DIFFERENTIATION  is one of TWO COMMON “PROCESSING TECHNIQUES” (the other is INTEGRATION) that we CAN USE in reducing our sense-experiencing to LANGUAGE based representation.

DIFFERENTIATION is the WESTERN CULTURE “PREFERRED”  reduction method for linguistic capture of our sense-experience.

INTEGRATION is the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL and Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta reduction method for linguistic capture of our sense-experience.

 

DIFFERENTIATION EXAMPLE:  The Human is growing.

INTEGRATION EXAMPLE: There is humaning in the TRANSFORMING landscape. 

 

THE BIG LIE in the TITLE of this essay refers to our use of the SIMPLE (either/or) concept of DIFFERENTIATION instead of the LESS SIMPLE (both/and) concept of INTEGRATION as the FOUNDATION of our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE and THOUGHT.

 

THE SIMPLIFICATION that lies in the concept of DIFFERENTIATION comes from the DUMBING DOWN of the concept of INTEGRATION to the SIMPLER concept of DIFFERENTIATION by way of the REMOVAL of the FEMALE-ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE so that we use our THUS-SIMPLIFIED LANGUAGE to conjure up a one-sided MALE ASSERTING ONLY SUBSTITUTE REALITY; e.g. The TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE is an ANDROGYNOUS CONCEPTUALIZATION that, by REMOVING the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE of the ‘TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ sets up ‘the TOWN’ as a notionally INDEPENDENT THING-IN-ITSELF to which we equip (notionally, with language) the GRAMMAR-given POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods and services. 

What was initially INTEGRATION by way of the ANDROGYNOUS FEMALE-ACCOMODATING — MALE ASSERTING ‘coniunctio-oppositorum’ within the transforming relational continuum becomes, by the BIG LIE , the LOCAL MALE -ASSERTING AUTHOR OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT that stands on its own in an intellectually contrived ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, which language has substituted for the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE.  Note the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as Nietzsche calls it that makes possible the SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION of the FEMALE -ACCOMMODATING — MALE ASSERTING WAVE-FIELD DYNAMIC to the one-sided MALE-ASSERTING-ONLY LOCAL AUTHOR based ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT.

 

What we do with language when we DIFFERENTIATE is that we use NAMING as the first part of an intellectual scheme to FRAGMENT the reality continuum of our sense experience so that we can extract a LOCAL, EXPLICIT picture of what is in reality an unfragmented, transforming continuum.

In our sense-experience reality, everything is in flux within the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD.  While this is our sense-experience ‘reality’, it is NOT capturable in language.  As Lao Tzu observes; ‘the Tao that can be told is not the true Tao’.

‘The Tao’ is a name for the ‘transforming relational continuum’ which is the unbounded, all-including space-time, which is impossible to capture in a finite language stream.

A CHOICE OF TWO POSSIBLE ‘WORK-AROUNDS for the INEFFABLE nature of sense-experience have presented themselves; i.e.

“DIFFERENTIATION” and “INTEGRATION”

Our sense-experience is of our inclusion in ‘the “PLENUM”, an all-including energy-charged CONTAINING MEDIUM, otherwise known as the WAVE-FIELD wherein there is a continuing emerging and subducting of relational forms as in a boiling liquid.

As ‘language architects’ whose goal is to design a system of word-based representations of this world of our sense-experience which is in continuing flux (i.e. it is a transforming relational continuum), we have DESCRIPTIVE TRACTION of TWO TYPES; i.e. there is the CONTAINING FLUID from which the FLOW-FORMS are continually emerging which is NONLOGAL and IMPLICIT because it is a flowing continuum wherein relational descriptions are all that is possible.  In this case, our language design would be constrained to language terms referring to relational movement, so that we would be limited to capturing in language continually changing relational patterns in the flux such as “TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”  where we preserve the reality wherein everything is in flux in which case FIGURE and GROUND are ONLY ONE  which is consistent with the understanding that reality is the transforming relational continuum wherein there are RELATIONAL FORMINGS  (condensations of the plenum) THAT ARE CONTINUALLY ‘GATHERING AND SCATTERING’, AS IN HERACLITUS.

 

There is the LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE option of INTEGRATION wherein we speak in such terms as “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”, which gives the impression of an ANDROGYNOUS CONTAINER-CONTENT DYNAMIC wherein “EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX” but which succeeds in conveying BOTH the asserting developing of an item of CONTENT in conjugate relation with the accommodating opening of the CONTAINER.

 

This INTEGRATION BASED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE OPTION  has been the choice of INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, TAOISTS/BUDDHISTS and ADVAITA VEDANTA ADHERENS.

THERE IS ALSO THE DIFFERENTIATION BASED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE OPTION  which entails the REDUCTION OF THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT  ontology of flowing forms, to the LOCAL AND EXPLICIT “BEING-BASED-EXISTENCE” OF MATERIAL OBJECTS WITH GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.

 

IT IS THIS DIFFERENTIATION BASED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE WITH ITS GRAMMAR-ANIMATED-BEING-BASED ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS THAT HAS BEEN ADOPTED AS OUR WESTERN CULTURE PREFERRED LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE.  INSTEAD OF THE FLUID (NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT) ‘THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’, WE NOW HAVE THE RIGID (LOCAL AND EXPLICIT) ‘THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING products).

Language can give us REPRESENTATIONS of REALITY in BOTH the INTEGRATION form and the DIFFERENTIATION form.

 

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have opted for the DIFFERENTIATION based language architecture while INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents opted for the INTEGRATION  based language architecture.

NOTA BENE: 

While the INTEGRATION based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE captures the ANDROGYNOUS WAVE-FIELD nature of reality, the DIFFERENTIATION based LANGUGE ARCHITECTURE ‘drops out’ the FEMALE ACCOMMODATIN CONJUGATE and reduces the ANDROGYNOUS STRUCTURE of WAVE-FIELD REALITY to a one-sided MALE-ASSERTING ONLY “SUBSTITUTE REALITY”.

That is what “IS GOING ON” in the shift from ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING landscape’ to ‘The TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products”.

There is a DUMBING DOWN here from the LESS SIMPLE ANDROGYNOUS FEMALE-ACCOMODATING—MALE-ASSERTING language architecture (There is TOWNING int he TRANSFORMING landscape) to the SIMPLE One-sided MALE-ASSERTING language architecture (‘The TOWN is growing, developing and producing products’).

THIS IS THE SAME SIMPLIFICATION THAT COPERNICUS INTRODUCED IN PROPOSING THAT ‘THE EARTH TURNS ROUND’.  which simplifies by its introducing of BINARY LOGIC that SPLITS APART the MATERIAL PLANET from the notional EMPTY SPACE, ignoring the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC relation wherein SPACE is NOT EMPTY but FULL (the energy-charged PLENUM) while the Earth is a CONDENSATION of the energy-charged PLENUM also known as the WAVE-FIELD.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are using our DUMBED DOWN (SIMPLIFED) LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE every day and assuming that the language architecture we are using is adequately expressing our thoughts, but there is a complacency here in that we are accepting the response from others that they ‘understand’ what we are saying, as the measure of our success in having captured in language the sense-experience that we were attempting to share.

BUT THE ISSUE HAS NOW BEEN RAISED AND WE CAN’T IGNORE IT, THAT WHAT WE ARE SHARING IS A DIFFERENTIATION BASED LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY, WHICH IS A SIMPLER REPRESENTATION THAN THE INTEGRATION BASED LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION BEING USED BY INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS AND RECOMMENDED BY THOSE INFORMED BY MODERN PHYSICS SUCH AS DAVID BOHM AND FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE (who was informed by the Modern Physics formulations of Roger Boscovich).

In PLAIN TERMS, the WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGES we are using have, for the purposes of SIMPLIFYING LANGUAGE, have DROPPED OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE and are using language based one-sidedly on MALE-ASSERTING actions and developments, hence ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods’ … A ONE-SIDED MALE-ASSERTING CONJUGATE WHICH IS MISSING THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE.  This is a SIMPLIFICATION based ERROR which does NOT INFECT indigenous aboriginal language nor Bohm’s Modern physics compliant ‘Rheomode’ flow-based language.  These languages RETAIN the full ANDROGYNOUS (WAVE-FIELD) STRUCTURE of FEMALE ACCOMMODATING in conjugate relation with MALE ASSERTING  as in ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING Landscape).

OBSERVATIONS:

On the IMPACT of the respective embrace of INTEGRATION or DIFFERENTIATION in LINGUISTIC REALITY REPRESENTATION.

Once a social collective has opted for a common language architecture (whether based on INTEGRATION or DIFFERENTION) and put it to use, it quickly develops LOCK-IN by HIGH SWITCHING COSTS because, for example, a BINARY LOGIC based language architecture as is employed by WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS leads to very different assessments of individual behaviours and social collective behaviours than is the case with the QUANTUM LOGIC based language architecture users such as INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS and Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents.  This is because these different language architectures POINT TO DIFFERENT VALUES ASSOCIATED WITH DIFFERENT CONCEPTUAL INTERPRETATIONS.

For example, WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC based language is SIMPLER than QUANTUM LOGIC in that BINARY LOGIC only supports TWO OPPOSING ALTERNATIVES; e.g. “EITHER” is “OR” is not.   Whereas, QUANTUM LOGIC is the logic of the INCLUDING MEDIUM whereby MATERIAL FORMS are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM. THis QUANTUM LOGIC relation where the material forms are condensations INCLUDED IN an all-pervading energy-charged PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD is LESS SIMPLE that the BINARY LOGIC combination of ABSOLUTE MATERIAL BEING basedobjects in an ABSOLUTE AND INFINITE EMPTY SPACE.  It is LESS SIMPLE due to what is termed the INCLUDED THIRD or ‘Tiers Inclu’ where BALANCE comes into play.

The point half-way between actualization and potentialization is a point of maximum antagonism or ‘contradiction’ from which, in the case of complex phenomena, a T-state (T for “tiers inclus”, included third term) emerges, which is capable of resolving the contradiction (or ‘counter-action‘), at another, higher level of reality. “  – Lupasco, Stéphane., Le principe d’antagonisme et la logique de l’énergie, 1951.

Where we think of things in BINARY LOGIC based terms, it is like we are putting black paint on a flat white surface of infinite extent so that we acknowledge the GROWTH of the black painted area which is a one-sided MALE ASSERTING concept, but if we are doing the painting on a spherical surface, there is now a CONJUGATE SHRINKING of the white area in relation to the GROWTH of the BLACK area.  There is a new ‘reality’ that comes into play here; i.e. we are no longer limited, as we were on the infinite flat plane to measuring the area covered by each one of the two, but there is now an INTER-RELATION which is new, constituted by the CHANGING BALANCE.  This THIRD CONSIDERATION is coming from the antagonism as between the growth or shrinking of the one and the growth or shrinking of the other.  BALANCE and IMBALANCE are relational assessments that are inferred by there being a TIPPING POINT or ‘point of maximum antagonism’ which arises in progressively filling the space on the surface of a sphere.

We can see that this SPHERICAL SPACE way of understanding which is QUANTUM LOGIC based is LESS SIMPLE than the FLAT SPACE BINARY LOGIC way of thinking.  In the QUANTUM LOGIC way of thinking we have the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (including third) while in the BINARY LOGIC way of thinking we have the EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.

 IN LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, QUANTUM LOGIC supports INTEGRATION (where wave-field is the integrating containing fluid of material condensations) while BINARY LOGIC supports DIFFERENTIATION (where matter is fragments of being in non-being emptiness)
