MOVING BEYOND OUR WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC WORLD VIEW

IS THERE A “NOBLE SAVAGE” IN US ALL THAT OUR BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE HAS REMOVED?

FIRST, …PRESENTATION OF EXPLANATORY TIPS FOR THE WESTERN CULTURE READER OF THIS ARTICLE: 

If the reader is a WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT like myself, there is an important TIP that is helpful if brought to mind, to fully comprehend this message, which involves LIFTING our cognitive AWARENESS (as in the Erich Jantsch AWARENESS levels classification) from the lower levels (2 and 3) to level 1, … all of which is explained in this article, but which it may be helpful to briefly review UPFRONT.

Our WESTERN CULTURE AWARENESS is generally operating at the lower awaremess levels which are BOTH BINARY LOGIC based as with the CONSERVATIVE and LIBERAL viewpoints.  Examples of BINARY LOGIC are the “EITHER” innocent “OR” guilty determinations of the WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE SYSTEM, and the EITHER my ENTITLEMENT OR not my  ENTITLEMENT, wherein an individual “EITHER” owns “OR does not own, certain rights and privileges.

INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL AWARENESS which is QUANTUM LOGIC BASED accepts this LESS SIMPLE “BOTH/AND” relation as with WHORLING in FLOWING where WHORLING is PART OF THE APPEARANCE of FLOWING and THERE IS NO ACTUAL LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL THING-IN-ITSELF “WHORL”.

WESTERN CULTURE, ‘armed with’ NAMING and GRAMMAR based “LOCAL AUTHORING AGENTS” such as “WHORLS”, commonly CONSTRUCTS BINARY LOGIC BASED PSEUDO-REALITIES based on NAMING-INSTANTIATED, LOCAL EXPLICIT MATERIAL BEINGS” (such as WHORLS), notionally with GRAMMAR-given powers of LOCAL AUTHORING.

So, at the SIMPLEST AWARENESS LEVELS we support the CONSERVATIVE (AWARENESS LEVEL3) MALE-ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING dynamic as in ‘the HURRICANE is STIRRING UP the ATMOSPHERE’, while at the next LESS SIMPLE AWARENESS LEVEL we support the LIBERAL (AWARENESS LEVEL 2) FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING dynamic as in ‘the ATMOSPHERE is STIRRING UP the HURRICANE’. AWARENESS LEVELS 3 and 2, the lower two levels, cultive POLARIZED OPPOSITION, which is RESOLVED in AWARENESS LEVEL 1, however while AWARENESS LEVELS 3 and 2 are accessible with BINARY LOGIC, LEVEL 1 AWARENESS is QUANTUM LOGIC based.

QUANTUM LOGIC vis-à-vis BINARY LOGIC

INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL JUSTICE is NON-BINARY in that there is NO ASSUMPTION that the person HOLDING THE SMOKING GUN is the LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHOR of a “CRIME” whether JACK THE RIPPER or DONALD TRUMP and this has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SEVERITY OF THE ACTIONS AND EVENTS IN QUESTION, but rather to do with the precedence of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT over the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  In MODERN PHYSICS also in INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL JUSTICE, emergent events are understood as being of NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT origin, in which case the response to emergent VIOLENCE or SYSFUNCTION is the forming of a HEALING CIRCLE because the understanding is that when an INDIVIDUAL GOES BALLISTIC, the SOURCE is not in the INDIVIDUAL but in the web-of-relations in which the individual is a SINGLE STRAND. Indigenous aboriginal justice does NOT, therefore. seek REMEDIATION by ELIMINATING or INCARCERATING the ‘individual SMOKING GUN’ who is the CONDUIT for VENTING tensions cultivated within the relational matrix of society.  The indigenous aboriginal JUSTICE convokes a HEALING CIRCLE in order to resolve the TENSIONS in the relational social matrix which source the VIOLENT VENTING that manifests through the ‘IDENTIFIED PATIENT’ or the ‘MINER’S CANARY’.    This indigenous aboriginal understanding of TORT is that it belongs to the social relational collective and merely VENTS through an individual.

In the indigenous aboriginal and QUANTUM PHYSICS view, the LOGIC employed is QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM rather than simple BINARY LOGIC, the EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (i.e. the presumed EMPTY SPACE MEDIUM which constrains the AUTHORING of actions to the MATERIAL OCCUPANTS of the notional EMPTY SPACE).   OUR OWN SENSE-EXPERIENCE INTUITION informs us, nevertheless, the WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE notion of INNOCENT UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY is a SMOKE-SCREEN for a DYSFUNCTIONAL ‘NORMALITY’; i.e. “What we call ‘normal’  (in our WESTERN CULTURE) is a product of repression, denial, splitting, projection, introjection and other forms of destructive action on experience.”   — R.D. Laing

In other words, dysfunction within the dynamics of the social collective which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) is the source of LOCAL, EXPLICIT aberrant actions and developments, so that the REMEDY is to heal the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT tensions in the social relational matrix, which is what the HEALING CIRCLE is designed for.  To MIS-IDENTIFY as the SOURCE, the LOCAL, EXPLICIT ‘VENTING AGENT’ through which tensions in the social relational matrix find manifest expression, is to absolve the social collective while SCAPE-GOATING the one holding the smoking gun.  WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC JUSTICE MISINTERPRETS the LOCAL, EXPLICIT VENTING AGENT as the AUTHORING SOURCE when the reality is that the SOURCING is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) arising from tensions generated within the social relational matrix of community, in which case REMEDIATION is achievable through the QUANTUM LOGIC means of restoring balance by resolving relational tensions, rather than by BINARY LOGIC means of ELIMINATING or INCARCERATING the SMOKING GUN, WRONGLY IDENTIFIED as the AUTHORING SOURCE while only the VENT through which the build up of relational tension find expression.

The problem being stirred up by TRUMP is coming from the DYSFUNCTION that is inherent in the use of BINARY LOGIC based reasoning which can be split into CONFLICTING VARIANTS which are CONSERVATIVE and LIBERAL, both of which are OVER-SIMPLIFIED and IN ERROR, being seeming alternative ways of explaining LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development, the CONVERVATIVES believing that the INDIVIDUAL is the ROOT SOURCE of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments and the LIBERALS believing that the SOCIAL COLLECTIVE is the ROOT SOURCE of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments.  Whereas, indigenous aboriginals and QUANTUM LOGIC is affirming that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING of EXPLICIT results, there is only TRANSFORMING of the LANDSCAPE which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC based).  For example, there is TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, but THERE IS NO ‘TOWN’ THAT IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING things as if ‘in its own local authoring right, as in a BINARY LOGIC based PROPOSITION.

ENTITLEMENT VERSUS BALANCE

HUMANS as if with ENTITLEMENT (rights of ownership of “what is out there”) versus INCLUSIONS as BALANCE-based condensations (e.g. humanings) in the all-including PLENUM.

In WESTERN CULTURE, the abstract concept of ENTITLEMENT over-rides BALANCE so that, for example, todays CEOs have conspired to raise their wages as compared to the average worker to a huge disparity on the ABSTRACT basis of ENTITLEMENT (supported by their control over compensation rates).

Using the CEO granted compensation measure, the CEO-to-worker compensation ratio fell to 221-to-1 in 2022, significantly lower than its peak of 396-to-1 in 2000 but still many times higher than the 45-to-1 ratio of 1989 or the 15-to-1 ratio of 1965.    https://www.epi.org/  (Economic Policy Institute)

“ENTITLEMENT” is a WESTERN CULTURE BINARY (“EITHER/OR”) LOGIC concept that is UNGROUNDED IN BALANCE.

 “BALANCE” is a QUANTUM (“BOTH/AND”) LOGIC concept which is standard in indigenous aboriginal cultures as can be seen in the Potlatch custom;

As Chief Maquinna of the Nootkas observes;

“Once I was in Victoria, and I saw a very large house; they told me it was a bank and that the white men place their money there to take care of, and that by-and-by they got it back, with interest. We are Indians and have no such bank; but when we have plenty of money or blankets, we give them away to other chiefs and people, and by-and-by they return them, with interest, and our hearts feel good. Our potlatch is our bank”— ‘First People First Voices’, edited by Penny Petrone, University of Toronto Press, 1991]  I.E.  NATURAL BALANCE prevails over ENTITLEMENT in indigenous aboriginal culture.

“ENTITLEMENT” is the WESTERN CULTURE ALLOCATION SCHEME which aligns with SOCIAL STRUCTURE and MILITARY MIGHT; i.e. the relatively greater prosperity within and across NATIONS is driven by ENTITLEMENT built into the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY system which can lead to DEVASTATING IMBALANCE as preceded the FRENCH REVOLUTION (which recalls Marie Antoinette’s response to starving masses complaining of hunger “let them eat cake”).  While WESTERN CULTURE has and continues to embrace ENTITLEMENT, there has always been a BLURRING as to whether the BINARY of SUPERIOR and INFERIOR as applied to people derives from FINANCIAL RICHES and POVERTY or from SUPERIOR and INFERIOR PERSONAL QUALITIES.

In the WAVE-FIELD worldview of indigenous aboriginals and MODERN PHYSICS, the difference between the farmer’s bumper crop and crop failure is due primarily to the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING of solar and atmospheric conditions and secondarily to the farmer’s MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING efforts and while BOTH of these conjugate influences are acknowledged in flow-based languages (e.g. ‘there is healthy developing of vegetation in the temperate and sunny climate’).  This usage is QUANTUM LOGIC based, the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM wherein we make mention of BOTH the male asserting GROWTH of crops IN CONJUGATE RELATION with the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate ‘temperate and sunny climate’.  HOWEVER, in our common WESTERN CULTURE linguistic conceptualizing, it is common to DROP OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING (wave-field) conjugate and say things like; ‘the farmers produced bumper crops’.  This DUMBING DOWN from QUANTUM LOGIC to BINARY LOGIC is common in WESTERN CULTURE linguistic conceptualizing and is achieved by simply DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate (i.e. “in the temperate and sunny climate”) leaving the sense that “the farmers produced bumper crops” in an absolute empty and infinite space.  

It is this WESTERN CULTURE habit of using BINARY LOGIC based ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ONLY linguistic conceptualizing that leads to ‘theories of evolution’ of new material forms WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDING the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate, and giving FULL AND SOLE CREDIT to the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING.  In the QUANTUM LOGIC understanding, it is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that inductively pulls forth the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING.

“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose”….’There is a tide in the affairs of men”.  These aphorisms emphasize the LEAD ROLE of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate as in WAVE-DYNAMICS GENERALLY.

The MALE ASSERTING ACTUALIZING CONJUGATE is given FIRST BILLING IN WESTERN CULTURE because it is LOCAL and EXPLICIT; for example, ‘the TOWN IS GROWING’  is a one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING proposition which is drifting loose in empty space so that we DON’T HAVE TO EXPLAIN its relationship with its surroundings.

In indigenous aboriginal languages, which are flow-based, one would speak in such terms as There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ which is the full QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC expression where the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that is opening up to receive the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING TOWNING.

This “TIPS FOR THE WESTERN CULTURE READER OF THIS ARTICLE”  has been included as a reminder of how WESTERN CULTURE has put BINARY LOGIC … INTO AN UNNATURAL PRECEDENCE over QUANTUM LOGIC, the logic of BALANCE and IMBALANCE.   QUANTUM LOGIC is defined as the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which we can visualize in a spherical space such as the space on the surface of the sphere of the earth where we are GROWING THE AREA OF CULTIVATED LAND in which case there is CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS which means, overall TRANSFORMATION.   BINARY LOGIC support us in speaking in the ONE-SIDED TERMS of “GROWTH” of CULTIVATED LAND which is DECEPTIVE since all the while we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are “PUSHING THE GROWTH OF CULTIVATED AND INDUSTRIALIZED LAND”, … SOMETHING ELSE IS GOING ON WHICH WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT; i.e. the CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, which is certainly REAL ENOUGH as in AFFIRMED BY OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE, even if NOT MENTIONED in our standard WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING.  In other words, what is REALLY GOING ON HERE IS CHANGE IN “BALANCE” between CULTIVATED LAND and WILDERNESS and this change, being what is REALLY GOING ON, implies that ‘the GROWTH OF CULTIVATED LAND’ is “NOT REAL” but a simplifying BINARY LOGIC REDUCTION of the QUANTUM LOGIC REALITY (QUANTUM LOGIC is the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which comprehends the combination of MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING “GROWTH of CULTIVATION” and the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING “SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS”.

WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING commonly DROPS OUT MENTION OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS and This DROP OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS has been labelled ‘the DEA ABSCONDITA’ aka ‘the GODDESS IN HIDING’ since it is this ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS which makes possible the GROWTH of CULTIVATED LAND, these two conjugates together constituting overall TRANSFORMATION of the LANDSCAPE.

IN WESTERN CULTURE, THINGS GET CONFUSING BECAUSE OUR ‘STANDARD’ TALK or LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is in the ONE-SIDED TERMS of MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING.

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE, LINGUISTICALLY, WITH THIS DROPPING OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS (and substituting in its place a notional absolute empty and infinite space), IS THAT WE ARE SETTING UP THE ABSTRACT ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING CONCEPT OF ‘THE GROWTH of CULTIVATED CROPLANDS and INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT’, which is NOT REAL SINCE IT DROPS OUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS AND THUS OVERALL TRANSFORMING OF THE LANDSCAPE (i.e. there is only TRANSFORMATION which includes conjugate SHRINKING of WILDERNESS and thus OVERALL TRANSFORMATION).

OUR WESTERN CULTURE (linguistic conceptualizing) TREATMENT OF GROWTH AS REAL so that as we encourage GROWTH, WHAT WE ARE REALLY GETTING IS TRANSFORMATION “THAT WE, TOO, ARE INCLUDED IN”.  Meanwhile in our WESTERN CULTURE linguistic conceptualizing, with its BINARY LOGIC” EITHER MATTER OR EMPTY SPACE” construction,     there is a DROP OUT, …  that comes together with the patch-up of the imputing of EMPTY SPACE, …  of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING (SHINKING WILDERNESS).  These two conjugates (MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING and FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING) constitute the QUANTUM “BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM” UNDERSTANDING.  In this QUANTUM LOGIC linguistic conceptualizing, WE NOW INCLUDE OURSELVES IN THE DYNAMIC, rather than, as with BINARY LOGIC, giving only, in our linguistic conceptualizing, a ONE-SIDED VOYEUR VIEW of the SPLIT OFF ON ITS OWN, MALE ASSERTING, LOCAL and EXPLICIT GROWTH OF CROPLAND (minus any mention of the conjugate SHRINKING of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT WILDERNESS).  The QUANTUM LOGIC understanding is in terms of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (aka WAVE-FIELD) in which MATERIAL FORMS such as HUMANINGS are CONDENSATIONS THEREIN.  THIS IS PUTTING OUR UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY on the same basis as the UNDERSTANDING of INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS; i.e. where the understanding is that all material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM as is consistent with; “This we know, the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. … Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”— “Chief Seattle”

END OF TIPS FOR THE WESTERN CULTURE READER OF THIS ARTICLE:  which can be summed up in the terms that; …  BINARY LOGIC based linguistic conceptualizing IS NOT CONCEPTUALIZING of our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY, it is CONCEPTUALIZING based solely and ONE-SIDEDLY on the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate while DROPPING OUT all mention of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate which is meanwhile being automatically acknowledged in our SENSE-EXPERIENCING; i.e. we are SENSE-EXPERIENCE AWARE of the SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS that is CONJUGATE with the GROWTH of CULTIVATED AND INDUSTRIALIZED LAND, however, our simplifying BINARY LOGIC linguistic conceptualizing SPEAKS ONLY OF THE GROWTH OF CULTIVATED and INDUSTRIALIZED LAND … DROPPING OUT MENTION OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS.  This talk of GROWTH in one-sided terms that encourages INVESTMENT to FUEL MORE GROWTH (which is profitable), DROPS OUT acknowledgement of the conjugate SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, which, together with the GROWTH of CULTIVATED/INDUSTRIALIZED LAND constitutes TRANSFORMATION of the LANDSCAPE.

SO, what we are promoting here is what Nietzsche labels ‘THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR’ that imputes LOCAL BEING-BASED AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT’.  That which in indigenous aboriginal culture would be a dynamic relational feature such as a TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC is implicit here; i.e. in that the TOWNING is INCLUDED in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE in the manner that WHORLING is included in FLOWING.

The DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR not only imputes the existence of “BEING” where there is only flowing, but conflates this first error with the second error of GRAMMAR that imputes to the FIRST ERROR OF ‘NAMING-INSTANTIATED-BEING”, … “ITS OWN GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

CHAPTER 5 The Coming of Disease

The Garden of Eden

The letters and diaries of the first settlers on the eastern seaboard of North America portray it as a Garden of Eden with its Native peoples living in a state of peace and harmony, welcoming their new visitors and showing them new foods and medicines.  Similar accounts of this balance, connection to the environment , and deep sense of  the sacredness of all things can be found in the writings of explorers who made early contact with the Indigenous peoples in several other areas of the world.

Philosophers of the time hailed such societies as the aboriginal state of humanity.  They wrote of the “noble savage” and of people who may have escaped the fall of man.  Systems of government such as the Iroquoian league of nations and other confederations pointed the way to those Europeans who sought to free themselves from the tyranny of kings.  Indeed the political philosophy of the Iroquois people found its way into the Constitution of the United States of America, and there is evidence that Thomas More’s Utopia, an account of the ideal state of human society was written after that author had received descriptions of the Mayan civilization of Central America.

My own philosophical investigations point to such major social change as being associated with the FALL FROM UNDERSTANDING the world in LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC TERMS where everything is related, to UNDERSTANDING the world in SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC TERMS where everything is disconnected (independent).  There is no question that these two very different modes of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING are ‘in operation’ in the world today, and that indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents continue to embrace the QUANTUM LOGIC “INTEGRATING” worldview while WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS continue to embrace the BINARY LOGIC “DIFFERENTIATING” worldview.

For example, ‘mitakuye oyasin’ is an indigenous aboriginal expression that affirms belief in the connectedness of all things which is in radical opposition to WESTERN CULTURE’S ‘DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE’ and Darwinian ‘survival of the fittest’ orientation, as in the .

Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ (All Are Related) is a phrase from the Lakota language. It reflects the world view of interconnectedness held by the Lakota people of North America.[1] This concept and phrase is expressed in many Yankton Sioux prayers,[2] as well as by ceremonial people in other Lakota communities.[3][4]

The phrase translates in English as “all my relatives,” “we are all related,” or “all my relations.” It is a prayer of oneness and harmony with all forms of life: other people, animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, and even rocks, rivers, mountains and valleys.[2]

From work in the 1940s, American scholar Joseph Epes Brown wrote a study of Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ and its relevance in the Sioux ideology of “underlying connection” and “oneness.”[5]  — Wikipedia

In WESTERN CULTURE, the historical understanding of relations in nature is based on DIFFERENTIATION (the reduction of relational forms to BEINGS) and a HIERARCHY of the ‘DIFFERENT BEINGS’,  rather than the indigenous aboriginal WEB-OF-LIFE INTEGRATION and INTERDEPENDENCE (as ALSO in Modern physics and Systems Science.

The INTEGRATED DIVINITY in the ALL-INCLUDING ONE-NESS in the reality of indigenous aboriginals or NOBLE SAVAGE is in marked contrast to the DIFFERENTIATED CHAIN OF BEING in WESTERN CULTURE’s DISCONNECTED DIVERSITY featuring a GREAT VARIETY OF INDEPENDENT ENTITIES as pictured in THE GREAT CHAIN OF BEING.

The ABSTRACT CONCEPT OF BEING, which has NO PLACE in the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka WAVE-FIELD wherein MATERIAL FORMS are CONDENSATIONS OF (INCLUSION IN) THE ENERGY CHARGED PLENUM, secures a foundational role, in WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING for the ABSTRACTION of “MATERIAL BEING” which continues to be reflected in WESTERN CULTURE “BELIEF” in ‘INDEPENDENT NATIONS” and “INDEPENDENT HUMAN BEINGS” and pretty much “INDEPENDENT EVERYTHING” as is secured by what Nietzsche has termed ‘the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

The FIRST ERROR in the DOUBLE ERROR is where we use NAMING to impute LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL BEING.

The SECOND ERROR in the DOUBLE ERROR is where we use GRAMMAR to impute the POWER OF LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development to the FIRST ERROR of INVENTED BEING.

This DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR provides the FOUNDATION for a FRAGMENTED and OBSCURANTIST LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION of  “REALITY”; i.e. a linguistic PSEUDO-REALITY that is FITTING support for the BEING based ‘reality constructions’ that we WESTERN CULTURE AHERENTS continue to use as our OPERATIVE REALITY..

MODERN PHYSICS is meanwhile SUPPORTING THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CONCEPTUALIZATION of ‘REALITY’ which is QUANTUM LOGIC based wherein MATERIAL FORMS are understood as CONDENSATIONS of an all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, which means that EVERYTHING IS RELATED (mitakuye oyasin).

While this QUANTUM LOGIC REALITY may be the “ACCEPTED WESTERN CULTURE UNDERSTANDING”, … there is NO WAY that WESTERN CULTURE SIMPLISTIC BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS can be EASILY RETIRED and replaced by the LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS.   For example, what is needed is to REPLACE BINARY LOGIC linguistic conceptualizations based on BEING such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING’, with QUANTUM LOGIC linguistic conceptualizations which are entirely fluid such as ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ which is ENTIRELY FLUID.

As Zen scholar Alan Watts has suggested, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, in order to give our linguistic conceptualizations the needed fluid foundation, must DROP THE USE OF BEING based NAMES, replacing them with VERBS, or in other words, substitute the less simple ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ where everything is in NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT flux, for the SIMPLE LOCAL and EXPLICIT BEING based ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which, one may note, constitutes a REDUCTION from the androgynous combination of MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (as in ‘there is TOWNING’) and FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING  (as in ‘the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’).

WHILE THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, … there is NO “BEING” based THING-IN-ITSELF “TOWN”.

As soon as one sees that separate things are fictitious, it becomes obvious that nonexistent things cannot “perform” actions. The difficulty is that most languages are arranged so that actions (verbs) have to be set in motion by things (nouns), and we forget that rules of grammar are not necessarily rules, or patterns, of nature. The NEEDED CHANGE in our WESTERN CULTURE linguistic conceptualizing scheme is thus a change that RESTORES THE MISSING FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate that the WESTERN CULTURE linguistic conceptualizing scheme HAS DROPPED OUT in order to SIMPLIFY the linguistic conceptualizing.   QUANTUM LOGIC is LESS SIMPLE in that it conveys the INTERDEPENENCE and INTERCONNECTEDNESS that is beyond the expressive reach of BINARY LOGIC.  Where QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM can ‘handle’ continuing flux wherein the MATERIAL FORM is a CONDENSATION of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM can ONLY ‘HANDLE’ NAMING-INSTANTIATED ‘MATERIAL BEING’ with GRAMMAR MANIPULATED MOVEMENTS which only allows for MECHANICAL INTERACTIONS which are simpler than the TRANSFORMATION that is enabled by QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC that associates with the relational dynamics of MATERIAL CONDENSATIONS of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.

In other words, our WESTERN CULTURE NEED is to UPGRADE our language from its current SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC FOUNDATION to a less simple QUANTUM LOGIC FOUNDATION.

That is EASIER SAID THAN DONE because BINARY LOGIC is deeply and firmly ENTRENCHED into our currently operative WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME and so, for example, when we use the BINARY LOGIC based DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to say that JOE AUTHORED SUCH and SUCH an ACTION and DEVELOPMENT, and follow this up with PRAISE, STATUS and REWARDS, and or CRITICISM, DENIGRATION and PUNISHMENT, … ALL OF WHICH IS BASED ON THE BINARY LOGIC concept of LOCAL AUTHORING (“he EITHER authored it OR he did not author it”), our UPGRADING to LESS SIMPLE QUANTUM LOGIC requires “DISSOLVING THE LOCAL AUTHORING CONCEPT” and “EMBRACING IN ITS PLACE THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT PHENOMENA OF TRANSFORMATION”.  This is a change that would be easily achieved for an indigenous aboriginal, since he would be already GROUNDED in QUANTUM LOGIC AWARENESS, but we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have been GROUNDED in BINARY LOGIC based (limiting) AWARENESS where, for example, we “SEE” or at least we THINK WE SEE that ‘the TOWN IS GROWING” while the indigenous aboriginal, observing the same phenomena, will BE OPEN TO THEIR AWARENESS of the CONJUGATE SHRINKING of WILDERNESS, these two conjugate aspects of AWARENESS (male asserting/actualizing ‘growth’ of development and female accommodating/enabling ‘shrinking’ of wilderness) which are NOT TWO SEPARATE ACTIONS but the ONE ACTION of TRANSFORMATION OF THE LANDSCAPE.

EVIDENTLY, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS in our basing LANGUAGE on BINARY LOGIC, are DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE and SUBSTITUTING IN ITS PLACE, AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE of INFINITE EXTENT.

This DROP OUT of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (which has been termed the DEA ABSCONDITA or ‘HIDDEN GODDESS’) is part of the BINARY LOGIC user package.

MAKE NO MISTAKE, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE HABITUATED, AND NO LONGER EVEN AWARE, THAT THE LANGUAGE WE ARE USING IS REDUCING THE QUANTUM LOGIC of material CONDENSATIONS of the all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM to the SIMPLER BINARY LOGIC ABSOLUTE MATERIAL BEING OBJECTS in ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.

We may recall how indigenous aboriginals embrace QUANTUM LOGIC and AVOID BINARY LOGIC since QUANTUM BOTH/AND LOGIC fits with the thingless-connectedness of ‘all my relations’ (mitakuye oyasin) where everything is in flux, in which case, there is no “STAND-ALONE GOOD” or “STAND-ALONE BAD”, i.e. no “GOOD STAND-ALONE GOOD OR BAD BEINGS”, only RELATIONS which can be HARMONIOUS OR DISSONANT.

WHILE WESTERN CULTURE has historically given “THE” FOUNDATIONAL ROLE to BINARY LOGIC  which is the source of abstract INDEPENDENT BEINGS, QUANTUM LOGIC was given a foundational role in indigenous aboriginal cultures as is evident in the speech of Chief Seattle and others who affirmed that ‘everything is related’ (mitakuye oyasin) which cultivates an sensitivity to relations in general and to an AWARENESS of INTEGRATION as contrasts with the WESTERN CULTURE orientation to DIFFERENTIATION, and an understanding that is LOCAL and EXPLICIT oriented as one takes apart the grasshopper and knows the names of all of its COMPONENT PARTS, while remaining relatively unaware of the thing in terms of ‘all its relations’ as in the environmental niche which is its raison d’etre, as contrasts with the simplistic REDUCTIONIST understanding of the thing BY ITS “COMPONENT PARTS”.

BINARY LOGIC supports DIFFERENTIATION and knowing things by NAMING THEM which imputes INDEPENDENT BEING to them in contrast to the QUANTUM LOGIC INTEGRATION supported by the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM wherein we may understanding ‘things’ in terms of their being INCLUDED within the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.

QUANTUM LOGIC supports INTEGRATION while BINARY LOGIC supports DIFFERENTIATION and WESTERN CULTURE has given a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE to BINARY LOGIC based DIFFERENTIATED BEINGS.

QUANTUM LOGIC supports understanding through INTEGRATION as when we know a person or thing by way of the web of relations that they share inclusion in.  This OPTION of understanding by way of INTEGRATION that taps into the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (in the manner of a CONDENSATION of the WAVE-FIELD) … is very different from BINARY LOGIC which supports understanding through DIFFERENTIATION of the notional THING-IN-ITSELF which is, unfortunately has become the MOST POPULAR in WESTERN CULTURE as Charles Dickens laments by way of the narrative in ‘Hard Times’ where Sissy Jupe is read the riot act by her teacher, Gradgrind, for having expressed a romantic view of horses.

REDUCTIONISM, which is ROOTED IN BINARY LOGIC BASED DIFFERENTIATION WHERE THINGS ARE UNDERSTOOD BY REDUCING THEM TO THEIR OWN LOCAL AND EXPLICIT PARTS HAS BEEN “TAKING OVER” IN WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING at the EXPENSE OF INTEGRATION WHERE THINGS ARE UNDERSTOOD BY WAY OF THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT WEB-OF-RELATIONS THEY ARE INCLUDED IN.    This VIEW OF REALITY is of the CONDENSATION of the WAVE-FIELD as in Modern physics which has been described as follows;  We are living in a RELATATIONAL WORLD WITHOUT ‘BEING’, where material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the fluid, ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM wherein everything is in flux, and thus the linguistic conceptualizing of this flowing reality DOES NOT HAVE ANY DEPENDENCY ON BEING, and this NON-DEPENDENCY on anything LOCAL and EXPLICIT leads to the developing of the QUANTUM PHYSICS ‘BOOTSTRAPPING’ approach described by QUANTUM PHYSICS researcher Geoffrey Chew as follows;

On can think of it as follows; every CONDENSATION of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (aka WAVE-FIELD) is only an APPEARANCE like a WHORLING in FLOWING which appears to exist IN ITS OWN RIGHT but is in reality a system of relations which has NO BASIS IN “BEING” and which BELONGS to the TRANSFORMING/FLOWING in which it is ‘making its appearance’..

SO, IS THERE A “NOBLE SAVAGE” IN US ALL THAT OUR BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE HAS REMOVED?

I don’t know what the reader is thinking here, but I can share my view, which is like Ronald Laing’s

“What we call ‘normal’ (in our WESTERN CULTURE), is a product of repression, deinal, splitting, projection, introjection and other forms of destructive action on experience” — R. D. Laing

Which is also the view of Bohm, Schroedinger, Laing in “The Divided Self”, anthropologist Jules Henry in “Culture Against Man”, and Ernest Becker in ‘the “Denial of Death”.

The MESSAGE HERE is that WESTERN CULTURE “AS A WHOLE” is becoming INCREASINGLY DYSFUNCTIONAL just that the CONSERVATIVES are CRAZY while the LIBERALS are SANE, the whole WESTERN CULTURE SYSTEM IS CRAZY and that CRAZINESS is the SOURCE of FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANTISM, as Bohm has written about;

It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable,while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc.

I would agree that that LIBERALS seem LESS CRAZY than CONSERVATIVES (there is good reason for this per Jantsch’s 3 LEVELS OF AWARENESS where CONSERVATIVES ARE SIMPLEST LEVEL3 while LIBERALS are LESS SIMPLE LEVEL 2) but CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS ARE BOTH SMITTEN WITH the SAME CRAZINESS of promoting belief in DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE which is leading to rising FRAGMENTATION in the world as Bohm describes in the above quote from his 1980 book “Wholeness and the Implicate Order”.  The CONSERVATIVE – LIBERAL SPLIT is part of the WESTERN CULTURE FRAGMENATION DYSFUNCTION that Bohm is talking about.  This FRAGMENTATION is coming from the use of simple BINARY LOGIC in our linguistic conceptualizations where less QUANTUM LOGIC is needed.  For example, both CONSERVATIVES and LIBERALS employ SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC in DECLARING THE INDEPENDENCE OF NATIONS which is IMPOSSIBLE since as our sense-experience affirms, “we live in a world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence”.

ANOTHER WESTERN CULTURE CRAZINESS is the belief in LOCAL AUTHORING which comes from what Nietzsche describes as the “DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR” where we say things like “RUSSIA did such and such while UKRAINE retaliated doing such and such”, … and … “HAMAS did such and such while ISRAEL retaliated doing such and such”.

We liven in a relational world where strife is relational dissonance and harmony is relational resonance and there is no cush thing as MATERIAL BEINGS with POWERS of LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT.  Such BINARY LOGIC ABSTRACTION is UNREAL and is the source of FRAGMENTATION.  WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON, in our sense-experience affirmed reality, is that we are included in a transforming fluid continuum wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX and there are no LOCAL, EXPLICIT BEINGS with GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING.  The ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM is a UNUM aka a WAVE-FILED within which there are material CONDENSATIONS and this ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM is undergoing continuing TRANSFORMATION wherein everything is in flux.

WESTERN CULTURE supports the FALSE (non sense-experience affirmable) BINARY LOGIC notion of the EXISTENCE of NAMING-INSTANTIATED LOCAL, EXPLICIT BEINGS with GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS of LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS.

MODERN PHYSICS supports the REAL (sense-experience affirmable) QUANTUM LOGIC relation of the EXISTENCE of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM within which there are material CONDENSATIONS, this combination constituting a QUANTUM LOGIC BOTH/AND RELATION.

The WESTERN CULTURE DRIVEN WORLD ECONOMY is committing an EVERY-GREATER portion of human resources and natural resources to BINARY LOGIC “EITHER THEM OR US” WAR.  SUCH BINARY LOGIC FRAGMENTATION IS ABSTRACTION.  We are all strands in the one web-of-life or in other worIn ds, we are all condensations of the one energy-charged plenum as affirmed in QUANTUM PHYSICS and in indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.

BINARY LOGIC supports the AMPLIFYING/PROLIFERATING of GOOD BEINGS and the ATTENUATING/ELIMINATING of BAD BEINGS.  BUT THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS BEINGS, there are only RELATIONS that we all share inclusion in, in which case there can only be QUANTUM LOGIC as with the combination of RELATIONAL RESONANCE and/or RELATIONAL DISSONANCE, where the REMEDY for RELATIONAL DISSONANCE is the RE-CULTIVATING OF RELATIONAL RESONANCE.

The important difference in quantum logic is that

QUANTUM LOGIC is the LESS SIMPLE operative logic of a world-in-flux (relational transformation);

While BINARY LOGIC is TOO SIMPLE “BECAUSE, IN SUPPORTING ABSOLUTE “BEING” IN EMPTY SPACE, BINARY LOGIC DROPS OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM and that DROPPING OUT is the source of FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANTISM.

Here we see the TWO CHOICES for linguistic conceptualizing of the world of our sense-experience.  The BINARY LOGIC choice which SPLITS MAN APART FROM THE EARTH AND OPENS THE WAY TO THE NOTION OF MAN BEING ABLE TO “EXPLOIT THE EARTH”.

AND, the QUANTUM LOGIC CHOICE which sees MAN and ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in a BOTH/AND RELATION where the MAN is BOTH HIMSELF and the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM HE IS INCLUDED IN.  In this QUANTUM LOGIC understanding, MAN, by BEING A CONDENSATION OF THE TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, is RELATED TO EVERYTHING as expressed by ‘mitakuye oyasin’.

Personally, I have no problem with ‘letting go’ of our WESTERN CULTURE BINARY LOGIC belief system (some ‘conditioned reflexes persist), restoring the QUANTUM LOGIC understanding wherein we are included in the PLENUM, and find the BINARY LOGIC abstraction of oneself as an “INDEPENDENT BEING” an unsupportable ABSTRACTION which is the WESTERN CULTURE CRAZY-MAKER that is the source of FRAGMENTATION and OBSCURANTISM.  (i.e. by way of the DROPPING OUT of WESTERN CULTURE language, the FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING conjugate; aka the DEA ABSCONDITA (Goddess in Hiding).
