THE FALL FROM GRACE: in the light of QUANTUM LOGIC versus BINARY LOGIC

INTRODUCTION:  The ‘FALL FROM GRACE’ NEVER HAPPENED FOR the Indigenous aboriginals because they never made the DROP-DOWN shift from QUANTUM LOGIC to BINARY LOGIC as WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have done. DROP-DOWN comes with the DROPPING OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE of the WAVE-FIELD which leaves only the MALE ASSERTING AGENCY as has been made the FOUNDATION of WESTERN CULTURE Common Average European LANGUAGES.    This is equivalent to LIMITING AUTHORING to the MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATE ONLY which now has only the BINARY LOGIC options of EITHER ‘up’ OR ‘down’ but without the BOTH ‘in’ AND ‘out’ of QUANTUM LOGIC.

Does the HURRICANE stir up the ATMOSPHERE (male asserting) or does the ATMOSPHERE stir up the HURRICANE (female induction)?  NEITHER of these two BINARY LOGIC representations explains what is going on here. SOLAR IRRADIANCE is a WAVE-FIELD (androgynous) that is QUANTUM LOGIC based and explains both of the flat-space polar opposite dynamics.

BINARY LOGIC lets us speak in terms of the INCREASE or DECREASE of the one-sided MALE ASSERTING dynamics of ACTION, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION but is MISSING the inner-outer dimension of ACCOMMODATING or DISACCOMMODATING.  Thus we can speak in MALE ASSERTING terms of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of products etc. which says nothing about the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING dynamic where, for example, there is SHRINKAGE of the WILDERNESS in CONJUGATE relation with the GROWTH of CULTIVATION of land, these two together constituting TRANSFORMATION of the overall LANDSCAPE.

The FALL FROM GRACE is to lose touch with one’s sense of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum and become intellectually conscious of, and LOCKED IN to the BINARY LOGIC notions of GOOD and BAD. Once the graceful youth becomes INTELLECTUALLY focused on there being GOOD (graceful) and BAD (clumsy) ways of moving one’s body (i.e. GOOD: the aesthetically pleasing way as with birds in flight etc., and BAD: the awkward way coming from the intellectual calculations of the internal intellect which are “deliberate” and calculated and DISCONNECTED from one’s sense-experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum), the movement is going to be intellectually contrived and coming from the individual himself, rather than from the transforming relational continuum as in ‘skating to where the puck is going to be’.

In WESTERN CULTURE social collectives, in particular, people are bombarded with intellectual advice advising us to do things this way or that WITHOUT CARING ABOUT OUR UNIQUE AND PARTICULAR SITUATIONAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN A RELATIONAL WEB OF INFLUENCES, a consciousness and sensitivity of which as in taking one’s place in the natural scheme of things is the source of GRACE.  Once one puts INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION into an unnatural primacy over one’s sense-experience of situational inclusion in the transforming relational continuum, one undergoes a FALL FROM GRACE’.

If we were users of the indigenous aboriginal languages our speech would form language based REPRESENTATIONS, for example, in terms of TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, … but as WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, we employ a different kind of language where our language-based REPRESENTATIONS are in terms of ‘the TOWN that is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products’.  This latter WESTERN CULTURE linguistic representation gives the sense of a LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHOR of actions and development wherein the former indigenous aboriginal (and Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta linguistic representation gives the sense of NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) AUTHORING.

The FALL FROM GRACE alludes to the coming of SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS aka EGO, …. and it comes through LANGUAGE and the ability of LANGUAGE to construct MECHANISTIC REPRESENTATIONS OF REALITY (i.e. of a mechanistic SUBSTITUTE REALITY) in which the connective substance of the SPATIAL PLENUM aka the WAVE-FIELD is DENIED IN WESTERN CULTURE simply because it is INVISIBLE and a NEW SUBSTITUTE REALITY IS CONSTRUCTED WITH LANGUAGE that is GROUNDED in MATERIAL OBJECTS with GRAMMAR-given POWERS of AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, hence the WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC representation; ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products’, …. as contrasted with the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL QUANTUM LOGIC representation; “there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.

WE CAN IMAGINE how the mind shifts from this NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT sense of self in the QUANTUM LOGIC terms where we see ourselves and material forms in general as CONDENSATIONS in the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD, … to the very different LOCAL and EXPLICIT sense of self in the BINARY LOGIC terms where we see ourselves and material forms in general as INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BODIES in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT.

Now we inherit what Pre-Socratic philosophers refer to as THE BURDEN OF CONCRETENESS because so long as there a fluid continuum or energy-charged PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD in which we are relational forms, our movements are part of the overall transformation and while we are CO-AUTHORS of the transformation, we are NOT INDEPENDENT but INNATELY INTER-DEPENDENT in the manner of WHORLING in FLUID FLOWING.

It is the same as where we are participants in freeway traffic and, by our relative movements, participate in the forming and transforming of relational conduits, the opening of navigable channels that inductively inspire our male asserting actions.

Although our WESTERN CULTURE language architecture is designed so as to construct representations based on MALE ASSERTING ACTIONS, what goes UNSTATED is that these MALE ASSERTING ACTIONS are SECONDARY to the TRANSFORMING OPENINGS OF RELATIONAL CONDUITS that INDUCTIVELY organize the MALE ASSERTING ACTIONS.   This is in the same sense as the FEMALE VALLEY organizes the flow of runoff water, pulling the rivulets into streams and the streams into a RAGING RIVER that we than claim is the AUTHOR of ploughing out the furrow or canyon, BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT THE VALLEY SEDUCED THE ORGANIZING OF RIVULETS INTO STREAMS AND STREAMS INTO RAGING RIVER, so that it is only LANGUAGE and GRAMMAR that INVERTS the natural primacy of FEMALE ACCOMMODATING over MALE ASSERTING and creates a linguistic SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein MALE ASSERTING is presented as the PRIMARY AGENCY rather than the SECONDARY AGENCY IT ACTUALLY IS.

WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATIONS OF REALITY ARE THUS UPSIDE DOWN and BINARY LOGIC based.  The BINARY LOGIC comes to the fore when we SUBSTITUTE REMPTY SPACE for the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING (SEDUCTIVE) ROLE of the VALLEY.  Our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE speaks in the MALE ASSERTING TERMS of how the AVALANCHE crashes down and spills into the valley WITHOUT MENTIONING THE HOLE IN THE MOUNTAIN, THE OPENING UP OF WHICH WAS THE SOURCE OF THE LIBERATED MATERIAL OF THE AVALANCHE.

In our understanding of space as a PLENUM, we cannot treat the avalanche as some separate thing-in-itself since it is included in the PLENUM as the MALE ASSERTING CONJUGATE that comes together with the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING VALLEY, these two moving within a conjugate relation that is understood overall, as TRANFORMATION OF THE LANDSCAPE.

TRANSFORMATION IS THE SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMABLE REALITY.  MALE ASSERTING ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT IS ABSTRACTION BORN OF THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING and GRAMMAR; e.g. ‘the TOWN is GROWING’.  NO, NO, NO!  THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, … AS IS THE equivalent LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATION IN THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE.

WHAT WE ARE BUMPING INTO HERE IS A PARTICULAR CHALLENGE IN CAPTURING SENSE EXPERIENCE OF INCLUSION IN THE WAVE-FIELD IN THE RATIONAL-INTELLECTUAL TERMS OF LANGUAGE.  HOW DO WE GET FROM THE NONLOCAL, IMPLICIT, ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE OF INCLUSION THEREIN, TO THE LOCAL, EXPLICIT FRAGMENTS OF LINGUISTIC DISCOURSE?

In the discussion in “On the Marionette Theatre” by Heinrich von Kleist, we can see where the sentient form shifts from the nonlocal, relational FEMALE ACCOMMODATING feature in the transforming relational continuum to the intellectually abstracted MALE ASSERTING AGENT.  The OPENING OF THE VALLEY may induce the AVALANCHE but when we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS put that into words in our language architecture, which is based on the BINARY LOGIC combination of MATERIAL OBJECTS and EMPTY SPACE, the natural primacy of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING OPENING OF THE VALLEY is lost in the shuffle and we come forth in our language representation with a one-sided MALE ASSERTING ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATION.  How do these FEMALE ACCOMMODATING and MALE ASSERTING REPRESENTATIONS RECONCILE?  HOW DOES THIS RELATE TO THE ‘FALL FROM GRACE’?

“Now, my excellent friend,” said my companion, “you are in possession of all you need to follow my argument. We see that in the organic world, as thought grows dimmer and weaker, grace emerges more brilliantly and decisively. But just as a section drawn through two lines suddenly reappears on the other side after passing through infinity, or as the image in a concave mirror turns up again right in front of us after dwindling into the distance, so grace itself returns when knowledge has as it were gone through an infinity. Grace appears most purely in that human form which either has no consciousness or an infinite consciousness. That is, in the puppet or in the god.”  —“On the Marionette Theatre” by Heinrich von Kleist

In Von Kleist’s story, we are introduced to several anecdotal cases where there is a FALL FROM GRACE, as where the naturally graceful handsome young male develops a self-consciousness that makes his once graceful movements stilted and awkward.

In Christian writings, we have the story of ADAM and EVE and the DEVIL as a serpent that lures them into a FALLING OUT of that STATE OF GRACE whereupon the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT give way to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.

This self-conscious deliberateness gives rise to FRAGMENTATION wherein the relational continuum breaks into a plethora of independent parts, first by LANGUAGE and then by language-stimulated intellectual conceptualization.   Instead of the TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, we have ‘the TOWN that is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING products, all within a notional ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT.  This is abstraction that MAKES POSSIBLE (in the language-stimulated intellectualizing mind) the LOCAL AUTHORING CAPABILITY of the NAMING INSTANTIATED MATERIAL OBJECT that notionally resides within the ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT.

We evidently have a choice of differing ways of thinking of, representing and linguistically expressing our thoughts; e.g. in terms of the nonlocal and implicit (quantum logic), and also in terms of the local and explicit (binary logic) and the FALL FROM GRACE suggests our GETTING STUCK in the LOCAL AND EXPLICIT (BINARY LOGIC) mode and being UNABLE to find our way back to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (QUANTUM LOGIC) balance mode as was the experience of the graceful youth in Von Kleist’s story who became self-conscious, losing his handsome demeanor and becoming so caught up in awareness of ‘his own movements’ that he was no longer able to fall into harmony with the relational unfolding he was situationally included in.

PERHAPS THIS IS THE CURSE OF WESTERN CULTURE IN ITS FORMALIZED MODE!

As Vygotsky (‘Thought and Language’) has shown, in contradicting the view of Piaget, the spontaneous/implicit and the deliberate/explicit are conjugate aspects of ONE (WAVE-FIELD) system.  Piaget’s view follows the general WESTERN CULTURE VIEW which considers the LOCAL and EXPLICIT representation to be sufficient.  This has become the ‘operative attitude’ in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE AND THOUGHT DYNAMICS and it is the SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION and mistaken belief in the abstract concepts of BEING and LOCAL AUTHORING.

In other words, the UNITY of BOTH the SPONTANEOUS/IMPLICIT (FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE) AND the SCIENTIFIC/EXPLICIT (MALE-ASSERTING CONJUGATE) in a seamless ANDROGYNOUS UNION is the basic WAVE-FIELD nature of reality and it is only our LANGUAGE based attempt at REPRESENTATION wherein we “RESORT TO” the SPLITTING into the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING and the MALE ASSERTING.

Bohm’s ‘Rheomode’ and the indigenous aboriginal languages ACKNOWLEDGE the ANDROGYNOUS UNION of FEMALE AND MALE in WAVE-FIELD reality and Bohm’s WARNING on FRAGMENTATION points IMPLICITLY to PIAGET’S MISTAKE, the mistake incorporated in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE IN GENERAL, of the DROP-OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE in our WESTERN CULTURE Common Average European language architecture and the SUBSTITUTING OF ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.

The title THE FALL FROM GRACE: in the light of QUANTUM LOGIC versus BINARY LOGIC was chosen to reflect the fact that QUANTUM LOGIC avoids falling into the BINARY LOGIC TRAP of FRAGMENTATION and while QUANTUM LOGIC is the standard logic of indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents, BINARY LOGIC is the standard log of WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS and IT IS LOCKED IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS because it is BINARY LOGIC that supports the abstract sense of INDEPENDENT BEING and also LOCAL AUTHORING and we know that in WESTERN CULTURE, there is a common belief in the EGO-INFLATION notion of LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.

But, as Nietzsche has shown, this notion of LOCAL AUTHORING is ABSTRACTION that derives from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR and while it INFECTS us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, it does not infect INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents who have retained the QUANTUM LOGIC based understanding, the BOTH/AND logic of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which describes the situation of the all-including WAVE-FIELD in which material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the WAVE-FIELD and thus included in the overall UNITY of the all-including PLENUM while at the same time having a DISTINGUISHABLE APPEARANCE.

The mistake of WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS has been to employ BINARY LOGIC which ABSOLUTIZES what is a DIFFERENCE IN APPEARANCE, recasting it in terms of INDEPENDENT EXISTENCE, an act akin to DIFERENIATION in mathematical calculus where a distinguishable difference is popped out as a LOCAL EXPLICIT THING-IN-ITSELF.

SPACE AS AN ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM which includes MATERIAL CONDENSATIONS is the QUANTUM LOGIC understanding NOT ONLY of Modern physics, but using different language with the same relational inference, the understanding of reality of INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents.

BINARY LOGIC lets us understand space as a HOLLOW CONTAINER that is inhabited EITHER by emptiness OR by material forms, so that by using BINARY LOGIC in our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, we create representations wherein there is EITHER empty space OR material presence where we can picture independent material forms that are moving about and interacting within an absolute empty and infinite containing space.  BINARY LOGIC supports the notion of INDEPENDENT BEINGS and LOCAL AUTHORS of actions and developments.

QUANTUM LOGIC lets understand space as an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM that is ‘pock-marked’ with MATERIAL CONDENSATIONS that never ‘individuate’ or ‘separate’ from the PLENUM but remain as inclusions within the transforming relational continuum.  QUANTUM LOGIC supports the understanding reality as a relational continuum wherein relational forms are INTERDEPENDENT.  This is very different from the BINARY LOGIC conceptualizing of reality as has been pointed out by the systems sciences.

SYSTEMS SCIENCES QUANTUM LOGIC VIEW OF SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY:  The following quote comes in the form of a CRITIQUE of the common WESTERN CULTURE casting of reality in the FRAGMENTED terms of a collection of INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEINGS which, having determined that the world is composed of INDEPENDENT PARTS, splits into competitive teams, each single-mindedly INTENT on OPTIMIZING “THEIR INDEPENDENT PART” as describes the process of SUBOPTIMIZATION which of course depends on the PARTS being INDEPENDENT, otherwise the IMPROVEMENT of one part will be at the expense of the DETERIORATION of other parts.  SUBOPTIMIZATION IS THE FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLE IN SUPPORT OF DECLARING INDEPENDENCE OF THE WORLD’S 195 NATIONS.

“The above aphorism (The Name of the Devil is Suboptimization’), attributed to Kenneth Boulding, points to the inherent weakness characterizing the mindset and socio‐economic, political, educational and managerial practices of Western Industrial society as it developed over the past 300 years. It has its basis in the analytic‐reductionist scientific paradigm, which, despite the remarkable technological applications it spawned, is inappropriate, conflict‐generating and dysfunctional in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence …” — György Jaros and Martine Dodds-Taljaard  (International Society of Systems Sciences)

Our natural senses reaffirm, as also the animals and birds and rivers do, “we live in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence.

It is ONLY WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS who have pretended that it is possible to divide up the world with imaginary line boundaries, declaring the INDEPENDENCE of each imaginary line bounded box, and then proceeding to embark on a program of SUBOPTIMIZATION based on COMPETITION (note that COMPETITION among ‘independent nations’ MAKES NO SENSE in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence.

AS FAR AS INDEPENDENT NATIONS AND THEIR ‘COMPETITION’ GOES;

They are playing a game.  They are playing at not playing a game.  If I show them I see they are, I shall break the rules and they will punish me.  I must play their game, of not seeing I see the game.”       D. Laing

THE TRUTH IS; … “we live in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence.

WHY WOULD WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES?

WHY WOULD WE DO THIS FRAGMENTATION WHICH AS BOHM NOTES IS GENERATING, ON A WESTERN CULTURE COLLECTIVE SCALE, SHIZOPHRENIA AND PARANOIA?

However, we put ourselves into this mess, and EGO is a good guess because the stage is set for EGO INFLATION by the BINARY LOGIC based DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR where we set ourselves and other things up as LOCAL AUTHORS OF ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS even though it is impossible to discredit our sense experience awareness of our inclusion within the all-including transforming relational continuum as affirmed by Modern physics as well as by sense-experience.

WE are playing a game.  WE are playing at not playing a game.  If WE show OURSELVES that WE see WE are, WE shall break the rules and WE will have to punish OURSELVES.  WE must play OUR game, of not seeing WE see the game.”   

This GAME is the GAME of using language to NAME and thus impute BEING to relational forms in the transforming relational continuum such as HUMANINGS and TOWNINGS and conflating that FIRST ERROR with the SECOND ERROR of GRAMMAR to impute to the NAMING-instantiated BEING THINGS, their own notional POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON IN THIS, THE FALL FROM GRACE: in the light of QUANTUM LOGIC versus BINARY LOGIC

How about REWARDS and PUNISHMENTS.  Once we set up the BINARY LOGIC notion of NAMING-instantiated INDEPENDENT BEINGS, notionally with “their own” GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, we have in effect DISMANTLED the natural dynamic of relational resonance and dissonance which is a QUANTUM LOGIC BALANCING basis of rewards and discouragements.  The having FALLEN FROM GRACE substitutes for relational resonance and dissonance BALANCING are REWARDS AND PUNISHMENTS which are INTELLECTUALLY DESIGNED AND APPLIED and the basis of assuming that people are INDEPENDENT BEINGS with their own LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS.

A systems of LAWS DEFINING what are GOOD and BAD BEHAVIOURS must therefore be developed and another burdensome part of this FALL FROM GRACE, which the indigenous aboriginals avoided.

BY NOT HAVING IMPOSED THE LANGUAGE BASED DEFINITION OF INDEPENDENT BEING, THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS were able to remain inclusions in the transforming relational continuum without having to shoulder the BURDEN OF CONCRETENESS and with it the FALL FROM GRACE.

The INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS notably retained QUANTUM LOGIC as their basic LOGIC and since it is BINARY LOGIC that RE-RENDERS relational forms in the flow INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS in EMPTY SPACE, which sets the stage for the rise of EGO as in LOCAL AUTHORING, BINARY LOGIC is the keystone element in the FALL FROM GRACE, hence the title;
