THE WORLD TODAY IS EXPERIENCING THE VIOLENT BLOSSOMING OF AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING 

INTRODUCTION:

Schroedinger’s “SUBJECT AND OBJECT ARE ONLY ONE” is saying the same thing as Chief Seattle’s ….“Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”  This means that WE are NOT INDEPENDENT BEINGS because as Modern physics informs us, material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (WAVE-FIELD) which accords with the indigenous aboriginal STRANDS IN THE WEB relation which is the NON-BINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM relation.

This essay explains the INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING that has been built into WESTERN CULTURE (and Judaic, Christian, Islamic) BELIEF IN BINARY LOGIC-based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that is having a MAJOR IMPACT on the GLOBAL SOCIAL DYNAMIC through the spread of, and now globally popular use of BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.  This (TOO-) SIMPLE LOGIC MISREPRESENTS the STRAND IN THE WEB as an INDEPENDENT BEING which leads to PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE (the IDENTIFYING and PUNISHING (or ELIMINATING) of the ‘PURPORTED LOCAL AUTHORS’ of VIOLENT or PROBLEMATIC ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS.   I say ‘PURPORTED LOCAL AUTHORS’, because, by contrast, Indigenous aboriginal, Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta JUSTICE IS RESTORATIVE due to the UNDERSTANDING that the AUTHORING of EVENTS (VIOLENT or OTHERWISE, is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT as in the STRAND in the WEB metaphor where the STRAND that becomes VIOLENT is so because it is VENTING a buildup of TENSIONS in the WEB in which case the STRAND that becomes VIOLENT is NOT THE AUTHOR of such VIOLENCE and this is why JUSTICE is RESTORATIVE, where the full community accepts responsibility for RELATIONAL DISSONANCE IN THE WEB  (the actual source of the VIOLENCE) and employs remedial responses such as “the HEALING CIRCLE” that do NOT fall prey to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as is the INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING OF WESTERN CULTURE PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE which WRONGLY IDENTIFIES “A LOCAL AUTHOR” of VIOLENCE even though the AUTHORING is actually NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) since it is coming through the WEB to the STRAND or in other words, THROUGH THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM to the CONDENSATION.

As Schroedinger points out, WE (WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS) ARE MISTAKEN IN OUR ATTRIBUTING OF the VIOLENCE of a STRAND to the STRAND since the STRAND (individual) in the WEB (social collective) is only the CONDUIT for the VENTING of TENSIONS that build within the WEB (social collective).

Here we are going to reaffirm the UNDERSTANDING that ARISTOTLE MISSED and which CONSTITUTES AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH which I would call “THE TRADE-OUT OF THE REAL NON-BINARY BOTH/AND (ANDROGYNOUS) LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM STRUCTURE OF THE WORLD OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE for the TOO-SIMPLE, SYNTHETIC BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM WHEREIN WE ‘DROP OUT’ THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE, REDUCING THE ANDROGYNOUS BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM which is consistent with our SENSE-EXPERIENCE to the ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING OF BINARY LOGIC which is an INTELLECTUAL REDUCTION to a SIMPLE PSEUDO-REALITY WHICH IS NOT CONSISTENT WITH OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE.  Here is an example of the REDUCTION;

-2- THE COMMON WESTERN CULTURE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM CONCEPTUALIZATION which is given THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING and consistent with NEWTONIAN MECHANICS based PHYSICS; “The TOWN (as a LOCAL, EXPLICIT THING-IN-ITSELF) is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” which is a conceptualization employing the abstractions of ABSOLUTE MATERIAL BEING and ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE in a BINARY LOGIC based COMBINATION wherein ‘the TOWN is “PORTRAYED” AS IF ABLE TO GROW, DEVELOP and PRODUCE goods “BY WAY OF ITS OWN LOCAL AUTHORING POWER” as if it were situated within “AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE”.

This MISTAKE of trading out, by way of our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, the NATURAL SIMULTANEOUS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT unity and plurality of the cosmos, BY SUBSTITUTING IN ITS PLACE, the UNNATURAL SEQUENTIAL LOCAL and EXPLICIT independence and fragmentation by way of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR (Nietzsche) PSEUDO-REALITY based construction has inflicted us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS with a FRAGMENTED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING of that which in our SENSE-EXPERIENCE IS the NATURAL SIMULTANEOUS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT unity and plurality, … AS IS ACKNOWLEDGED IN FLOW-BASED LANGUAGES such as INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL languages and as in BOHM’S ‘Rheomode’ language.

The WESTERN CULTURE SUBSTITUTING of SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM for the Modern physics grounded and indigenous aboriginal standard of NON-BINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM is providing us with a SIMPLIFIED BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME at the EXPENSE OF the DROPPING OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE (the DEA ABSCONDITA or Goddess in Hiding) which gives us a stripped down BINARY LOGIC based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME supported ONLY by notional INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS as if WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, which we ANIMATE (in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS) with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

ACHTUNG!  NOTA BENE!   PROBLEMO!  (the DROP OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE which renders IMPOSSIBLE the conveying of WAVE-FIELD dynamics since we are leaving ourselves with a mess of INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS situated within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE which we must ANIMATE with GRAMMAR and where THERE IS NO CAPABILITY OF TRANSFORMATION, only MECHANICAL INTERACTION.  This is the source of INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING which as Bohm describes and gives UPFRONT NOTICE of in his classic ‘Wholeness and the Implicate Order’, … WARNING us of how this SHORTFALL in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is FRAGMENTING our UNDERSTANDING and literally DRIVING US CRAZY!  David Bohm has exposed our predicament in his LEADOFF CHAPTER (1) in  “WHOLENESS AND THE IMPLICATE ORDER”, copied here as follows;

1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc.

Bohm IS REFERRING TO “US”, to “US USERS OF “BEING” and thus BINARY LOGIC-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES.  That is, Bohm IS NOT REFERRING TO indigenous aboriginals and others (Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents).   Elsewhere Bohm acknowledges how indigenous aboriginals and other USERS OF FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES are ON THE RIGHT TRACK!   For example;

What is needed, Bohm argued in his book Wholeness and the Implicate Order, is a new sort of language, one based on processes and activity, transformation and change, rather than on the interactions of stable objects. A few months before his death, Bohm met with a number of Algonkian speakers and was struck by the perfect bridge between their language and worldview and his own exploratory philosophy. What to Bohm had been major breakthroughs in human thought — quantum theory, relativity, his implicate order and rheomode – were part of the everyday life and speech of the Blackfoot, Mic Maq, Cree and Ojibwaj.” – F. THE FLY IN THE OINTMENT IS BINARY LOGIC.  THE FLOW-BASED LANGUAGES ARE NONBINARY LOGIC based.  BINARY LOGIC, AS DISCUSSED ABOVE, LIMITS OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO, FOR EXAMPLE; “The TOWN (as a LOCAL, EXPLICIT THING-IN-ITSELF) is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” while our WESTERN CULTURE BEING-BASED LANGUAGES are BINARY (giving us a choice of “EITHER” material objects and ‘their’ motion “OR” absolute EMPTY SPACE that serves as a PLAYGROUND for the movement and interactions of “MATERIAL OBJECTS”.

INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, ON THE OTHER HAND, are using NONBINARY linguistic conceptualizing systems which support CONCEPTUALIZATIONS which employ NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM where EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX and what appears to us as MATERIAL FORMS are CONDENSATIONS OF THE ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM as captured with FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS such as “There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”.

The comparison of BINARY and NON-BINARY LOGIC is repeated here for convenience of reference;

So, if we consider the ALARMIST TITLE TO THIS SERIES OF NOTES; i.e. THE WORLD TODAY IS EXPERIENCING THE VIOLENT BLOSSOMING OF AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING  we are now in possession of the supportive information (-1- and -2- ) that shows how this is the case; i.e. THE MISUNDERSTANDING IS COMING FROM OUR WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT MISTAKE of GIVING THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO BINARY LOGIC (-2-) “The TOWN (as a LOCAL, EXPLICIT THING-IN-ITSELF) is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” rather than GIVING THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to NONBINARY LOGIC (-1-) “There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”.

UP UNTIL THE PRESENT, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO MAKE THE NEEDED SWITCH FROM -2-, giving the FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM, … to -1-, giving the FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM.

THIS AMOUNTS TO A ‘DUMBING DOWN’ OF OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH which is the source of “AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING”.

THIS INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING IS CURRENTLY PLAYING OUT IN THE DIVIDING OF WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS INTO ‘CONSERVATIVES’ AND ‘LIBERALS’ BASED ON THE “FALSE BELIEF” IN (LOCAL ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR based) “LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS”.

The BINARY LOGIC based notion of LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHORING ACTION (e.g. “he EITHER did it OR did not do it”) is UNREAL ABSTRACTION based on OUR USE OF THE DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR (e.g. ‘THE PERSON IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods’ By using BINARY LOGIC in this manner, we are BLOCKING or SHUTTING OUT THE POSSIBILITY of ACKNOWLEDGING THE NATURAL PRIMACY OF THE “NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT DYNAMIC OF TRANSFORMATION” as in FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING such as “THERE IS PEOPLING IN THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM”).

NOTICE THAT IN THE LATTER NONBINARY LOGIC CONCEPTUALIZING, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX AND THERE IS NO “LOCAL AUTHORING”.

NOW WE GET TO SEE WHERE THE DIVISIVE SPLIT INTO ‘CONSERVATIVE’ AND ‘LIBERAL’ VIEWPOINTS HAVE COME FROM; I.E.  THEY ARE COMING FROM THE UNREAL ABSTRACTION of “LOCAL AUTHORING” because in our using LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to “INVENT” THE NOTION OF “LOCAL AUTHORING”, we must GET RID OF the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE which is the INDUCTIVE ASPECT of the AUTHORING IN TRANSFORMATION and we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have been doing this by using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which contrives the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate as if WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  Our IMPUTING of the ‘existence’ of an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE is, AT THE SAME TIME, the BINISHMENT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE, hence talk of the DEA ABSCONDITA (Goddess in Hiding) since the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM is persistently present and is the source of the CONDENSATIONS which manifest MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING dynamics; i.e. THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING AGENTS DO NOT LIVE IN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, BUT ARE CONJUGATE to the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING INFLUENCE.

ONLY WHEN WE ARTIFICIALLY (by USING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING) “SPLIT APART” the “CONIUNCTIO OPPOSITORUM” DO WE GET THE HOMELESS (EMPTY SPACE-BASED) MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING AGENT BUT THIS IS ONLY GOING ON IN “LA-LA LAND” because as HERACLITUS correctly noted, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, and there is NO EMPTY SPACE and equally there is no ABSOLUTE BEING based MATERIAL OBJECTS that need an EMPTY SPACE PLAYING FIELD.

The POINT IS that the CONSERVATIVE – LIBERAL SPLIT is a SPLITTING APART OF SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT EXIST; i.e. the POWER OF LOCAL AUTHORING which CONSERVATIVES claim IS COMING FROM THE POWERFUL INDIVIDUAL while LIBERALS are claiming that the POWER OF LOCAL AUTHORING is coming from the COOPERATING SOCIAL COLLECTIVE.

GUESS WHAT !  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “LOCAL AUTHORING”, it is the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.  AUTHORING IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT as is the basis of TRANSFORMATION.  THUS, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS POLARIZED CONSERVATIVE AND LIBERAL VIEWS OF REALITY.  As Jonathan Swift mockingly suggested, the CONSERVATIVE (TORY) – LIBERAL (WHIG) POLARIZING SPLIT had NO GROUNDING IN PHYSICAL REALITY and was thus comparable to a POLARIZING DIVISION over the question of WHICH END OF A BOILED EGG WAS THE PROPER END TO MAKE ENTRY TO EXTRACT THE CONTENTS.

So, the RAISON D’ÊTRE for the VERY EXISTENCE of the CONSERVATIVE – LIBERAL SPLIT IS MISSING.  The masses of people who are TAKING SIDES are TAKING SIDED ON THE PURE AND SOLE BASIS OF EGO BASED BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT,… on the part of ‘participants’ WHO CLAIM TO BE “LOCAL AUTHORS” OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS (thanks to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR) BUT WHO ARGUE OVER WHETHER THE ‘MAGIC’ OF LOCAL AUTHORING LIES WITHIN THE ‘INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL BEING’ or WHETHER THE ‘MAGIC’ of LOCAL AUTHORING LIES WITHIN THE ‘SOCIAL COLLECTIVE OF INDIVIDUAL INDEPENDENT BEINGS’).

Indigenous aboriginals have the understanding that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING, arguing that we are like STRANDS IN A WEB (or condensations in an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM) whereby we, as STRANDS, are VENTS for the RELEASE of TENSIONS that develop within the WEB.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS may “CLAIM TO BE” the LOCAL AUTHORS of THE HOUSE ON THE HILL but here I am simply falling into the INSIDIOUS WESTERN CULTURE MISUNDERSTANDING TRAP wherein we LET DROP FROM OUR MINDS the REAL SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMED REALITY of the ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in which we are CONDENSATIONS.  This is otherwise known as the ALL-INCLUDING RELATIONAL WEB in which we are STRANDS.   The WEB is a TRAP OR RESERVOIR FOR TENSIONAL POWER that can be VENTED THROUGH A STRAND IN THE WEB and when a STRAND does manifest VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR, … WHAT IS GOING ON IS “NOT” LOCAL AUTHORING, that AUTHORING is instead, NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, coming through the WEB and manifesting through the action of the STRAND.

We can model this STRAND IN THE WEB relation by making a web by tying elastic bands together, taping one edge of the matrix of elastic bands to the ceiling and hanging small weights to the bottom of the web and then pulling on the weights to put the web in motion and it will be a “complex” motion that we cannot find a mathematical solution for where the overall shape of the web is continually transforming.  That NON-SOLVABILITY OCCURS in the dynamics of our social relations since as CONDENSATIONS of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (as also describable as STRANDS IN THE WEB), our actions are INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT.  NO, WE ARE “NOT” INDEPENDENT BEINGS IN EMPTY SPACE WHO ARE FULLY AND SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN ACTIONS, but this MISTAKEN ASSUMPTION is part of the INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING THAT THIS NOTE IS EXPLAINING.  As STRANDS in a WEB we are like cars in a freeway flow whose movements are relative to the complexity of the flow our relational situation withing it.  In spite of the complexity, where there is a fender-bender, WESTERN JUSTICE because it is SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC based, will force-fit a BINARY LOGIC PERPETRATOR – VICTIME MODEL no matter if the real culprit was a stray do that darted across the freeway, inducing a long succession of braking, swerving and accelerating that involved many participants but who had dispersed well before the domino effect of swerving, braking and accelerating had cultimated in the fender-bender, leading to an equivalent of the SCAPE-GOATING OF THE IDENTIFIED PATIENT  (the LOCAL AUTHOR).

YES!  IT IS TRUE THAT WE LIVE WITHIN A TRANSFORMING CONTINUUM WHERE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “LOCAL AUTHORING” (there are NO LOCAL and EXPLICIT ENTITIES WITH THEIR OWN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS).  WHAT THERE IS, … ARE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT “STRANDS IN THE WEB” that SHOW UP (“APPEAR”) AS IF LOCAL AND EXPLICIT and BECAUSE we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS use a type of LANGUAGE that does NOT acknowledge their INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE through the WEB, we JUDGE THEIR ACTIONS TO BE FULLY AND SOLELY LOCALLY AUTHORED BY THEMSELVES, as we arrange in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS by using the DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR.

Modern physics and indigenous aboriginals use flow-based languages which are capable of conveying fluid transformation such as “THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE within which there are TOWNINGS” wherein everything is in flux and there are no FIXED and PERSISTING BEINGS with “their own powers of local authoring of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of PERSISTING FORMS, and where we BELIEVE WE ARE SEEING SUCH THINGS, further inquiry shows us that these apparently persisting forms are persisting forms in the manner that whirlpools and hurricanes are persisting forms; i.e. by way of Schaumkommen (Schroedinger’s word for APPEARANCE).

The PRIMARY REALITY is not the LOCAL and EXPLICIT AGENTS that are STIRRING THINGS UP (e.g. TRUMP) which are like HURRICANES.  But are HURRICANES stirred up by the ATMOSPHERE or is the ATMOSPHERE STIRRED UP BY HURRICANES?   This is a question that SPLITS people into OPPOSING CAMPS, the CONSERVATIVE CAMP that believes that the HURRICANE (heroic individual) STIRS UP THE ATMOSPHERE and the LIBERAL CAMP that believes that the ATMOSPHERE (heroic social collective) STIRS UP the HURRICANE.  In reality, it is NEITHER THE HURRICANE that STIRS UP the ATMOSPHERE NOR THE ATMOSPHERE THAT STIRS UP THE HURRICANE; i.e. it is the SOLAR IRRADIANCE that stirs up BOTH.

SUMMARY:

As Vygotsky points outs out, using his vocabulary of the “SPONTANEOUS” (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) and the SCIENTIFIC (LOCAL and EXPLICIT), these “TWO” are NOT “TWO” but just ONE as with the WAVE that consists of the CONJUGATES of PEAK and TROUGH, and as in NATURE generally where there is an EFFECTOR and RECEPTOR duo which are NOT TWO;

WESTERN CULTURE has MADE THE MISTAKE, as pointed out by Vygotsky, of THINKING THAT THESE “TWO SIDES OF THE SAME CONCEPT” can be treated as TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT THINGS (FIRST ERROR OF A DOUBLE ERROR) which opens the door to assessing the IMPORTANCE of EACH ONE (there is NO ‘EACH ONE’) and then DROPPING OUT THE SEEMINGLY LESS IMPORTANT ONE, THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT aspect, hence the emergent expression of THE DEA ABSCONDITA, the Goddess in Hiding) which points to how we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS are “FILLING IN” THE HOLE WHICH IS IN REALITY THE FUNDAMENTAL BASIS of REALITY; i.e. the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM. We are FILLING IN THE HOLE THE WE HAVE OPENED UP BY DROPPING OUT MENTION OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, WITH A NOTIONAL “ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE” that effectively NULLS OUT “THAT WHICH IS MOST FOUNDATIONAL to our reality which is the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka WAVE-FIELD.

This DROPPING OUT OF THE BASIC ESSENCE OF OUR REALITY; i.e. the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM IN WHICH WE ARE CONDENSATIONS AND SUBSTITUTING INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS IN AN EMPTY SPACE, DOES NOT OCCUR with the users of FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES WHERE INNATELY ANDROGYNOUS RELATIONSHIP of “CONDENSATION OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM” and “ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM” IS RETAINED.

[JUST TO BE CLEAR, I am using the term “LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES to make a point similar to that of Korzybski who points out that ‘the Word is not the thing’ (Alfred Korzybski’s famous phrase, “the word is not the thing,” highlights the crucial distinction between a concept or representation and the actual object or experience it refers to. It emphasizes that language, including words, symbols, and mental models, are abstractions that can never fully capture the complexity and nuances of reality.).  I say ‘similar to’ because while Korzybski leaves in the inference that THERE ARE ‘THINGS’, to be consistent with Modern physics, our language must acknowledge that “What we observe as material bodies and forces are nothing but shapes and variations in the structure of space. Particles are just schaumkommen (appearances)” —Erwin Schroedinger ]

Lev Vygotsky’s point that  “Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific concepts [local and explicit] and spontaneous concepts [nonlocal and implicit] represent two sides of the same concept formation” are referring to a WAVE STRUCTURE where PEAK (LOCAL and EXPLICIT) and TROUGH (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT are NOT separable but  represent two sides of the same concept formation where the androgynous concept in question is BOTH peak-AND-trough of the WAVE-FIELD.

ONE MUST KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE ARE IMPLICATIONS HERE THAT REAFFIRM UNDERSTANDINGS SUCH AS THE NICHE IN ECOSYSTEMS wherein the PURELY RELATIONAL ‘OPENING’ or ‘NICHE’ is an INDUCTIVE SHAPER of the UNFOLDING REALITY, which is OPPOSITE to the notion of BOTTOM UP CONSTRUCTION OF AN ORGANISM FROM GENETIC SEEDING which puts INSIDE-OUTWARD DETERMINISTIC DEVELOPMENT in (MISTAKEN) PRECEDENCE over OUTSIDE-INWARD INDUCTIVE SHAPING INFLUENCE.

The POINT HERE is that IT IS POINTLESS TO ARGUE AS WE DO OVER WHETHER IT IS NATURE OR NURTURE THAT IS DOING THE SHAPING, WITH HALF OF US TAKING THE REDUCTIONIST VIEW that GENETICS is foundational and THE OTHER HALF OF US TAKING THE HOLISTIC VIEW that ENVIRONMENT is foundational. In the ANDROGYNOUS WAVE-FIELD VIEW, the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHAPING INFLUENCE and the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING GENETIC SHAPING INFLUENCE represent two sides of the same concept formation.  

THE LARGER UNDERSTANDING IS THE COMPLEX CONJUGATE UNION of the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING and the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING which we can only GET TO if we suspend our VOYEUR VIEWING APPROACH and acknowledge that

IN other words, I NEED A FLOW-BASED LANGUAGE where I can use expressions such as ‘THERE ARE HUMANINGS IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE AND I AM ONE OF THEM’.   In this case, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, INCLUDING OURSELVES and WE HAVE AVOIDED THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR that imputes to ourselves, LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS, … as with THE TOWN IS GROWING and WE ARE THE AUTHORS OF THIS CONSTRUCTION, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods and services, ALL OF WHICH IS ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING “BULLSHIT” … which as Bohm points out,

So, we WESTERN CULTURE BELIEVERS IN AN OVER-SIMPLISTIC BINARY LOGIC BASED PSEUDO-REALITY THAT BRINGS US A VOYEUR VIEW OF THE WORLD WE ARE “ACTUALLY INCLUDED IN” REMAIN “LOCKED IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS” because our dominant RELIGIONS (Judaism, Christianity and Buddhism) are all PUSHING THE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM PSEUDO-REALITY (we have incorporated it in such DELUSIONS as the INDEPENDENT NATION DELUSION which is sustained by offering everyone OWNERSHIP of PIECES of what WE ARE ACTUALLY INCLUDED IN! … which as Bohm points out, is generating SCHIZOPHRENIA in our WESTERN CULTURE rank and file.

The INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING can be expressed in a number of ways, and one way is to describe the understanding and behaviour of people such as indigenous aboriginals WHO ARE NOT FALLING INTO THE TRAP OF BEING BEGUILED BY the INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING which happens when people recognize that RESTORATIVE JUSTICE makes sense (indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents) while PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE DOES NOT MAKE SENSE (the rewarding and celebrating of the LOCAL AUTHORS of GOOD, PRODUCTIVE WORKS together with the punishing and discouraging of the LOCAL AUTHORS of BAD, DESTRUCTIVE WORKS) as is the practice of WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS.

The metaphor of the STRAND IN THE WEB comes into play here because in the relationships implied by the STRAND IN THE WEB, the BEHAVIOUR OF THE INDIVIDUAL STRAND is RELATIVE to the DYNAMICS of the WEB which ONE IS A STRAND WITHIN, as in our situation in driving within the flow of heavy freeway traffic where, when a stray dog darts across the freeway, there is all manner of BRAKING and SWERVING and ACCELERATING which may “DISTURB THE FLOW” for miles, involving many people like a collison among cars in a race-track where the disturbance in the flow persists and makes the participating drivers ‘dance to the bullets they are dodging’ in which case, as with STRANDS IN THE WEB, we can say that THEIR BEHAVIOUR IS THEIR OWN BEHAVIOUR, but it is NOT the “THEIR OWN BEHAVIOUR” in the same sense as if they were driving in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT which is what WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION “PRETENDS”, by its use of the Nietzsche-identified “DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR” which implies “LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development.

In the STRAY DOG DARTING ACROSS THE FREEWAY example, nothing changes with ONE’S CLAIM that we, the driver behind the wheel, are responsible for the TRAJECTORY of the movement of our car, however, that TRAJECTORY is commonly mapped out and described by means of a Euclidian coordinate system or tracked with a GPS device, and what GOES MISSING is the TRANSFORMING shape of the openings of free space passageways which are a “FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING INFLUENCE that explains the ‘wiggles’ or ‘deviations’ in the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING of the TRAJECTORY.

What we are RUNNING INTO HERE is a mathematical theorem discovered by Kurt Goedel which establishes “THE INCOMPLETENESS OF ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS” which is saying that by using positive propositions such as ‘the DRIVER MOVED THIS WAY AND THEN THAT WAY’, this SAYS NOTHING about the SHAPE OF THE OPENING PASSAGEWAYS that are INDUCTIVELY SHAPING THE DRIVER DIRECTED MOVEMENTS/TRAJECTORY of the vehicle, so that we are left with an account of the MOVEMENT (TRAJECTORY) of the vehicle which as we know is DETERMINED BY THE DRIVER.   BUT WHAT WE DON’T TALK ABOUT IS THAT OUR TRAJECTORY, while WE ARE THE OSTENSIBLE AUTHORS OF IT, is INDUCTIVELY SHAPES by the relational dynamics we share inclusion in with many other drivers in the bucket of worms that is freeway traffic in busy periods.

THERE IS AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING HERE IN THAT WE ARE CREDITING THE DRIVER WITH THE MALE-ASSERTING AUTHORSHIP OF HIS TRAJECTORY WITHOUT MENTIONING THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CHANNEL OPENINGS THAT ARE INDUCTIVELY SHAPING THE MALE-ASSERTING AUTHORSHIP, leaving the impression that the SHAPING OF THE TRAJECTORY is FULLY and SOLELY AUTHORED by the DRIVER.  This is where Goedel’s Theorem is WARNING US about the DEA ABSCONDITA (Goddess in hiding) that is HIDDEN by the fact that our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME “DROPS OUT” the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE which is EVER-PRESENT in the REAL-WORLD DYNAMICS of our SENSE-EXPERIENCE (i.e. indigenous aboriginals, thanks to their FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME do NOT have this problem of the DEA ABSCONDITA, the disappearance FROM OUR LANGUAGE-BASED DESCRIPTIONS OF DYNAMICS, of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE that is the OUTSIDE-INWARD SHAPER of our MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING INSIDE-OUTWARD MOVEMENTS.    WE ARE “NOT” SEPARATE MATERIAL OBJECTS moving about in an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, we are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in which case what we are INCORRECTLY describing as the MOVEMENT OF THINGS is in sense-experience reality, the TRANSFORMING of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM IN WHICH AND ALL MATERIAL FORMS ARE CONDENSATIONS as is CAPTURED in the indigenous aboriginal STRANDS IN THE WEB METAPHOR “Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. THE WORLD TODAY IS EXPERIENCING THE VIOLENT BLOSSOMING OF AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING wherein WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE DESIGNED A LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT “DROPS OUT” THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE (THE WEB IN WHICH WE ARE A STRAND) hence the ‘DEA ABSCONDITA’ or GODDESS IN HIDING, … and WE SUBSTITUTE IN ITS PLACE THE ABSTRACTION OF AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE which is UNREAL and which is being used to SIMPLIFY OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TOOL so that we need only deal with, in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS, MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING “AS IF IN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE”, … so that we avoid the REAL WORLD COMPLEXITY wherein that is ALWAYS a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that is the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT shaper of our LOCAL and EXPLICIT actions and developments, and this means that, for example, WESTERN CULTURE PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE is CRAZY to put CREDENCE in LOCAL AUTHORING and give it a foundational role in a REWARDS and PUNISHMENTS SCHEME described to envourage “GOOD LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS” and to discourage “BAD LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS”  … where the NOTION of LOCAL AUTHORING IS BOGUS and is an artefact of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION that in this case of PURPORTED ‘LOCAL AUTHORING’ employs, as Nietzsche points out, the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

ACHTUNG!  NOTA BENE! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ‘LOCAL AUTHORING’ AND THUS NO BASIS FOR THE PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE OF WESTERN CULTURE.

What there IS, is STRAND IN THE WEB relations, as understood and employed in indigenous aboriginal cultures with a RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SYSTEM wherein where RELATIONAL DISSONANCE develops in the relational matrix (WEB) of community, the STRANDS IN THE WEB gather together in the HEALING CIRCLE to RE-CULTIVATE RELATIONAL RESONANCE (SOCIAL HARMONY) in the relational WEB of community.   In this understanding, THE “AUTHORING” of all events is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) while their LOCAL and EXPLICIT aspect is only, in Schroedinger’s language, “Schaumkommen” (APPEARANCE)

EGO has a major role to play in WESTERN CULTURE’S FALLING INTO THE TRAP OF BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORING as promoted by the use of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.  While the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate is always PRIMARY in its conjoint action with MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (which is how things APPEAR), the ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate, being LOCAL and EXPLICIT, is MOST EVIDENT as in the example of the “TOWN” that is GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING GOOD, which is just APPEARANCE (Schaumkommen) since what is REALLY OCCURRING IS THE TRANSFORMING OF THE LANDSCAPE which ackowledges the conjugate SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS (the DEA ABSCONDITA or HIDDEN GODDESS) which does not make it into our WESTERN CULTURE ‘BEING” based linguistic conceptualizing scheme.   Since our SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMS THE REALITY THAT THE LANDSCAPE IS TRANSFORMING (acknowledging both FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS TOGETHER WITH THE CONJUGATE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING GROWTH OF THE TOWN), … we are IN ERROR to speak of the TOWN as GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods as if this were REAL, because the REALITY is that we are included in TRANSFORMATION as captured in Chief Seattle’s statement; “Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” .

THERE IS NO ‘GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods’, there is only TRANSFORMATION which includes TOGETHER WITH THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ‘GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION’, the conjugate FEMALE ACCOMMODATING SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS which, together with MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING, constitutes what our sense-experience is informing us of, which is the overall TRANSFORMATION.

THUS, THE WORLD TODAY IS EXPERIENCING THE VIOLENT BLOSSOMING OF AN INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING wherein WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have come to BELIEVE (by using erroneous language which we keep repeating, over and over again to ourselves) LOCAL AUTHORING of EXPLICIT actions and events without the complexity the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT AUTHORING BY WAY OF TRANSFORMATION.   What we are MISSING (it is being blocked by the use of too-simple BINARY LOGIC is the UNDERSTANDING that the AUTHORING of EVENTS (VIOLENT or OTHERWISE, is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT as in the STRAND in the WEB metaphor where the STRAND that becomes VIOLENT is behaving so because it is VENTING a buildup of TENSIONS in the WEB in which case the STRAND that becomes VIOLENT is NOT THE AUTHOR of such VIOLENCE and this is why INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL JUSTICE is RESTORATIVE, where the full community accepts responsibility for RELATIONAL DISSONANCE IN THE WEB  (the actual source of the VIOLENCE) and employs remedial responses such as “the HEALING CIRCLE” that do NOT fall prey to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR as is the INSIDIOUS MISUNDERSTANDING OF WESTERN CULTURE PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE which WRONGLY IDENTIFIES “A LOCAL AUTHOR” of VIOLENCE even though the AUTHORING is, in reality, NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) since it is coming through the WEB to the STRAND or in other words, THROUGH THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM to the CONDENSATION.   .,  

FOOTNOTE:  The point that comes through in the song “There’s a thin line between love and hate”;  i.e. the point that this illustrates is that WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE orients to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT which is just APPEARANCE (Schaumkommen) while the natural justice of the wife who for a long time puts up with her abusive husband (abuse which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT), finally manifests by her attacking and almost killing him.  The fact that WESTERN CULTURE will act to PROSECUTE HER but NOT HIM shows how WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE, by orienting to LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that is in terms that are LOCAL and EXPLICIT, is orienting to Schaumkommen (APPEARANCE), ignoring the REALITY of our BEYOND LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION sense-experience of inclusion in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.
