i.e. the TOWNING is BOTH a distinguishable FEATURE and AT THE SAME TIME, the GROUND IT IS MADE OF, this FIGURE and GROUND as ONE relation IS THE QUANTUM LOGIC REALITY which we capture in language with the words \u2018THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE\u201d and this is how it is done in the indigenous aboriginal language architecture; i.e. the representation is QUANTUM LOGIC based.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But in our WESTERN CULTURE VIEWING, and subsequent LANGUAGE CAPTURE, \u2026 there is a tendency for us to NOT SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES, or in other words, to DIFFERENTIATE the scene in the mathematical sense of DIFFERENTIATION where we DROP OUT the overall relational landscape continuum so as to FOCUS IN AND \u2018ABSTRACT OUT\u2019 what we may think of as the LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONTENT and as in MATHEMATICAL DIFFERENTIATION, if we WANT TO REVERSE BACK OUT OF OUR DIFFERENTIATION, by RE-INTEGRATION into the FULL CONTINUUM, all we have that remains of the NON-LOCAL and IMPLICIT character of the PRE-DIFFERENTIATED FULLBLOWN REALITY, is a CONSTANT which is like a note in the margin that preserves the DROPPED OUT DETAIL in one LUMP SUM.\u00a0 The point is that ONCE WE DIFFERENTIATED so as to focus in the MALE-ASSERTING LOCAL AND EXPLICIT ASPECTS, we do so at the EXPENSE of DROPPING OUT the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE ASPECT.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE has oriented to the LOCAL AND EXPLICIT aspect of WAVE-FIELD REALITY, DROPPING OUT the NONLOCAL and IMPLCIIT FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD PLENUM.\u00a0\u00a0 WHILE THIS SIMPLIFIES THE WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE SCHEME, the resultant ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING REPRESENTATION, as in \u2018the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING\u2019, \u2026 has ABSTRACTLY REDUCED the reality of our sense-experience of inclusion therein, to a VOYEURIZABLE MALE-ASSERTING MATERIAL EFFIGY wherein we substitute a notional CONTAINER of ABSOLUTE EMPTINESS for the FEMALE LANDSCAPE CONTINUUM.\u00a0 As far a LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE GOES, this SIMPLIFIES the problem of REPRESENTATION because it DROPS OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE and that has and continues to characterize our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE.\u00a0 Because this ARTIFICIALLY SPLITS US APART FROM THE REALITY WE ARE INCLUDED IN, as David Bohm points out, our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE is the source of FRAGMENTATION which leads to SCHIZOPHRENIA and PARANOIA.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE, consistent with Modern physics, has developed a language architecture without the DIFFERENTATION that reduces the landscape to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.\u00a0 This is a language that preserves the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT character of WAVE-FIELD reality wherein the MALE ASSERTING ACTION is rooted in the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD PLENUM.\u00a0 THE MALE ASSERTING ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT AS IN \u201cTHE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products\u201d, \u2026 is NOT REALITY but a DERIVATIVE of REALITY.\u00a0 REALITY is the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka the WAVE-FIELD and only by the ABSTRACTION of DIFFERENTIATION wherein WE USE DIFFERENCING TO EXTRACT THE MALE ASSERTING FEATURES FROM THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING GROUND, do we get the WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE SYSTEM where the DIFFERENTIATED ARTIFACTS are PROMOTED TO PRIMARY REALITY STATUS\u00a0 so that LANGUAGE-BASED REALITY is equated to the PRODUCT OF DIFFERENTIATION.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SO, INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LANGUAGE (consistent with Modern physics) DOES NOT USE DIFFERENTATION to REDUCE and SIMPLIFY SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY down to a DIFFERENTIATED SUBSTITUTE REALITY that DROPS OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE.\u00a0 For example, the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LANGUAGE employs the QUANTUM LOGIC expression \u201cTHERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE\u201d whereas the WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE uses a DIFFERENTIATED SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATE which is extracted from WAVE-FIELD REALITY by DROPPING OUT THE FEMALE-ACCOMMODATING conjugate.\u00a0 That is, by differentiating the LANDSCAPE-CONTINUUM which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, we can obtain the LOCAL and EXPLICIT DETAIL such as \u201cThe TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WHAT THIS REDUCTION DOES IS TO GIVE SYNTHETIC AUTHORING POWERS TO THE DIFFERENTIATED LOCAL AND EXPLICIT product of the DIFFERENTIATION, and when we put these FRAGMENTS TOGETHER, we can only do so MECHANICALLY because we have the HUMPTY DUMPTY FELL OFF THE WALL PROBLEM of having LOST the HOLISTIC SCHEME of things in the FRAGMENTATION.\u00a0\u00a0 WHILE THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE DID NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP AND DEVELOPED LANGUAGE that RETAINS the INNATE FLUIDITY of WAVE-FIELD REALITY, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS OPTED FOR A LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE BASED ON FRAGMENTING REALITY, AND THIS REMAINS A PERSISTING PROBLEM IN THAT OUR LANGUAGE BASED FRAGMENTED REALITY IS MESSING UP OUR WESTERN CULTURE PSYCHE.\u00a0 As Bohm observes;<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The title of this chapter is \u2018Fragmentation and wholeness\u2019. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man\u2019s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the \u2018normal\u2019 limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This is the CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS in our WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMIC; i.e.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n THE FRAGMENTATION WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE BUILT INTO OUR LANGUAGE WITH THE DROP-OUT OF THE FEMALE WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE IS DRIVING US NUTS!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n THIS PROBLEM CAN BE EXPRESSED IN TERMS OF THE DROPPING OUT OF QUANTUM LOGIC AND THE SUBSTITUTING OF BINARY LOGIC.\u00a0 THIS IS A MAJOR \u201cDUMBING DOWN\u201d OF OUR LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATIONS.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ONCE WE HAVE \u2018DUMBED REALITY DOWN\u2019 TO \u2018THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING products\u201d, WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE RESULT OF THIS DIFFERENTIATION WHICH CHOPS OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE TO SERVE UP THE DISCONNECTED FRAGMENTS; I.E. HELLO AND WELCOME, EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n OF COURSE, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE GIVEN UP THE MAZE OF CONNECTING RELATIONS THAT MAKES SENSE OF THINGS IN ORDER TO DO THIS LINGUISTIC FRAGMENTATION, SO HOW WOULD WE EVER PUT HUMPTY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN IF WE NEEDED A DEFRAGMENTED UNDERSTANDING.\u00a0\u00a0 THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION BECAUSE THE CONSTANT \u2018C\u2019 OF INTEGRATION DOES NOT OFFER US THE DETAILS WE WOULD NEED IN ORDER TO RECONSTITUTE A DEFRAGMENTED ORIGINAL REALITY.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n OK, OUR LANGUAGE GIVES US THE TOWN AS A LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF AND A HISTORY OF \u2018ITS DEVELOPMENT\u2019, BUT WHAT WE WILL NEED IN ORDER TO RECOVER \u00a0THE SENSE-EXPERIENCE CONSISTENT REALITY, IS ALL THE INGREDIENTS THAT SUPPORT THE \u201cTOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE\u201d WHICH IS GROUNDED IN THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT (RELATIONAL) WHICH IS THE BASIC NATURE OF WAVE-FIELD REALITY.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WE HAVE BURNED OUR BRIDGES WITH OUR WESTERN CULTURE MALE-ASSERTING FRAGMENTATION BASED SUBSTITUTE REALITY.\u00a0 HAVING DEVELOPED A DEPENDENCY ON THE DIFFERENTIATED FRAGMENT SUCH AS \u2018THE TOWN\u2019 SEEN AS A LOCAL, EXPLICIT, THING-IN-ITSELF WITH ITS OWN GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS SUCH AS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT, \u2026 WE ARE SCREWED AS FAR AS RE-INTEGRATING THIS\u00a0 FRAGMENT INTO THE FULLBLOWN RELATIONAL LANDSCAPE; I.E. THE FULLBLOWN WAVE-FIELD.\u00a0 WE ARE IN A SIMILAR PLIGHT TO THE MAN IN THE SONG<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When it gets too hot for comfort<\/em><\/p>\n And you can’t get ice cream cone<\/em><\/p>\n Tain’t no sins<\/em><\/p>\n To take off your skins<\/em><\/p>\n And dance around in your bones<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n DIFFERENTIATION removes the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING \u2018COVER\u2019, but AT THE PRICE OF A LOSS THE UNDERSTANDING OF TAOISM\/BUDDHISM AND ADVAITA VEDANTA.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CONFUSION is introduced in the WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE based representation system due to the DROP OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE<\/em><\/strong> in that the WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE based system of REPRESENTATION \u201cSIMPLIFIES REALITY\u201d (or rather, \u201cintroduces a simplified AWAY to give this FRAGMENT based SKELETAL VIEW, the DIFFERENTITED VIEW OF THE PSEUDO-LOCAL AND EXPLICIT aka the MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATE-ON-ITS-OWN, WHICH IS NOT REAL AND FROM WHICH WE CAN NEVER RECOVER THE FULLBLOWN ANDROGYNOUS REALITY BECAUSE OUR LANGUAGE \u2018FRAGMENTS\u2019 REALITY AND TOSSES OUT THE RELATION FABRIC (THE WAVE-FIELD) THAT IS THE PRIMARY REALITY, LEAVING US WITH THE MESS OF FRAGMENTS WE HAVE CHOPPED OUT WITHOUT THE MEANS TO RESTORE THE WHOLENESS WE CHOPPED THEM OUT OF.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n THIS IS THE PROBLEM THAT BOHM IS TALKING ABOUT IN HIS ABOVE-CITED COMMENT ON \u2018FRAGMENTATION\u2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n DIFFERENTIATION AS IN MATHEMATICS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR LANGUAGE BASED CONSTRUCTIONS AND WHEN WE DIFFERENTIATE A MOVING, TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, WE GET STATIC FRAGMENTS WHICH ARE THE \u2018GHOSTS\u2019 OF DEPARTED RELATIONAL FORMS WITHIN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.\u00a0 THESE \u2018FORMS\u2019 ARE \u2018APPEARANCES\u2019 THAT WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS USE LANGAUGE TO \u2018HANG NAMES ON\u2019 AND THEN EMPLOY GRAMMAR TO IMPUTE TO THESE NAMING-INSTANTIATED FRAGMENTS, \u2018THEIR OWN (NOTIONAL) GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, LEADING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FRAGMENT BASED SUBSTITUTE REALITY.\u00a0 That is the WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE BASED SUBSTITUTE REALITY.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LANGUAGE PRESERVES THE ANDROGYNOUS WAVE-FIELD NATURE OF REALITY WHICH IS QUANTUM LOGIC based whereby MATERIAL FORMS are understood as CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD, and there is no recourse needed to the abstractions of BINARY LOGIC as associate with MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL OBJECTS IN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE CONTAINING SPACE.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n * comes with the mistaken belief that we are LOCAL AUTHORS OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.\u00a0 WE ARE NOT!\u00a0 THAT BOGUS IMPRESSION derives from the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING and GRAMMAR which is NOT FOUND in relational languages such as the indigenous aboriginal language. \u00a0Then there is the belief in the BINARY of EITHER right OR wrong which is another contributor to SCHIZOPHRENIA as where we co-contribute to dissonance in the social dynamic so that as in a crowd dynamic, some poor soul gets pushed over the balcony rail and falls to their death, or some individual becomes the lightning rod for release of relational social collective tensional buildup and is designated by the social collective as the \u2018identified patient\u2019, the individual that \u2018has the problem\u2019 (hey, we who do not become lightning rod conduits for the release of tensions brewed up in the social collective are fee to wear our NORMAL badges, thanks to the WESTERN CULTURE \u2018innocent until proven guilty\u2019 rule which allows our overall social collective to preserve our innocent status indefinitely, provided we volunteer for jury duty so as to put the finger on some poor lightning rod \u2018the WORD is NOT THE THING\u2019, \u2026 but I have to take exception to that quote from Korzybski because in saying what he said, he gives credence to the EXISTENCE OF THINGS, and his theorizing further reinforces in our minds the legitimacy of the concept of THINGS by inventing CATEGORIES OF THINGS which he labels \u201cTHE CLASSES OF LIFE\u201d i.e. \u2018The PLANTS as the Chemistry-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 the ANIMALS as the Space-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 and HUMANITY as the Time-binding CLASS OF LIFE.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My problem with Korzybski\u2019s work, which I think makes a great contribution TO GETTING OUT OF OUR ENTRAPMENT BY LITERAL BELIEF IN THE \u2018REALITY\u2019 OF WORD-BASED THINGS, is that his work AT THE SAME TIME, RE-ENTRENCHES US IN BELIEF IN \u2018THE THING\u2019 since in saying THE WORD IS NOT THE THING, he implies that THERE ARE THINGS, but that our LANGUAGE is not CAPABLE of CAPTURING THEIR ESSENCE.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n PROBLEM!\u00a0\u00a0 THIS IS A BACK-HANDED AFFIRMATION OF THE EXISTENCE OF \u201cTHINGS\u201d, which KORZYBSKI FURTHER AIDS AND ABETS BY HIS \u201cCATEGORIZING OF THINGS\u201d as PLANTS, ANIMALS and HUMANITY.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ALL OF THIS FURTHER ENTRENCHES US IN BELIEF IN A WORLD OF MATERIAL THINGS which is AT ODDS with the WAVE-FIELD conception of reality in which there are CONDENSATIONS of the WAVE-FIELD that NEVER MAKE IT TO INDEPENDENT THINGHOOD, but PERSIST as relational forms in the unending fluidity of the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n KORZYBSKI, by describing CATEGORIES OF THINGS, \u201cCONCRETIZES\u201d the notion of a world POPULATED WITH DIFFERENT THINGS, \u2026 which has been the continuing language-supported WORLDVIEW of WESTERN CULTURE, \u2026 which conflicts with the WORLDVIEW of EASTERN CULTURE and MODERN PHYSICS.\u00a0 In the latter \u2018modes of understanding\u2019, REALITY IS THE CONTINUALLY TRANSFORMING (FLUID) WAVE-FIELD which is punctuated by RELATIONAL FORMINGS that are NOT LOCAL and are NOT EXPLICIT but as FLOW-FORMS persist as NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) phenomena, in the sense of WHORLS in WATERFLOW wherein FIGURE and GROUND are ONE and NOT TWO.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SO KORZYBSKI, with his CATEGORIES OF \u201cTHINGS\u201d CONCRETIZES THESE NOTIONAL \u2018THINGS\u2019 by suggesting that their DIFFERING ATTRIBUTES are GROUNDS FOR UNDERSTAND THEM AS \u2018DIFFERENT CLASSES OF THINGS\u2019 and once we apply the concept of DIFFERENTIATION to purely fluid forms in the flow, we are in effect REIFYING the FORMINGS IN THE FLOWING by using LANGUAGE to give them a DIFFERENCE based EXISTENCE as with \u201cTHE CLASSES OF LIFE\u201d i.e. \u2018The PLANTS as the Chemistry-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 the ANIMALS as the Space-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 and HUMANITY as the Time-binding CLASS OF LIFE. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n DIFFERENTIATION OVER-RULES INTEGRATION AND SINCE THE INTEGRATING AGENCY IS THE COMMON INCLUSION IN THE WAVE-FIELD WHICH IS THE PRIMARY REALITY, DIFFERENTIATION \u201cDROPS OUT\u201d THE PRIMARY REALITY OF THE ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD and effectively RE-SITUATES THE DIFFERENTIATED ENTITIES WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, which is the PRICE WE MUST PAY for this DIFFERENTIATION since DIFFERENTIATING makes use of a notional PERSISTING BEING of those FORMS being DIFFERENTIATED.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ONCE WE HAVE DONE THE DIFFERENTIATION and PRODUCED THE CATEGORIES OF THINGS, WE HAVE THE HUMPTY-DUMPTY PROBLEM OF BEING UNABLE TO PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER AGAIN BECAUSE WE ARE MISSING ESSENTIAL UNDERSTANDING THAT COMES WITH THE ONE-NESS OF THE WAVE-FIELD IN WHICH THE FORMS IN THE WAVE-FIELD ARE IN A \u2018BOTH\/AND\u2019 RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WAVE-FIELD, MEANTING THAT THE FORMS ARE INSEPARABLE SINCE THE IDENTITY OF THE FLUID FORM IS TIED UP WITH THE IDENTITY OF THE FLUID MEDIUM AND THERE CAN BE NO \u2018DIFFERENTIATING OUT\u2019 A RELATIONAL FORMING-IN-THE-FLOWING WITHOUT A LOSS OF ESSENTIAL MEANING OF THAT RELATIONAL FORMING-IN-THE-FLOWING.\u00a0\u00a0 AND IF WE CREATE A REPRESENTATON BASED ON ALL OF THE DIFFERENTIABLE FORMS VIEWED AS A COLLECTION OF LOCAL, EXPLICIT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES (WHORLS THAT WE HAVE LIFTED OUT OF THE FLOW), THIS PRODCESS OF DIFFERENTIATING LEAVES US WITH A \u2018HUMPTY-DUMPTY\u2019 PROBLEM; I.E. WITH A COLLECTION OF SEPARATE THINGS, SUCH SEPARATENESS BEING THE EQUIVALENT OF THEIR BEING PUT ON DISPLAY WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE CONTAINING SPACE THAT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THEIR INDIVIDUAL THING-IN-ITSELF APPEARANCE BASED MEANING.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Mathematics, we see this playing out in terms of the CONSTANT OF INTEGRATION which is an ADMISSION that when we try to RE-INTEGRATE that which we have DIFFERENTIATED, we are MISSING the relations between and among the DIFFERNTIATED PIECES, and the best we can do in mathematics is to MARK what is missing with the CONSTANT OF INTEGRATION which essentially makes the statement: There is something we removed in DIFFERENTIATION that we must put back in, in our process of \u00a0INTEGRATION but have lost the exotic and complex web of relations that we \u2018took out\u2019 in DIFFERENTIATING so the CONSTANT OF INTEGRATION is being used as a kind of MEMO TO FILE (here is the amorphous lump sum of the intricate relations we dropped out in our differentiating that signify what is requires to put HUMPTY DUMPTY back together again in the process of re-INTEGRATING what has been DIFFERENTIATED.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE runs into this problem since it employs the TOOL of DIFFERENTIATION based FRAGMENTATION in its use of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which essential uses language to FRAGMENT REALITY and recast PIECES of the sense-experience reality of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum, in terms of LOCAL FRAGMENTS and \u201cTHEIR\u201d actions as presented using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR; e.g. note the consistent ONE-SIDED MALE-ASSERTING ABSTRACTION IN LANGUAGE CONSTRUCTS based on \u201cDIFFERENTIATION\u201d SUCH AS \u2018THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING goods\u2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL, TAOIST\/BUDDHIST AND ADVAITA VEDANTA LANGUAGE does not run into the problems associated with the TOOL of DIFFERENTIATION based FRAGMENTATON since there is no employment of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR , and the language employed corresponding \u2018THE TOWN IS GROWING \u2026\u2019 is instead in FLOW-RETAINING FORM, .. \u2018THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0 In the latter INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL ETC language architecture THERE IS NO DIFFERENTIATION and this no problem with WHAT TO DO WITH THE CONSTANT OF INTEGRATION\u2019, because in WESTERN CULTURE, the DIFFERENTIATED AND THUS FRAGMENTED RESULT IS EMPLOYED DIRECTLY AS THE OPERATING REALITY, a FRAGMENTING LANGUAGE based \u2018OPERATING REALITY\u2019 which is problematic.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n NOTA BENE:\u00a0 This following warning on FRAGMENTATION coming form our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is a CURRENT AND PERSISTING source of SOCIAL-RELATIONAL DYSFUNCTION! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The title of this chapter is \u2018Fragmentation and wholeness\u2019. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man\u2019s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the \u2018normal\u2019 limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n What is being claimed by Bohm is not the same as what is being claimed by Korzybski.\u00a0\u00a0 Korzybski is claiming that \u2018the WORD IS NOT THE THING\u2019 which gives backhanded support to the EXISTENCE OF THINGS.\u00a0\u00a0 Bohm is saying that THINGS DO NOT EXIST since things are the ARTEFACT of LANGUAGE and as Nietzsche pointed out, we use LANGUAGE in the form of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to imply LOCAL AUTHORING and it is this DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING and GRAMMAR instantiated LOCAL AUTHORING that is the source of FRAGMENTATION within our LANGUAGE-based REPRESENTATIONS which we then store in our psyche in our construction of linguistically articulable intellectual abstraction based representations of an OPERATIVE REALITY.\u00a0\u00a0 Whereas Korzybski points out that \u2018the WORD is not the THING\u2019, Korzybski leaves untouched the concept of the existence of THINGS and he further develops the notion of the EXISTENCE OF THINGS by creating CATEGORIES of THINGS; i.e. . \u201cTHE CLASSES OF LIFE\u201d i.e. \u2018The PLANTS as the Chemistry-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 the ANIMALS as the Space-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 and HUMANITY as the Time-binding CLASS OF LIFE.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n BY CONTRAST, MODERN PHYSICS, BOHM, AND NIETZSCHE, employ a DEEPER EXCAVATION by REMOVING ALSO, the concepts of THINGS which KORZYBSKI has retained, doing away with only the meaning coming from WORDS that we use to PASTE LABELS on things and suggesting a kind of END-RUN to bypass NAMES yet nevertheless get to the MEANING OF THINGS such as by way of CATEGORIES.\u00a0 Bohm and Nietzsche, on the other hand TAKE A DEEPER CUT and discredit the VERY NOTION OF THINGS, going all the way \u2018down\u2019 to the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD in which there are CONDENSATIONS which never make it to the status of THINGS but remain in Siamese twin like relationship with the overall transforming relational continuum wherein FIGURE and GROUND are ONE (where the FIGURE is a CONDENSATION of the WAVE-FIELD GROUND).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Korzybski\u2019s , \u201cTHE CLASSES OF LIFE\u201d i.e. \u2018The PLANTS as the Chemistry-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 the ANIMALS as the Space-Binding CLASS OF LIFE, \u2026 and HUMANITY as the Time-binding CLASS OF LIFE. <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0builds on the notion of \u201cCATEGORIES OF LIFE\u201d which GROUNDS the category based defining of things on the basis of THEIR ACTIONS (Chemistry-binding, Space-binding and Time-binding), which is essentially a FALLING BACK on WHAT THINGS DO for an understanding of things, rather than accepting WORD-NAMES as a cover for MATERIAL THINGS.\u00a0 This does not go so far as Bohm and Nietzsche who reject the abstract concept of \u2018the THING\u2019 as in \u2018CLASSES OF LIFE\u2019 e.g. \u2018the PLANTS, the ANIMALS and HUMANITY\u2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n * * *<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My goal here is not simply to criticize Korzybski but to bring forth to the surface that fact that we have TWO LEVELS OF PROBLEMS WITH OUR WESTERN LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE;<\/p>\n <\/p>\n PROBLEM LEVEL ONE: KORZYBSKI<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0 WE ARE CONFUSING THE WORD FOR THE \u2018THING\u2019.\u00a0 \u201cSay whatever you choose about the object, and whatever you might say is not it.\u201d Or, in other words: \u201cWhatever you might say the object ‘is,’ well, it is not.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n PROBLEM LEVEL TWO: Nietzsche and Bohm:<\/strong> THERE ARE NO LOCAL, EXPLICIT OBJECTS, there are only CONDENSATIONS of the all-including WAVE-FIELD. As Bohm says, SPACE IS NOT EMPTY (it is not an empty container for MATERIAL BEING THINGS), it is FULL.\u00a0 Nietzsche points out that the AUTHORING ACTIONS of MATERIAL BEINGS is abstraction deriving from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSpace is not empty.
