EMERSON, NIETZSCHE and BOHM, The NONLOCAL/IMPLICIT, the LOCAL/EXPLICIT and the WAVE-FIELD

This note ‘started off’ to be an explanation of the relationship between BINARY LOGIC (two-state EITHER/OR LOGIC) and QUANTUM LOGIC (three state BOTH/AND BALANCE LOGIC).  BINARY LOGIC pervades our WESTERN CULTURE while QUANTUM LOGIC pervades indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.  This gets into the different use and influence of LOCAL and EXPLICIT vis a vis the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

In terms of WAVE-FIELD theory, these are referred to as the REAL and IMAGINARY components of a COMPLEX REALITY (the WAVE-FIELD).

EMERSON and NIETZSCHE focused, respectively, on the IMAGINARY and REAL components while BOHM focused on the WAVE-FIELD itself. 

So, I have ‘adjusted’ the orientation of this ‘note’ to serve the BRINGING INTO CONNECTIVE CONFLUENCE, all THREE of these contributions to understanding the WAVE-FIELD nature or reality.  Emerson is using romantic language to allude to the often forgotten NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT aspect of reality. Nietzsche is alluding to the WESTERN CULTURE popularized LOCAL and EXPLICIT with an aggressive approach that aims to SHATTER its pretention to ‘completeness’ by WESTERN CULTURE language architecture’s attempt to foist the MALE ASSERTIVE CONJUGATE on us, as if to declare that that is all that is necessary for capturing ‘reality’. 

Nietzsche’s ‘DOUBLE ERROR’ label is an intentional pejorative used to SMASH the concept of the LOCAL AUTHOR and show that it is an ARTIFICIAL CREATION achieved by GLOMMING TOGETHER the language operatives of NAMING and GRAMMAR so that the NAMING establishes a LOCAL PRESENCE and the GRAMMAR conflates this by imputing the POWER OF AUTHORING ACTION to the LOCAL PRESENCE.   The LOCAL AUTHOR concept is thus a DECEPTION that needs to be SMASHED in the same sense that the Celts SMASHED STATUES since they implied that something innately spiritual (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) could be reduced to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.

TODAY, we are in possession of a HUGE ARCHIVE of WRITINGS, most of which are giving a foundational role to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which is imputing LOCAL AUTHORING.  THESE CONSTRUCTIONS NEED TO BE SMASHED in order to get to the sense-experience affirmable understanding which is FLUID as in the WAVE-FIELD dynamic.

Bohm’s orientation has always been to GET IT RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE by employing a FLOW-BASED language architecture (e.g. his Rheomode language, which he has pointed out, is a language architecture that has already been developed and exists in the indigenous aboriginal languages).  So, here is where EMERSON, NIETZSCHE and BOHM are respectively “COMING FROM”

Emerson: Pointing out in The Method of Nature, that the ALL-INCLUDING FLUID ASPECT of NATURE is DROPPED OUT by our language architecture and we end up ‘going only with the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, having dropped out the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT;

A man’s wisdom is to know that all ends are momentary, that the best end must be superseded by a better. But there is a mischievous tendency in him to transfer his thought from the life to the ends, to quit his agency and rest in his acts: the tools run away with the workman, the human with the divine. — Emerson

In other words, in our use of thought and language, the local and explicit which is meant only as a Wittgenstein Ladder to INFER the fluid reality; i.e. the NONLOCAL, IMPLICIT WAVE-FIELD CONTINUUM that lies beyond the reach of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, that latter having utility BUT ONLY AS TOOL OF INFERENCE of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

The WESTERN CULTURE SCREW-UP IS THUS the DUMBING DOWN (SIMPLIFYING) of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.  This SIMPLIFICATION or “SIMPLI-FICTION” is done simply by injecting a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which IS capturable in LOCAL, EXPLICIT language constructs, so that is what we END UP WITH using, i.e. bunch of LOCAL and EXPLICIT ‘IDOLS’ which are like the STATUES of GODS and MEN that Brennus and the Celts SMASHED because the very existence of these statues implied that the SUBJECTS could be reduced to LOCAL and EXPLICIT components.  This was the same issue as induced Charles Dickens to write ‘HARD TIMES’ wherein the school teacher Gradgrind, is mocked for his attempts to PURGE THE POETIC (the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) from his students thinking entirely.

Charles Dickens in ‘Hard Times’ in the sequence where ‘Sissy Jupe’s relational understanding of a horse is ‘put down’ by her teacher Thomas Gradgrind who insists on grounding all understanding in ‘being’-based ‘facts’ as is the way of mainstream ‘science’;

“Now, what I want is, Facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but Facts. Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. This is the principle on which I bring up my own children, and this is the principle on which I bring up these children. Stick to Facts, sir!”

THERE IS A BATTLE GOING ON IN WESTERN CULTURE WHICH HAS BEEN PUSHING THE OVERALL SOCIAL COLLECTIVE IN THE DIRECTION OF GOING EXCLUSIVELY WITH THE ‘LOCAL AND EXPLICIT’ AND ‘DROPPING OUT ENTIRELY’, THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT.

THIS IS NOTHING OTHER THAN THE REDUCTION OF THE WAVE-DYNAMIC WHICH IS MATHEMATICALLY CONSTITUTE BY BOTH ‘REAL’ (LOCAL, EXPLICIT) AND ‘IMAGINARY’ (NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT) ‘COMPONENTS’.

For example, the indigenous aboriginal language will convey the equivalent of ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ which captures BOTH the LOCAL and EXPLICIT ‘TOWNING’ but keeps it in context with the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ‘TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’.  MEANWHILE, our WESTERN CULTURE language will SEPARATE OUT the LOCAL and EXPLICIT and use GRAMMAR to ANIMATE IT as if it were an INDEPENDENT THING-IN-ITSELF with its own POWERS OF AUTHORING actions and development, strutting its stuff within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE CONTAINING SPACE. as in ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING, PRODUCING products and services.

OK, THAT IS A BRIEF ACCOUNT OF WHERE EMERSON AND NIETTZSCHE ARE COMING FROM; i.e. EMERSON is employing poetic language to get to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT aspect of reality and pointing out that we have abandoned it and are instead making EXCLUSIVE use of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT which one might say is the LESSER ASPECT.  NIETZSCHE IS NOW LEFT TO DEAL WITH THE WESTERN CULTURE SUBSTITUTE REALITY WHEREIN THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT IS GIVEN THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE (WHICH IS WHERE BINARY LOGIC WHICH AFFIRMS THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT AS IN “EITHER” IS “OR” IS NOT  IS GIVEN PRECEDENCE OVER QUANTUM LOGIC WHICH AFFIRMS THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT AS IN BALANCE AND IMBALANCE).

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, DAVID BOHM WHO HAS ‘HELD OUT’ FOR A FULLY ‘WAVE-FIELD CAPABLE’ LANGUAGE (A FLOW-BASED LANGUAGE) SO THAT WE DON’T EVEN BEGIN TO GENERATE MASSIVE FILES OF SCREWED UP LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATION BASED ON THE INNATELY DEFICIENT COMMON AVERAGE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE WITH ITS DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR, LOCAL AUTHORING STRUCTURES.

INTRODUCTION SUMMARY:

EMERSON: POINTS OUT THAT LANGUAGE USAGE IS DROPPING OUT THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT AND GOING SOLELY WITH THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT

NIETZSCHE: ATTACKS THE WHOLE HUGE INVENTORY OF LANGUAGE WHICH IS LIKE THE STATUE OR ‘IDOL’ BASED REPRESENTATION OF THINGS INNATELY BEYOND THE LOCAL, EXPLICIT CAPTURE SCOPE OF THE STATUE OR ‘IDOL’.  NIETZSCHE RECOGNIZES THAT THE ‘IDOLS’ ARE NOW BLOCKING US FROM ‘GETTING TO THE FULL UNDERSTANDING’ AS WE ARE PUT IN A TRANCE AND ARE FIXATING ON THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT ‘IDOLS’ WHICH ARE JUST STELLVERTRETORS OR (PLACE-KEEPERS) OR SUBSTITUTES  FOR THE RICHER AND DEEPER UNDERSTANDING IN TERMS OF THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT.  IN OTHER WORDS, THE MALE-ASSERTIVE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT CONJUGATE IS STEALING THE WHOLE SHOW AND NOT EVEN ALLOWING THE FEMALE-INDUCTIVE NONLOCAL

The profound influence of American philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson on Nietzsche is one of the most underestimated connections in the history of philosophy; as American philosopher Stanley Cavell has put it;

“no matter how often this connection of Nietzsche to Emerson is stated, no matter how obvious to anyone who cares to verify it, it stays incredible, it is always in a forgotten state.”

THE POINT IS THAT EMERSON used poetic language that is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT to convey how we have employed the LOCAL and EXPLICIT to PUSH OUT the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT which is also what Charles Dickens is WARNING US ABOUT in the excerpt from ‘HARD TIMES’ cited above.

BOHM, MEANWHILE, appears to ABANDON dealing with the mess we making with our sub-par language architecture. Bohm points out very well how it is FRAGMENTING our PSYCHE and leading to SCHIZOPHRENIA and PARANOIA (as in CONFLICTS that are naturally BUT WHICH WE THEN INTERPRET IN THE BINARY LOGIC TERMS OF “EITHER” right “OR” wrong, or “EITHER” good “OR” evil.  

HEY!  (as Bohm is trying to say) all we are really talking about is “BALANCE” and “IMBALANCE” and it is this damned DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that is giving us this BOGUS impression of LOCAL AUTHORING of EITHER ‘good actions and developments’ OR ‘bad actions and developments’.   BUT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “LOCAL AUTHORING”, that is just a DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

BOHM has thus committed his efforts to going directly to a more capable ‘language’ such as a ‘flow-based language’ or, beyond that even, … a communicating method (like the Bohmian Dialogue) that does not get bogged down by the LIMITATIONS OF LANGUAGE.

SO, THIS BRINGS ME TO THE END OF THE SUMMARY OF WHAT THIS NOTE IS ‘GOING TO BE ALL ABOUT’ which is ALL OF THE ABOVE.

The reality is that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are taught to believe in the REALITY of BINARY LOGIC based GOOD versus EVIL

The indigenous aboriginal culture adherents cultivate a QUANTUM LOGIC understanding which is affirmed by Modern physics.

In times of CONFLICT, BINARY LOGIC leads to (A) identification of THE GOOD GROUP and THE BAD GROUP and to an orientation wherein the GOOD GROUP is challenged with DEFEATING or ELIMINATING the THREAT POSED BY THE BAD GROUP.  ONE WAY OF ACHIEVING THIS IS TO TAKE THE BAD GROUP PRISONER AND FORCE THEM TO ACCEPT THE DEMANDS OF THE GOOD GROUP.

THAT WAS THE BINARY LOGIC based approach

With the QUANTUM LOGIC approach, it is assumed that THERE IS JUST ONE GROUP within which STRIFE has developed which is manifesting in RELATIONAL DISSONANCE.   In this view, we understand the overall social collective as being included within something greater than themselves.  The social collective is thus like the clustering of ants in the forest wilderness so that things do not START and END with the “CLUSTER” of ants as if they lived in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT.  Instead, there is a CLUSTERING within the TRANSFORMING LANDSCPAE aka the transforming relational continuum aka the Tao.

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS in our THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE DYNAMIC, GO WRONG HERE by employing the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which CREATES the LOCAL CLUSTER, notionally with ITS OWN POWERS OF AUTHORING THE CLUSTERING.

This implies that the AUTHORING is coming from INTELLIGENCE within the MEMBERS OF THE CLUSTER, when the reality is very different; i.e. the CLUSTERING is a RESONANCE so that we might correctly say that THERE IS CLUSTERING IN THE TRANFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, and if we scrutinize what is going on here we may see a pattern of GATHERING and SCATTERING as ants GATHER around a drop of honey and SCATTER as they distribute the honey WHICH INDUCED THE GATHERING.   If we were to use the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to say that ‘the ants formed a CLUSTER’, it would suggest that it was the ants INTENTION to form a cluster, in the manner of RUGBY TEAM.  (ant captain to ants; … ok, when I give the signal were going to run the number 11 cluster, … y’all know what to do).

SO, WHAT DO WE MEAN WHEN WE SAY ‘THE ANTS FORMED A CLUSTER’?  THE VERY STRUCTURE OF OUR WORDS; i.e. the NAMING and GRAMMAR structure suggests LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT which is what Nietzsche calls the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which implies LOCAL AUTHORING.   Nietzsche’s example was LIGHTNING FLASHES but, philosophically, we are talking about the same DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR;

Our judgement has us conclude that every change must have an author”;–but this conclusion is already mythology: it separates that which effects from the effecting. If I say “lightning flashes,” I have posited the flash once as an activity and a second time as a subject, and thus added to the event a being that is not one with the event but is rather fixed, “is” and does not “become.”–To regard an event as an “effecting,” and this as being, that is the double error, or interpretation, of which we are guilty.” – Nietzsche, ‘Will to Power’, 531

The point is that WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have BUILT INTO OUR LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE THE GRAMMMAR NEEDED TO IMPUTE LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS which is (A) LOCAL BEING,  (B) LOCAL AUTHORING POWER, and (C) a WILL within the BEING to ACTIVATE AUTHORING.

In its origin language belongs in the age of the most rudimentary form of psychology. We enter a realm of crude fetishism when we summon before consciousness the basic presuppositions of the metaphysics of language, in plain talk, the presuppositions of reason. Everywhere it sees a doer and doing; it believes in will as the cause; it believes in the ego, in the ego as being, in the ego as substance, and it projects this faith in the ego-substance upon all things — only thereby does it first create the concept of “thing.” Everywhere “being” is projected by thought, pushed underneath, as the cause; the concept of being follows, and is a derivative of, the concept of ego. In the beginning there is that great calamity of an error that the will is something which is effective, that will is a faculty. Today we know that it is only a word.” – Nietzsche, ‘Twilight of the Idols’

Nietzsche thus shows how language supplies the needed ingredient to give rise to the NOTION of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development which CONSTRUCTS A SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is LOCAL FRAGMENT based.

Nietzsche’s ‘SMASHING IDOLS’ as suggested in TWILLIGHT OF THE IDOLS is a means of rediscovering the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT RELATIONS that constitute the real (WAVE-FIELD) reality, a fluid reality that was in Nietzsche’s thoughts through his reading of the prescient works of Boscovich (‘Theory of Natural Philosophy’ (1758) which has been described by modern physicists as being “200 years ahead of its time”). .

Bohm makes the same point IN A DIFFERENT WAY (one might say that BOHM goes DIRECTLY to the FLOW-BASED REALITY) but it is making the same point which is, that ALTHOUGH NATURE’S DYNAMIC IS the WAVE-FIELD DYNAMIC aka TRANSFORMATION  which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and HAS NO DEPENDENCY ON LOCAL AND EXPLICIT ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, … our WESTERN CULTURE has developed the Common Average European languages which “ARE BASED ON THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT”.   Bohm’s orientation was not, as NIETZSCHE’S WAS to SMASH the FALSE IDOLS set up within our WESTERN CULTURE CAE languages (e.g. the TOWN THAT GROWD, DEVELOPS, PRODUCES), but to INSTEAD go down the path of ARCHITECTING  a FLOW-BASED LANGUAGE (e.g. Bohm’s Rheomode and the indigenous aboriginal languages such as Algonquin) which incorporated the QUANTUM LOGIC based representations (where BALANCE is the primary dynamic as associates with MATTER as a CONDENSATION of the WAVE-FIELD, giving the BOTH/AND QUANTUM LOGICrather than the EITHER/OR BINARY LOGIC).

My personal philosophical investigations suggest to me a POTENTIAL advantage in Nietzsche’s strategy because people are MESMERIZED by the FALSE IDOLS (i.e. there is no such thing as a LOCAL AUTHOR) and there is a lot of EGO tied up them as Nietzsche has pointed out, so that SMASHING THE IDOLS, these DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR based BOGUS LOCAL AUTHORS, can potentially KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE, which is to DETHRONE THE LOCAL AUTHORS which are the product of BINARY LOGIC and open the way to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT as immanent in BALANCE aka RESONANCE.

For example, we need to be able to get BEYOND ‘the TOWN THAT IS GROWING’ to ‘the TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’.

THIS TAKES US BEYOND THE SIMPLE ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTIVE BINARY LOGIC (the TOWN GROWING in EMPTY SPACE)  to the LESS SIMPLE ANDROGYNOUS QUANTUM LOGIC (TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE)

In the ANDROGYNOUS understanding, the ASSERTING of the TOWNING and the ACCOMMODATING of the LANDSCAPE are a MALE-FEMALE (ANDROGYNOUS) UNUUM, as is the nature of the WAVE-FIELD.

BOTTOM LINE:

Nietzsche is ATTACKING THE LANGUAGE PROBLEM from WHERE WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE RIGHT NOW.  WE HAVE FOR CENTURIES BEEN PUTTING OUT ALL KINDS OF CAE LANGUAGE BASED WRITTEN AND SPOKEN MATERIAL, AMOST ALL OF WHICH IS TO SOME EXTENT ‘CONTAMINATED’ with the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR THAT INCLUDES PROPOSITIONS OR NARRATIVES SUGGESTING ‘LOCAL AUTHORING’.

Bohm understand the LANGUAGE PROBLEM in the same way but has his fights set, from the beginning, on DEVELOPING A LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE AND APPROACH WHICH IS NOT PERMEATED WITH THE FRAGMENTATION PROBLEM which derives from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that sets up LOCAL AUTHORS which in Nietzsche’s representation are the FALSE IDOLS that must be smashed;

In the title Twilight of the Idols, or, How to Philosophize with a Hammer (Götzen-Dämmerung, oder, Wie man mit dem Hammer philosophiert), Nietzsche is, among other things, mocking the rising political put down of Jewish people.  The Götzen-Dämmerung title was a pun on Wagner’s ‘Götterdämmerung’ (the Twilight of the Gods).  That is, Götze is a German word for “idol” or “false god”.

What was the ‘false God’ for Nietzsche?   The false God was REASON!

From my limited readings, Nietzsche seemed more focused on the PROBLEMS with our current LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE while Bohm was anxious to get on with his development of a flow-based language, or as a seeming compromise, a learning circle approach similar to the indigenous aboriginal learning circles wherein the participants share their sense-experiences and extract ‘coherencies’ from the connective confluence, those coherencies, while ineffable, carry understanding of the transforming relational continuum (WAVE-FIELD) that we all share inclusion in.

So, Bohm was NOT INTERESTED as Nietzsche was, in attacking the FALSE IMPRESSIONS we are getting from our DEFECTIVE (DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR FILLED) LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE where we are constructing SUBSTITUTE REALITIES based on LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments.

BOHM’s orientation was, in effect, WHY BOTH WITH DAMAGE CONTROL AND REPAIRS TO OUR DEFECTIVE LANGUAGE, … WHY NOT GO DIRECTLY TO A NEW LANGUAGE SYSTEM, or better, ORAL DIALOGUING SYSTEM which ‘sounds like’ the indigenous aboriginal ‘learning circle’ approach (I have participated in, and coordinated indigenous aboriginal style ‘learning circles’ which have been endorsed by and included participation of native elders)..

Bohm Dialogue (also known as Bohmian Dialogue or “Dialogue in the Spirit of David Bohm”) is a freely flowing group conversation in which participants attempt to reach a common understanding, experiencing everyone’s point of view fully, equally and nonjudgmentally.[1] This can lead to new and deeper understanding. The purpose is to solve the communication crises that face society,[2] and indeed the whole of human nature and consciousness. It utilizes a theoretical understanding of the way thoughts relate to universal reality. It is named after physicist David Bohm who originally proposed this form of dialogue.

OK, I AM TRYING TO KEEP THIS SHORT BUT IT HAS QUITE A FEW ‘ARMS AND LEGS’ AS YOU CAN SEE.  TO SUMMARIZE TO THIS POINT, WE REMAIN STUCK WITH LANGUAGE THAT IS THE SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION, SCHIZOPHRENIA and PARANOIA.  This is happening because, WHILE WE ARE ALL RELATED WITHIN THE COMMON WEB-OF-LIFE aka the WAVE-FIELD, OUR WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE, INTO WHICH WE BUILT SIMPLIFICATION BY WAY OF BINARY LOGIC AND BY THE ASSOCIATED DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR WHICH REDUCES THE WORLD DYNAMIC TO LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND EVELOPMENTS.

These SIMPLIFICATIONS are CRAZY-MAKERS which are not present in indigenous aboriginal languages which have the QUANTUM LOGIC structure that Bohm put into his Rheomode flow-based language and which is needed for language-based representations of WAVE-FIELD reality wherein we and relational forms in generate are CONDENSATIONS OF THE ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD.

-1-OUR COMMON AVERAGE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE has a PROBLMATIC STRUCUTRE in that it develops REPRESENTATIONS based on the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING and GRAMMAR that imputes LOCAL AUTHORING; e.g. ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING, PRODUCING goods and services’

THIS IS A ONE-SIDED ALL-MALE NO FEMALE CONJUGATE (both are in the physical WAVE-FIELD reality).

OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE understanding is ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (or ‘transforming relational continuum aka WAVE-FIELD aka ‘Tao’ and this is what is captured in the indigenous aboriginal languages where the understanding is that everything is included within an inter-relating WEB-OF-LIFE.

-2- Nietzsche’s view, and the view of Boscovich wat that the world is one all-including energy-field.  This agrees with Modern physics but runs counter to Darwinism hence Nietzsche’s ANTI-DARWIN commentaries and his affinity with the evolution theory of William Rolph which is essentially WAVE-FIELD based

The WAVE DYNAMIC IS, IN ESSENCE, A PROCESS OF DIFFUSION IN WHICH FEMALE OUTSIDE-INWARD INDUCTION and MALE INSIDE-OUTWARD ASSERTION, are in CONJUGATE RELATION.  It is NOT as if GROWTH is “DETERMINED”  by this conjugate process, it is that the simple MALE ASSERTIVE CONCEPT OF GROWTH which is the standard understanding of GROWTH in WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC oriented interpretation OF EVERYTHING, … BUT INSTEAD that the ANDROGYNOUS P DIFFUSION PROCESS THAT IS BEING DESCRIBED is TRANSFORMATION rather than GROWTH..

In other words, Nietzsche is correct in his ANTI-DARWIN critique and his support for Rolph whose ideas are consistent with those of Boscovich and Modern physics.  WHAT ‘HAS TO GO’ is DARWIN’S THEORY.  REPRODUCTION WITH VARIATION HAS A ONE-SIDED MALE-ASSERTIVE STRUCTURE AKIN TO GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION CONSISTENT WITH THE WESTERN CULTURE HABIT OF REDUCING ‘EVERTYHING’ TO A LOCAL AUTHORING BASIS, CONSISTENT WITH THE WESTERN CULTURE EGO-BASED MODEL OF THE HUMAN WHICH IS A BINARY LOGIC BASED ‘INDEPENDENT BEING’ WITH ITS OWN LOCAL POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.  THIS IS MISSING THE FEMALE INDUCTIVE CONJUGATE AS FOUND IN NATURE AND IS INNATE IN THE WAVE-FIELD.

We use language that speaks of the WAR between the RUSSIANS and the UKRAINIANS which is a BINARY LOGIC based interpretation of what is going on.  Some of hold that ‘RUSSIANS ARE THE BAD GUYS’ and the UKRAINIANS ARE THE GOOD GUYS’.  This BINARY LOGIC FOCUS BLINDS US TO THE “PHYSICAL REALITY” wherein; “WE LIVE IN A WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE”

So WHAT”S ALL THIS BINARY LOGIC BUSINESS ABOUT A CONFLICT COMPRISED OF TWO POLAR OPPOSING PARTICIPANTS, RUSSIA and UKRAINE, or should make that FACTIONS or ALLIANCES.  EITHER WAY, WE CAN SPEAK OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN BINARY LOGIC TERMS BECAUSE THIS GIVES US THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT A WINNER and UNDERMINE a LOSER, as if REALITY COULD BE SIMPLIFIED and REPRESENTED AS A CLASH OF TWO OPPOSING SIDES.

The UKRAINE wants the U.S. and France and others already have, the DECLARED AND GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED STATUS OF ‘INDEPENDENT NATION’ which is pure ABSTRACTION since WE LIVE IN A WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE and it was SHOCKING when the indigenous aboriginals first heard this abstract dividing up of land while living on ground that was being BOUGHT AND SOLD FROM BENEATH THEIR FEET as was the experience, most recently, of the indigenous aboriginals of the Aleut territory of Alaxsxaq aka Alyeska aka Alaska when the U.S. “purchased it from the Russians” without ‘checking out’ whether the long-time inhabitants agreed that land could be divided up, declared ‘independent’, ‘bought and sold’ etc.

The desire of those living in the territory now popularly referred to as ‘the Ukraine would like to achieve what the U.S. and other colonizers achieved which is draw some imaginary lines on map, position some soldiers along the perimeter and go for a DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE

THERE IS “NOTHING” THAT SUPPORTS SUCH A NOTION AS THE ‘EXISTENCE OF AN INDEPENDENT NATION” OTHER THAN MILITARY FORCE AND ALLIANCES WITH OTHERS WHO LIKE SUCH ABSTRACTION WHICH IS SUPPORTED BY NOTHING OTHER THAN BRUTE FORCE (INHABITANTS WHO SWEAR TO GIVE THEIR LIVES IF NECESSARY TO IN SUPPORT OF THE ABSTRACT NOTION THAT WITHIN SOME IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDARIES THERE IS AN ‘INDEPENDENT NATION’, and if we want to check it out, we can just ask the people who have sworn an oath to give their lives if necessary to give physical support to sustain credible belief in the notion that stepping over the designated imaginary lines is the act of ENTRY into the imaginary line bounded ‘state’.

My comments are not POLITICAL but philosophical since I am just pointing out that there is no such thing as an INDEPENDENT NATION since our sense-experience is affirming that WE LIVE IN A WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE.

As Bohm pointes out, and Nietzsche, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are BIG on FRAGMENTING EVERYTING from LGBTQ genders to BLACK, WHILE, YELLOW, RED SKINNED HUMAN VARIANTS.   This FRAGMENTATION is DRIVING US NUTS as Bohm points out.  It is imposed by intellectual abstraction; i.e. by BINARY LOGIC, the logic of “EITHER” is “OR” is not.

RUSSIANS and UKRAINIANS and AMERICANS and CANADIANS are NOT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES, … NATURE refers to ONE ALL-INCLUDING WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE aka THE WAVE-FIELD.

NAMES of CATEGORIES OF THINGS tied to IMAGINARY LINE based polygons termed INDEPENDENT NATIONS (not to be confused with indigenous aboriginal ‘nations’ which are like ‘birds of a feather’ or relational associations of some sort or other).

MY POINT IS SIMPLY THAT THERE IS NO SOLID GROUND FOR ESTABLISHING THE ‘REALITY’ of an IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDED STATE other than having a whole load of people ready to MAKE BELIEVERS OUT OF EVERYONE basically by bodily force until everyone ‘gets trained’ to go through the official checkpoints and obey the protocols established by that ‘INDEPENDENT STATE’.  The INDEPENDENT STATE is therefore nothing other that PIE-IN-THE-SKY that people have been trained to respond to on receipt of the behaviour conditioning signals, which are akin to Monty Pythonesque NUDGE NUDGE, WINK WINK, SAY NO MORE.  That is, these SIGNALS are CONVENTIONS that demand a conditioned reflect type of response when the SIGNAL is given which could be SIGNAGE such as YOU ARE NOW ENTERING POLAND flagging the fact that there are a set of behavioural protocols or ‘conventions’ that everyone has been (or will soon be) trained to observe; i.e. UND NOW VEE DAHNCE.

The only way to establish and maintain the imaginary line bounded INDEPENDENT NATION is by physical force backed psychological conditioning, and this is typically done within the framework of a military alliance such as NATO or some such alliances as in the case of POLAND The Changing Borders of Poland’

In the video THE CHANGING BORDER OF POLAND, it become evident that he NAME OF THE GAME IS BEHAVIOURAL CONDITIONING which means that BELIEF IN THE EXISTENCE OF THE NATION is SECONDARY to pure BEHAVIOURAL COMPLIANCE what we call ‘the LAWS OF THE LAND’.  The indigenous aboriginal elder is never going to believe in THE EXISTENCE OF THE WESTERN CULTURE ABSTRACTION OF THE IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDED “INDEPENDENT NATION”, but compliance with going through the song and dance motions of border-crossing is achieved as a matter of simply avoiding the hassle that comes with NOT HUMORING the ritual behaviours demanded by, and enforced by, the BELIEVERS in the IMAGINARY BORDER LINE BASED “INDEPENDENT NATION”, paying particular attention those who are carrying guns and who have been hired to MAKE BELIEVERS OUT OF ANYONE who happens to be on a trajectory, traditional or otherwise, that now INTERSECTS the imaginary line base BORDERS that DEFINE the ‘INDEPENDENT NATION’.

There are many groups of people, the UKRANIANS being among them, who would like to establish BELIEF in some IMAGINARY LING BORDERS around what has become their ‘traditional stomping grounds, but the SOLE JUSTIFICATION FOR ESTABLISHING THE NOTIONAL ‘EXISTENCE’ OF AN IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDED ‘NATION’ IS ‘THE FORCE OF VIOLENCE’ and if you can seize control of territory while you have rifles and artillery where the current inhabitants have only bows and arrows, this is the time to strike. But while the basic arbitrariness of CREATING an INDEPENDENT NATION; i.e by simply seizing control by force, there are no longer so many valuable territories controlled solely by locals whose defenses are little more than sticks and stones.  Today, we have nuclear weapons, so that simple OCCUPATION firmed up by DECLATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE is not the same sort of caper as in the ‘good old days of colonialism’ where the indigenous residents had only sticks and stones and bows and arrows to put up a defense.

Johnnie-come-lately Ukrainians are no longer faced with the same conditions that prevailed for the U.S. colonizers back in 1776, and on top of that, some of the ‘big guys’ that got their butts kicked by a global consortia are now having to contend with what is called the SHIFTING GLOBAL BALANCE of POWER, which is backed up with more than the old rifles and cannons, like with nuclear weaponry.

It is thus NAÏVE to think in terms of the PURPORTED RIGHT of FREE PEOPLE to DECLARE THEIR INDEPENDENCE, meaning the INDEPENDENCE of the LAND that they are living on, because it is very late in the game to attempt such a move within the global land possession chess game wherein there is FORMALIZED POLARIZATION as in TREATY-based political mutual support groups, backed up with nuclear weaponry such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.  The days of stealing land from the indigenous aboriginals who, at the time of WESTERN CULTURE COLONIZATION lacked equivalent weaponry and global supporting alliances HAS PASSED.  NEW MODERN DAY DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE are done on a WORLD STAGE which communications is giving minute-to-minute GLOBAL COVERAGE of and where the chess pieces include LONG RANGE MISSILES.

The problem is NOT that the UKRAINE is being denied INDEPENDENT NATION STATUS, the problem is the very existence of the abstract concept of THE INDEPENDENT NATION SINCE WE  LIVE IN A WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE.

The problem here starts in our heads, in our belief that in such abstractions as THE INDEPENDENT NATION’.  We can’t set aside our natural powers of understanding since, as Giordano Bruno pointed out, THE MAJORITY HAS NO MONOPOLY ON TRUTH, i.e. the TRUTH about the purported REALITY of the INDEPENDENT NATION that purportedly exists WITHIN A WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE.

LETS SEE, WHERE ARE WE IN THIS NOTE that is entitled EMERSON, NIETZSCHE and BOHM, The NONLOCAL/IMPLICIT, the LOCAL/EXPLICIT and the WAVE-FIELD

I would say that we have arrived at TODAY and the issue of RUSSIA and the UKRAINE and NATIONHOOD which is a kind of TILING PROBLEM that doesn’t occur in a FLAT SPACE of INFINITE EXTENT which is where the initial thinking in terms of INDEPENDENCE was coming from, because INDEPENDENCE MAKES NO SENSE SINCE WE LIVE IN A RELATIONAL WORLD CHARACTERIZED BY GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND MUTUAL INTERDEPENDENCE.

The fact that we PRETEND that WE ARE INDEPENDENT and that our ABSTRACT IMAGINARY BOUNDARY LINE DEFINED NATIONS ARE ‘INDEPENDENT’ is evidently NOT REGISTERING with the four-legged, the winged and slithering ones, and even the indigenous aboriginals are only compliant when the armed guards that enforce belief (or pretending to believe) are there to POLICE at least the going through the motions as if one were a believer.  The four leggeds and the winged ones are NOT BIG ON LANGUAGE BASED DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE of SYMBOLIC, IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDED CLOSED FORM AREAS ON A GREOGRAPHIC MAP, because he four leggeds and the winged ones are like the indigenous aboriginals in that they continue to put sense-experience in a natural precedence over intellectual abstraction in shaping their behaviour.  Intellectual abstraction is a great tool but WATCH OUT as EMERSON was saying when we fall into the trap of putting the LOCAL and EXPLICIT into an UNNATURAL PRECEDENCE over the NONLOCAl and IMPLICIT.

BUT HEY!  WE HAVE HATCHED A CULTURE, WESTERN CULTURE, which has develop a LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE that ELEVATES the LOCAL and EXPLICIT into an unnatural precedence over the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.   We now speak in the one-sided MALE-ASSERTIVE, LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms of ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING, PRODUCING wherein the FEMALE CONJUGATE of the ACCOMMODATING LANDSCAPE has been DROPPED OUT.

THIS WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE MAKES IT SEEM AS IF THE TOWN IS SPREADING OUT ON A FLAT SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT SO THAT THERE IS NO FEMALE HOLE FROM WHICH MATERIALS ARE EXTRACTED TO MAKE GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION POSSIBLE.   INSTEAD OF THE ANDROGYNOUS WAVE-FIELD REALITY WHEREIN EVERYTHING IS IN QUANTUM LOGIC ‘BALANCE’, WE USE LANGUAGE TO REDUCE TO A SUBSTITUTE REALITY WHICH IS MALE-ASSERTIVE ONLY, AS IS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR.

SO, IN BRINGING THIS NOTE TO A CLOSE, AFTER SEEING WHERE ARE WE IN THIS NOTE that is entitled EMERSON, NIETZSCHE and BOHM, The NONLOCAL/IMPLICIT, the LOCAL/EXPLICIT and the WAVE-FIELD

it seems that we have covered how EMERSON points out how we have abandoned the NONLOCAL and  IMPLICIT and gone instead, in a one-sided fashion, with the LOCAL and EXPLICIT and that Nietzsche, in acknowledging this, has followed up with what seems to be needed which is to SMASH the LOCAL AND EXPLICIT CONDENSATIONS or “IDOLS” so as to RESTORE the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and in a sense, RECONSTITUTE THE WAVE-FIELD.

Thus, instead of accepting ‘the CLUSTER OF ANTS IS EXPANDING’ which is the LOCAL and EXPLICIT representation, we can open this up acknowledging the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ‘TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ as captured with ‘there is CLUSTERING of ANTS in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE which restores the FEMALE CONTAINING  so that it can join with the MALE ASSERTIVE ANT CONTENT, thus restoring the ANDROGYNOUS nature of the dynamic.

In the case of RUSSIA doing such and such and the UKRAINE doing such and such, this language and grammar is lifting the MALE ASSERTIVE out on its own and with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, IMPUTING LOCAL AUTHORING TO BOTH.  NOW WE HAVE THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT CONTENTS CLEARLY IN FRONT OF US (psychologically, at least) and they APPEAR TO BE INDEPENDENT and with their own POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

In the indigenous aboriginal languages as also in Modern physics, there is no place for the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which imputes LOCAL AUTHORING.  In other words, IN SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING, there is only INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.   If we “STAY” in this NO-BLAME (BALANCE AND IMBALANCE based) QUANTUM LOGIC realm of understanding which is affirmed by Modern physics, then what we see is the EMERGENCE OF IMBALANCE that manifests as STRIFE and because this IMBALANCE is within the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM WHICH IS NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT, this does not simply BLUR what is REALLY GOING ON in LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms, “IF WE COULD ONLY SEE IT IN FOCUS”, … THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT, outside of LANGUAGE and GRAMMAR based ABSTRACTION.

It is no ACCIDENT that indigenous aboriginal cultures gather in LEARNING CIRCLES to understand a RAPE even though the PERPETRATOR and VICTIM are both present.  In the indigenous aboriginal culture as in Modern physics, there is no knee-jerk resorting to the SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC premise of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR where, because our language can put together words in this DOUBLE ERROR context like HE DID IT, that this concept of LOCAL AUTHORING IS therefore EXPLAINING THE ACTUAL SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY.   NO!  INTUITIVELY, we know from our sense-experience that the relational dynamics of the social collective can accrue a buildup of tensions as in a weather system and the buildup of tensions will eventually induce a channel through which it can find release.  The relational tensions and NOT the lightning rod, is the source of someone ‘getting zapped’.  The WESTERN CULTURE PRACTICE of HANGING THE MESSENGER of tensional buildup in the community “IS THE DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR”.

The unmanaged TENSIONS in the social-collective matrix is the ROOT PROBLEM while the LIGHTNING ROD that becomes a CONDUIT that CHANNELS a release of those TENSIONS is “SECONDARY”, where the damage done is RAPE, MURDER, THEFT or their equivalents on the scale of SOCIAL COLLECTIVES such as the UKRAINIAN social collective and the RUSSIAN social collective.

A TENSION COLLECTING RELATIONAL MATRIX such as EURASIA can induce IMBALANCE fuelled ‘SHORT-CIRCUITS’ as in the case of RUSSIA and the UKRAINE.  WESTERN CULTURE’S BENT FOR SIMPLIFYING works by IGNORING THE FEMALE CONTAINER which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and SPOTLIGHTING the MALE ASSERTER that is LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  The participants in the social collective that are part of the nonlocal implicit “CLOUD” that is collecting the tensional buildup although they may not become directly involved in the LOCAL, EXPLICIT ‘ERUPTION OF VIOLENCE’ are nevertheless integrally involved since it is the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT tensional buildup that is the ENGINE of VIOLENT ERUPTION.

In simple terms, THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT SHORT CIRCUIT between RUSSIA and the UKRAINE derives from the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT relational tensional complex.  It is only the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that comes up with a notional LOCAL AUTHOR to ‘explain’ (or better, ‘confuse’) what is going on here, which is innately NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational).

The PHYSICAL ERUPTION OF VIOLENT CONFLICT is clearly LOCAL and EXPLICIT, but WHY would we suppose that its ORIGIN or AUTHORSHIP was LOCAL AND EXPLICIT?   The answer is that our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE facilitates SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC BASED EXPRESSION of the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC (IMBALANCE) ISSUE.   QUANTUM LOGIC aka IMBALANCE has elusive roots which are NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT whereas BINARY LOGIC aka CONFLICT is LOCAL and EXPLICIT and has a notional BINARY LOGICAL PERPETRATOR and VICTIM structure.

Indigenous aboriginals and Modern physics offer a QUANTUM LOGIC interpretation in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT terms of IMBALANCE whereas WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS and Newtonian physics offer a BINARY LOGIC interpretation in the LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms of PERPETRATOR and VICTIM.
