WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE TRUMP ERA  (in the psyches of we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS) ?

 

It could just be that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are FINALLY coming to grips with the reality that TRUTH and REASON are both SCAMS.

 

TRUTH and REASON, as pointed out by Nietzsche, are absolutist concepts that we invent in order to REDUCE the Tao aka the Wave-field aka the transforming relational continuum so as to effable-ize it; i.e. so that we can use language to TALK ABOUT SOMETHING THAT INFERS THE TAO even though we can’t directly capture the Tao in language since it is a fluid continuum (wave-field).

 

As Nietzsche shows, in order to reduce the ineffable flow to something effable, we use a ‘double error’ approach.  The first error is NAMING to freeze a flow-form in the flow (e.g. a boil in flowing water) to psychologically impart THING-IN-ITSELF-BEING to the flow-form while the second error of GRAMMAR conflates the first by imputing the power of sourcing actions and development to the NAMING -instantiated thing-in-itself.

 

Ok, so while we cannot talk directly about the Tao since it is a transforming relational continuum, a flow-continuum, there are boils and swirls and hurricanes and vortices that, while such forms-in-flow are APPEARANCES in the flow aka Tao aka Wavefield, they do give us an ‘entrée’ for language based discussion of the Tao.

 

Of course, the Tao that can be told is not the true Tao since we are using APPEARANCES as the basis of making all these double errors to extract something effable from the ineffable..  E.g. the whorl that we call ‘hurricane Katrina’ is an appearance in the flow that we use NAMING and GRAMMAR to impute thing-in-itselfness and powers of sourcing its own actions and developments to.  The nonlocal dynamic of the flow-continuum is thus reduced, in our language-stimulated intellect, to a LOCALLY SOURCED  dynamic, thanks to the double error of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

As useful as this reduction to effable from ineffable is, we have to be alert to the following problem; when we use language and grammar to SPLIT APART BOIL AND FLOW, and to IMPUTE THE POWER OF SOURCING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS to the NAMING instantiated thing-in-itself; i.e. to the BOIL, … we see from the symmetry that, having SPLIT APART the BOIL from the FLOW, we would just as well impute the powers of sourcing actions and developments to the now separate FLOW, so that our understanding would be that the FLOW is sourcing the BOIL.

 

THIS AMBIGUITY IS WHERE THE CONSERVATIVE – LIBERAL SPLIT IN UNDERSTANDING REALITY COMES FROM.

BUT DON’T FORGET, THE SPLIT IS NOT REAL (the boil and flow are how the flow-continuum APPEARS).  THE SPLIT IS AN ABSTRACT REDUCTION WE IMPOSE SO AS TO RENDER THE INEFFABLE EFFABLE.  Since all of the forming going on in Nature is part of the ONE transforming relational continuum (the Tao), it is ineffable.  Whether we refer to it as FIGURE AND GROUND or BOIL AND FLOW, this language based splitting of the ONE into TWO and imputing powers of sourcing actions and developments to EITHER ONE is DOUBLE ERROR based abstraction.

 

CONSERVATIVES OPT FOR THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE FIGURE/INHABITANT IS SOURCING GROUND/HABITAT-SHAPING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

 

LIBERALS OPT FOR THE UNDERSTANDING  THAT THE GROUND/HABITAT IS SOURCING FIGURE/INHABITANT-SHAPING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

 

THIS GIVES BACK THE ZEN KOAN OF WIND AND FLAG, WHICH SOURCES THE SHAPING OF WHICH?  EVIDENTILY IT CAN WORK EITHER WAY.

 

CAN YOU FIGURE OUT THIS CONUNDRUM?  THE EAST AND MODERN PHYSICS HAVE THE ANSWER; THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ‘SOURCING’, THERE IS ONLY TRANSFORMATION.

 

In spite of Modern physics having the answer to the conundrum, along with indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS continue to let the FIGURE and GROUND (i.e. which sources changes in which) AMBIGUITY divide our social collective, for the very simple reason that we will not let go of belief in our own powers of SORCERY which come from EGO.  IF WE WERE TO GO WITH THE RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION BASED UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY OF MODERN PHYSICS, INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURES, TAOISM/BUDDHISM AND ADVAITA VEDANTA, … GUESS WHAT!   We then have to LET GO OF our BELIEF IN DOUBLE ERROR BASED SORCERY WHICH IS WHERE EGO COMES FROM.  Relational transformation SUPERSEDES double error based LOCAL SORCERY and belief in SORCERY (i.e. double error belief in naming-instantiated local things-in-themselves notionally with grammar-given powers of sourcing actions and developments).

 

WHY WOULD WE EVER GIVE UP UNDERSTANDING OF OUR INCLUSION IN RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION  IN EXCHANGE FOR THE CHEAPO SUBSTITUTE OF DOUBLE ERROR BASED SORCERY?  However that came about, for us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, it we are now LOCKED-IN-BY-HIGH-SWITCHING COSTS associated with we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTs having given out all kinds of rewards and recognitions to people and nations and corporations and other name-instantiated things-in-themselves, … FOR THEIR PURPORTED LOCAL SORCERY BASED ACHIEVEMENTS!   Are we sure that the constructor was the source of that ‘housing development’ and ‘commerical complex’?   If we scout around a bit we will find stumps where trees have been taken, holes in the ground where aggregate was mined for the concrete in the construction, mine-shafts where ore was taken for the steel in the construction, and, LET’S ADMIT IT, THE WHOLE FUCKING LANDSCAPE IS CONTINUALLY TRANSFORMING, AND ALL THE WHILE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT “CONSTRUCTION OF THIS OR THAT “NEW DEVELOPMENT”.  ARE WE FUCKING CRAZY?   THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ‘NEW DEVELOPMENT’, THERE IS ONLY TRANSFORMATION AND WE ARE INCLUDED IN IT.

 

In other words, there is no such thing as GROWTH.  We can either understand change as TRANSFORMATION or as GROWTH OF SOME LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF (the ‘double error’ of language and grammar), and this is a no-brainer; e.g. if there is GROWTH of cultivated land, there must also, at the same time, be DECLINE of uncultivated land, and if humans take over the cultivated land, the four leggeds and the winged and crawly ones must squeeze into the shrinking expanse of uncultivated land, a transformation of the world as we know it.  GROWTH IS IMPOSSIBLE.  Here, we might want to recall that GROWTH would require the REAL EXISTENCE of absolute space as  container for something ‘which grows’ like a plot of cultivated land as if it were on a flat plane of infinite extent.  Since our experience is that space is relational, GROWTH OF WHATEVER IT IS ALWAYS IN RECIPROCAL RELATION TO SHRINKAGE OF WHATEVER IT IS NOT.  THAT’S JUST A LONG-WINDED WAY OF SAYING THAT “TRANSFORMATIO IS THE ONLY REALITY” AND ‘GROWTH’ IS “NOT REAL”

 

WHAT, THEN “IS GROWTH”?   ‘GROWTH’ is a double error of language and grammar; the first error is where ‘break into the flow’ by using NAMING to impute local thing-in-itself existence to a purely relational flow-form, conflating this with GRAMMAR (second error) to embellish the first error by imputing the power of sourcing actions and developments to the NAMING-instantiated thing-in-itself.

 

THINK ABOUT IT!  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “GROWTH”, THERE IS ONLY RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION!.   How fond we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are of thinking in terms of GROWTH of particular things.  The housing developer/contractor is unlikely to approach us with encouragements to be moderate in our constructions; i.e. it is unlikely that he will be reminding us that;

 

“What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. … Where is the thicket? Gone. Where is the Eagle? Gone. The end of living and the beginning of survival.”  –Indigenous aboriginal ‘reality’ re-boot..

 

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are continually talking about GROWTH as if GROWTH were ‘something REAL’, … GROWTH IS NOT REAL, TRANSFORMATION IS REAL.

WE WESTERN CUTURE ADHERENTS HAVE COME TO BELIEVE IN ‘SORCERY’ aka ‘GROWTH’ BY WAY OF THE DOUBLE ERROR OF LANGUAGE AND GRAMMAR.  “GROWTH’ IS AN ILLUSION TRIGGERED IN THE INTELLECT BY THE ABSTRACT CONCEPTS OF ‘LOCALITY’, ‘BEING’ AND ‘SORCERY’.  YES, THERE IS RELATIONAL FIGURE AND GROUND TRANSFORMATION, BUT “GROWTH” IS DOUBLE ERROR BASED ILLUSION (IF ONE BELIEVES IT IS REAL, THE ILLUSION BECOMES DELUSION).

 

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE NOT, LIKE OUR EASTERN BROTHERS AND SISTERS, UNDERSTANDING ‘SORCERY’ SIMPLY AS A TOOL FOR INTELLECTUALLY ALLUDING TO TRANSFORMATION, WE ARE INSTEAD UNDERSTANDING ‘SORCERY’ AS A ‘REAL’ DYNAMIC, forgetting that it derives from a DOUBLE ERROR of language and grammar.  It is convenient to forget that SORCERY is a SCAM because, when we use it to describe our own (notional, double error based) LOCALLY incipient personal powers of sourcing actions and developments, it is that familiar swelling-head feeling known as EGO.   The EASTERN CULTURE reminds us that ‘mitakuye oyasin’ (everything is related) so that even if we see A murdering B, … we do not assume that A is the sorcerer of the act since in the real world, we are included in a web of relational dynamics, … the reason why David Bohm points out that John Wilkes Booth is not the SOURCE of Lincoln’s death, but that many relational influences coming into connective confluence give rise to Lincoln’s death.

 

That is EASTERN, INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL …. AND…. MODERN PHYSICS WAY OF UNDERSTANIDNG REALITY — NO SORCERY ALLOWED, ONLY TRANSFORMATION.

 

BUT GUESS WHAT, THE CONSERVATIVE – LIBERAL POLAR SPLIT, AND WESTERN CULTURE SCHIZOPHRENIA IN GENERAL, DERIVES FROM BELIEF IN SORCERY AS REAL (a belief that is fuelled by EGO).

EASTERN CULTURE ADHERENCE INVOLVES BELIEF IN RELATIONAL CONNECTEDNESS (mitakuye oyasin) WHEREIN THE INDIVIDUAL IS THE ‘CHANNEL’ THROUGH WHICH NONLOCAL INFLUENCES FLOW AND MANIFEST.  THUS THE MUSICIAN IS NOT THE “SOURCE” OF THE MUSIC THAT IS COMING THROUGH HER, LIKEWISE THE MURDERER IS NOT THE SOURCE OF THE MURDEROUS ACTIONS THAT COME THROUGH HER.  THE ‘HEALING CIRCLE’ ACKNOWLEDGES THE “NONLOCALITY” OF ALL DYNAMICS AS ALSO SUPPORTED BY MODERN PHYSICS.

CLOSING COMMENT:

 

The understandings from Nietzsche Schroedinger, Bohm, Wittgenstein, compiled in this note suggest that WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are coming to a point where our SORCERY-based (EGO-based) operating assumptions are undergoing manifest (and naturally deserved) collapse.  This is what is ‘showing through’ in, FOR EXAMPLE, how people are split over whether or not to support TRUMP who is clearly on one POLE of a SORCERY-based BIPOLAR split, a manifesting  of SCHIZOPHRENIA on the scale of the WESTERN SOCIAL COLLECTIVE.

 

Since WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS CONTINUE TO BELIEVE IN TRUTH AND REASON, BOTH OF WHICH, ALONG WITH LOCALITY AND SORCERY, ARE INTELLECTUAL SCAMS AS NIETZSCHE HAS SHOWN, WE MAY NOT YET BE READY TO SHIFT TO A MORE NATURAL UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY IN TERMS OF RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION, AS SUPPORTED BY MODERN PHYSICS, INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURES, TAOISM/BUDDHISM AND ADVAITA VEDANTA.

 

MEANWHILE, WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENCE IS A ‘CRAZY-MAKER’.  IT IS A BREEDER OF SCHIZOPHRENIC SPLITTING ON THE SCALE OF THE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE, AND, FOR SOME, IT IS A SCHIZOPHRENIC SPLITTING ON THE SCALE OF THE INDIVIDUAL.  The remedy for schizophrenia is to LET GO OF ONE’S FIXATION ON THE SCAMS OF TRUTH AND REASON and “RE-GROUND” by cultivating in-phase relations within the transforming relational continuum aka the Tao (Wave-field).

 

While the ‘bad news’ is that such movement seems highly unlikely to generally blossom forth and take hold of the overall WESTERN social collective in our lifetimes, the good news is that such movement is possible for us as ‘Mahavits’, and it is happening, as Schroedinger and others have pointed out in sharing ‘what is going on with(in) them’.  Staying out of the binary split involves, in neurofeedback terms, restoring our sensori-motor rhythms to a natural primacy over binary thought patterns as associate with TRUTH, REASON, BEING, LOCALITY and SORCERY.

The other idiosyncrasy of philosophers is no less dangerous; it consists in confusing the last and the first things. They place that which makes its appearance last—unfortunately! for it ought not to appear at all!—the “highest concept,” that is to say, the most general, the emptiest, the last cloudy streak of evaporating reality, at the beginning as the beginning. This again is only their manner of expressing their veneration: the highest thing must not have grown out of the lowest, it must not have grown at all…. Moral: everything of the first rank must  be causa sui. To have been derived from something else, is as good as an objection, it sets the value of a thing in question. The above two quotes from Nietzsche speak to our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT habit of using language and grammar to INSERT a notional LOCAL SOURCE of action and development so as to do an ‘end-run’ in avoidance of having to directly deal with the INEFFABLE transforming relational continuum by linguistically IMPLANTING NOTIONAL (name-instantiated) LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES NOTIONALLY (grammar-endowed) WITH POWERS OF SOURCING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.  This is the DOUBLE ERROR of language and grammar pointed out by Nietzsche.

The following quote explains how we substitute LOCAL SORCERY in place of NONLOCAL TRANSFORMATION

“In its origin language belongs in the age of the most rudimentary form of psychology. We enter a realm of crude fetishism when we summon before consciousness the basic presuppositions of the metaphysics of language, in plain talk, the presuppositions of reason. Everywhere it sees a doer and doing; it believes in will as the cause; it believes in the ego, in the ego as being, in the ego as substance, and it projects this faith in the ego-substance upon all things — only thereby does it first create the concept of “thing.” Everywhere “being” is projected by thought, pushed underneath, as the cause; the concept of being follows, and is a derivative of, the concept of ego. In the beginning there is that great calamity of an error that the will is something which is effective, that will is a faculty. Today we know that it is only a word.” – Nietzsche, ‘Twilight of the Idols’

 

We can see how this artificial insertion of ego-based LOCAL SORCERY provides a means of sidestepping the problem of ineffability of the all-including, transforming relational continuum.

We are commonly deceiving ourselves in the manner of an innocent animal that wolfs down tasty morsels even if they contain a poison-pill . For example, ‘forgiveness’ has a sweetness to it that makes it very acceptable, even though it would have us swallow, with it, the binary concept of ‘good’-and-‘evil’ (‘right’ and ‘wrong’).  Our ego-based acceptance of our ‘sourcing’ of ‘acts of kindness’ sets us up for punishing others on the basis of their ‘sourcing’ of ‘malicious acts’; i.e. once the principle of ‘local sourcing’ is established and accepted as characterizing ‘our own powers’ and thus lives on in us as ‘ego’, … logical consistency demands that we similarly impute ‘local sourcing credits’ to ‘malicious acts’.  What we are missing in this binary interpretation is that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ‘LOCAL SOURCING’ IN THE REALITY OF OUR EXPERIENCE OF INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

However, having accepted ego-inflation from our WESTERN CULTURE social collective for our purported LOCAL SOURCING of ‘acts of kindness’, logical consistency demands that we now ‘owe it’ to the system, to do our bit to punish and eliminate the ‘sorcerers’ of ‘malicious acts’.  THERE GOES OUR UNDERSTANDING IN TERMS OF THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, AND HERE COMES OUR TRUTH AND REASON BASED UNDERSTANDING IN THE DOUBLE ERROR TERMS OF NAME-INSTANTIATED THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES WITH GRAMMAR INSTANTIATED POWERS OF SOURCING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

In this ego-assisted psychological self-trickery, we swallow the DOUBLE ERROR POISON PILL that has us replace RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION with LOCAL SOURCING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.
