reduction is only capable of INFERRING reality, … a sensory experience reality that is INEFFABLE because it is TRANSFORMATION that we are included in; i.e. our sensory experience is of INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM AKA ‘THE WAVE-FIELD’ AKA ‘THE TAO’.


WAIT A MINUTE, … the DOUBLE ERROR-reduced-for-effable-izing purposes pseudo-reality, wherein we say things (construct representations) like ‘the hurricane is growing larger and stronger and is moving towards the coast’ …. is only ‘good for’ INFERENCE of the ineffable (TRANSFORMATION), but we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are using it AS IF IT WERE THE ACTUAL REALITY.   THAT IS A CRAZY-MAKER which blinds us to (takes the place of) the reality of our inclusion in TRANSFORMATION.  Language and grammar as used by us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS plants representations in our mind like Cuckoo’s eggs that hatch out and hijack the reality of our sensory experience.  That is, REPRESENTATIONS like ‘the DUNE is growing higher and longer and is shifting towards the coast’ certainly effable-izes (puts into LOCAL, EXPLICIT REPRESENTATION) the INEFFABLE-BECAUSE-NONLOCAL TRANSFORMATION as associates with Wave-field resonance, which is what DUNING is all about.

For MODERN PHYSICS and the EAST (indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta), THE INEFFABLE REMAINS THE PRIMARY REALITY and the DOUBLE ERROR reduction is constrained to its role as a TOOL OF INFERENCE of the INEFFABLE.

For WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, as Emerson and Nietzsche note, THE TOOL of DOUBLE ERROR REDUCTION has “RUN AWAY WITH THE WORKMAN, THE HUMAN WITH THE DIVINE”.   In other words, the tool of INFERENCE has, a surrogate poor-man’s substitute for the ineffable, has, like the Cuckoo’s egg, hatched out and taken over as the OPERATIVE REALITY, rather than simply playing a support role as an INFERRER of the ineffable the lies innately beyond its reach.   The ineffable, being a continual flux, lies innately beyond explicit effable representation, … or in other words, that which comes to us as in the DOUBLE ERROR as an explicit local representation is NOT REAL, but is merely an INFERENCE of an ineffable REALITY.    We can only use relational inference or MATAPHOR to INFER the INEFFABLE reality; i.e. “A man’s reach must exceed his grasp or ‘what’s a meta-phor’? — McLuhan.  Reality as TRANSFORMATION we are included in, is ineffable and metaphor is a tool of inference that stimulates our intuition of what cannot be given representation in LOCAL, EXPLICIT terms.

While EASTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS and MODERN PHYSICS, observes the need to use DOUBLE ERROR based representation (LOCAL things with powers of SOURCING actions and developments) … ONLY AS A TOOL OF INFERENCE of the INEFFABLE that lies innately beyond the EXPLICIT, LOCAL representational capability of language and grammar, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have fallen into the CRAZY-MAKING HABIT of employing the INFERENCE as our OPERATIVE REALITY, so that when WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are using the DOUBLE ERROR to speak of the DUNE or the HUMAN as GROWING LARGER and shifting from there to there (as if they were liberated from inclusion within the TRANSFORMATION), we are accepting that as our OPERATIVE REALITY rather than as INFERENCE of an ineffable reality that lies innately beyond reach of such EFFABLE REDUCTIONS.

That’s why our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT social dynamic IS A CRAZY-MAKER.

TRANSFORMATION is the reality but we speak in producer-product terms of ‘constructing a city’ …. the realty is transformation of the space we are included in.   everything is in flux.

TRANSFORMATION is ineffable.  It is the all-including Wave-field aka the Tao.

REDUCTION to LOCAL is the effable-izing technique.

The PRODUCER-PRODUCT concept is like FIRE BURNS; i.e. it injects notional LOCAL SOURCING of actions and developments as in FIRE BURNS and LIGHTNING FLASHES, the DOUBLE ERROR of language and grammar pointed out by Nietzsche.

Goedel’s theorem points out the incompleteness of all finite systems of logical propositions.   What is implied here is that TRANSFORMATION is ineffable and trying to use language to construct representations of TRANSFORMATION is impossible; i.e. the Tao that can be told is not the true Tao.

“FIRE BURNS” points to action that is LOCAL in space and time which makes it ‘effable’ and confirmable by VOYEUR VISUALIZATION.  TRANSFORMATION as in the desiccating of forest in a long hot summer ‘heat-WAVE’ is NONLOCAL and thus INEFFABLE (it is NOT local in space and time).

Just because TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and thus INEFFABLE is no reason to cast it aside as our standard ‘reality’ and instead install a reduced-to-EFFABLE version of reality as our OPERATIVE REALITY because it is EFFABLE.   Such a strategy is like that of the drunk who searches under a street light for item he lost on a dark section of the road because ‘the search conditions are a lot better there’

In other words, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS prefer to use EFFABLE representations for our reality constructions, because they are based on that which is LOCAL and VISUALLY EXPLICIT and thus articulable while reality that is NONLOCAL and VISUALLY IMPLICIT and thus inarticulable, while the authentic ‘reality’ is passed over in silence.  For example, the resonance that manifests as duning is a NONLOCAL dynamic phenomenon (an aspect of TRANSFORMATION) which can’t be directly (fully and explicitly) captured in terms of LOCAL representations, but as in the SURPRISE VERSION OF THE GAME OF TWENTY QUESTIONS, we can set up a network of incomplete explicit propositions that, when brought into connective confluence in the mind, out intuitive intellection can develop an INFERENTIAL understanding of the INEFFABLE (the Wave-field, the Tao) that lies beyond reach of explicit language representations.

6.54 My propositions are elucidatory in this way: he who understands me finally recognizes them as senseless, when he has climbed out through them, on them, over them. (He must so to speak throw away the ladder, after he has climbed up on it.

He must surmount these propositions; then he sees the world rightly.

The propositions themselves are ‘not it’.

P.S. … DON’T FORGET TO MAKE THE LEAP FROM THE EXPLICIT TO THE IMPLICIT!  (I realize that that is not the common practice we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS teach ourselves, and that it is an indigenous aboriginal and Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta cultural understanding, making it something that seems ‘foreign’ to us, but our ‘modern physics’ is reaffirming its legitimacy, which, at the same time, points to the ILLEGITIMACY of our DOUBLE ERROR based reality constructions (taken literally rather than as tools of inference).  Sure, the DOUBLE ERROR representations are great for INFERENCE of the IMPLICIT, NONLOCAL ineffable reality (TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM) that lies innately beyond the reach of such LOCAL, EXPLICIT representations, as used by EASTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, but these DOUBLE ERROR representations can’t bypass the intuitive leap of INFERENCE and be used as direct and explicit representations of reality without driving us crazy, which is where we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are presently.
