When we explore our use of language in representing our sense experience PERCEPTIONS, we notice a basic difference between representing the furnishings and social goings on in our cabin in the bowels of he Titanic and continually TRANSFORMING dynamics of the world we are included in.

 

Inside our cabin, we see LOCAL things that are EXPLICIT that can GROW larger such as the construction of a temporary stage for an orchestra for a dance party while outside in the ‘open’, the reality is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT where everything is in flux and continually undergoing TRANSFORMATION.    Even this mighty ship, the Titanic that we are inside of, is not SEPARATRE from the all-including NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT dynamic of TRANSFORMATION.

 

IF WE PONDER what is going on, we can see where the notion of the all-including WAVE-FIELD comes from, with which the relational forms and their seeming ‘interactions’ must be the creations of our own inventive minds, since our sense is that the world is ONE THING which is undergoing TRANSFORMATION whereby relational forms are continually gathering and scattering and where absolutely everything is in flux.

 

We know, intuitively, that this understanding of inclusion in a fluid reality of TRANSFORMING that is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT is what our our SENSE EXPERIENCE is affirming.  We also know, intuitively, that our language-based capture of this fluid sense-experience reality makes use of a REDUCED, SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein we impute LOCAL and EXPLICIT form to what are intrinsically dynamic shapes in the all-including fluid sense-experience reality.  Language can’t possible capture this all-including fluid dynamic of the TRANSFORMING relational continuum because TRANSFORMATION is ephemeral and non-persisting while the words of language have meaning that is persisting.

Now we know that the TRICK of the EAST is use words with their persisting meaning, in relational combination to exploit the relational aspect of such representation.  Thus, in our sense experience of inclusion in a TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, we can use language to SELECT FORMS, give them NAMES (names persist even though the relational forms that inspired our inventing of NAME-TAGS for them are in continual flux.  Once we have associated NAME-TAGS with a goodly number of flow-forms, with the help of GRAMMAR, we are ready to construct a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on these NAMING-instantiated pseudo-ONTOLOGICAL entities, thanks to THEIR PERSISTING EXISTENCE, … and by THEIR, I mean the imaginary persisting IDOL that we have created by the intellectual act of NAMING a fluid flow form and  passing the PSYCHOLOGICAL BATON of leadership in reality-sensing from our sense-experience (our Dionysian go-with-the-flow sense-experience) to our intellectual judgement of ‘what is going on out there’ (our Apollonian imposing of constructive order and arrangement of things).

 

If we keep ourselves busy with the Apollonian actions of putting everything in order and constructing an ideal environment that suits our fancy, thus occupied, we can forget about the Dionysian sense experience reality of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum.   The Apollonian self we commit to keep constructing things as we want them to be, rather than letting the forces of chaos and transformation ‘catch up with us’.

 

The Dionysian is the laid-back sense of self that opens us to going with the flow in a manner where we are continually embracing and dancing with the harmonies we feel included in.

 

It is very different to live within Apollonian social collectives versus Dionysian social collectives. If the indigenous aboriginal were really referred to as In Dios (in God), this could be explained by their placement of the Dionysian in primacy over the Apollonian, in contrast to the European colonizing culture. The transformation we are included in, invites us to join in the dance of the not-yet in the midwifing of the what could be.

 

For the Dionysian, there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING relational continuum that is not to be resisted and opposed as we turn our backs and focus on our own intellectual constructions, but open up to creative suggestions implied by unfolding present and ‘go with the flow’.

 

For the Apollonian, there is the TOWN that ‘we construct from scratch’ that GROWS thanks to our continuous AUTHORING of new construction.  In our Apollonian mode, the GROWTH of DOMESTICATION is primary and the SHRINKAGE of WILDERNESS is a sign our PROGRESS in making the world a “better place” by the many ‘improvements’ we humans are engineering.  (We are not in the SUBSTITUTE REALITY).

 

The conveniences of paved roads, an electrical power grid, the bridging of waterways, the removal of Wilderness diversity to clear the way for mono-culture mass production such as fields of domesticated monocultures such as wheat, oats, vineyards and orchards, all contribute to a well-managed SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is LOCAL and EXPLICIT in the same sense as the GROWING of the TOWN, … an Apollonian development in contrast to the TOWNING that is snuggling sensually in the TRANSFORMING in a conjugal resonance.

 

Inside THE TOWN, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT are LOCAL and EXPLICIT and INTELLECTUALLY DESIGNED and DELIBERATELY CONSTRUCTED.   This is the Apollonian reality.

 

Outside in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, we see TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE where TOWNING is a kind of ‘gilding the lily’ of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE where we have the option of the Dionysian ‘going with the flow’ and giving ourselves up within a purely relational coniunctio oppositorum guided only by ‘what tickles our fancy’, our sense of inclusional participation in resonance as in the sense of being ‘one-with-everything’.

 

Inside of the TOWN that is GROWING, we work on the construction of ADDITIONAL streets and avenues, fleshing them out with RISING NUMBERS of new houses and apartments, theatres and office buildings, arenas and townhalls and an extensive collection of expressly designed, engineered and constructed LOCAL edifices, a local constructive activity that is oblivious to whether it is all being done within the open space on the third deck of the Titanic or wherever, because it is a LOCAL CONSTRUCTION which starts from an initial constructive action or ‘LOCAL stake-in-the-ground’ and is following by a whole succession of constructive actions as manifest in continuing GROWTH of the LOCAL development.

 

Whether this construction occurs on an interior deck on the Titanic or in a daisy covered meadow in the Wilderness, we can conceive of it as a LOCAL development that undergoes GROWTH as if IN IS OWN ONTOLOGICAL RIGHT, even though the indigenous elder on the nearby hill will be understanding this same ‘development’, not in LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms of a NEW THING that is GROWING LARGER, but in terms of the TRANSFORMING of the LANDSCAPE as associates with the diverse relational dynamics of nature such as the swarming of ants and in this case the swarming of humanings whose gathering and scattering, emergence and subduction is evidently included in the overall sense-experience affirmed reality of TRANSFORMATION.

 

We have TWO REALITY OPTIONS HERE.

 

But, make no mistake, there is only one SENSE EXPERIENCE reality and it is that of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING relational continuum.  The language-based intellectual construction of a REPRESENTATION of sense-experience reality IS NOT SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY.

 

 As Lao Tzu observes, “The Tao that can be told is not the true Tao”.

 

The ‘fluidity of of the Dionysian wherein one form melds into another is beyond capture in language because everything is in flux and relational forms ‘won’t sit still’ so that the can out ‘outfitted with a NAME’.  

 

The TRANSFORMING REALITY is beyond capture in WORDS that reduce fluid forms to LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES because FLUID FIGURES are IMPLICIT and NONLOCAL in the sense that FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE. This is the DIONYSIAN realm which one can enter into by letting go of that APOLLONIAN discipline that puts boundaries everywhere, reducing the relational fluidity of sense experience to the ontological rigidity of fixed structures wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO.

 

Our intellectual invention of that WESTERN TYPE OF LANGUAGE makes possible the language-based CONSTRUCTION or AUTHORING of an alternative SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein FIGURES are given ontological independent so that FIGURE and GROUND are TWO, … where instead of TOWNING in the innately fluid TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, , we can speak of “THE TOWN” that is “GROWING” within a LADSCAPE this ontologically SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT of the TOWN.  Now we are in the APOLLONIAN SUBSTITUTE REALITY, thanks to the combination of RATIONAL INTELLECTION and DOUBLE ERROR based LANGUAGE, where the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR allows us to fashion intellectual abstract constructions based on FIGURES that are ‘cognitively understood’ as INDEPENDENT of GROUND; i.e. where FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO.

 

DIONYSIAN: There is TOWNING in the transforming LANDSCAPE wherein FIGURE (towning) and GROUND (landscape) ARE ONE UNDIVIDED WHOLE; i.e. the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

 

APOLLONIAN: THERE IS “A TOWN” that is GROWING LARGER AND MORE POPULOUS and PRODUCTIVE that we can describe with INCREASING DETAILS of ITS internal development and ITS internal activities without ever having to ACKNOWLEDGE that “IT” is a RELATIONAL FORM within the all-including, transforming relational continuum.  Language is available to OUR constructions however ABSTRACT or ABSURD.  The utility of language only requires that the users HAVE THE SAME UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORDS.  Language does not POLICE ITSELF so that forms of language in the APOLLONIAN FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO terms can rise to greater popularity than forms of language in the DIONYSIAN FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE terms.

 

QUESTION: WHY the popularity of FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO language architecture in the “WEST”, rather than relational language architecture that honours FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-ONE sense experience reality?

 

ANSWER: because FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO representation is SIMPLER.

 

And just as our Copernicus said to us : It is more convenient to suppose the earth turns round, since thus the laws of astronomy are expressible in a much simpler language ; this one would say: It is more convenient to suppose the earth turns round, since thus the laws of mechanics are expressible in a much simpler language. . This does not preclude maintaining that absolute space, that is to say the mark to which it would be necessary to refer the earth to know whether it really moves, has no objective existence. When we start of without explaining HUMANS but simply impute HUMANS to have powers of AUTHORING actions and developments, we can jump forward to developing representations in terms of people who are actually constructing a TOWN as if from nothing, where it GROWS from small beginnings to an increasing larger presence; i.e. where people and their deliberate actions continue to AUTHOR its growth and development.  The concept of LOCAL GROWTH as if by LOCAL AUTHORING is a major SIMPLIFICATION of ‘reality’ which bypasses having to address how everything fits together within the transforming relational continuum.   By intellectual abstraction, language and grammar, we INVENT a SUBSTITUTE REALITY where ‘the decks are cleared’ for us to START or REPRESENTATION with LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development, in this case the construction of THE TOWN as if it were a THING-IN-ITSELF with its own powers of AUTHORING GROWTH of ITSELF and LOCAL PRODUCTION, as if IT WERE NOT INCLUDED IN A TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM (wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE), but as if it were a LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF with its own GRAMMAR-given powers of AUTHORING actions and development.

 

Hence ‘THE TOWN IS GROWING” … SO SAYS OUR LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATION, but our sense experience informs us in terms of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE which is CONTINUALLY TRANSFORMING and where WE, OURSELVES, seem to be INCLUDED in that CONTINUAL TRANSFORMING and are only ‘popped out’ and liberated in the guise of local things in ourselves (thank you very much, language, for your power of NAMING based IMPUTING OF LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF BEING) with the notional GRAMMAR-given powers of AUTHORING actions and developments (so thank you very much, GRAMMAR, for your power of imputing LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTION, GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT to the NAMING-instantiated THINGS-IN-ITSELF BEING).

 

LETS HEAR IT FOR “NAMING” and “GRAMMAR”, for the superb job they do together in allowing us to fashion REPRESENTATIONS of reality that simulate a BREAKING IN to the transforming continuum, and establishing a LOCAL, FRAGMENT that lends itself to language based REPRESENTATION, such as ‘the TOWN’ so that we are not obliged to give an account of the entire transforming relational continuum which would be impossible in our short lifetimes end even shorter attention spans.   So, the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR allows us develop representations that are LOCAL and EXPLICIT such as ‘the TOWN’ and ‘ITS GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of GOODS and SERVICES”, this SUBSTITUTE REALITY being an EFFABLE-because-LOCAL-and-EXPLICIT FRAGMENT of REALITY that we can discuss as if this SUBSTITUTE REALITY were the OPERATIVE REALITY; i.e. as if the GROWTH OF THE TOWN as a notional THING-IN-ITSELF (thus implying is inclusion within an absolute empty space of infinite extent) with its own (GRAMMAR-given) powers of AUTHORING actions, development and production was the OPERATIVE REALITY, … thus DEMOTING our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY of INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

 

Of course, by using such SUBSTITUTE REALITY construction as our OPERATIVE REALITY, we make this FRAGMENT of a world the object of out efforts to ‘improve things’ as if it ‘makes sense’ to optimize this FRAGMENT as if it existed int its own right, an approach which amounts to SUBOPTIMIZATION which is DELUSION as pointed to by systems sciences treatises such as ‘The NAME of the DEVIL is SUBOPTIMIZATION’ by Martine Dodds-Taljaard, the title taken from the writings of SYSTEMS SCIENCE pioneer Kenneth Boulding;

 

The Name of the Devil is Suboptimization’

It has its basis in the analytic‐reductionistic scientific paradigm, which, despite the remarkable technological applications it spawned, is inappropriate, conflict‐generating and dysfunctional in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence …” — György Jaros and Martine Dodds-Taljaard

The point is thus that FRAGMENTING is a form of SIMPLICATION which is CONVENIENT but UNREALISTIC as in the earlier example of ‘the EARTH is turning round’ in place of ‘there is EARTHING in the transforming relational continuum’.

 

It is language-based REPRESENTATION of reality that is responsible for the creation of THE TOWN that is GROWING and this constitutes the construction of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY that takes form within the INTELLECT that is not in agreement with the sense experience understanding of TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING relational CONTINUUM wherein ‘everything is in flux’ as is understood by all of the sense-experience informed forms within the TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM.

 

Only in this SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on language-instantiated LOCAL and EXPLICIT pseudo-forms (things-in-themselves) so we ‘have’ the impression of (the thinking that there ‘exists’) the GROWTH of LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES such as ‘the TOWN’.  Our sense experience informs us of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE in which we are included but this LOCAL and EXPLICIT SUBSTITUTE REALITY is something we intellectually construct that is OUT THERE IN FRONT OF US, that we say we can VISUALLY OBSERVE (and PHOTOGRAPH) but even if we have a photograph of ‘the TOWN’ (or even several taken at ‘intervals of passing time’), this does not DISPROVE that we are associating a NAME with a transient relational feature; i.e. a TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING relational continuum.

 

WITHOUT LANGUAGE, our sense experience of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING relational continuum prevails.  WITH LANGUAGE, we construct a SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein there is a TOWN as if it were a LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF which is somehow equipped with its own powers of GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT that we can capture/picture with a series of snapshots over TIME, making the case that ‘this notional ‘THING-IN-ITSELF’, as we are making this flow-form out to be, is capable of ACTION and DEVELOPMENT within an imagined empty containing space, such abstract space being the price we have to pay to notionally (intellectually) LIBERATE the NAMING-instantiated THING-IN-ITSELF so that we can TALK ABOUT IT as if IT DID HAVE ITS OWN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.    That is, we have to invent a SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein the NAMED ENTITY is free and on its own so that we can then use language to ANIMATE IT in whatever manner we want, without the complication of its FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-ONE inclusion.

 

Our language-based LIBERATION of the FIGURE from the GROUND establishes a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which overcomes (but only within this SUBSTITUTE REALITY) the impossibility of capturing in language, the unbounded-in-spacetime Wave-field aka the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE.

 

The APOLLONIAN reality corresponds to our invention of the FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO SUBSTITUTE REALITY.

 

The NATURAL REALITY is the DIONYSIAN reality which is our FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-ONE sense-experience reality.

 

Letting ourselves become intoxicated and inspired by our inclusion within reality is the indigenous aboriginal way.

 

DISTANCING OURSELVES from sense-experience reality comes by INTELLECTUALLY constructing the SUBSTITUTE REALITY which is a reality we can OBSERVE as if it something ‘out there’ and separate from ourselves, like an ‘exhibition’ that we are continuing to explore while always retaining our SELF-OTHER MUTUAL EXCLUSION.  This is the utility of the SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein we can SEE the TOWN GROWING and are thus no longer in the condition of understanding  our being INCLUDED in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE in which TOWNING is included, where GROWTH does not enter into the picture because GROWTH belongs to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT which comes with the SUBSTITUTE REALITY we construct with language and the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

The APOLLONIAN psycho-intellectual mode is where we are free to construct the sort of reality that we prefer, as when we construct the TOWN and put in the streets, and houses and sewers and electrical power grid and the Mayoralty to make it work in the way we want it to work.

 

The DIONYSIAN sense-experience mode is one of inclusion where we “let the soft animal of our body love what it wants to love” where everything ‘melts down’ as in a Salvador Dali painting as LOCAL AND EXPLICIT things do in our mind as our sense experience puts us in touch with our inclusion within the TOWNING within the TRANSFORMING relational continuum wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX in a NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT sense-reality.  This DIONYSIAN sensate reality is unlike the APOLLONIAN intellectual LOCAL and EXPLICIT SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein we imagine that there is GROWTH and there is LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments, thanks to language with its DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

This SUBSTITUTE REALITY is THE TOOL THAT HAS RUN AWAY WITH THE WORKMAN, THE HUMAN WITH THE DIVINE, as Emerson has pointed out.  The SUBSTITUTE REALITY can be a useful TOOL OF INFERENCE but is not fit for PRIME-TIME reality.   SENSE EXPERIENCE REALITY that is in the NOW of our experience of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM is in a natural primacy, … THE PROBLEM BEING THAT SENSE EXPERIENCE REALITY IS INEFFABLE BECAUSE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT.  That is, since FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE so that we are both FIGURE and GROUND, our sense experience cannot be neatly split out of the UNDIVIDED WHOLENESS of the transforming relational continuum.

 

Our intellectual use of DOUBLE ERROR language and grammar does allow us to CONSTRUCT a SUBSTITUTE REALITY within which WE ARE SPLIT OUT AS a FIGURE that is seemingly INDEPENDENT of the GROUND, but this abstract construction of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY is only fit for use as a TOOL OF INFERENCE of the sense-experience reality which is INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT aka the Wave-field aka the transforming relational continuum.

 

So, good for us for having INVENTED AN EFFABLE-because-LOCAL-and-EXPLICIT “SUBSTITUTE REALITY” , but NOT GOOD FOR US, … those of us known as WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, for employing the SUBSTITUTE REALITY IN PLACE of our sense-experience reality, RATHER THAN AS A TOOL OF INFERENCE OF THE INEFFABLE-BECAUSE-NONLOCAL-AND-IMPLICIT SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY THAT LIES BEYOND THE REACH OF THE LIMITED CAPABILITIES OF LANGUAGE.  The problem with LANGUAGE is that insofar as it is based on WORDS, WORDS have fixed meaning that persists while the flow-forms of reality are undergoing continual transformation.

 

So while the EAST is using words in combination so as to cultivate relations which can deal with the reality that is flow-based, by using the relations implied by the dynamics of clusters of things (the relations being the primary reality), the WEST is using words as LOCAL IDOLS whose dynamics we are supposed to understand DIRECTLY as reality.  As Nietzsche reminds us, we need to SMASH THE IDOLS in order to get to the relations, because if we don’t, and we instead interpret REALITY LITERALLY IN TERMS OF THE ACTIONS of the IDOLS, then we are stuck in a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which has us believing in LOCAL AUTHORS of actions and developments, … LOCAL AUTHORS that are abstraction that can only serve as a means of conveying relational dynamics.  The TOWN that is GROWING is one of those LOCAL AUTHOR abstractions that can infer the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.  BUT WE ARE SCREWED (PSYCHOLOGICALLY SPLIT) IF WE ACCEPT LITERALLY, AS A SUBSTITUTE REALITY, ‘the TOWN IS GROWING’ (we then have to invent an absolute empty and infinite containing space to liberate the FIGURE from the GROUND so as to impute to it ‘its own growth’).

 

HOW CAN WE ASSIMILATE AND MOVE IN RESONANCE WITH THE REALITY OF INCLUSION IN TRANSFORMATION IF WE ACCEPT THE SUBSTITUTE REALITY THAT FEATURES THE ‘GROWTH’ OF ‘TOWNS’ OR ‘HUMANS’ ETC.?

 

WE CAN’T!   THE CONCEPT OF ‘THE TOWN IS GROWING’ IS A ‘DOUBLE ERROR’ OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR THAT IS ONLY GOOD AS A ‘WITTGENSTEIN LADDER’ TO INFER THE INEFFABLE-BECAUSE-NONLOCAL-AND-IMPLICIT “TRANSFORMATOIN” THAT IS THE REALITY AFFIRMED BY OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE.

 

JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE COME UP WITH A SCHEME TO ARTICULATE SOME CRUDE REPRESENTATION OF REALITY as in the SUBSTITUTE REALITY which gives us the capability of SHARING CRUDE IMPRESSIONS of our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY, … DOES NOT JUSTIFY OUR ‘JUMPING SHIP’ and PSYCHOLOGICALLY MOVING INTO THAT SUBSTITUTE REALITY AS IF IT WERE the OPERATIVE REALITY.

 

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, WHEN OFFERED A SERVING OF ‘SUBSTITUTE REALITY’, ARE NOW IN THE HABIT OF  ‘BALKING’ INSTEAD OF MAKING THE INTUITIVE LEAP OF INFERENCE, AND ARE THUS BURDENED WITH THIS “SUBSTITUTE REALITY” WHEREIN ‘TOWNS GROW’ and ‘PRODUCE PRODUCTS’.  SINCE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS SUPPORT AN ‘ECONOMY’ WHICH FEEDS ON ‘GROWTH’ SUCH AS THE ‘GROWTH OF TOWNS AND INDUSTRY AND ROADS AND ELECTRICAL GRIDS AND HIGHWAY GRIDS’, … WE ARE NOT EXACTLY CULTIVATING UNDERSTANDING OF OUR SENSE EXPERIENCE OF INCLUSION IN TRANSFORMATION.

 

Beyond GROWTH and PRODUCTION there are HOLES in the landscape where we have been quarrying ‘raw materials’ and there are piles of WASTE across the land and floating in the waterways, reminding us that GROWTH and PRODUCTION is NOT THE FULL STORY even if it is our WESTERN CULTURE RATIONAL MIND DRIVEN OBSESSION. In reality, we are included in the transforming relational continuum and the concepts of LOCAL THINGS notionally capable of AUTHORING GROWTH and PRODUCTION are DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based ABSTRACTION.

 

Our DIONYSIAN selves naturally ‘go with the flow’ under the guidance of our sense experience of INCLUSION in the flow, while our APOLLONIAN selves see everything, including ourselves, as ‘resources’ that we can use in ‘making IMPROVEMENTS to the land, by CLEARING THE WILDERNESS and AUTHORING GROWTH of NEW CONSTRUCTION and  PRODUCTION.

 

THE MAIN POINT HERE IS THAT WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE STUCK (ARE TRAPPING OURSELVES) IN THE SUBSTITUTE REALITY WE ARE CONSTRUCTING WITH OUR DOUBLE ERROR BASED NAMING AND GRAMMAR ABSTRACTION.  IT IS THE APOLLONIAN INTELLECTUAL LOCAL AND EXPLICIT SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO THAT IS DISPLACING THE DIONYSIAN INTUITIVE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE.

 

THE DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based SUBSTITUTE REALITY is a SIMPLIFIED PSEUDO-REALITY that can serve as a TOOL OF INFERENCE of the INEFFABLE-because-NONLOCAL-and-IMPLICIT TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka the WAVE-FIELD aka ‘the Tao’.  We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS now find ourselves in a FRAGMENTING REALITY wherein the TOOL has run away with the workman, the HUMAN of FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO intellectual abstraction has run away with the HUMANING of FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-ONE sense-experience reality..
