Imagine a planet whose surface is covered with LOCAL magma spurting volcanoes punctuated by LOCAL magma swallowing sinkholes.

As we contemplate this scattering and gathering dynamic, our impression of a LOCAL fluid-spraying and fluid draining SOURCE-RECEIVER combination may GIVE WAY to a sense of FIGURE and GROUND-as-ONE wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX and instead of ‘the PLANET’ being the LOCAL SOURCE of the OUT-SPRAYING and the IN-SWALLOWING, it is more appropriate to understand this in the entirely NONLOCAL FLUID terms of PLANETING in the FLOW-FIELD.

This NONLOCAL DYNAMIC wherein EVERYTHING is in flux is what our sensory experience is informing us is ‘reality’.  It is the NAMING capability of language whereby we can LABEL a PLANETING which is this pure flow-based OUT-SPRAYING and IN-SWALLOWING, ‘the PLANET’ and conflate this with GRAMMAR to impute the power of LOCAL AUTHORING to ‘the PLANET’, promoting the notion that “THE PLANET” is the LOCAL AUTHOR of both actions of OUT-SPRAYING and IN-SWALLOWING (picture a spherical form covered with little volcanoes spewing magma and also covered with little sink-holes swallowing up debris from the volcanoes.  While the form is spherical, there is nothing persisting there other than flow so that the phenomenon is PLANETING and there is NO LOCAL AUTHORSHIP.

The SPACE we live in (are included in) is a NONLOCAL TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX.   We may SEE a fluid PLANETING within this FLUX, but to impute to the PLANETING its own LOCAL BEING and its own LOCAL POWERS OF AUTHORSHIP is contrivance that we create with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, which allows us to REPRESENT the TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM by way of the FORMS-APPEARING-IN-THE-FLOW such as the PLANETINGS in the transforming energy field.

“Since according to our present conceptions the elementary particles of matter are also, in their essence, nothing else than condensations of the electromagnetic field, our present view of the universe presents two realities which are completely separated from each other conceptually, although connected causally, namely, gravitational ether and electromagnetic field, or as they might also be called space and matter. Nietzsche has this same understanding, supported by the physics of Roger Boscovich who modern physics philosophers describe as having been 200 years ahead of its time.   The understanding that FIELD is an energy flow that is PRIMARY such that material objects are ‘APPEARANCES’ or ‘schaumkommen’ as also pointed out by Schroedinger, … NOT ONLY means that FORMS are RELATIONAL FLOW-FEATURES, it means that FORMS cannot be the LOCAL SOURCE of actions and developments.  It makes no sense to say that ‘the HURRICANE is STIRRING UP THE ATMOSPHERE’ and it likewise makes not sense to say ‘the ATMOSPHERE is STIRRING UP THE HURRICANE’, … because such representations invoke the notion of LOCAL SOURCING where there is NO SUCH THING.   The CHANGES in the world that we observe are in association with NONLOCAL RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION wherein everything is in flux.  While language allows us to stimulate intellectual impressions of LOCAL AUTHORS with powers of LOCAL SOURCING, this is by way of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as Nietzsche points out;

Our WESTERN CULTURE language usage has us speaking in terms of there being AUTHORS of change which makes LOCAL SOURCING possible in both a MALE ASSERTING and FEMALE SUBDUCTING version.

By contrast, and IN ORDER TO REDUCE the PLANETING PHENOMENON to a LOCAL PHENOMENON, we speak in the LOCAL SOURCING terms of ‘THE PLANET’ is sourcing volcanic extrusions and ‘The PLANET’ is sourcing subduction zone intrusions.


While there is PLANETING which is an entirely fluid CONIUNCTIO OPPOSITORUM wherein INFLUX and OUTFLUX-are-ONE, … THERE IS NO “PLANET” that is the purported AUTHOR of ITS OWN DEVELOPMENT as our DOUBLE ERROR based language usage ‘would have it’.  That is; Our judgement has us conclude that every change must have an author”;–but this conclusion is already mythology: … see full Nietzsche quote above).


IT IS AN ERROR OF GRAMMAR, therefore, to speak in terms where we impute LOCAL BEING to the PLANET and conflate this FIRST ERROR of NAMING with a second ERROR of GRAMMAR to impute the power of SOURCING (authoring) change to the NAMING instantiated LOCAL BEING called ‘the PLANET’..

It may be CONVENIENT to design LANGUAGE so as to be able to construct REPRESENTATIONS of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY featuring LOCAL AUTHORS of CHANGE, but it is NOT to be confused with REALITY which is INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT as is the nature of Wave-field TRANSFORMATION aka ‘the Tao’.

WESTERN LANGUAGE employed the DOUBLE ERROR abstractions which  laid the groundwork for Newtonian physics.  In other words, Newtonian physics IS NOT A CAPTURE OF REALITY but a FORMALIZED SYSTEM DERIVED FROM LANGUAGE.  As Benjamin Whorf expresses this;

 It is sometimes stated that Newtonian space, time, and matter are sensed by everyone intuitively, whereupon relativity is cited as showing how mathematical analysis can prove intuition wrong. This, besides being unfair to intuition, is an attempt to answer offhand question (1) put at the outset of this paper, to answer which this research was undertaken. Presentation of the findings now nears its end, and I think the answer is clear. The offhand answer, laying the blame upon intuition for our slowness in discovering mysteries of the Cosmos, such as relativity, is the wrong one. Our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT conceptualizing of “REALITY” is DISTORTED by thinking in terms of SPACE, TIME and MATTER as if they are REAL in which case Our judgement has us conclude that every change must have an author”; (Nietzsche)–

Such abstract THINKING puts us in conflict with understanding the world as a transforming relational continuum wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX.  In our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENCY, such ERRONEOUS belief is anchored in place by EGO since EGO IS THIS BASIC BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORSHIP OF CHANGE, the foundational principle of Newtonian physics as supported by Newton’s ‘Laws of Motion’.

Once one builds a understanding of reality based on notional LOCAL OBJECTS and HOW THEY MOVE, (which in turn demands the imagining of an absolute containing space for such LOCAL MOVEMENTs to transpire within), this is, in effect, the construction of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY that, in our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT social dynamic, has DISPLACED THE REAL REALITY of NONLOCAL relational TRANSFORMATION wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX.

It is important (valuable) to reflect on Whorf’s above statement to comprehend what is going on here, which has shaped our WESTERN CULTURE mode of understanding ‘reality’.

What is being said is that the LANGUAGE we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS was engineered so as to SIMPLIFY language based expression of the inherently INEFFABLE reality of inclusion in TRANSFORMATION, serves up a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that we have become ACCUSTOMED TO USING AS OUR OPERATIVE REALITY.

For example, in the SUBSTITUTE REALITY, GROWTH is accepted as something REAL so that we may invest in the GROWTH of farming operations where we cultivate increasingly large expanses of land.  My words, which are standard in WESTERN CULTURE language based representations SAY NOTHING ABOUT THE REAL REALITY of TRANSFORMATION which is being IGNORED because we have SUBSTITUTED the LINEAR, ONE-SIDED concept of GROWTH that “DROPS OUT” the CONJUGATE REDUCTION OF THE WILDERNESS.

Language allows us to speak as if GROWTH were real and to substitute it for TRANSFORMATION, but the REALITY IS THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “GROWTH”, THERE IS ONLY TRANSFORMATION.  “GROWTH” IS THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR; e.g. ‘The Town is growing larger and more populous and productive’ .

Statements employing GROWTH take us (psychologically) inside of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY where there is no mention not no taking into account of the conjugate SHRINKAGE of the Wilderness which is an inherent part of REALITY.  GROWTH IS NOT REALITY but part of our conceptualizing of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which is EFFABLE-because-LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  TRANSFORMATION, which is the reality affirmed by our sensory experience of inclusion therein, is INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT (relational).

The reality of our sensory experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum is very different from the intellectually perceived SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the EFFABLE-because-LOCAL-and-EXPLICIT.

The problem is not in our engineering of an EFFABLE SUBSTITUTE REALITY as a TOOL for sharing the INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT reality of our sensory experience, … the problem is, as EMERSON observes;  LETTING THE TOOL RUN AWAY WITH THE WORKMAN, the HUMAN with the DIVINE.

Life is relational flow and as in the CIRCUS BUMPER CAR GAME, the concept of LOCAL AUTHORSHIP of action is not just elusive, it is IMPOSSIBLE.  Meanwhile, the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as used in constructing a SUBSTITUTE REALITY, “IS NOT ONLY POSSIBLE BUT COMMON PRACTICE IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMIC”.

No matter if life is like a BUMPER CAR GAME at the circus, it is always possible to REPORT on what is going in in the DOUBLE ERROR terms of CAR 17 smashed into CAR 51.  This is like saying Robin Hood stole grain from the King’s Granary without mentioning how the King’s men stole from the farmers.  Reality is our experience of inclusion in a transforming relational continuum which is INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT (in continual flux).  The DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR is ONE WAY of coming up with an EFFABLE SUBSTITUTE REALITY.


In this SUBSTITUTE REALITY, we IMAGINE that CAR 17 is the “AUTHOR” of an EVENT.  But this concept of a LOCAL AUTHOR does not fly in the reality of our sensory experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum aka the Wave-field aka the Tao.

Our WESTERN CULTURE linguistic representations of reality introduce the abstraction of THE LOCAL AUTHOR which effects a ‘breaking in’ to the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM so as to render the INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT, in SUBSTITUTE REALITY TERMS of the EFFABLE-because-LOCAL-and-EXPLICIT.

The EGO does not like to LET GO of this SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein we claim to be LOCAL AUTHORS of actions and developments (thanks to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR).

This leads to ABERRANT (mis-)understandings including one-sided MALE-ASSERTING SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTIONS, featuring ‘local authoring’ such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING larger and more populous and productive’, … and ‘the HURRICANE is GROWING larger and stronger and more destructive’, .. WHICH SUBTLY INJECTS INTO THE PSYCHE THE ABSTRACT CONCEPT OF AN ABSOLUTE CONTAINING SPACE for the MALE ASSERTIVE ‘HURRICANE’ to STRUT ITS STUFF IN.

DOES the HURRICANE stir up the ATMOSPHERE or does the ATMOSPHERE stir up the HURRICANE?

Which is the author of which?

The point is that there is no such thing, within the transforming relational continuum, as a LOCAL AUTHOR and as the example of HURRICANE and ATMOSPHERE illustrates, the language-based imputing of a MALE ASSERTIVE AUTHOR conjures up, to ‘HAUNT THE PSYCHE’, the impression of the DEA ABSCONDITA such as the SHRINKING WILDERNESS that is CONJUGATE to the GROWTH of CULTIVATED/INDUSTRIALIZED LAND as notionally derives from MALE ASSERTIVE LOCAL AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

The concept of AUTHOR is convenient, as where we impute such power to a TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, ‘making it over’ into a ‘TOWN’ that is imputed to be a LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF with ‘its own’ (‘grammar-give’) powers of LOCALLY AUTHORING actions and developments.  Our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT mistake it to confuse such SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTION for REALITY, the real reality of our sensory experience of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM which is INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT… which is the NATURE of the Wave-field.
