We all know, at some level, that when we say that ‘the Hurricane is moving through the atmosphere’, we are screwing up with this DIFFERENTIATION based representation that SPLITS APART the FIGURE and the GROUND (the Hurricane and the Atmosphere) because as with WHORLING in the FLOWING, we have a QUANTUM LOGIC “BOTH/AND” relation here wherein the WHORLING AND THE FLOWING are ONE and NOT TWO; i.e. the WHORLING is “NOT” MOVING THROUGH the FLOWING, the WHORLING IS INCLUDED IN THE FLOWING so that we need an INTEGRATION capable LANGUAGE and not a DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUAGE.  Note that WESTERN CULTURE language that gives a foundational role to DIFFERENTIATION as in ‘the WHORL is moving through the FLOW’, or ‘the HURRICANE is moving through the ATMOSPHERE’ implies the BINARY LOGIC EITHER/OR DIFFERENTIATION which is problematic.  What it does is put into our minds the possibility of LOCAL AUTHORING of EXPLICIT EVENTS which is SIMPLER than, and thus OBSCURES the less simple REALITY of NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT TRANSFORMATION.

DIFFERENTIATION operates on QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATION based reality to reduce it to BINARY LOGIC abstraction.  It is where the WHORLING in the FLOWING (where these are in a BOTH/AND QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATED RELATION) is reduced to ‘the WHORL’ that is an independent feature that is MOVING THROUGH the flow as an ITEM OF CONTENT moves through a mutually exclusive CONTAINER (where CONTENT and CONTAINER are in an EITHER/OR BINARY LOGIC relation).

The WESTERN CULTURE habitual use and reliance on DIFFERENTIATION for REPRESENTATIONS of (pseudo-) “reality” (as in ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products’) is a CRAZY-MAKER.  The alternative for SANE reality construction, as in Modern physics and Indigenous aboriginal culture is, INTEGRATION-based as in ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’.   The WESTERN CULTURE promoting of BINARY LOGIC DIFFERENTIATION in place of QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATION is a continuing source of FRAGMENTATION in WESTERN CULTURE psyches and social relations.

The BIG LIE of WESTERN CULTURE, is suggested within the views of Bohm and Nietzsche, to have become the property of our Common Average European Language Architecture in avoiding the LESS SIMPLE use of an all-connecting INTEGRATION and instead using DIFFERENTIATION (into LOCAL and EXPLICIT forms), reducing our sensory experience of INTEGRATED INCLUSION as in ‘PEOPLING and TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ to INTELLECTUAL VOYEUR-VIEWER REPRESENTATIONS such as ‘the PERSON and TOWN are GROWING.

While Indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents use linguistic representation based on the LESS SIMPLE concept of INTEGRATION, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS use linguistic representation based on DIFFERENTIATION.  In the WAVE-FIELD reality of our sense-experience, language based on INTEGRATION has the capability to represent the CONJUGATES of the FEMALE-ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD ‘descending valley’ and the MALE-ASSERTING WAVE-FIELD ‘rising hill’, as a FIGURE and GROUND UNITY.

Whatever scheme we come up with for language-based articulation of our sense-experience reality, it will be unable to fully capture our sense-experience reality since we ourselves and all material forms are INCLUDED as CONDENSATIONS of the all including transforming relational continuum aka ‘the WAVE-FIELD’.

The expression coined by Rudyard Kipling; “EAST is EAST and WEST is WEST and never the twain shall meet’ points to the fact that in terms of LANGUAGE based REPRESENTATION schemes, two obvious but very different options arise as choices for the basic foundations of our representation of sense-experience reality and ‘EAST’ refers to Indigenous aboriginals and Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta who have opted for the LESS SIMPLE “QUANTUM LOGIC” foundation wherein FIGURE and GROUND are only ONE; i.e. where reality is the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD wherein material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the WAVE-FIELD in which case our approach is one of INTEGRATION wherein our linguistic constructions make use of the combination of BOTH female accommodating AND male-asserting (conjugate) allusions as in the phrase “there is TOWNING (male asserting content) in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (female accommodating container).  THIS IS THE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE APPROACH of the ‘EAST’ (as in the QUANTUM LOGIC language architectures of the indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta)   QUANTUM LOGIC refers to the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, where the understanding is that there is an all-including energy-charged PLENUM locally populated by material CONDENSATIONS which belong to the all-including PLENUM and which are NOT SEPARATE, as in the alternative WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC based DIFFERENTIATING representation.

Note that the ‘language-based representation’ of the transforming relational continuum IS NOT THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, and note also that there is MORE TO THIS than is inferred in Korzybski’s ‘The Word is NOT THE THING’ because Korzybski’s phrasing GIVES A BACKHANDED AFFIRMATION of the ‘existence of the THING’, when the message that needs to be brought forth is that THERE ARE NO THINGS, … that THINGS are APPEARANCES (Schaumkommen) associated with CONDENSATIONS of the WAVE-FIELD (the dynamic reality that lies beyond the condensations of the wave-field and is constituted by the wave-field).

NOTA BENE:   THE WEST, or in other words THOSE PEOPLE WHO IMPUTE MATERIAL THING-IN-ITSELF BEING TO CONDENSATIONS OF THE WAVE-FIELD AND THUS, IN THE SAME FELL STROKE, IMPUTE THE NOTIONAL EXISTENCE OF AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT IN WHICH THOSE MATERIAL THING-IN-ITSELF BEINGS MOVE ABOUT AND INTERACT, CONTRIVE A DIFFERENTIATION BASED SCHEME FOR CONSTRUCTING REPRESENTATIONS OF REALITY. 

MEANWHILE, THE ‘EAST’ (THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE AND TAOISTS/BUDDHISTS AND ADVAITA VEDANTA ADHERENTS) EMPLOY AN “INTEGRATION” (QUANTUM LOGIC) BASED SCHEME RATHER THAN A “DIFFERENTIATION” (BINARY LOGIC) BASED SCHEME FOR CONSTRUCTING REPRESENTATIONS OF REALITY. 

INSTEAD OF THE WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION IN TERMS OF “THE TOWN IS GROWING” (DIFFERENTIATION which is BINARY LOGIC based), the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL (EASTERN CULTURE) LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION IS IN TERMS OF “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANFORMING LANDSCAPE” wherein “EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX” as in the QUANTUM LOGIC WAVE-FIELD dynamic. 

DIFFERENTIATION is the common WESTERN CULTURE means for representing the world of our sense-experience reality, and here we say ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING things’.  In other words, DIFFERENTIATION ‘works’ by using the combination of NAMING and GRAMMAR to construct a portrait of reality in terms of local material things and their actions and interactions, AS IF WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY and INFINITE VOID.   This WESTERN CULTURE Linguistic Representation scheme is thus BINARY LOGIC (DIFFERENTIATION) based which is SIMPLER than the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL and EASTERN linguistic representation scheme which is QUANTUM LOGIC (INTEGRATION) based.

WHAT, THEN, IS “LOST” IN THE “SIMPLER” BINARY LOGIC DIFFERENTIATION BASED LANGUAGE REPRESENTATION SCHEME RELATIVE TO THE “LESS SIMPLE” QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATION BASED LANGUAGE REPRESENTATION SCHEME?

When we use DIFFERENTIATION, we BREAK OUT as an INDEPENDENT FRAGMENT, a LOCAL EXPLICIT PIECE of the REALITY CONTINUUM.  But this is an OXYMORON which is akin to saying that CAPTURED A HURRICANE and have locked it up in a large container wherein it is thrashing around but cannot escape. The point is that what we treating as LOCAL and EXPLICIT is in reality NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.   So DIFFERENTIATION, when it is applied within our SENSE-EXPERIENCE WORLD of the ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM can’t possibly be referring to anything REAL in a sense-experience affirmable context, so that instead of DIFFERENTIATION being a process that DETECTS the presence of SEPARATE BEING based things such as TWO CONTEMPORARY HURRICANES IN THE ATMOSPHERE, “WE ARE WRONG”.  In other words, LANGUAGE WHICH DIFFERENTIATES IS WRONG in the same sense as NOT BEING ABLE TO capture a HURRICANE in a large BOTTLE and keep it in the laboratory to study ITS BEHAVIOUR.

This act of DIFFERENTIATION gives rise to notional LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with GRAMMAR given POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF actions and developments, as when we DIFFERENTIATE the TRANSFORMING ATMOSPHERE where there is WHORLING in the FLOWING and using DIFFERENTIATION we come up with “A WHORL” which we embellish with GRAMMAR to impute to it ‘it’, ‘its’ own powers of LOCALLY AUTHORING WHORLING in the FLOWING which PROMOTES the MALE ASSERTING and not only DEMOTES the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING but THROWS IT OUT while substituting an ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT, giving us ‘the TOWN that is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods) as if ‘in ITS OWN’ DIFFERENTIATED LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF-with-GRAMMAR-given-POWERS-OF-LOCAL-AUTHORING ‘RIGHT‘.

WE RECOGNIZE THIS ‘DIFFERENTIATION’ as the ‘DOUBLE ERROR’ of NAMING and GRAMMAR pointed out by Nietzsche’

“Our judgement has us conclude that every change must have an author”;–but this conclusion is already mythology: it separates that which effects from the effecting. If I say “lightning flashes,” I have posited the flash once as an activity and a second time as a subject, and thus added to the event a being that is not one with the event but is rather fixed, “is” and does not “become.”–To regard an event as an “effecting,” and this as being, that is the double error, or interpretation, of which we are guilty.” – Nietzsche, ‘Will to Power’, 531

DIFFERENTIATION is an intellectual-linguistic operation that FRAGMENTS our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY which is the experience of our INTEGRATION within the transforming relational continuum,  DIFFERENTIATION is based on the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR where we use language to FRAGMENT OUT a ‘piece of reality’ as where there is a WHORLING in the FLOWING (note the QUANTUM LOGIC BOTH/AND relation) which we SIMPLIFY in our language-based representation by DIFFERENTIATION, using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to speak in terms of ‘the WHORL’ in the ‘FLOW’ which implies that the WHORL is the AUTHOR of “its own WHORLING”.

THUS, DIFFERENTIATION IS THE SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION and it is BUILT INTO our language based representations of our sense experience reality using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to INVENT LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development.

This DIFFERENTIATION based FRAGMENTATION is used in the CONSTRUCTION of our WESTERN CULTURE based SUBSTITUTE REALITY with its BINARY LOGIC ‘material bodies moving and interacting in empty space REPRESENTATIONS.  Because of our common use of this SIMPLIFIED BINARY LOGIC based linguistic REPRESENTATION, this DIFFERENTIATION based, SIMPLIFIED SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein we DIFFERENTIATE OUT “the WHORLING IN THE FLOWING”, give the DIFFERENTIATED UNIT its own NAME (‘the WHORL’) and conflate that FIRST ERROR with GRAMMAR to impute LOCAL AUTHORING POWER to the DIFFERENTIATED UNIT such as starts out life as the QUANTUM LOGIC WHORLING-IN-THE-FLOWING which then become, with DIFFERENTIATION, ‘the WHORL-IN-ITSELF’ that we conflate with GRAMMAR so that it be understood as the LOCAL AUTHOR of actions and developments which is BINARY LOGIC based ABSTRACTION.

NOTE THAT DIFFERENTIATION invokes this DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that implies LOCAL AUTHORING which serves as our means for FRAGMENTING, for LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION SIMPLIFYING PURPOSES, selectable FRAGMENTS of the transforming relational continuum which can be RE-ASSIGNED MEANING in terms of such LOCAL, EXPLICIT FRAGMENTS as if they existed in their own right, as in the BINARY LOGIC abstraction based ‘DIFFERENTIATION’ scheme.

EXAMPLE OF INTEGRATION “QUANTUM LOGIC”: …   “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”

While we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have opted for a BINARY LOGIC (DIFFERENTIATION) based language architecture, Indigenous aboriginals and Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents have opted for QUANTUM LOGIC (INTEGRATION) based language architecture

RECALL that BINARY LOGIC is a SIMPLER REPRESENTATION that simplifies by DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE and uses only the ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT CONJUGATE in conjunction with ABSTRACT ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE. This BINARY LOGIC based DIFFERENTIATION is given the FOUNDATIONAL ROLE in our WESTERN CULTURE language architecture and the result is FRAGMENTATION by way of the DROP OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE which in WAVE-FIELD reality is the WAVE-FIELD PLENUM which is the INTEGRATING medium within which MATERIAL FORMS are CONDENSATIONS and thus Schaumkommen (appearances).

DIFFERENTIATION, which is MISTAKENLY given a PRIMARY ROLE in WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION serves up a PSEUDO reality based on MATERIAL FORMS which are APPEARANCE. The ‘moving and shaping influences’ of our sense-experience reality ARE NOT THE LOCAL and EXPLICIT MATERIAL FORMS that associate with DIFFERENTIATION but the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT TRANSFORMATION that associates with INTEGRATION as with the BOTH/AND QUANTUM LOGIC of the including medium where, for example, THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.

In order to develop an understanding of how language architecture MAY or MAY NOT contribute to our understanding of sense-experience reality, we can take no of the fact that while BINARY LOGIC steers us in the wrong direction; i.e. the direction of DIFFERENTIATION and FRAGMENTATION, … QUANTUM LOGIC steers us in the right direction; i.e. the direction of INTEGRATION and TRANSFORMATION.

This we can review as follows;

 

-1- DIFFERENTIATION is the BINARY LOGIC based INTELLECTUAL JUDGEMENT of the EXCLUDED VOYEUR OBSERVER.

 

-2- INTEGRATION is the QUANTUM LOGIC INTUITIVE IMPRESSION of the INCLUDED SENSORY EXPERIENT.

 

-3- WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS put DIFFERENTIATION (the VOYEUR VIEW) into an UNNATURAL PRIMACY so that  FIGURE and GROUND “APPEAR” as TWO (as in BINARY either/or LOGIC).  E.G. DIFFERENTIATION separates FIGURE from GROUND so that TOWNS  AND HUMANS ARE PORTRAYED AS DEVELOPING INDEPENDENTLY AS IF IN THEIR OWN RIGHT where CHANGE is by way of CHANGES in the LOCAL and EXPLICIT material entities.

 

-4- INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, TAOISTS/BUDDHISTS and ADVAITA VEDANTA ADHERENTS put INTEGRATION into a NATURAL PRIMACY wherein FIGURE and GROUND ARE ONE (as in QUANTUM both/and LOGIC).  E.G. INTEGRATION conjoins FIGURE and GROUND as in ‘THERE IS TOWNING AND HUMANING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ where CHANGE is NONLOCAL and IMPLICITY and by way of the TRANSFORMING PLENUM where TOWNING and HUMANING is in the QUANTUM LOGIC relation.

The moment we use DIFFERENTIATION to define a LOCAL and EXPLICIT “LINGUISTIC TEALITY” such as ‘the TOWN’ is GROWING” (rather than using INTEGRATION to define a NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT “INGUISTIC REALITY” such as ‘there is TOWNING’ in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE), we CREATE a BINARY LOGIC SPLIT between ‘WHAT IS’ and ‘WHAT IS NOT’ which invokes conditions -1- and -3- in the above list which includes putting ourselves into the VOYEUR OBSERVER mode.  DIFFERENTIATION of ‘WHAT IS OUT THERE’ implies that SUBJECT and OBJECT are TWO (as defines the VOYEUR VIEW).

But when we use INTEGRATION to define a NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT “LINGUISTIC REALITY” such as; “there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”, we CREATE a QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATION of “BOTH” TOWNING “AND” TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE as defines the INCLUSIONAL EXPERIENCE.

We know, from our sense-experience what it is like to be included in a TOWNING development within a TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE but we do NOT know from our sense-experience what it is like to be within a TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE which includes “A TOWN that is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” because A TOWN undergoing GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods is NOT a REAL-LIFE event, but an INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION based on one-sided MALE-ASSERTING actions and development which CAN LIVE ONLY IN THE ABSTRACT BINARY LOGIC BASED SUBSTITUTE REALITY OF THE VOYEUR VIEWER.

The VOYEUR VIEW IS BASED ON THE ABSTRACTION OF THE SUBJECT-OBJECT SPLIT.

As Schroedinger ‘reminds us’, in our sense-experience reality, SUBJECT and OBJECT are ONLY ONE since all relational forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD.

Unlike BINARY LOGIC, QUANTUM LOGIC is the logic that describes FIGURE-AND-GROUND “INCLUSION” (INTEGRATION) wherein SUBJECT and OBJECT are ONLY ONE, where the OBSERVING FIGURE and the OBSERVED GROUND are ONLY ONE.

This is the same understanding as in Modern physics, Indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta wherein “everything is related” (mitakuye oyasin) since material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including WAVE-FIELD.

DIFFERENTIATION, while it is employed in a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is the SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION which as Bohm points out, cultivates SCHIZOPHRENIA and PARANOIA as we use DIFFERENTIATION (as with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR) to NOTIONALLY SEPARATE OUT portions of the transforming relational continuum and set them up as LOCAL AUTHORS of actions and developments).  This is a recipe for FRAGMENTATION.

DIFFERENTIATION brings with it, the VOYEUR VIEW.  In fact these are two different terms for the same operation, the fundamental aspect of which is the introduction of the BINARY LOGIC SPLITTING APART of SUBJECT and OBJECT.

DIFFERENTIATION establishes the VOYEUR that is the VIEWER of some ABSTRACT, LOCAL, EXPLICIT OBJECT such as ‘the TOWN’ that can be manipulated with GRAMMAR so that ‘THE TOWN’ is portrayed as FREE and INDEPENDENT and no longer encumbered by INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM so that ITS OWN MOVEMENT, GROWTH and PRODUCTION of things is possible within the DIFFERENTIATION based, VOYEUR view where we use DIFFERENTIATION to SPLIT OUT The TOWN” which is the NAME we give to “a TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ .

DIFFERENTIATION thus serves as a LINGUISTIC-PSYCHOLOGICAL technique to EXTRACT a MALE ASSERTING ACTION CONJUGATE from the ANDROGYNOUS FEMALE ACCOMMODATING—MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATE RELATION, in the manner of the VOYEUR who imposes DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR on purely relational phenomena such as WHORLING in the FLOWING, … or TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING (where the dynamic relations are QUANTUM LOGIC based in that the FIGURES are INCLUDED in the GROUND in the manner that WHORLINGS are including in the FLOWING and there is no such thing as a WHORLING-IN-ITSELF or a TOWNING-IN-ITSELF or a HUMANING-IN-ITSELF as if these were INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BODIES in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  Our sense-experience reality affirms that what we are talking about is QUANTUM LOGIC phenomena wherein there is WHORLING IN THE FLOWING and HUMANING in the TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM.

PROBLEM!   DIFFERENTIATION IS A COMMON SUBJECTIVE, VOYEUR BASED REPRESENTATION scheme that sets up a BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY.  If we can DIFFERENTIATE the TOWN from the COUNTRYSIDE aka the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, this is a VOYEUR operation that infuses a BINARY LOGIC SUBJECT/OBJECT SPLIT which conflicts with Modern physics and with indigenous aboriginal, Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta INTEGRATION based linguistic representations that are QUANTUM LOGIC based which means NON-VOYEUR FROZEN aka NON-DIFFERENTIATED aka NON-REDUCED to one-sided MALE ASSERTING actions and developments.

We need to BACK OFF language based representation in VOYEUR terms such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which are one-sidedly MALE ASSERTING and which DROP OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING such as the SHRINKING of the WILDERNESS that comes together with ‘the GROWING OF THE TOWN’.

While the VOYEUR VIEW that the TOWN is GROWING is the DIFFERENTIATION-based view, the voyeur is INCLUDED in a world dynamic where there is a conjugate (wave-field based) SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS so that if the VOYEUR reported on his sense-experience as well as his intellectually processed local and explicit visual representation, this could re-unite VISUAL DIFFERENTIATION and SENSE EXPERIENCE of INTEGRATION.
