How Sorcery Persists in the WESTERN CULTURE World View

AUTHOR’S PREFACE:

The term “SORCERY” commonly refers to Magic (supernatural), the application of beliefs, rituals or actions  employed to subdue or manipulate natural or supernatural beings and sorces. —Wikipedia” 

In my philosophical investigations, as in those of others such as Nietzsche, Bohm and Schroedinger, it is EVIDENT that WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE is used to INCORRECTLY impute LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS (i.e. SOURCING POWERS) to figuratively manipulate things so that they are seemingly given life and existence by way of the common ritual of NAMING, along with POWERS of LOCAL SOURCING (unreal) with the “magic” of GRAMMAR.   The NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT influences of the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD are thus re-cast in the form of material BEINGS, notionally endowed with their own POWERS of LOCALLY SOURCING actions and developments.

For example, while the reality is that there is“TOWNING within the fully fluid context of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX”,  in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, in place of acknowledging the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT nature of dynamics, we make the COMMON ERROR of imputing “LOCAL SOURCING” as in the construction of  “the TOWN IS GROWING”, though this LOCAL SOURCING of GROWTH is UNREAL and it falls into the category of ‘human manipulating of natural beings and forces”.

The GROWTH OF THE TOWN is IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT CONJUGATE SHRINKING of the WILDERNESS in which case, THERE IS NO LOCAL SOURCING as in “GROWTH” of something LOCAL and EXPLICIT but TRANSFORMATION that is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

In reality, there are “humanings in the transforming relational continuum aka the energy-charged PLENUM” and there are NO SUCH THINGS as HUMANS that are BEINGS with POWERS OF LOCALLY SOURCING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.  That ERRONEOUS (but common in WESTERN CULTURE) impression is coming from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

In other words, we (WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS) are commonly using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to contrive the impression of LOCAL AUTHORING, and this LOCAL SOURCING has the credentials of SORCERY in that where we say ‘the TOWN is GROWING’‘, we are implying LOCAL SOURCING  of this action and development which is NOT REAL but simply the impression gleaned from our use of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION.  WHAT IS REAL is that …’there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ and there is NO LOCAL SOURCING involved since ‘The TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, being included within the overall TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM’;.

That is, the notion of LOCAL SOURCING derives from the WESTERN CULTURE practice of SIMPLIFYING our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING which we have made DIFFICULT (complicated) upfront by imputing a BINARY LOGIC, MATERIAL BEING-IN-EMPTY-SPACE based FOUNDATION in place of the actual QUANTUM LOGIC ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM with its MATERIAL CONDENSATIONS.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS employ a BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING in our rhetoric; i.e. a DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, that reduces (notionally) the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.

In MODERN PHYSICS as also in indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, THERE IS NO “CONJURING UP”, with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, of LOCAL POWERS OF SOURCING actions and developments as there is in the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIOATIONS of WESTERN CULTURE, and instead, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, as is the nature of the all-including WAVE-FIELD world we live in where material forms are CONDENSINGS in which case THERE IS NO LOCAL SOURCING as is FOUNDATIONAL in COMMON AVERAGE EUROPEAN LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION.

THE WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, in this manner, gives a foundational role to the application of “beliefs and actions employed to manipulate natural beings and forces” by using propositions such as “The TOWN IS GROWING” which, by DROPPING OUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the CONJUGATE SHRINKING of WILDERNESS, impute LOCAL SOURCING POWERS that DO NOT EXIST, to the TOWN.

However which way we DRESS THIS ACTION UP IN WORDS, it is EVIDENT that SOMETHING that LOOKS, SMELLS and TASTES like “SORCERY” lurks within what LINGUACIST BENJAMIN WHORF classifies as COMMON, AVERAGE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE.  As Bohm points out, this IMPUTING of LOCAL SOURCING POWERS to notional NAMING-INSTANTIATED THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with GRAMMAR is the source of FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANISM; i.e. the FRAGMENTATION of using NAMING to IMPUTE INDEPENDENT BEING to NAMING-instantiated TOWNS and the OBSCURANTISM of DROPPING OUT OF OUR MENTAL  ACKNOWLEDGING, the SHRINKING WILDERNESS that is CONJUGATE to the “APPEARANCE” and “GROWING” of “TOWNS”. 

The CONJUGATE RELATION of SHRINKING WILDERNESS and GROWING TOWN is NOT a ‘SIMPLE CONJUGATE RELATION’ as involves the MECHANICS of TWO SEPARATE THINGS, CLINKING into a CONJUGATE RELATION LIKE TWO RAILWAY CARS HOOKING UP TOGETHER, but a COMPLEX AFFILIATION with REAL and IMAGINARY components  where the RESIDENTS OF THE GROWING TOWN are not only AWARE of the INNATE RELATIONAL GATHERING-SCATTERING NATURE of what is better understood in the DYNAMIC TERMS OF ‘TOWNING’ since the developing MATERIAL STRUCTURE is like the ‘the CLUSTER”  or dynamic GATHERING-SCATTERING CLUSTERING of ants induced by some ATTRACTOR such as a DROP OF HONEY or TRADING CENTER. The IMPRESSION of A PERSISTING BEING or LOCAL, EXPLICIT ‘ENVELOPE’ or ‘CLUSTER’ does not OVER-RIDE the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT NATURE of the overall TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE within which the RESONANT RELATIONAL FORM is an “APPEARANCE” within the ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

Here we see the BINARY LOGIC —QUANTUM LOGIC LINGISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING DIFFERENCE that underlies the expression “EAST is EAST and WEST is WEST and NEVER the TWAIN SHALL MEET” (Rudyard Kipling). 

While the “WEST” employs LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that uses SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC such as the PROPOSITION “THE TOWN IS GROWING”, … without acknowledging the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING conjugate”  (i.e. here, there is PERSISTING BEING in the form of a LOCAL EXPLICIT MATERIAL OBJECT (the TOWN) where the LOCAL EXPLICIT MATERIAL OBJECT IS THE ONLY THING “MOVING” or “CHANGING”), … the “EAST” employs LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that is LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC based as with the PROPOSITION “There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”  (i.e. here, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, where theTOWNING is INCLUDED IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”.

By the “WEST” , I am referring to the WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING approach, and by the “EAST”, I am referring to the QUANTUM LOGIC, indigenous aboriginal, Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta QUANTUM LOGIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING approach.

ACHTUNG! … NOTA BENE!…

It is imortant to keep in mind the intrinsic difference between simple BINARY LOGIC in that it “IS NOT CAPABLE” of QUANTUM LOGIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION while QUANTUM LOGIC “IS CAPABLE” of QUANTUM LOGIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION.  This has already been mentioned but it is tricky because it concerns the difference in LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES associated with BINARY LOGIC versus QUANTUM LOGIC; i.e. this example was already given but I am repeating it because it is KEY to understanding how we are using LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that can either DROP OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate or INCLUDE IT.

THE WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, in this manner, gives a foundational role to the application of “beliefs and actions employed to manipulate natural beings and forces” by using propositions such as “The TOWN IS GROWING” which, by DROPPING OUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the CONJUGATE SHRINKING of WILDERNESS, impute LOCAL SOURCING POWERS that DO NOT EXIST, to the TOWN.

Consider the relationship between ‘the TOWN’ and ‘the WILDERNESS’ first of all in a FLAT SPACE WORLD, and then again ini a SPHERICAL SPACE WORLD (the spherical space equates to the WAVE-FIELD).

In the FLAT SPACE, the TOWN can GROW in a one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING manner WITHOUT THERE BEING ANY FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE because that only arises in a SPHERICAL SPACE or WAVE-FIELD.  Thus we are perfectly correct in using the SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING when the TOWN grows on a FLAT PLANE.  CONVERSELY, by USING BINARY LOGIC, WE IMPOSE THE SIMPLE FLAT SPACE CONDITION ON OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS AND THAT IS A MISTAKE BECAUSE WE LIVE IN A WAVE-FIELD WORLD WHICH REQUIRED WAVE-FIELD CAPABLE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION such as in Bohm’s Rheomode language, and in the indigenous aboriginal languages, the Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta use of language (as in the flow-based examples of Zen guru Alan Watts).

When we consider the relationship between ‘the TOWN’ and ‘the WILDERNESS’ in the CURVED SPACE WORLD aka the WAVE-FIELD WORLD, this must included “BOTH” the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE AND the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE, … in their TOGETHER STATE as a “CONIUNCTIO OPPOSITORUM”, they are INVISIBLE.  The material CONDENSATIONS are what we can SEE, yet the WAVE-FIELD is the PRIMARY PHENOMENON.  This is why BEING-based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING DOES NOT WORK (leads to FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANTISM) and why we need a FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME such as the indigenous aboriginal languages.

We could alternatively say, putting on our LANGUAGE ARCHITECT’S HAT, that the LAST THING we need is a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT GIVES A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE TO “MATERIAL BEING” since what we have been thinking of as “MATERIAL BEINGS” are CONDENSATIONS of the WAVE-FIELD such as “TOWNINGS IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”.  By giving “BEING” PRIMARY STATUS as with ‘the TOWN’, we DEMOTE that which is PRIMARY; i.e. the WAVE-FIELD, to exactly NOTHING (absolute empty infinite space), while ELEVATING ‘APPEARANCES’ to PRIMARY REALITY STATUS. 

Thus, while we are SENSE-EXPERIENCING INCLUSION IN THE ALL-INCLUDING, TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, which includes the SHRINKING WILDERNESS together with our growing selves and the growing MATERIAL ‘TOWN’ we say we are constructing, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, thanks to our BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING CHOICE are DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE and EMPLOYING A LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME that is constrained to MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING, hence we use language to report on ‘the TOWN GROWING’ FULL STOP (as if in an absolute empty and infinite space), as if that were ‘REALITY’.

LIKEWISE, NETANYAHU is reporting on ‘HAMAS ATTACKING’ FULL STOP, …as if that cherry-picked one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate linguistic conceptualization constituted ‘REALITY’.

 As Nietzsche pointed out, OUR EUROPEAN LANGUAGES (RUSSIAN INCLUDED) give a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE to the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR which is the ROOT SOURCE of the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION in terms of LOCAL AUTHORING.  Here’s what Nietzsche said about this WESTERN CULTURE PSYCHO-LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING HABIT where we make claims such as I DID IT! … in denial of the physical reality of our being included in something GREATER THAN OURSELVES, a transforming relational continuum WHICH IS LIKE DRIVING IN FREEWAY TRAFFIC where in order to understand the present movement of the vehicles, one would have to know about the stray dog that darted across and set off a long continuing succession of braking, swerving and accelerating that explains the current movements and relations  in the continually transforming traffic configuration.

LIFE IS LIKE THIS.  IT MAKES NO SENSE TO ASK A PARTICULAR DRIVER TO EXPLAIN “HIS” ACTIONS BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “HIS” ACTIONS AS FAR AS “REALITY” GOES, but WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, BECAUSE OF THE BEING BASED STRUCTURE OF WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGES, IMPOSE ON EVERYONE THE ERRONEOUS NOTION THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL IS THE LOCAL AUTHOR OF THEIR OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.  THIS MISREPRESENTATION, which is coming from THE DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING HABIT OF WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, IS A PERSISTING SCREW-UP THAT IS NOT ONLY COMMON PRACTICE BUT PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN ESTABLISHING SOCIAL REWARDS AND PUNISHMENTS.

THE BOGUS CONCEPT OF LOCAL AUTHORING (formerly known as SORCERY) PLAYS A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN MODERN WESTERN CULTURE. IT HAS BEEN LABELLED “THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR” BY NIETZSCHE AND IT HAS US “CLAIMING” AND “BLAMING” AUTHORING RESPONSIBILITY ON AN OVER-SIMPLISTIC BINARY LOGIC EVENT BASIS (X DID IT TO Y) WHEN THE REALITY IS FAR MORE COMPLEX (A DID IT TO B WHO DID IT TO …. WHO DID IT TO Z.

Let’s be UPFRONT; there is a PROBLEM in discussing what we are discussion because of the TOO-SIMPLE SCHEME OF LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS use as our STANDARD for LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING which is the BINARY LOGIC STANDARD which supports the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based LINGUISTIC LOCAL AUTHORING CONCEPTUALIZATIONS.   In spite of the complexity of movement in the STRAY DOG example when CAR 17 and CAR 51 COLLIDE, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, BECAUSE OF OUR SIMPLE LANGUAGE with its BINARY LOGIC NAMING AND GRAMMAR STRUCTURE, SUM THINGS UP IN THE TERMS ‘CAR 17 CRASHED INTO CAR 51.

THIS SIMPLIFYING PROPOSITION IS A REDUCTION FROM QUANTUM LOGIC TO BINARY LOGIC.  QUANTUM LOGIC is the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM while BINARY LOGIC is the EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.  In this example, we can simplify the analysis by BYPASSING the history of the complex ‘crowd’ dynamics which derives from QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM where the CARS are NOT ONLY THEMSELVES (solitary players) BUT ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN A DYNAMIC GREATER THAN THEMSELVES.  BINARY LOGIC is a simpler LOGIC which DROPS OUT consideration of effects of inclusion in the complex medium and ‘focuses solely on’ the TWO CARS THAT COLLIDE, CAR 17 and CAR 51, which greatly SIMPLIFIES the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, reducing it to ‘CAR 17 crashed into CAR 51’ … AS IF THE EVENT OCCURRED IN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT, meaning that one need only consider the actions of the TWO IDENTIFIED PARTICIPANTS in which case; i.e. the BINARY LOGIC CASE, we can make an EITHER/OR CHOICE as to WHICH ONE IS THE AUTHOR (PERPETRATOR) and WHICH ONE IS THE VICTIM.

Notice that in the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC viewing, we can NO LONGER IDENTIFY AN AUTHOR and a FINAL RESULT that, once isolated as a describable OUTCOME, can be JUDGED to be a GOOD OUTCOME or BAD OUTCOME.  The GENERAL CASE is the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC CASE (involving relational balance or imbalance) which is why, in indigenous aboriginal cultures, the response to an ‘outbreak of violence’ as would include a MURDER or a MASS KILLING, there is no “SIMPLIFYING BINARY LOGIC ASSUMPTION” that the AUTHORING is coming from a LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHOR that can be IDENTIFIED on the basis of WHO IS HOLDING THE SMOKING GUN.

The person who is HOLDING THE SMOKING GUN is likely to be the YOUNG HOT-HEAD who is member of the community wherein there are TENSIONS due to “ONGOING” conflict, IN WHICH CASE, the SHOOTER or HOLDER OF THE SMOKING GUN (e.g. the HAMAS MEMBER) IS THE CONDUIT THROUGH WHICH NONLOCAL RELATIONAL TENSIONS ARE FINDING EXPRESSION, where the CONDUIT IS NOT THE ‘AUTHOR’ BUT THE CHANNEL THROUGH WHICH THE TENSIONS ARE FINDING EXPRESSION, and this is where we see the interplay of BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC and QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC.

NOTA BENE: IF THE BINARY LOGIC INQUIRY “COMES FIRST” and we agree to use the EITHER/OR INQUIRY in checking out the members of the community, when it comes to our AGATHA CHRISTIE sleuthing and successfully identifying WHO DID IT, THERE IS COMMONLY (IN WESTERN CULTURE) A SENSE OF ‘FINAL CLOSURE’ which is characteristic of BINARY LOGIC, in this case we could TEST all members of the community (who are possible AUTHORING SOURCES) and eliminate all the NEGATIVES and locate the POSITIVE; i.e. the AUTHOR of the CRIME in the sense of the one HOLDING THE SMOKING GUN which could the HOT HEAD in the TENSIONED UP COMMUNITY who is a CONDUIT for the TENSIONAL ENERGY WHICH PERVADES THE SOCIAL RELATIONAL MATRIX AND PERVADES BOTH SIDES OF A POLARIZED SOCIAL COLLECTIVE SUCH AS WHERE THERE IS A MIX OF ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS WHEREIN THERE ARE CLEARLY LONG-STANDING TENSIONS which are likely to find expression through EXTREMISTS who are the equivalent of ‘sharp points’ in an electrostatically charged configuration where the ZAP from the accumulated tensions (electrical in this example) that have been building.

We know that social collectives have an analogous property of becoming TENSIONED where the more SENSITIVE ‘HOT-HEADS’ become the CHANNELS or CONDUITS FOR THE EXPRESSION OF THE TENSIONAL BUILDUPS.

As in the analogy of freeway traffic messed up by a dog darting across the busy freeway, … while we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION, always identify a BINARY LOGIC PERPETRATOR – VICTIM DUO which renders everyone purportedly NOT INVOLVED in the BINARY LOGIC classification ‘INNOCENT’ as opposed to GUILTY, whether or not those ‘INNOCENTS’ had a large measure of influence in the continuing chao leading up to the LOCAL, EXPLICIT EVENT of the COLLISION.

For the WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT, because of the CULTURAL TRADITION of using BINARY LOGIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, the interpretation will be that CAR 17 crashed into CAR 51 which gives us a PERPETRATOR-VICTIM COMBINATION even though the one labelled the PERPETRATOR or SORCEROR or LOCAL AUTHOR may have had her foot on the brakes and her hands pulling on the wheel in a determined effort to avoid a collision which was coming from a long chain of events going back to the stray dog crossing the freeway.

The REALITY of what ‘WENT ON’ can be understood by considering the overall transforming relational continuum, BUT THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CAPTURE IN A FINITE NUMBER OF WORDS, … and the REDUCTION of such complexity to the BINARY LOGIC basis of PERPETRATOR and VICTIM has become a WESTERN CULTURE HABIT which has been incorporated in the WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE SYSTEM.  Other examples of WESTERN CULTURE’S USE OF SUCH SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION include;

The IDENTIFIED VICTIM in psychology wherein, within a dysfunctional social matrix such as a family, the ‘identified patient’ may take the hit for the dysfunctional family

The MINER’S CANARY example is in the same vein.  The general is the development of a TOXIC ENVIRONMENT or a TENSION-FILLED ENVIRONMENT wherein a SENSITIVE MEMBER ‘SNAPS’ or has a breakdown, TAKING THE HIT FOR THE OVERALL GROUP that is part of the TOXIC ENVIRONMENT, the TOXICITY accumulating and being stored within the relational matrix whereupon the most sensitive are going to EXPLODE, kind of like the kernel of popcorn that explodes first because of the COMINATION of its relative delicateness/sensitivity and its situation based exposure to more or less toxicity.  IN THIS CASE, NO AMOUNT OF INVESTIGATING OF THE CRAZY ‘MINER’S CANARY’ is going to explain its isolated case of strange behaviour, since it derives from the COMBINATION of (a) THE TOXIC ENVIRONMENT, and (b) ITS MORE THAN AVERAGE SENSITIVITY.

The usual WESTERN CULTURE ASSUMPTION is to employ BINARY LOGIC which reduces the physical reality which is QUANTUM LOGIC based which understands that the INHABITANT and the HABITAT are in a “BOTH/AND” relation wherein the INHABITANT is a CONDENSATION of the HABITAT as in the general case which is the WAVE-FIELD CASE where material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD.

OK, if we CHECK OUT what has been said above, it shows that BINARY LOGIC has been used to DUMB DOWN our actual sense-experience grounded reality so that, for example, we don’t bother acknowledging that the person that GOES BONKERS may be GOING BONKERS due to a quantum logic BOTH/AND combination of the sensitivity of the individual and the toxicity of the environment.  Because we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS use BINARY LOGIC based LANGUAGE, our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION applied to the MINER’S CANARY situation of ABERRANT BEHAVIOUR coming from the combined influence of BOTH (a sensitive individual) AND (a toxic environment) which as we know from our former use of CANARIES in mines to sound the alarm by way of their ABERRANT BEHAVIOUR in the presence of a TOXIC ENVIRONMENT.

IN WESTERN CULTURE the average work and living environment IS GETTING TOUGHER AND TOUGHER (more toxic) and more than half the population in the U.S. is taking some sort of ‘mood stabilizing drugs’ and the drug over-dosers are continuing to rise to EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS.  Some psychiatrists are suspicious that this is on the proportion of a PLAGUE.

The MINER’S CANARY understanding is INSTEAD, the understanding that the rising numbers of psychological breakdowns derives from a general rise in TOXICITY of our MODERN WESTERN CULTURE CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENT.  As the PRESSURES OF LIFE, of getting and keeping a job and commuting and enduring high stress office environment are becoming increasingly common while the incident of ‘working down on the farm’ is moving towards extinction.

Jill Astbury’s “Crazy for You: The Making of Women’s Madness” has brought to the surface that the MINER’S CANARY EFFECT IS OPERATIVE in our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT SOCIAL COLLECTIVES; i.e. where the work and living environment IS GROWING MORE STRESSFUL and that IS BRINGING ON AN INCREASING INCIDENCE OF BREAKDOWNS IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES (with the most sensitive ‘miner’s canaries’ being the earliest casualies) in spite of major increases in use of mood stabilizing pharmaceuticals and street drugs.

Because the ‘breakdowns’ are EXCEPTIONS, they are commonly interpreted as being due to SOMETHING WRONG with the person having the breakdown rather than SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT so that more sensitive persons are suffering breakdowns from the RISING TOXICITY OF THE COMMON WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL RELATIONAL ENVIRONMENT, something which Psychiatrist R.D. This is what Bohm is talking about in his treatise on FRAGMENTATION.  What he is describing is a WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMIC wherein the conditions considered NORMAL are growing INCREASINGLY TOXIC, as was also the finding of psychiatrist Ronald Laing in “The Divided Self”, the finding of anthropologist Jules Henry in “Culture Against Man”, and the finding of Ernest Becker expressed in ‘the “Denial of Death”.  

In my own personal experiences of being a visitor in psychiatric hospitals, I had the following exchange with an ‘inmate’ who I happened to meet and have conversations with and who I was fetching coffees from Starbucks for.  She was in the wake of her sixth suicide attempt which this time, had put her into a two week long coma, and she shared the following in one of our conversations;

“Every time, after a few weeks in here, they say I am cured. Sure I am cured, for living in a highly empathic society such as the psychiatric ward tends to be, but I am not cured for going back into society which is a rat race made even tougher by my being marked as a defect and a loser. See, this bus pass is marked ‘handicapped’. I tried to get off handicapped and go on ordinary welfare even though it was $300. less but they wouldn’t let me.” She also expressed the view that society was moving in the opposite direction of ‘more empathy’.

WHY DO WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE QUANTUM LOGIC STRUCTURE OF OUR REALITY LIVING IN A WAVE-FIELD DYNAMIC.  BY OUR USE OF BINARY LOGIC BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, WE SIMPLY SAY THAT ‘PATTI’, the girl in question, has a psychological ILLNESS without any mention of SENSITIVE INDIVIDUALS and TOXIC ENVIRONMENTS since that would take us from SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC (SHE IS SICK) to LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC, THE BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM (environment) where what goes on derives from “BOTH” the inhabitant “AND” the habitat’, in which case to use BINARY LOGIC and say “SHE IS SICK” is dropping out IMPORTANT INFORMATION that comes with QUANTUM LOGIC (the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM) which is informing us that PATTI is a VERY SENSTIVE PERSON who is PERFECTLY FINE IN EMPATHIC ENVIRONMENTS and undergoes a MINER’S CANARY EXPERIENCE in DIFFICULT or ‘TOXIC’ ENVIRONMENTS.

As MODERN PHYSICS TELLS US, and as the indigenous aboriginals, Taosts/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents HAVE KNOWN AND HAVE PUT INTO THEIR LANGUAGE, material forms  ARE CONDENSINGS OF THE WAVE-FIELD THEY ARE INCLUDED IN.  This is what ‘mitakuye oyasin’ means, that everything is related because all ‘things’ are condensations of the one all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD.

WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING supports the notional dualist split of man and nature as in Genesis 1:28 and as incorporated in Western culture through the dualist Hobbesian/Lockean view of man as ‘separate from nature’ and having the power to ‘improve upon nature’ and thus to own and dominate the land; i.e. to domesticate, purify and ‘drain the swamp’ that is ‘nature’ with its wild and troublesome ways.  Hence, for example, the WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC proposition that  Saddam Hussein’s regime is the LOCAL AUTHOR causally responsible for ‘its own actions and results’, when our sense-experience grounded QUANTUM LOGIC understanding is that we are all included in the ONE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM wherein the male asserting/actualizing dynamics are inductively actualized by the female accommodating/enabling influence.

THAT WHICH IS ACTUALLY GOING ON IN THE WORLD lies beyond the reach of individual perspective as implied by QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM

We can’t assume, for example, that Saddam Hussein’s regime is the LOCAL AUTHOR of ‘its own actions and results’ since it is a LOCAL FEATURE (‘condensation’) that is a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION of a ‘male asserting/actualizing’ (genetic expression) within the global relational dynamic that is inductively actualized by a ‘female accommodating/enabling (epigenetic influence).

In the case of Saddam Hussein, or Hamas, we know that “it takes a whole global community to raise a troublesome child”.  The appropriate action in this case is to acknowledge that the source of the trouble is relational tensions (female accommodating/enabling influence aka epigenetic influence) associated with imbalance (alienation, embargos, boycotts) so that the remedy is to transform relations in the global relational matrix so as to restore balance and harmony.  This may be difficult to do if there is WESTERN MILITARY BACKED SUPREMACIST influence that claims entitlement to PRIMARY AUTHORITY in matters of morally judging the behaviours of the global participants; i.e. such influence may lead to the persisting application of INAPPROPRIATE MORAL JUDGEMENT, where the TRACING BACK OF CAUSAL AUTHORING AND RESPONSIBILITY for INJURIOUS ACTIONS BOTTOMS OUT in what are declared to be “INDEPENDENTLY-EXISTING SOVEREIGN STATES”.  This is the same DELUSION as in the ‘IDENTIFIED PATIENT SYNDROME’ where the ‘SICK PUPPY (aberrant behaviour manifesting participant)’ is ‘SICK’ because of the TOXICITY of the ENVIRONMENT IT IS SITUATIONALLY INCLUDED IN.

DO WE FIX THE SICK PUPPY OR DO WE FIX THE TOXIC ENVIRONMENT?  IS THERE ‘RELATIONAL DISSONANCE’ SERVING AS A TOXIC ENVIRONMENT THAT GIVES RISE TO “SICK PUPPIES”?

The RESOLVING of RELATIONAL DISSONANCE is thus NOT by way of BINARY LOGIC base PURIFICATIONISM which is “putting one’s ladder up the wrong wall”, over-simplifying the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION SO THAT THE REMEDY APPEARS TO BE TO ELIMINATE THE TROUBLE-MAKERS (which is at the simpler BINARY LOGIC LEVEL) which fails to address the deeper QUANTUM LOGIC REALITY wherein the ROOT ISSUE is relational IMBALANCE where the remedy is the restoring of BALANCE.

Re the ISRAELI – PALESTINIAN CONFLICT

As in the MINER’S CANARY based interpretation, the ABERRANT BEHAVIOUR of HAMAS is arising from the TOXIC ENVIRONMENT in which case the ELIMINATING OF HAMAS will only contribute to an INCREASINGLY TOXIC ENVIRONMENT which is likely to engender MORE ABERRANT MINER’S CANARIES within a continuing VICIOUS CYCLE.

Because the players in this case have a background of belief in Judaism/Christianity/Islam, where the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is very often (most often) in BINARY LOGIC terms of RIGHT and WRONG or GOOD and EVIL, the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is BINARY LOGIC based, whereas in indigenous aboriginal communities the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is QUANTUM LOGIC BASED where the interpretation of strife is in terms of IMBALANCE.  For example, in discussions of the earlier mentioned Haudenosaunee Great Law of Peace which was admired by the ‘Founding Fathers of the U.S’., Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison, an also by Engels, it is not generally mentioned that the indigenous aboriginal understanding is that we live “in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence” as has been affirmed by Modern physics.  In the Christian religion, as well as in the Judaic and Islamic versions of Abrahamic belief, the BINARY LOGIC of GOOD and EVIL plays a strong continuing role and has been built into common LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING schemes.   .

What the Founding Father saw in the indigenous aboriginal system of governance could not have been possible without the keystone belief in ‘mitakuye oyasin’, we are all related, whereas, in the religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, there is a common belief in the INDEPENDENCE of the HUMAN “BEING” in which case the INDEPENDENT BEING is held fully and solely responsible for his/her own behaviour.  This introduces grounds for relational dissonance in the social collective on the basic of the individual having the implicit responsibility of imposing JUDGEMENTS OF GOOD OR EVIL on the behaviours NOT ONLY of oneself but of others.

In the indigenous aboriginal philosophy, the belief is that ‘everything is related’ in which case what is sought for is an overall harmony as in the Buddhist philosophy wherein the Bodhisattva must help everyone else on their way to Nirvana and to personally, fall in behind.   In general, in the indigenous aboriginal culture as well, the belief in the WEB OF LIFE means that one must cultivate harmony in the all-including relational web which not only includes humans but the four-leggeds, the winged ones, the crawly ones and all form as is given by ‘mitakuye oyasin’ (everything is related). So, in regard to behavioural ethics, they differ radically between the two cultures; indigenous aboriginals and WESTERN CULTURE; e.g.

Acting so as to CULTIVATE the GROWTH of this BINARY LOGIC based POLARIZED VIOLENCE is CRAZINESS.  As already mentioned, EGO is part of this political structure

THAT “MISSES THE REAL ISSUE” BY FOCUSING ON ELIMINATING THE TROUBLE-MAKERS, WHICH NOT ONLY FAILS TO ADDRESS THE ‘ROOT ISSUE” of RELATIONAL IMBALANCE BUT EXACERBATES THE IMBALANCE AND ASSOCIATED POLARIZING but by resolving RELATIONAL IMBALANCE which is the actual source of what is RELATIONAL DISSONANCE wherein there is NO SUCH THING as a LOCAL AUTHORING SOURCE that is RESPONSIBLE.

While in our WESTERN CULTURE, we do not acknowledge that an individual view can only be a PERSPECTIVE, and where as Lafontaine observed ‘La raison du plus fort est toujours la meilleure’ (the reasoning of the strongest is always (tongue in cheek) ‘the best’.

Perspectivism is the underpinning of the current sense of the collapsing of truth, as Alexis Papazoglou points out;

“As he [Nietzsche] saw it, once we realise that the idea of an absolute, objective truth is a philosophical hoax, the only alternative is a position called “perspectivism” – the idea there is no one objective way the world is, only perspectives on what the world is like.”

Among these perspectives are the Western CERTAINTY oriented perspectives as in pre-modern-physics ‘scientific perspectives’.

GIVING A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE TO “BEING” prohibits our ability to use our language to convey WAVE-FIELD REALITY wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX; i.e. where we share inclusion in an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM wherein we and all material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD.

EXAMPLE:

Before we ‘open our mouths to use our language’, our sense-experience informs us that the indigenous aboriginal are correct in their understanding, which they have built into their LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME (which is flow-based) that ‘everything is related’ (mitakuye oyasin).  This, we WESTERN CULTURE adherents have discovered through our QUANTUM PHYSICS where know now, that material forms are CONCENTRATIONS OF ENERGY or in Bohm’s terms ‘CONDENSATIONS OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  This gives us the QUANTUM LOGIC “BOTH/AND” relation between what we call SPACE (the energy charged PLENUM which Bohm emphasizes “IS NOT EMPTY, IT IS FULL”.

The QUANTUM LOGIC relation between material forms and “SPACE” (i.e. ‘the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM’) is the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM relation, which describes the relation between a CONDENSATION of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM AND THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.

This QUANTUM LOGIC relation is what DEMANDS that we have a FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME such as where we keep everything in flow so that there are only RELATIONS (mitakuye oyasin) and NO THINGS THAT BE (BEINGS) whereby EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX or in other words, all material forms are included in the ONE ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD or “TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM” which would be in Lao Tzu’s terms ‘The Tao’.  It is ‘the Tao that cannot be told’ because ‘everything is in flux.

This make things difficult for the LANGUAGE ARCHITECT and for the LANGUAGE USERS because there is NO SOLID GROUND, and this is why MODERN PHYSICS RESEARCHERS turned to BOOTSTRAPPING.  Bootstrapping is a LANGUAGE TRICK where one DOES use being based things BUT ONLY AS A DEVICE so to talk about that relations omong them after which, once we have the relational view, we can toss out the BEING based entities we used to get to the relations.  Impressionist artists have used a technique like this by focusing on what they call NEGATIVE SPACE, the spaces between things which can tell more than when we focus on the THINGS IN THEMSELVES because when we focus on the THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES, we invoke a ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE “FRAME” like EUCLIDIAN SPACE and we lose touch with the reality that EVERYTHING IS RELATED and bound up as changing condensations in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

The FIXED EUCLIDIAN reference frame takes me out of QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC world wherein the CONTENT is at the same time the CONTAINER which is just describing situations such as WHORLINGS in the FLOWING or CONDENSATIONS in the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  In other words, THE FIXED EUCLIDEAN reference frame REMOVES OUR ABILITY to give the foundational role to relations and hands over the foundational role to MATERIAL BEINGS.

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, MEANWHILE, HAVE GIVEN THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO ‘BEING’ or ‘THINGS-THAT-BE’ which means that they need an ABSOLUTE EMPTY and INFINITE SPACE to “RESIDE” IN so that there is NO BLURRING between CONTENT and CONTAINER.which we mess up the abstraction of BEING.

OK, WE HAVE DONE THAT and that is where the BINARY LOGIC is given a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE because what we can now talk about is EITHER MATTER OR SPACE and as we have seen in NEWTONIAN PHYSICS, we speak of MATTER and SPACE as TWO SEPARATE and INCOMPATIBLE THINGS, .. until we get to Modern physics and FIELD instead of EMPTY SPACE where there is a FIELD-MATTER EQUIVALENCE or a MATTER-ENERGY EQUIVALENCE as with ‘atomic energy’ etc.

Ok, back to our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE SCREW-UP where we SCREWED UP by giving a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LANGUAGE to “BEING” which is an abstraction that is not found in the world of our sense-experience of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX as has been built into the indigenous aboriginal LANGUAGES and into the languages of Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta as Zen guru Alan Watts affirms, pointing out that BEING based THINGS DO NOT EXIST.

 As soon as one sees that separate things are fictitious, it becomes obvious that nonexistent things cannot “perform” actions. The difficulty is that most languages are arranged so that actions (verbs) have to be set in motion by things (nouns), and we forget that rules of grammar are not necessarily rules, or patterns, of nature. This, which is nothing more than a convention of grammar, is also responsible for (or, better, “goes with”) absurd puzzles as to how spirit governs matter, or mind moves body. How can a noun, which is by definition not action, lead to action?” —Alan Watts, ‘Book on the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are’

So, OK, HERE WE ARE, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS who have given ourselves a BEING BASED LANGUAGE that is BINARY LOGIC limited, dealing only with material forms that are SEPARATE from the space they are included in.

This sort of BINARY LOGIC based LANGUAGE, this LANGUAGE THAT WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS CONTINUE TO USE, is INAPABLE of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING OF WAVE-FIELD REALITY, .. so long as our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING puts in any DEPENDENCE on MATERIAL BEING based entities, … but what we COULD DO is the following;

Instead of saying ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which has the dependency on BEING, we could say, instead,

THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD.

Now we have switched to QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX; i.e. the TOWNING is BOTH ITSELF AND the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

BUT THIS RUNS AFOUL of such things as ‘the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE’ and in fact the GLOBAL SYSTEM OF HAVING DECLARED THINGS TO BE ‘INDEPENDENT BY NAMING THEM AND USING GRAMMAR TO IMPUTE TO THEM THEIR OWN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS which is the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR pointed out by Nietzsche.   It is a DOUBLE ERROR which continues to be given a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE in our WESTERN CULTURE, much to the chagrin of those who study the massive DYSFUNCTION that comes from this; e.g;

OK, there is a PROBLEM HERE that we have NOT FIXED and it is the source of continuing FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANTISM in our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT GLOBAL SOCIAL DYNAMIC.

The PROBLEM is that our Common Average European Languages are DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE so that by using our everyday ENGLISH or CAE LANGUAGE, we ae going with only the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING CONJUGATE and we are SUBSTITUTE ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE for the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE.

That is as far as I can go using this language, English, but as Alan Watts pointed out, and as in the example I have given which is ALL RELATIONAL ACTION without any BEING, we can get across WAVE-FIELD COMPATIBLE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING wherein material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM;

THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM

But what has not been said, and I could add an appendix, is that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are very ATTACHED to the DUMBED DOWN LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS we are commonly constructing with our LANGUAGE such as ‘OUR COMPANY HAS EXPANDED OUR AREA OF CULTIVATED LAND TENFOLD’, … because that will bring on investment money, but because this is just the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZIGN CONJUGATE, it DROPS OUT MENTION OF THE CONJGUATE SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS AND THUS THE TRUTH OF WHAT IS GOING ON WHICH IS TRANSFORMATION THAT WE ALL SHARE INCLUSION IN, so this BIG-SHOT (HERE IS NIETSCHE’S CRITIQUE OF WESTERN CULTURE EGO) PROPOSITION THAT THE GROWTH of CULTIVATED LAND IS “SOMETHING REAL”.  IT IS “NOT REAL” because what is REAL is the overall TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka the WAVE-FIELD which is ALL-INCLUDING and we too are included in it?  Remember someon else saying the same thing?
