WHY WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE STAYING ON THE “LEMMING LEAP” PATH
AUTHOR’S PREFACE: The Title refers to the fact that as we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS continue to DROP OUT the female accommodating/enabling conjugate from our linguistic conceptualizing; i.e. as we continue to use BEING based linguistic conceptualizations such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ (the male asserting/actualizing part) while SAYING NOTHING about the conjugate SHRINKING of WILDERNESS (the female accommodating/enabling part) and thus SAYING NOTHING about the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, WE ARE, IN EFFECT using language to construct a SIMPLIFIED VOYEUR VIEWED PSEUDO-REALITY (the TOWN is GROWING) which is AT ODDS with our INCLUDED SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMED REALITY (there is TOWNING in this all-includingTRANSFORMING WORLD; i.e. the TOWNING is a FEATURE WITHIN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM and we HUMANINGS are also FEATURES within the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.
––– NONBINARY (BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM) INCLUSION OF MAN-IN-EARTH (CONDENSATION OF WAVE-FIELD IN WAVE-FIELD):

This is supported by Jantsch LEVEL 1 (TRANSFORMATION) MODE of AWARENESS where we see ourselves as included in an ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM. However, we continue to struggle with lesser, BINARY LOGIC based forms of AWARENESS
––– BINARY (EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM) SPLIT OF MAN AND EARTH (“MATERIAL BEING” IN EMPTY SPACE):
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
This is supported by the LEVEL 3 CONSERVATIVE and LEVEL 2 LIBERAL modes of AWARENESS wherein we conceive of ourselves (or believe ourselves to BE) INDEPENDENT BEINGS with our own DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR-given powers of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments as if we were NON-INCLUDED INDEPENDENT BEINGS acting and interacting in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.
In the NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM based linguistic conceptualizing, there is TOWNING and HUMANING in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM. EVERYTHING is included in the TRANSFORMING PLENUM, including OURSELVES.
In the BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM based linguistic conceptualizing wherein the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods, we visualize this as if the GROWING TOWN is situated within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE. We do not ‘see’ in this visualization, the SHRINKING of WILDERNESS. The TOWN seems to have a LIFE OF ITS OWN, a MALE ASSSERTING/ACTUALIZING thing-in-itself where “THE TOWN” is no longer a TOWNING that is an inextricably included RELATIONAL FEATURE WITHIN THE ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING PLENUM.
In the BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM based linguistic conceptualizing, WE CONCIEVE OF OURSELVES AS SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEINGS with “OUR OWN” GRAMMAR GIVEN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS; i.e. as INDEPENDENT HUMANOIDS. The INDEPENDENT BEING conceptualizing SIDESTEPS our SENSE-EXPERIENCE GROUNDED REALITY wherein the TOWNING or HUMANING is a relational FEATURE WITHIN the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, as captured in indigenous aboriginal culture with the STRAND in the WEB conceptualization and in Modern physics with the CONDENSATION of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.

IF WE CHOOSE BEING-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING THEN WE CANNOT BE INCLUDED IN OUR OWN LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZINGS since MATERIAL BEING based THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES CAN ONLY EXIST (maintain their independence) WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.
IF WE CHOOSE FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING THEN WE OURSELVES, as FLOW-FEATURES, ARE INCLUDED IN THE MANNER of A STRAND IN THE WEB OR a WHORLING in a FLOWING, IN OUR OWN LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING where we are DISTINGUISHABLE NOT BY OUR INDEPENDENCE (WE ARE “NOT” INDEPENDENT OTHER THAN BY OUR APPEARANCE). That is, the WHORLING has an APPEARANCE that is “DISTINGUISHABLE” from the FLOWING it is included in, but IT IS NOT INDEPENDENT of the FLOWING. In fact the WHORLINGS IN FLOWING ARE ALL INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT since they are FLOW-FEATURES and there is ONLY ONE FLOW, hence the “seeming” “INDEPENDENCE” of a FORM IN THE FLOW (e.g. a WHORLING IN THE FLOWING) is only “APPEARANCE”.
CONFUSION CAN ARISE in the case where a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING scheme is used that gives a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE to BEING where the WHORLING-IN-THE-FLOWING is LINGUISTICALLY CONCEPTUALIZED as a NOTIONAL “WHORL” THING-IN-ITSELF with (“ITS OWN”) GRAMMAR GIVEN POWERS of LOCAL AUTHORING of LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT. Another way to say this; THERE IS NO PLACE FOR “BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC” in linguistic conceptualizing of sense-experience since EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED WITHIN THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) FLOWING CONTINUUM and the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) FLOWING is ONE THING while the WHORLINGS aka CONDENSATIONS, are only LOCAL and EXPLICIT IN APPEARANCE which a COMPELLING REASON for NOT DESIGNING A LANGUAGE that builds in a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE for BEING. As Schroedinger reminds us, BEING is only APPEARANCE (Schaumkommen).
Our indigenous aboriginal brothers and sisters are saying, in their flow-based language, the equivalent of … “In the transforming landscape wherein there is increasingly more TOWNING that is encroaching on, and shrinking the WILDERNESS so that this new MIX has a growing imbalance in favour of the European-man’s interests which leads to more of the European-man’s constructions at the expense of the loss of Wilderness and loss of four-leggeds and winged and crawling ones”.
This is a TRANSFORMATION that is NOT acknowledged in languages that speak in terms of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods which are UNREAL LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES common to WESTERN CULTURE communications that fail to acknowledge, and which simply DROP IT OUT all mention of the conjugate (to growth, development and production) SHRINKING of Wilderness, the AGING of developments and the CONSUMPTION of that which is PRODUCED, … all of these FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATES contributing … TOGETHER WITH (i.e. IN CONJUGATE RELATION WITH) THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING “GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCTION”, … TO an OVERALL TRANSFORMING, thus exposing the INCOMPLETENESS of the LANGUAGE we are using, the INCOMPLETENESS that DISTORTS all of our positive assertions as to what is going on, as Goedel’s Theorem of the INCOMPLETENESS of all finite logical propositions points out must be the case.
The reference to LEMMINGS in the title of this essay is to point out how we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are moving forward EN MASSE, in pursuit of CONSTRUCTING SOME EXPANSIVE AND WONDERFUL (anthropocentric) LIVING QUARTERS, but there is just ONE WORLD and we are CANNIBALIZING THE WORLD THAT WE ARE AT THE SAME TIME CONSTRUCTING beause we are INCLUDED in that world that we are at the same time EXPLOITING, not realizing that; THE WORLD WE LIVE IN IS NOT SOMETHING SEPARATE FROM OURSELVES.
“The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived. Subject and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken down as a result of recent experience in the physical sciences, for this barrier does not exist.” This is equvalent to what Chief Seattle is saying; i.e. “Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it.”
This PREFACE is a REMINDER that WE ARE INCLUDED IN THE WORLD of our SENSE EXPERIENCE (we are included in the BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM sense, as with STRANDS in a WEB); THE WORLD is NOT SOMETHING SEPARATE THAT IS OURS to EXPLOIT/CONSUME.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have heard PLENTY OF WARNINGS about being on the PATH TO DEEPENING DYSFUNCTION (e.g. Jules Henry’s ‘CULTURE AGAINST MAN’ strongly supported by renowned Psychiatrist Ronald Laing), but MOST OF US do NOT have the CONFIDENCE to depart from the basic traditions of our FAMILY and our CULTURE, … UNLESS, … WE COULD ALL MAKE THE MOVE TOGETHER, which is NOT going to happen. For example;

Eliot studied Eastern religions in detail at Harvard, learning some Sanskrit and some Pali, and soon concluded that “their subtleties make most of the great European philosophers look like schoolboys.” For a young man disillusioned with his banal surroundings and desperate to break away from his family, there was something wonderfully aloof, impersonal and invulnerable about the Buddhist notion of the spirit, free of all attachments and desires. WE ARE MOSTLY ALL PROUD PEOPLE THUMBING OUR NOSE AT APOCRYPHAL PREDICTIONS ABOUT THE PATH OUR WHOLE SOCIO-CULTURAL GROUP IS SAID TO BE PUSHING FORWARD ON.
HOW DID WE “BECOME LEMMINGS COMMITTED TO THIS PILGRIMAGE TO HELL?” Ronald Laing together with Jules Henry have given us the answer;
It is Henry’s contention that in practice education has never been an instrument to free the mind and the spirit of man, but to bind them. We think we want creative children, but what do we want them to create? — ‘If all through school the young were provoked to question the Ten Commandments, the sanctity of revealed religion, the foundations of patriotism, the profit motive, the two party system, monogamy, the laws of incest, and so on … — there would be such creativity that society would not know where to turn. … Children do not give up their innate imagination, curiousity, dreaminess easily. You have to love them to get them to do that. Love is the path through permissiveness to discipline; and through discipline, only too often, to betrayal of self.” R. D. Laing
TO IGNORE OR NOT TO IGNORE???
In my philosophical investigations, I have come around to Laing and Henry’s mode of understanding, not strictly from their works, which have made sense to me, but by way of the Modern physics works of David Bohm and others amongst whom I would give special mention to the amazing work of Erich Jantsch with his THREE LEVELS OF AWARENESS, which I frequently cite.

Dr. Erich Jantsch has been described as an astrophysicist, an author, a businessman, an astronomer, a conservationist, a consultant, an engineer, an evolutionary theorist, a forecaster, a futurologist, a humanist, a lecturer, a music critic, a philosopher, a physicist, a scientist, an urban planner, founder of the ‘big history’ concept’, a pioneer in systems and futures thinking, and one of the six founding members of the Club of Rome. His books and publications range from technological forecasting to evolution. In particular, his last book, The Self-Organizing Universe, has been influential in the interdisciplinary fields of biomimicry, holism, co-evolution, and self-organization. He was an occasional advisor to about twenty governments, several international organizations, and research institutions. This book, The Quiet Ganesh, is the start of a biography of this expansive man.
I have no idea ‘what happened’ to Erich Jantsch, but I keep a copy of his 1973 Presentation at the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE UNITY OF THE SCIENCES in Tokyo entitled “TRANSEXPERIENTIAL INQUIRY”. I don’t like his choice of title because it OBSCURES his straightforward exposition on how we make use of THREE LEVELS OF AWARENESS and this really strikes a chord in my own life experience grounded understanding, and presumably does the same for others who become familiar with Jantsch’s philosophical investigative findings.
READING JANTSCH’S THREE LEVELS OF AWARENESS ANSWERS MANY QUESTIONS REGARDING SOCIAL-RELATIONAL FRAGMENTATION IN WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES.
The VERY FACT that we, …any of us, … can get LOCKED IN to one or other of those LEVELS OF AWARENESS explains MUCH about the DYSFUNCTION in our WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMIC that has been catalogued by psychologists and anthropologists such as Ronald Laing, Jules Henry and Ernest Becker. Jantsch’s THREE LEVELS of AWARENESS EXPLAIN the divisions between CONSERVATIVES and LIBERALS and EXPLAIN also, the DIVISION between WESTERN CULTURE and INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE. I can ad lib a quickie definition of the THREE LEVELS to show how we (the overall social collective) can become DIVIDED by a focus on one or the other of the TWO LOWEST LEVELS OF AWARENESS. The HIGHEST LEVEL 1 of the 3 LEVELS is actually an INTEGRATION of levels 2 and 3 while level 2 includes within it level 3.
LEVEL 1 WARENESS is like the indigenous aboriginal understanding that ‘everything is related’ as is the case with the ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.
LEVEL 2 AWARENESS is like the LIBERAL understanding wherein we acknowledge that all Nations are in the world dynamic together, hence COOPERATION makes sense.
LEVEL 3 AWARENESS is like the CONSERVATIVE ‘survival of the fittest’ understanding wherein COMPETING TO WIN will cultivate strong/capable individuals.
As we know, we tend to get stuck in AWARENESS LEVELS 3 (CONSERVATIVE) and AWARENESS LEVEL 2 (LIBERAL) and this happens because we are using TOO SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM in which case we can get split into TWO POLAR OPPOSITE GROUPS because of our having TWO POLAR OPPOSITE VIEWS on issues wherein THERE IS NO COMMON GROUND due to the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.
AWARENESS LEVEL 1 (TRANSFORMATION), because we get to it with LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, reaches an understanding that BINARY LOGIC cannot take us to because BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM can only support EITHER/OR combinations such as MATTER and EMPTY SPACE (the ‘excluded medium’) while NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM supports BOTH/AND combinations such as CONDENSATIONS and ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM. The DYNAMIC in this case is TRANSFORMATION wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX and where RELATIONAL FORMS in the FLOW ARE “BOTH” THEMSELVES and the “FLOW” they share inclusion in.
SO, LEVEL 1 AWARENESS CAN ONLY BE REACHED WITH NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM wherein EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as with CONDENSATIONS in the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM wherein the CONDENSATIONS are “BOTH” themselves “AND” the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.
For those who insist on STICKING WITH BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM, there is NO ACCESS TO LEVEL 1 AWARENESS. WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE TO “LET GO OF” BINARY LOGIC IN ORDER TO ‘MOVE ON’ the HIGHEST AWARENESS LEVEL (TRANSFORMATIVE LEVEL).
NOTA BÉNÉ! Indigenous aboriginals DO NOT HAVE TO LET GO OF LEVEL 2 and 3 AWARENESS (BINARY LOGIC BASED LEVELS OF AWARENESS) because indigenous aboriginals have never FALLEN INTO THE HABIT OF USING BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM since that HABIT WAS NEVER PART OF INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT.
As the Anishinabe say, in the real world of our sense-experience, there is no place for BINARY LOGIC, which in WESTERN CULTURE is the source of DIVISION and FRAGMENTATION;
“At the core of our spiritual beings we make no artificial distinction between the sacred and the profane. Unlike Western culture, we have not suffered through that artificial separation”
According to Tomoko Masuzawa, any cosmology without a sacred–profane binary was rendered invisible by the field of religious studies, privileging Christianity [and Islam and Judaism] at the expense of non-Christian systems because the binary was supposed to be “universal”, –Wikipedia
The fact is that the FRAGMENTATION and BLOCKING OUT OF AWARENESS LEVEL 1 (TRANSFORMATION) that comes with LIMITING ACCESS TO AWARENESS LEVELS 3 and 2 ONLY, … is NOT SOMETHING that AFFLICTS or HAS AFFLICTED indigenous aboriginals; i.e. “At the core of our spiritual beings we make no artificial distinction between the sacred and the profane. Unlike Western culture, we have not suffered through that artificial separation”.
In other words, for people who GROW UP with the UNDERSTANDING that EVERYTHING IS RELATED, in the sense of INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as is the case with CONDENSATIONS in an ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, and/or STRANDS IN A WEB, such a people (i.e. indigenous aboriginals) NEVER PROJECT THE BINARY “GOOD AND EVIL” (SACRED AND PROFANE) DIVISION ON SITUATIONS ARISING IN THEIR SENSE-EXPERIENCE INFORMED WORLD. OF COURSE THERE IS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF STRIFE AND VIOLENCE, but ONLY IN THE CONTEXT OF RELATIONAL HARMONY and RELATIONAL DISSONANCE, which are NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) phenomena rather that LOCAL and EXPLICIT as is the case with THIS LOCAL, EXPLICIT THING RIGHT HERE IS EVIL (or GOOD). IN A TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, THERE IS ONLY THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT (relational) and THERE IS NO LOCAL and EXPLICIT, there is DANCES WITH WOLVES which is a relational form within the transforming relational continuum, but there is NO JOHN DUNBAR as described in LOCAL, EXPLICIT TERMS BY “HIS PARTS”
BINARY LOGIC is “EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM” where “HUMANS” are INDEPENDENT beings in empty space that we know by their material components.

You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. NONBINARY LOGIC is relational and WITHOUT DEPENDENCY ON ‘THINGS’, and we use it to come to understand things PURELY by way of relations. Geoffrey Chew is a Modern physics researcher and he describes ‘BOOTSTRAPPING’ (building understanding up solely from relations), as follows;
[Geoffrey Chew]: “when you formulate a question, you have to have some basic concepts that you are accepting in order to formulate the question. But in the bootstrap approach, where the whole system represents a network of relationships without any firm foundation, the description of subject can be begun at a great variety of different places. There isn’t any clear starting point. And the way our theory has developed in the last few years, we quite typically don’t know what questions to ask. We use consistency as the guide, and each increase in the consistency suggests something that is incomplete, but it rarely takes the form of a well-defined question. We are going beyond the whole question-and-answer framework’.
BOOTSTRAPPING is a Modern physics version of getting to a STRAND-IN-THE-WEB based understanding. Schroedinger articulates the Modern physics version while Chief Seattle repeats the same understanding; “The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived. Subject and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken down as a result of recent experience in the physical sciences, for this barrier does not exist.” This is an alternative re-statement of the indigenous aboriginal “Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it.”
Whether we understand ourselves to be STRANDS in a WEB or CONDENSATIONS in a PLENUM (wave-field), we are using the NONBINARY, BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM.

OK, the QUESTION WAS AND IS; WHY WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS STAY ON THE LEMMING LEAP PATH.
So, just to refresh the memory;

I was lucky enough to have parents who, while they held Christian beliefs, were quite tolerant, in which case, it was possible to probe different ways of thinking without the risk of a familial crucifixion. One of those “different ways of thinking” has been the LEVEL 1 AWARENESS of reality, of Erich Jantsch’s THREE LEVELS of AWARENESS, and LEVEL 1 AWARENESS INFORMS US OF OUR INCLUSION WITHIN THE ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD aka TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.
This is supported by NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which happens to be the foundational logic in Modern physics as well as the standard logic of indigenous aboriginals. In physics terms, this LEVEL 1 AWARENESS is supported by LOGIC given by the relationship between the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM and CONDENSATIONS of the PLENUM. This BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (wherein the CONDENSATIONS are “BOTH” ‘themselves’ “AND” at the same time, the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM they are included in. THIS MEANS THAT ALL MATERIAL FORMS (CONDENSATIONS) are INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT by virtue of being INCLUSIONS WITHIN the all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM. This is the LEVEL 1 AWARE understanding of our SENSE-EXPERIENCE affirmed INCLUSION as INDIVIDUAL STRANDS in a WEB wherein we are included in something greater than ourselves (the WEB is GREATER THAN the STRAND just as the PLENUM is GREATER than the CONDENSATION), recalling Chief Seattle’s reminder to us that “Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it.” in which case, PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE which is based on IDENTIFYING and REMOVING (or INCARCERATING) LOCAL AUTHORS OF VIOLENT or BAD BEHAVIOURS is MISPLACED being that it is IMPOSSIBLE to identify the “LOCAL AUTHOR” of events within a “STRANDS IN THE WEB DYNAMIC” where the LOCAL, EXPLICIT STRANDS ARE NOT THE AUTHORS OF THEIR MOVEMENTS sincethe actions of a STRAND are SOURCED from the WEB DYNAMIC they are included in and ARE NOT ACTIONS THAT ARE LOCALLY AUTHORED BY THE STRAND.
THIS WEB BASED AMBIGUATION OF THE LOCAL AUTHORING SOURCE EMERGES WHEN WE HAVE A STRAND-IN-THE-WEB RELATION WHERE THE STRANDS ARE INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT, but what about where the STRANDS are understood as LOCAL, EXPLICIT and INDEPENDENT and RESIDING WITHIN an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE?
In that case the VIOLENT STRAND is FULLY AND SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN VIOLENCE AND THE INJURY IT CAUSES; i.e. in THAT CASE, WESTERN PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE IS SUPPORTED where the IDENTIFIED AUTHOR OF VIOLENT ACTION is “WHERE THE BUCK STOPS”

That kind of direct, local and explicit authorship implies a BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM based scenario wherein the action agent is an INDEPENDENT BEING that is the FULL and SOLE AUTHOR of his ACTIONS and their development. That BINARY LOGIC based LOCAL AUTHORING ABSTRACTION is the CREATION of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, AND IT IS “AT ODDS WITH THE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM” where we no longer have, as in the BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM, two separate and opposite things such as a MATERIAL OBJECT and an EMPTY SPACE. The NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM supports the understanding that the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING AGENT … IS CLUDED WITHIN, …. THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING MEDIUM in the same sense that the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING WHORLING is INCLUDED WITHIN the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING FLOWING, in which case the WHORLING aspect of the WHORLING IN THE FLOWING …IS ONLY “APPEARANCE” (Schaumkommen, Schroedinger) while the FLOWING is the REAL THING. Indigenous aboriginals have GOT THIS RIGHT in the sense that the ACTIONS of the STRAND in the STRAND-IN-THE-WEB DYNAMIC are only “APPEARANCE” in which case we cannot BLAME the STRAND for “ITS VIOLENCE” since the STRAND is like the IDENTIFIED PATIENT that tends to be SCAPEGOATED for outbursts of VIOLENCE that BELONG TO THE WEB (the SOCIAL COLLECTIVE).

THERE IS NO ESCAPE FOR CONSERVATIVES and LIBERALS FROM THE UNRESOLVABLE ANTAGONISM UNLESS AND UNTIL THERE IS A RE-TOOLING OF LOGIC FROM SIMPLEB BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM, which is the source of the NON-RESOLVABLE POLARIZING DIFFERENCE IN UNDERSTANDING, TO LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM.
THIS NEEDED RE-TOOLING of LOGIC” is EQUIVALENT to the PASSAGE to LEVEL 1 AWARENESS which lies BEYOND THE SIMPLE DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based notion of LOCAL AUTHORING which comes in TWO FLAVOURS, the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING as where the HURRICANE STIRS UP THE ATMOSPHERE, and the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING as where the ATMOSPHERE STIRS UP THE HURRICANE. There are AWARENESS LEVELS 3 and 2. AWARENESS LEVEL 1 is where we have to LET GO OF OUR FOCUS ON THESE TWO OPTIONS THAT WE CAN IMAGINE OBSERVING OUT THERE IN FRONT OF US, and instead get in touch with the SOLAR IRRADIANCE IN WHICH WE ARE INCLUDED, A SOLAR IRRADIANCE that is the MOTHER of BOTH the HIGH PRESSURE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING HURRICANE that STIRS UP THE ATMOSPHERE (AWARENESS LEVEL 3), and the LOW PRESSURE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING ATMOSPHERE that STIRS UP THE HURRICANE (AWARENESS LEVEL 2). The SOLAR IRRADIANCE IS ALL-INCLUDING, IT IS NOT ‘OUT THERE’ and SEPARATE FROM OURSELVES such as the LEVEL 3 and LEVEL 2 AWARENESSES.
The DIFFICULTY For us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS to LOCK ON TO THE LEVEL 1 AWARENESS, wherein WE ARE INCLUDED WITHIN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, IS THAT WE MUST FIRST “LET GO” OF THE (EGO-BASED) NOTION THAT WE HAVE OUR OWN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING, EITHER in the LEVEL 3 AWARENESS wherein we are like HURRICANES which are a MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING SOURCE, or in the level 2 AWARENESS wherein we are like the ATMOSPHERE which is a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SOURCE. These TWO understandings are ANTHROPOMORPHISMS, the level 3 AWARENESS is a MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ANTHROPOMORPHISM and the level 2 AWARENESS is a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING ANTHROPOMORPHISM. The LEVEL 1 AWARENESS is where we “BECOME” the TRANSFORMATION we share INCLUSION IN; i.e. we “BECOME ONE WITH EVERYTHING”, as with STRANDS IN THE WEB, wherein where there is an outburst of VIOLENCE , THERE IS NO RESPONSIBLE “LOCAL AUTHOR” since the authoring is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, and ALL-INCLUDING as with the STRAND IN THE WEB.
The REMEDY FOR STRIFE WITHIN A SYSTEM OF STRANDS IN A WEB CANNOT BE PURIFICATIONIST ELIMINATION OF THE AUTHORING SOURCE OF VIOLENCE SINCE THE SOURCE IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) and must instead be RESTORATIVE.
IN this case, EVENTS are NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT rather than LOCAL and EXPLICIT and NOT ONLY IS THERE A DROPPING OUT OF THE PRACTICE OF HOLDING THE VIOLENT STRAND IN THE WEB TO BE AN ‘INDEPENDENT BEING’ that is FULLY AND SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS, but there is ALSO a DROPPING OUT of the PRACTICE of ATTRIBUTING GOOD ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS to an “INDEPENDENT BEING” that is FULLY and SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT. IN this LEVEL 1 AWARENESS, the source of unfolding events is understood as NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT rather than LOCAL and EXPLICIT, in which case BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM is replaced by the NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in which the CONDENSATIONS are SECONDARY to the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM from which they precipitated.
In the STRAND IN THE WEB operation, there can be NO ATTRIBUTION OF ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS, GOOD OR BAD, TO ANY LOCAL AUTHOR (local authoring is ‘appearance’) IN WHICH CASE THE ORIGINS OF ACTIONS ARE BY WAY OF TRANSFORMATION (recalling that material forms are condensations of the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM and cannot be candidates for local authoring other than by ‘appearance’.)
