Indigenous Aboriginal QUANTUM LOGIC and Western Culture BINARY LOGIC

FORWARD: This FORWARD is a bit of a mea culpa which is to point out that I have often fallen into the habitual trap of speaking in terms of REPRESENTATIONS of REALITY which turns out to be a CLEAR MISTAKE because language does not support the construction of REPRESENTATIONS of REALITY (the reality of our sense-experience in the transforming relational continuum is much too complex; e.g. as Lao Tzu says; ‘The Tao that can be told is not the true Tao’.)

What LANGUAGE provides is not the capability of constructing REPRESENTATIONS but the capability of SENDING SIGNALS and it is up to the RECEIVER to put Humpty Dumpty together again which, depending on the receiver’s history of sensory experiences and visual imagination, may come up with something that will call for the ritual of giving one another the ‘HIGH FIVE’ indicating that ‘we have arrived on the same page’.  However, there is no screen projection showing the respective visualizations side-by side, and if there were, it might show, when two American citizens who bump into one another in darkest Africa and HIGH FIVE each other, whereupon they may shortly thereafter discover that one of them is a right wing Republican and the other a left wing Democrat.   There point is, agreement can be shallower or deeper and we don’t always dig down deep enough to check out the fullness of our agreement.

Thus the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL and the WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT may communicate in the SIMPLE Common Average European language architecture which is BINARY LOGIC based since the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL, having been ‘colonized’, had learned to speak English, even though learned as a ‘first language’, an INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL language that is QUANTUM LOGIC based and which is less simple than WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGES which are BINARY LOGIC based.  For example, while the indigenous aboriginal would speak in terms that meant “There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’, he would nevertheless understand what the WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT meant by ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING things’, even though this is a SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION of the afore-mentioned ANDROGYNOUS ‘TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING’ proposition.  So it is easy for those indigenous aboriginals who grew up learning the LESS SIMPLE form of LOGIC (the QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING medium) to deal with the “DUMBED DOWN” to BINARY LOGIC (the EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED medium) LANGUAGE discourse.

GOING in the opposite direction from the SIMPLE to the LESS SIMPLE, when one has not ‘grown up with’ the LESS SIMPLE, is not so easy; i.e. the WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT who has learned a LANGUAGE that encourages THINKING in ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING BINARY LOGIC terms such as “the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods’ will have more difficulty in shifting from this SIMPLE view to the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC (ANDROGYNOUS) terms of “There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” which includes the CONTENT and CONTAINER in conjugate relation.

In mathematical terms, this LANGUAGE shift, in the DUMBING DOWN direction, corresponds to shifting from the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC STRUCTURE  to the SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC STRUCTURE, which is EXACTLY what is happening when we shift from ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ (ANDROGYNOUS FEMALE ACCOMMODATING RECEPTION in conjugate relation with MALE ASSERTIVE EFFECTING) … to ‘The TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products’, (ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTIVE AUTHORING).

This shift from indigenous aboriginal language architecture which is QUANTUM LOGIC based to WESTERN CULTURE language architecture which is BINARY LOGIC based is the equivalent of the mathematical shift from COMPLEX to REAL signal.

What is the difference between real and complex signal?

A real signal at any given time takes its value in the set of real numbers, and a complex signal takes its value in the set of complex numbers.  

AN IMPORTANT POINT HERE is that LANGUAGE is not a system that employs REPRESENTATIONS, it is a system that employs SIGNALS that trigger the coming-to-mind of some sense-experience based situation that is in general unique to the individual.  The words SEXUAL INTERCOURSE signal recall of a certain sense-experience.  Those same words trigger very different sense-experience recall in the FEMALE than they do in the MALE.

SO, the PROBLEM is NOT that ‘THE WORD IS NOT THE THING’.  The PROBLEM IS THAT LANGUAGE DOES NOT, as assumed in WESTERN CULTURE, TRANSMIT REPRESENTATIONS; LANGUAGE TRANSMITS SIGNALS that induce sense-experience recall.

Woven together with the KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID penchant for BINARY LOGIC based SIMPLIFICATION is the following COMMON WESTERN CULTURE CONFUSION deriving from the BELIEF IN “THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES”;

Polish-American scientist and philosopher Alfred Korzybski remarked that “the map is not the territory” and that “the word is not the thing”, encapsulating his view that an abstraction derived from something, or a reaction to it, is not the thing itself.  –Wikipedia

THERE ARE NO “THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES”.  WE LIVE IN AN ALL INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM AKA THE WAVE-FIELD.

So, while Korzybski is saying that SOMETHING IS AMISS in our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, … HE IS MISSING THE KEY POINT which is that THERE ARE NO THINGS, but there are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM also known as the WAVE-FIELD.

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS generally ACCEPT this comment of KORZYBSKI because it is evident that SOMETHING IS AMISS in our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, but his statement doesn’t DIG DEEP ENOUGH. Korzybski’s proposition GIVES BACK-HANDED SUPPORT TO THE BELIEF THAT THERE ARE “THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES” and simply PUTS DISTANCE between the LINGUISTIC DESCRIPTION OF THE THING and THE THING, … reaffirming that THERE ARE THINGS and its just that its not straightforward to use WORDS to IDENTIFY the THING.

THE ‘REAL ISSUE’ is that “THERE ARE NO THINGS” since we share inclusion in an all-including fluid dynamical world aka the WAVE-FIELD WORLD which is a TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

GOODBYE BINARY LOGIC! …  HELLO QUANTUM LOGIC!

It is the notional EXISTENCE OF THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES that forces us to INVENT an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE which is necessary for there to be THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES because THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES are INDEPENDENT of the world in which they share inclusion.

Of course, MODERN PHYSICS has fallen in line with INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL, TAOIST/BUDDHIST and ADVAITA VEDANTA understanding wherein the WORLD IS AN ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (the WAVE-FIELD) locally populated by CONDENSATIONS where these CONDENSATIONS, like clouds in the atmosphere, are BOTH themselves AND the all-including energy-charged PLENUM.   This is the QUANTUM LOGIC “BOTH/AND” relation which is the understanding of the basic make-up of the world of Modern physics, Indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS “ARE NOT PICKING UP ON THIS UNDERSTANDING” BECAUSE OUR LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE IS BINARY LOGIC BASED AND BINARY LOGIC IS INNATELY SIMPLER THAN THE QUANTUM “BOTH/AND” LOGIC WHICH captures the relationship between the ALL-INCLUDING PLENUM and the VISIBLE, TANGIBLE CONDENSATIONS OF THE PLENUM, a BOTH/AND LOGIC that is called “QUANTUM LOGIC”.

That the world is characterized by this QUANTUM LOGIC BOTH/AND STRUCTURE wherein he material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including energy-charged PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD is NOT ONLY THE FINDING of MODERN PHYSICS but it is the UNDERSTANDING of Indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.

NOTA BENE:  While our understanding of the world can come directly from our sense-experience of inclusion in the world, we also have understanding which comes through LANGUAGE which is NOT AS AUTHENTIC as sense-experience based understanding, so there is a GAP between LANGUAGE based INFORMING of reality and SENSE-EXPERIENCE INFORMING of reality, as pointed to in the joke that suggests we should all know the difference between giving our children SEX EDUCATION and SEX INSTRUCTION.

THERE IS A GAP between the INFORMING CAPABILITY of LANGUAGE which is INTELLECTUAL REASONING BASED, and the INFORMING CAPABILITY OF SENSE-EXPERIENCE which is INTUITION based.

FURTHERMORE, THERE IS MORE THAN ONE SYSTEM OF LANGUAGE; i.e. more than one LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE and in particular, there is one approach (language architecture) based on DIFFERENTIATION and another approach (language architecture) based on INTEGRATION and while BOTH FALL SHORT OF CAPTURING THE EQUIVALENT OF SENSE-EXPERIENCE, the DIFFERENTIATION APPROACH has a MORE SERIOUS SHORTFALL yet it is the approach that has been embraced by WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS while INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, TAOISTS/BUDDHISTS and ADVAITA VEDANTA ADHERENTS have embraced the INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE.  The difference can be described as follows;

INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE:  This language architecture employs the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which is INTEGRATING in the sense that everyTHING is related  since THINGS are understood as CONDENSATIONS in the all-including energy-charged PLENUM aka the WAVE-FIELD, so there are no worries about FRAGMENTATION as in the DIFFERENTIATION based language architecture.  This BOTH/AND INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is LESS SIMPLE than EITHER/OR DIFFERENTIATION in that it involves the CONJUGATE relation of the FEMALE-ACCOMMODATING PLENUM and the MALE ASSERTING CONDENSATION which are NOT TWO SEPARATE THINGS but only THE APPEARANCE of TWO THINGS, an APPEARANCE that does not OVERCOME the physical condition of the overall INTEGRATED UNITY of the energy-charged PLENUM.

DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE: This language architectures employs the EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (the excluding medium is understood as an empty space which is he all-including container) wherein there are TWO OPPOSITE POSSIBILITIES; i.e. EITHER “IS” (either there is something there) OR “IS NOT” (there is nothing there) which is implies that WHAT IS THERE can be DIFFERENTIATED from WHAT IS NOT THERE (the separation between provided by the EMPTINESS of the EMPTY SPACE).  In this DIFFIERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, the CONDENSATIONS are DIFFERENTIATED OUT of the PLENUM and RE-PRESENTED AS IF THEY WERE INDEPENDENT LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES within an ABSOLUTE, INFINITE EMPTINESS aka‘SPACE’.

WESTERN CULTURE has opted for DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE while INDIGENOUS BORIGINAL CULTURES, TAOISM/BUDDHISM and ADVAITA VEDANTA have opted for INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURES.

LANGUAGE is a system of SIGNALLING and while BOTH the INTEGRATION and DIFFERENTIATION based SIGNALLING systems are viable, their manner of INFORMING differs in that the INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE IS NON-FRAGMENTATIVE.

To give examples;

INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE of the indigenous aboriginal culture will form statements (informative SIGNALS) equivalent to ‘There is TOWNING (or HUMANING) IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ which employs the QUANTUM LOGIC BOTH/AND architecture where the TOWNING (or HUMANING) is INCLUDED IN the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE as is supported by Modern physics and the understanding of the world in terms of an all-including energy-charged PLENUM aka the WAVE-FIELD.

DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE of the WESTERN CULTURE will form statements (informative SIGNALS) such as ‘The TOWN (or the HUMAN) is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods’, which employs the BINARY LOGIC EITHER/OR  architecture where ‘the TOWN’ (or the HUMAN) is IMAGINED to be INDEPENDENT of the COUNTRYSIDE it is SITUATED WITHIN so that it is understood that ‘The TOWN’  (or ‘the HUMAN’) is a ‘THING-IN-ITSELF with its own LOCAL POWERS OF AUTHORING GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods’.

One might say that whatever we are (since our understanding of our relationship with the ‘otherness’ comes in these different choices’ we have the capability of LANGUAGE BASED CONCEPTUALIZING of ourselves and our relations with the otherness, THAT COMES IN THESE TWO DIFFERENT FORMS of INTEGRATION (chosen by INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS) and DIFFERENTIATION (chosen by WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS).

BOTH of these LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE SCHEMES ‘WORK’ in the sense that those that LEARN THE LANGUAGE open the way to being able to SHARE, through a system of SIGNALS, some rough semblance of a sense-experience (visual experience or feeling based sensual experience), BUT THERE ARE, OF COURSE, SHORTFALLS BETWEEN THE LANGUAGE BASED SIGNALLY SCHEMES, that DIFFER, and a point of note here is that the DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE which is pervasive in WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES, insofar as it is given preference over sense-experience informing, is the source of FRAGMENTATION.   That is, the use of DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE leads to unresolved FRAGMENTATION insofar as we are employing this language based  intellectual conceptualizing in precedence over our real-time sense experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum.  The LANGUAGE based FRAGMENTATION coming from the DIFFERENTIATION option in language architecture is NOT REAL in a sense-experience affirmable context, but when it is, nevertheless, employed as THE OPERATIVE REALITY  as happens in WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMICS, it becomes the source of FRAGMENTATION, as Bohm points out;

1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc

If we return to examine the properties of the two different language architectures, INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE of the indigenous aboriginal culture  vis a vis DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE of the WESTERN CULTURE,  we can see that the INTEGRATION based language comes with QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC, which is LESS SIMPLE than DIFFERENTIATION based BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC.    For example, INEGRATION based language is FULL WAVE-FIELD comprehending wherein we employ the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING ad MALE ASSERTING in conjugate relation as in ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’, as contrasts with DIFFERENTIATION based language (i.e. The TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING stuff) which DROPS OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJGUATE (this is where EMPTY SPACE comes into play as a substitute for the DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING conjugate).  THIS DROP OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE implies that ALL ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT is of a ONE-SIDED MALE-ASSERTING AUTHORSHIP.  That DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING conjugate that comes together with the SUBSTITUTING OF AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE is the source of the SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION from QUANTUM LOGIC which is ANDROGYNOUS BALANCE BASED to BINARY LOGIC which EITHER/OR FRAGMENTATION based.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have opted for the BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE which SIMPLIFIES our “SIGNALLING” system as compared to the QUANTUM LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE of indigenous aboriginals and MODERN PHYSICS, but as indicated above, the simplifying that comes from DROPPING OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE which is intrinsic in WAVE-FIELD dynamics, leads to (within the abstract language based constructions) FRAGMENTATION by way of the reduction to MALE ASSERTING ONLY “LOCAL AUTHORING” actions and developments, as formulated with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.   This LOCAL AUTHORING LANGUAGE based SUBSTITUTE REALITY does simplify language based communications but at the expense of generating SUBSTITUTE REALITY constructions that are FRAGMENTATIVE because of the DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING PLENUM which is, in our REAL LIFE SENSE-EXPERIENCE, the PRIMARY ESSENCE which reminds us that what we are seeing and thinking about as INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEING based entities are instead CONDENSATIONS of the all-including PLENUM .

SUMMARY:

There are TWO MAJOR OPTIONS for the basic structuring of LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE; i.e. INTEGRATION and DIFFERENTIATION and WESTERN CULTURE has opted for the DIFFERENTIATION based option which is leading to FRAGMENTATION in our based conceptualizing of reality which is PROBLEMATIC as pointed out by Bohm in his earlier reproduced comment on FRAGMENTATION.

Modern physics and indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta have all opted for INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE wherein THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING as there is in the WESTERN CULTURE opted DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE, where the abstraction of LOCAL AUTHORING is produced by the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, and this is the ROOT SOURCE of LINGUAGE based FRAGMENTATION which as posing us a significant problem, as Bohm has poited out;  “fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

SO ‘THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL’ so to speak, in that our having chosen and now LOCKED IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS to the FRAGMENTATION generating use of DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, where we say things like ‘the TOWN IS GROWING’ (a BINARY LOGIC construction consisting of a MATERIAL ENTITY existing independently of empty space) rather than, as in INTEGRATION mode, ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ (a QUANTUM LOGIC construction consisting of an all-including energy-charged PLENUM within which there are CONDENSATIONS which are APPEARANCE based features which APPEAR to be LOCAL and EXPLICIT and we soon make them so with our DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, but which are INCLUDED WITHIN THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD.

LANGUAGE BASED ABSTRACTING allows us to come up with these two CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES, the one based on INTEGRATION and the other on DIFFERENTIATION where ONLY THE FORMER (INTEGRATION) embodies consistency with our SENSE-EXPERIENCE while the popular WESTERN CULTURE choice of DIFFERENTIATION serves or SUBSTITUTE REALITIES which are FRAGMENTATION based and which feature notional LOCAL, EXPLICIT, INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEING based THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES which this DIFFERENTIATION based architecture MANIPULATES with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, a “DIFFERENTIATION-based MANIPULATION” that is NOT NECESSARY in the case of the INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE option wherein the forms are ALL RELATED by way of common INCLUSION within the ONE-ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD aka the Tao.

IN SHORT, the DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is FRAGMENTATIVE due to its DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE while the INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is INTEGRATIVE due to its retention of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE.

As the THIN SKULL RULE exposes how WESTERN CULTURE USE OF DIFFERENTIATION LIMITS THE CONCEPTUALIZING CAPABILITY by DROPPING OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE which is a natural aspect of our sense experience of inclusion in the WAVE-FIELD.  That is, ALL MATERIAL FORMS are “SCHAUMKOMMEN” (APPEARANCE) since the primary dynamic is the continually transforming energy-charged PLENUM in which material forms are only APPEARANCES and this includes the HUMANINGS which are, like all material APPEARANCES, CONDENSATIONS of the transforming relational continuum (WAVE-FIELD) which do NOT have ‘their own local authoring powers’ of moving, developing and authoring actions as WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE has been designed to give them.

The APPEARANCE based notion of ‘BEINGS’ with LOCAL POWERS OF AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT that we LINGUISTICALLY ASSOCIATE with CONDENSATIONS in the UNUM, the all-including transforming relational continuum aka WAVE-FIELD is SCHAUMKOMMEN in the same sense as CLOUDS which are CONDENSATION of the vapour-loaded atmosphere that, while they appear to HAVE THEIR OWN LOCAL SELF-AUTHORED DEVELOPMENT AND MOVEMENT, are in fact belonging to the overall transforming relational continuum, thus requiring a LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE based on INTEGRATION, NOT DIFFERENTIATION, which allows INTEGRATING expression such as ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING landscape’ and avoids the FRAGMENTATION of DIFFERENTIATION as in expressions such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products’, a pseudo-world consisting solely of one-sided MALE ASSERTING ACTIONS, thus implying inclusion in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.

AFTER WORD:  While neither of the two choices of LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE (DIFFERENTIATION and INTEGRATION) are substitutes for sense-experience reality, both of them allow EXTENSION of our INTELLECTUAL CONCEPTUALIZING of a form of SUBSTITUTE REALITY which is always on ‘shaky ground’ as in the experience of the Orson Welles radio dramatization of War of the Worlds where LANGUAGE based representation is shown to be a convincing substitute as far as intellectual conceptualizing goes, for sense-experience.   And while both methods of SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTION have their shortfalls, the shortfalls of DIFFERANTIATION based LINGUISTIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONCEPTUALIZING include FRAGMENTATION which is not a problem with INTEGRATION based LINGUISTIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONCEPTUALIZING.

This is evidently due to the fact that INTEGRATION based LINGUISTIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONCEPTUALIZING gives less simple QUANTUM LOGIC a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE while DIFFERENTIATION based LINGUISTIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONCEPTUALIZATION gives simple BINARY LOGIC a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE.

e.g.

“There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE  (INTEGRATION based) versus

“The TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING” (DIFFERENTIATION based).

The latter language architecture is clearly FRAGMENTATIVE which is what Bohm is talking about is the source of SOCIAL FRAGMENTATION.  Note that in the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE, what appears to be the same sort of FRAGMENTATION is NOT FRAGMENTATION (in the same intellectual conceptual sense) but is IMBALANCE which associates with QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM where things do not SPLIT APART because everything is included in the energy-charged plenum (wave-field) but what does arise in a PLENUM is IMBALANCE where both the MALE ASSERTING conjugate (the TOWNING) and the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING conjugate (the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE) are inclusions in the all-including wave-field (the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE) and are NOT split apart into TWO SEPARATE FRAGMENTS as in BINARY LOGIC, the latter case being a recipe for FRAGMENTATION of both the mind and the material realm, insofar as our language stimulated intellection is given priority over or sense-experience, as it commonly is in WESTERN CULTURE.

ADDENDUM: RE the REDUCTION of QUANTUM LOGIC to BINARY LOGIC

Modern physics supports the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL understanding of JUSTICE which is QUANTUM LOGIC based and thus RESTORATIVE.  This comes from the QUANTUM LOGIC structure of indigenous aboriginal LANGUAGE which DOES NOT impose SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC JUDGEMENT on physical developments. but insead employs LANGUAGE with a less simple QUANTUM LOGIC capability consistent with Modern physics.

In the Modern physics view of phenomenon (which coincides with the indigenous view of phenomena), we and all things share inclusion, as condensations of energy, within an all-including energy-charged PLENUM also known as the WAVE-FIELD, and as such, EVERYTHING IS RELATED as declared in the indigenous aboriginal aphorism ‘mitakuye oyasin’.

This delivers a very different WORLD VIEW (a QUANTUM LOGIC world view) from the WESTERN CULTURE world view (a BINARY LOGIC worldview) and these DIFFERENCES are BUILT INTO the respective LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURES so that, because we are fully open and innocent at the age and stage of development when learning LANGUAGE, it is as if our parents and society put the fire-hose down our throat and pump the particular CULTURE’S language architecture DIRECTLY INTO A REPOSITORY OF BOOTSTRAP RESPONSES which we SPONTANEUSLY tap into without questioning the ADEQUACY of the LANGUAGE system relative to the challenge of putting together words designed to share our EXPERIENCES and associated THOUGHTS.

The fact DIFFERENT LANGUAGES have DIFFERENT EXPRESSIVE CAPABILITIES is not something that the child is going to consider as he undergoes a ‘learning producer wherein the BOOTSTRAPPING has much in common with the manner that GEESE are FED in order to produce FOIE GRAS where the ratcheting funnel carries the input directly into the interior bypassing all of the sense-tests that might otherwise have done some questioning and discriminating of the mateirals being ‘taken in’.   That is why it is natural for indigenous aboriginal children and WESTERN CULTURE ADHERING children to take for granted LANGUAGE SYSTEMS that come to them with this FOIE GRAS infusion approach without having ‘any say in the matter’, and thus for the indigenous aboriginals to be brought up with a QUANTUM LOGIC based LANGUAGE and the WESTERN CULTURE children to be brought up with a simpler BINARY LOGIC based LANGUAGE.

The systems of JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE are very different in the two cultures, which we could label ‘the QUANTUM  LOGIC culture and the BINARY LOGIC CULTURE due to the uniform LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE employing habits within in the respective social collectives, originating from the ‘FOIE GRAS style instruction.  Anyone who is familiar with WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE will attest to how FIRMLY (unequivocally) that BINARY LOGIC has been RATCHETED into the thinking of WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS.  For example, QUANTUM LOGIC understanding employs a BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM wherein the actions of an individual are understood in a relative sense so that where there is an outbreak of VIOLENCE, there is NO ASSUMPTION of LOCAL AUTHORING (a BINARY LOGIC based dynamic where the choice is “EITHER” he did it “OR” he did not do it, where there is no place for understanding wherein ‘he’ is the lightning rod or ‘conduit’ for RELATIONAL DISSONANCE that brews within a social collective).

In WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE, the abstract notion of the LOCAL AUTHOR prevails in place of the INDIGENOUS CULTURE JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE, where the understanding it that THERE ARE NO LOCAL AUTHORS, because we live within a transforming relational matrix  where the ‘individual’, as a strand in the ‘web-of-life’, is a conduit or lightning rod for release of relational tensions that develop within the social collective so that there is no support for the BINARY LOGIC  “PERPETRATOR– VICTIM” (the negative binary couplet)  or ‘BESTOWER—BENEFICIARY (the positive binary couplet).   WHAT THERE IS, in indigenous aboriginal culture QUANTUM LOGIC language architecture, is the relational DYNAMICS of the social collective which manifest as BALANCE and IMBALANCE.  Situations of IMBALANCE such as where the pregnant woman gets pushed off the balcony in the crowded football stadium by ‘crowd surge’ involves NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT authoring sources which is the general assumption built into QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND logic of the INCLUDING medium which is a LESS SIMPLE understanding of dynamics in general, than the BINARY LOGIC EITHER/OR logic of the EXCLUDED medium where the medium is assumed to be an ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT rather than a QUANTUM LOGIC all-including energy-charged PLENUM in which CONDENSATIONS are continually gathering and scattering in the manner of WHORLINGS in FLOWING where the WHORLING is BOTH ITSELF and the FLOWING it develops within, supporting the understanding of ‘mitakuye oyasin’ (everything is related).

For us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, having been primed from infancy by the FOIE GRAS method of LANGUAGE LEARNING, BINARY LOGIC, should we say, ‘comes naturally’ or should we instead say ‘commonly’ since there is nothing NATURAL about the FOIE GRAS INFUSION that BYPASSES discriminatory filters, as the language “LEARNING” approach meted out on us WESTERN CULTURE ADHRENTS.

While INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CHILDREN are being equipped with QUANTUM LOGIC comprehension capabilities, which have the COMPLEX CONJUGATE structure with a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING and MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATES as in ‘there is TOWNING (male asserting) in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (female accommodating)’ ,… WESTERN CULTURE CHILDREN are being equipped with the ‘simpler’ BINARY LOGIC comprehension capabilities which retain a one-sided REAL (male-asserting) component ONLY structure that DROPS OUT the IMAGINARY female accommodating) component.

NOTA BENE:  the mathematical terms of ‘REAL’ and “IMAGINARY’ which, in physics, work together to comprise COMPLEX ‘signal’, are mirrored in LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, by the ‘MALE ASSERTING’ and ‘FEMALE ACCOMMODATING’ conjugates.   Just as it is possible to simplify the less simple COMPLEX SIGNAL by DROPPING OUT the IMAGINARY component and going with just the REAL component, so it is also possible in LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE to simplify the less simple ANDROGYNOUS female-accommodating — male asserting conjugate structure by substituting ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT for the female accommodating conjugate in which case we ‘dumb down’ our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE  to, for example, saying ‘The TOWN  (or the HUMAN) is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING things”; i.e. this is the LOCAL AUTHOR ABSTRACTION based on the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as Nietzsche has pointed out.

While the simplified or ‘dumbed down’ BINARY LOGIC based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE succeeds in communicating the MALE ASSERTING aspect of dynamics, it DROPS OUT all expressing of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING conjugate which is what takes language from having a simple MALE ASSERTING or ‘REAL SIGNAL COMPONENT’ ONLY basis to including the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING or ‘IMAGINARY SIGNAL COMPONENT’ so as to comprise a full blown ANDROGYNOUS or ‘COMPLEX SIGNAL’ informing capability as is needed for less simple QUANTUM LOGIC linguistics.

Note that the QUANTUM LOGIC language capability aka the COMPLEX SIGNAL capability is not constrained to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT (the TOWN is GROWING) but incorporates as well, the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT within which the LOCAL and EXPLICIT ‘slots in’ hence the terms ANDROGYNOUS for the complex signal; i.e. There is TOWNING (male asserting, or ‘real’) in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (female accommodating, or ‘imaginary’).  It is the FEMALE ACCOMODATING conjugate that overcomes the FRAGMENTATION that associates with one-sided MALE-ASSERTING (REAL)-ONLY LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURES as used by WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, a ‘tradition’ coming by way of the FOIE GRAS INFUSION while in their non-discriminating infancy condition.

MODERN PHYSICS and QUANTUM LOGIC support the understanding that ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ where the relationship is the BOTH/AND logic of the INCLUDING medium so that the TOWNING is understood in the sense of a MALE ASSERTING AGENCY in the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE so that FIGURE and GROUND are only ONE as in the COMPLEX SIGNAL structure

Even if indigenous aboriginal children, like WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT children receive the FOIE GRAS ‘ratcheted in’ LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE INFUSION, which is doubtful, the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE CORRESPONDS TO THE FULL-BLOWN QUANTUM LOGIC STRUCTURE WHICH IS ANDROGYNOUS AND COMPRISED OF FEMALE ACCOMMODATING  SIGNAL IN CONJUGATE RELATION WITH MALE ASSERTING SIGNAL AS IN “There is TOWNING (male asserting) in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (female accommodating)”.,        

The choice of simplistic BINARY LOGIC instead of the less simple QUANTUM LOGIC radically changes the understanding employed in systems of JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE since QUANTUM LOGIC DOES NOT SUPPORT THE ABSTRACTION OF ‘LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS”, since this DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based structure DEPENDS UPON BINARY LOGIC; i.e. the EITHER “IS THE AUTHOR” OR “IS NOT THE AUTHOR” logic gate is made possible by abstractly creating the LANGUAGE-based notion of a LOCAL, EXPLICIT INDEPENDENT BEING notionally with ITS OWN GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS of AUTHORING actions and development (this IS the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR pointed out by Nietzsche).

QUANTUM LOGIC and WESTERN CULTURE’S BINARY LOGIC based JUSTICE

BINARY LOGIC as the basis of the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR is the foundation of the LOCAL AUTHOR ABSTRACTION and all of this is set up and ready to go, thanks to the FOIE GRAS STYLE BINARY LOGIC BASED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE INFUSION.

WHILE INDIGENOUS CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES, with their QUANTUM LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, capture the individual NOT AS A LOCAL AUTHOR OF HIS OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, but as a participant in a dynamic WEB-OF-LIFE dynamic where the active agent is understood as the lightning rod or conduit for the transmission of relational tensions building within the social collective.  THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH MODERN PHYSICS understanding which is in terms of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY CHARGED PLENUM (aka WAVE-FIELD) which is the source of CONDENSATIONS which are NOT SEPARATE from the PLENUM as in BINARY LOGIC based mutual exclusion, but are INCLUDED in the PLENUM in the manner of WHORLINGS in the FLOWING of the atmosphere, a reality which BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE will SIMPLIFY by NAMING the WHORLING IN THE FLOWING, for example ‘the HURRICANE’ and using GRAMMAR to RE-ANIMATE the WHORLING IN THE FLOWING, this time as a notional INDEPENDENTLY EXISTING MATERIAL THING-IN-ITSELF (‘the HURRICANE’), representing it as if it were INDEPENDENT of the PLENUM in which it is a CONDENSATION so that, as far as WESTERN BINARY LOGIC based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is informing us, the QUANTUM LOGIC NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT “HURRICANING IN THE FLOWING” is now REDUCED to the simpler ‘LOCAL, EXPLICIT’ “HURRICANE THING-IN-ITSELF” with “GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT”.

This SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION BASED BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, while conveniently lightening the load by DROPPING OUT LANGUAGE CAPTURE OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE is plagued by its over-simplistic FRAGMENTED CONSTRUCTIONS of BINARY LOGIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein the all-including FEMALE ACCOMMODATING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM has ‘GONE MISSING’ leaving only the bare-bones presence of ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING ACTION AGENTS with GRAMMAR given POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development as if within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE OPERATING SPACE.

This FRAGMENTATION that is coming from our SIMPLIFIED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE which DROPS OUT THE FEMALE CONJUGATE which we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have installed in our systems of JUSTICE, MEDICINE and COMMERCE is literally DRIVING US NUTS!

1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc

WE ARE LOCKED IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS since the belief in LOCAL AUTHORING is widespread, having been built into our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE which we continue to pass on to our children using the FOIE GRAS RATCHET-INFUSION TECHNIQUE.

The specter of WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE convictions of HARVEY WEINSTEIN and others are mistaken in implying LOCAL AUTHORING and can be seen more sensibly as the case of CONDUITS or LIGHTNING RODS which are miscast as LOCAL JUMPSTART AUTHORS, a  WESTERN CULTURE NAMING and GRAMMAR based DOUBLE ERROR which has become part of the WESTERN CULTURE simplified MINDSET.  Because this BINARY LOGIC LINGUISTIC simplification is commonly the FIRST CHOICE in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE CONSTRUCTIONS, the less simple QUANTUM LOGIC language architecture, which is the common assumption in Indigenous aboriginal culture, rarely sees the light of day in the linguistic constructs of WESTERN CULTURE social collectives.

What is required in a JUSTICE SYSTEM based on QUANTUM LOGIC is a social collective that takes responsibility for the cultivating of relational tensions which give rise to the lightning rods or conduits through which those relational tensions find expression.  THAT is, the CONDUITS or LIGHTNING RODS are NOT THE LOCAL EXPLICIT AUTHORS of ‘GOOD’ or ‘BAD’ works but are the CHANNELS through which the tensions that build in relational matrices find expression.   This “CONDUIT” role is evident where one speaks of things with a language architecture that is capable of conveying COMPLEX SIGNALS but which has been exposed to ‘dumbing down’ by way of the reduction FROM the ANDROGYNOUS ‘coniunctio oppositorum’ of FEMALE ACCOMMODATING —MALE ASSERTING ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT to one-sided MALE-ASSERTING AGENCY ONLY.

The primary HOLD-UP in have us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS “ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGE” that we have DROPPED OUT the FEMALE ACCOMODATING CONJUGATE and are going with the simpler BINARY LOGIC based ONE SIDED MALE-ASSERTING-ONLY LOCAL AUTHOR EXPEDIENT, is the associated LOSS OF THE EGO BOOST that comes when we DECLARE OURSELVES “INDEPENDENT” and to be notionally equipped with OUR OWN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING that comes with the DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS would rather attribute the SMASHED SKULL “FULLY AND SOLELY” to the MALE ASSERTING PUNCH (simple BINARY LOGIC) than having to acknowledge the LESS SIMPLE LINGUISTIC CONSTRUCTION with the accommodating collapse of the EGG-SHELL thin SKULL.  If we ADMIT to the primacy of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING of the eggshell thin SKULL over the MALE ASSERTING action of the PUNCH, we open the door to acknowledgement of the less simple QUANTUM LOGIC (ANDROGYNOUS) structure of reality where the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING EGGSHELL’S “GIVING WAY’ and the MALE ASSERTING PUNCHING ACTION are CONJUGATE ASPECTS of the ONE DYNAMIC of TRANSFORMATION.

The use, in LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, of the abstraction of DIFFERENTIATION succeeds in manufacturing a ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING action and development as if IN ITS OWN RIGHT; i.e. as if it were transpiring by way of local explicit material particles in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE (instead of in conjugate relation with a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM).  George Berkeley critiqued this abstract idea of Newton’s ‘DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS’ as follows;

There is no such thing in physical sense-experience reality as LOCAL, EXPLICIT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES such as are implied by taking DIFFERENCES between relational forms in the flow.  The DIFFERENTIATION that splits the HURRICANING out of the ATMOSPHERING so that we can use the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to make it over into a LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF with its own POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT, relocating it into a simplified SUBSTITUTE REALITY governed by BINARY LOGIC; i.e. an EMPTY SPACE which EITHER is occupied by LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL ENTITIES OR IS NOT OCCUPIED BY LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL ENTITIES, a BINARY LOGIC construction radically unlike the QUANTUM LOGIC BOTH/AND presence of a CONDENSATION within the all-pervading energy-charged PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD.

All of the above points to how the REDUCTION of QUANTUM LOGIC (INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE) as supports COMPLEX SIGNALS, … TO, … BINARY LOGIC (WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE) as supports REAL SIGNALS simplifies our impressions of realty in such a manner as to SUBSTITUTE A FRAGMENTED SUBSTITUTE REALITY for our sense-experience affirmed unfragmented reality of our inclusion in the all-including transforming relational continuum.

FRAGMENTATION comes with the DIFFERENTIATING POWER OF THE BINARY LOGIC based DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR construction of LOCAL AUTHORING as in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE.

RELATIONAL CONTINUITY comes with the INTEGRATIONAL POWER OF QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC that associates with the CONDENSATION in the all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka the WAVE-FIELD where ‘everything is related’ (mitakuye oyasin).
