AUTHOR’s PREFACE:  There is no way to DIRECTLY capture a REPRESENTATION of REALITY, in this COMMON AVERAGE EUROPEAN (CAE) LANGUAGE (as Benjamin Whorf calls it) that I am herewith using.  This is because REALITY is inclusion in TRANSFORMATION and TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT while our CAE languages are archtiected for delivering representations in terms of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  Thus while the REALITY of TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (which is why indigenous aboriginal language architectures employ a relational architecture which allows inference of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT), our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE based REPRESENTATIONS are not ‘OF REALITY’ but are REPRESENTATIONS of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  Our WESTERN CULTURE language based representations are constructions of SUBSTITUTE REALITIES which “ARE” LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  It should therefore be kept in mind by the reader, that while I am writing this essay in a CAE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, I am constrained by this language to representations that have a LOCAL and EXPLICIT BASE but which may be used to INFER the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT as is the basis of TRANSFORMATION.  For example, if I employ specific statements based on the LOCAL and EXPLICIT (which is all this CAE LANGUAGE ALLOWS as its ‘base-case’ means of representation, I will only be using this as an expedient for developing the relational inference necessary for capturing TRANSFORMATION with is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.  Thus, if I say ‘the TOWN is GROWING’, I am intending, by inference, that ‘the LANDSCAPE is TRANSFORMING.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have constructed a whole SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is based on the LOCAL and EXPLICIT from which we COULD INFER the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT sense-experience-affirmed REALITY of TRANSFORMATION, … but our habit has been to employ the REDUCED-TO-LOCAL-AND-EXPLICIT “SUBSTITUTE REALITY” which is a PROBLEM.  As Bohm and Nietzsche point out, it is a problem that is DRIVING us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS CRAZY by FRAGMENTING REALITY with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.  When we say ‘the TOWN is GROWING, our SENSE-EXPERIENCE-REALITY is that ‘the LANDSCAPE is TRANSFORMING’ which implies QUANTUM LOGIC wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE (the TOWN and the surrounding LANDSCAPE are ONE).   By using the term GROW, engender with our language a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the LOCAL and EXPLICIT and ‘forget about’ our sense-experience REALITY of inclusion in TRANSFORMATION which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

Sine I am using the CAE language, ENGLISH, the reader may keep in mind that the REALITY I am speaking of, albeit with terms that ‘SOUND’ LOCAL and EXPLCIT such as ‘the HUMAN BEING’ are employed with a matrix of relations such that the TAKE-AWAY is purely relational as is necessary for capturing reality that is TRANSFORMATION BASED.  With this comment, I am more or less replicating what Wittgenstein is saying as follows;

6.54 My propositions are elucidatory in this way: he who understands me finally recognizes them as senseless, when he has climbed out through them, on them, over them. (He must so to speak throw away the ladder, after he has climbed up on it.)

This AUTHOR’s PREFACE is just to point out to the reader that while inclusion in TRANSFORMATION is our sense-experience, our LANGUAGE-based representation in terms of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT gives representations of a CONSTRUCTION based SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is good only for INFERENCE even though we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are making the major mistake of employing it as our OPERATIVE REALITY.  By our ‘closing our mind to the reality that there is no such thing as a TOWN THAT IS GROWING and that we are the AUTHORS of this alleged GROWTH; i.e.our sense-experience affirms that the LANDSCAPE is TRANSFORMING and we are included in this TRANSFORMATION.

INTRODUCTION:

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, while we are familiar with the TWO related concepts of TRANSFORMATION and CONSTRUCTION, are in the habit of using CONSTRUCTION as the foundation for our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE.   While TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (RELATIONAL), CONSTRUCTION is LOCAL and EXPLICIT.

As Henri Poincaré observed, it is SIMPLER to say ‘the EARTH TURNS AROUND’ than getting into the full complexity of astronomical dynamics.  However, this simplification injects the BINARY LOGIC based splitting apart of FIGURE (the EARTH) and GROUND (the ‘operating’ SPACE).

This is where we use language to invent a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on BINARY LOGIC wherein FIGURE and GROUND are TWO.  This is WESTERN CULTURE’s departure from the REALITY-REPRESENTING conceptualizations of Modern physics, indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta.

REALITY understood as TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and comes to us through our intuitive intellection by way of CHOICELESS AWARENESS while REALITY can, ALTERNATIVELY, be based on CONSTRUCTION which is LOCAL and EXPLICIT and comes to us through our intellectual senses by way of ratiocinative intellection.

These are NOT the “SAME REALITY” and it is important to distinguish between these two REALITIES and since the RATIONAL-INTELLECTUAL REALITY is a REDUCTION to the MALE CONSTRUCTIVE CONJUGATE which DROPS OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING CONJUGATE.   That is, we speak of “THE CONSTRUCTION” of a TOWN in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE as if that were an entirely LOCAL and EXPLICIT ACTION and DEVELOPMENT.   This is INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION and our SENSE-EXPERIENCE SUPPORTED INTUITION informs us that what is going on is TRANSFORMATION of the overall LANDSCAPE which includes the relational development of the TOWNING.  That is, TRANSFORMATION IS THE SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMED REALITY which comes to us through CHOICELESS AWARENESS while CONSTRUCTION is an INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION that we formulate within the intellectual medium of LANGUAGE-based DISCOURSE.

NOTE that TRANSFORMATION comes to us by way of “CHOICELESS AWARENESS” and is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT while CONSTRUCTION comes to us by INTELLECTUAL LANGUAGE-BASED CONSTRUCTION AND IS LOCAL AND EXPLICIT.

Emerson has pointed out that the TOOL of LANGUAGE which allows us to REDUCE (in the abstracting realm of our intellectualizing mind) TRANSFORMATION from the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, while it is a TOOL capable of serving us a REDUCED CONCEPTUALIZATION OF REALITY (i.e. a SUBSTITUTE REALITY) in LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms, this TOOL has never had the capability of ‘capturing a representation of REALITY.  For example, while this TOOL has the BINARY LOGIC based capability of SPLITTING OUT THE FIGURE FROM THE GROUND (e.g. the HURRICANE from the ATMOSPHERE and/or the HUMAN INHABITANT from the HABITAT) so as to serve up a FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO impression, this is JUST A SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTING TOOL.

Just because this TOOL has the capability WITHIN ITS SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTING METHOD, to PORTRAY the HUMAN INHABITANT as a notional INDEPENDENT FIGURE within an innately SEPARATE GROUND, a GROUND that can be entirely disposed of once we employ BINARY LOGIC to impute to it, its own separate and independent EXISTENCE (or rather NON-EXISTENCE since we can conceive of SPACE as an ABSOLUTE EMPTY and INFINITE EXPANSE OF NOTHINGNESS locally populated by THINGNESSES equipped by LANGUAGE with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that both instantiates LOCAL BEING with GRAMMAR-given powers of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development).

This TOOL of LANGUAGE allows us to CARTOONIZE REALITY and ONCE WE INCLUDE OUR SELF IN OUR CARTOONS, WE BECOME ‘FREE’ in the sense of the FIGURE in a FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO (BINARY LOGIC based) SUBSTITUTE REALITY.

THiS LANGUAGE BASED SUBSTITUTE REALITY has become, for us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, the OPERATIVE REALITY, displacing our sense-experience REALITY..

This is where the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM DEPARTS FROM THE REALITY SCENE, leaving the new SUBSTITUTE REALITY to take over in supplying us with its version of reality which is no longer the CHOICELESS AWARENESS which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (as is the nature of TRANSFORMATION) but which comes through our INTELLECTUAL CONSTRUCTIVISM and this is a SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is LOCAL and EXPLICIT.  INSTEAD OF “SEEING” the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE, thanks to our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE, we “SEE” a LOCAL and EXPLICITLY CONSTRUCTED REALITY; i.e. NOT our intuitive sense-experience based REALITY for our LANGUAGE and INTELLECT based SUBSTITUTE REALITY.  This is a SUBSTITUTE REALITY that we are in charge of CONSTRUCTING so that we can include in it what we choose to and leave out what we choose to.  Thus we commonly choose to include the CONSTRUCTION of the LOCAL TOWN while LEAVING OUT the conjugate SHRINKING of the WILDERNESS.

This DROP OUT in our LANGUAGE-based CONSTRUCTION of SUBSTITUTE REALITY is the DEA ABSCONDITA, the missing FEMALE conjugate.  This loss comes bundled in with our practice of CONSTRUCTING SUBSTITUTE REALITY which includes only those things we want to include in our speech.  SO, for example, we can speak of the CONSTRUCTION OF THE TOWN as if this selective SUBSTITUTE REALITY were something REAL even though there is no sign of the greater reality of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.

DO WE WANT A CRAZY-MAKING LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE?  WE’VE GOT IT WHETHER BY ACCIDENT OR NOT.  As it turns out, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS “made a deal with the devil’ so-to-speak because our EGO insisted that we should inject LOCAL AUTHORING into our LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE so that we could, as INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS (there is no such thing in sense experience reality), CLAIM AUTHORSHIP over ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS that are praised by the social collective, and ATTRIBUTE AUTHORSHIP of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS that are derided by the social collective, to SELECTED OTHERS.  In this case, ALL EYES are upon the CONSTRUCTION of GOOD and BAD DEVELOPMENTS while no-one (in our WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENCY) has their eyes on the TRANSFORMING REALITY.

Our INTUITIVE INTELLECTION informs us of our inclusion in the transforming relational continuum, while our RATIOCINATIVE INTELLECTUAL informs us of our CONSTRUCTIONS so that we can speak of the GROWTH of the TOWN without opening ourselves up to comprehending our inclusion in TRANSFORMATION.

Like our mothers have told us as children; DON’T ‘MAKE A FACE’, YOU MIGHT GET STUCK WITH IT FOR LIFE, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have fallen into the trap of putting our CONSTRUCTIONS into an unnatural primacy over natural TRANSFORMATION and have elevated as the basis for our understanding of REALITY, our LANGUAGE based INTELLECTUAL LOCAL and EXPLICIT SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTIONS into an UNNATURAL PRECEDENCE over our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum.

OUR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE “RATIONAL” BUT THEY ARE NOT “REAL” since RATIO based intellection is CONSTRUCTION BASED as for example, ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which implies a containing space that is ABSOLUTE, EMPTY and INFINITE, since that is needed to MAKE GOOD the ONE-SIDED MALE-ASSERTIVE PROPOSITION that goes by the name GROWTH.

HELLO GROWTH, GOODBY TRANSFORMATION.  HELLO ALSO, EUCLIDEAN SPACE THAT IS ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS DEARLY WANTED TO BUILD INTO OUR LANGUAGE THE ABSTRACTION OF LOCAL AUTHORING SINCE THAT IS CRUCIAL TO EGO and the associated RECOGNITION AND REWARDS ATTRIBUTED TO LOCAL AUTHORS OF PARTICULAR ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS.  OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE GROUNDED RELATIONAL REALITY HAD TO BE, THEREFORE, REJECTED TO SATISFY OUR WESTERN CULTURE EGO-NEEDS WHICH HAVE DEMANDED THE LEGITIMIZING OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS AS IN OUR DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR BASED “SUBSTITUTE REALITY”.

This essay explores THE DAMAGE DONE by our DISPLACING of SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY by the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based (LOCAL AUTHORING BASED) SUBSTITUTE REALITY.

Our sense-experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum is experience of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and comes to us through INTUITION aka “CHOICELESS AWARENESS” while our CONSTRUCTIONS of REALITY come to us through LOCAL and EXPLICIT RATIONAL CONSTRUCTIONS which are RADICALLY INCOMPLETE and BIASED by our personal preferences as to WHAT TO INCLUDE in our CONSTRUCTIONS of our SUBSTITUTE REALITY.

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS supported by our DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based language tend to construct SUBSTITUTE REALITIES based on CONSTRUCTION as in the GROWTH of LOCAL and EXPLICIT TOWNS and INDUSTRY etc. while indigenous aboriginal cultures, supported by their relational languages and Taoism/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta, give language-based expression of the REALITY of INCLUSION IN TRANSFORMATION within which TOWNING is an ‘appearance’ in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT relational dynamic without any LOCAL and EXPLICIT foundation and thus without need of a supportive ABSOLUTE, EMPTY and INFINITE (EUCLIDIAN) CONTAINING SPACE.  This abstract containing space is only required in our WESTERN CULTURE method of language-based representation because of our EGO based practice of imputing INDEPENDENT BEING to ourselves, the FIRST ERROR that is conflated by the SECOND ERROR of GRAMMAR that we use to impute to ourselves OUR OWN LOCAL POWER OF AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS to flesh out our BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONSTRUCTION.

SO, … CAN we GET HONEST?

 

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING! 

 

The suggestion of MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING as with “HUMAN AUTHORING” in general, is WESTERN CULTURE EGO THINK!.  Nietzsche points out that LOCAL AUTHORING is NOT REAL but is ABSTRACTION deriving from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

The REALITY is, as affirmed by Modern physics and as in the belief of indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism and Advaita Vedanta, that EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, as is the nature of the WAVE-FIELD aka the Tao.   The CONTRADICATORY  concept of LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS (the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING AND GRAMMAR) is something we have invented to SIMPLIFY the constructing of LANGUAGE based REPRESENTATIONS of SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY.

 

As Poincaré pointed out, it is SIMPLER to employ BINARY LOGIC and say ‘the EARTH TURNS ROUND’ (as if the EARTH and SPACE,  and FIGURE and GROUND in general, are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE) rather than to come up with less simple language that captures the REALITY that MATERIAL FORMS are CONDENSATIONS of the ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD which implies QUANTUM LOGIC wherein FIGURE and GROUND are ONE.

 

This option of employing “EITHER” BINARY LOGIC “OR” QUANTUM LOGIC in LANGUAGE distinguishes WEST from EAST (NOTE THAT I HAVE EMPLOYED BINARY LOGIC IN MAKING THIS EITHER/OR DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE TWO LOGICS.   Things can get CONFUSING when we try to discuss different types of LOGIC using a LANGUAGE which has a BUILT-IN-BIAS TO BINARY LOGIC.

 

Since we are all included in a transforming relational continuum, the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based PROPOSITION that we are the LOCAL AUTHORS of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS is our own self-perpetrated SCAM! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, and just because our LANGUAGE HABIT builds such constructions does overcome the innate NON-REALITY of LOCAL AUTHORING.

 

We are ENGINEERING this LANGUAGE-based SCAM of a LOCAL AUTHORING based SUBSTITUTE REALITY (where we speak in terms of LOCAL AUTHORING, we aare no longer speaking of SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY).

 

For example, this DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR manifests where we say things like; ‘the TOWN is GROWING’.   When we say this, our mind “GETS THE PICTURE” and GOES TO SLEEP.  In this SLEEP we let go of our sense-experience awareness of our inclusion in the transforming relational continuum wherein the reality is that the LANDSCAPE IS TRANSFORMING and there is TOWNING withing that TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.  We FALL ASLEEP to sense-experience reality and WAKE UP IN an INTELLECTUAL SUBSTITUTE REALITY where ‘TOWNS GROW’ (which implies that they are independent of the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE).

 

These TWO REALITIES; i.e. our SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY where QUANTUM LOGIC (FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE), … and our INTELLECTUAL SUBSTITUTE REALITY where BINARY LOGIC (FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO) are in basic DISAGREEMENT.  RECALL that the BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY derives from the quest for SIMPLIFICATION of EXPRESSION of REALITY.  In Modern physics as also in indigenous aboriginal an EASTERN cultures (Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta), languages have been developed which convey the QUANTUM LOGIC fluidity of sense-experience reality as in the expression “TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” as contrasted with the BINARY LOGIC concreteness of WESTERN CULTURE intellectual reality construction as in the expression “the TOWN is GROWING LARGER and more POPULOUS and PRODUCTIVE”, … that latter implying LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT on the part of “the TOWN”.  This ABSTRACT PICTURE OF the “GROWTH” of a notional LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF derives from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

WESTERN CULTURE, MEANWHILE, EMPLOYS LANGUAGE CONSTRUCTIONS that IMPLY LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments.  THIS IS NOT REALITY as in our sense-experience REALITY, this abstract (DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR based) LOCAL AUTHORING based SUBSTITUTE REALITY is part of the SIMPLIFYING LANGUAGE based REPRESESENTATION SCHEME employed by us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS.

 

If we keep in mind what is going on here with our used of LANGUAGE to construct a SIMPLIFIED SUBSTITUTE REALITY, we will see why;

 

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING! 

 

because THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments.  LOCAL AUTHORING belongs to the ABSTRACT SUBSTITUTE REALITY that we construct using the DOUBL ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

If we can visualize men authoring the construction of the TOWN, this MENTAL PICTURE CHASES OUT and becomes a SUBSTITUTE REALITY in place of our sense-experience of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE (the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD aka the TAO).

 

QUESTION: Given that we are INCLUDED in the transforming relational continuum and are thus NOT THE AUTHORS OF LOCAL ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, how can it be that our IMPRESSION IS SO STRONG that WE ARE THE AUTHORS of POLLUTION and RAVAGING of the FORESTS and “NATURAL RESOURCES”.  IS IT NOT TRUE THAT WE ARE CONSUMING NATURAL RESOURCES?

 

The concept of CONSUMPTION is BINARY LOGIC based  (ABSTRACTION based) and involves the CONSTRUCTION of a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which SPLITS APART the CONSUMING AGENT and the MATERIAL CONSUMED.   This BINARY LOGIC based ABSTRACTION FRAGMENTS REALITY and OBSCURES the QUANTUM LOGIC based understanding of REALITY in terms of TRANSFORMATION wherein there is no such thing as GROWTH and CONSUMPTION..

 

While our abstract LANGUAGE CONSTRUCTIONS allow us to speak in terms of the GROWTH of HUMAN POPULATION and the associated DE-FORESTING of the countryside in the manner of a plague of ants consuming all the leaves in a grove of Maple trees, WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON (TRANSFORMIATION) INCLUDES THE ANTS, and the HUMANS as well.  It is only the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that creates an ABSTRACT, LINGUISTIC SUBSTITUTE REALITY featuring a notional LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments.  THERE IS NO LOCAL AUTHORING IN OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY OF INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM AKA THE ‘WAVE-FIELD’ AKA THE ‘TAO’.

 

The INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE ACKNOWLEDGES HOW EUROPEAN COLONIZERS ARE SCREWING UP THE ENVIRONMENT BUT THAT DOES NOT TRANSLATE INTO THE UNDERSTANDING THAT EUROPEAN COLONIZERS ARE THE “AUTHORS” OF DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT, since the understanding is that INHABITANTS and HABITAT ARE ONE as in QUANTUM LOGIC where FIGURE and GROUND are ONE.   In this case, the FIGURE cannot BE THE AUTHOR OF HARM to something he is included in.  This implies a TOPOLOGY like that of the OUROBORUS, the ancient picture of a snake that is swallowing itself by devouring itself tail-first.   The WAVE-FIELD reality is that FIGURE and GROUND are only ONE which implies QUANTUM LOGIC that recalls that MATTER is a CONDENSATION of FIELD so that FIELD is continually DEVOURING MATTER in a continuing process of TRANSFORMATION as characterizes the WORLD CONTINUUM.

 

IS IT NOT TRUE THAT WE ARE CONSUMING NATURAL RESOURCES?

 

Such a concept is BINARY LOGIC based and is based on the SPLITTING APART of the FIGURE (the CONSUMER) and the GROUND (that which is being CONSUMED).  This is a BINARY LOGIC based wherein FIGURE and GROUND are TWO (where the FIGURE is ravaging the GROUND).  In QUANTUM LOGIC, there is TRANSFORMATION wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE.  The INHABITANT can’t feed on the HABITAT TWICE because it is not the same INHABITANT and not the same HABITAT.  What is going on in REALITY is TRANSFORMATION as entails the BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDED MEDIUM.

 

In reality as understood in MODERN PHYSICS as also in the philosophies of indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, REALITY IS TRANSFORMATION WHICH IS ALL-INCLUDING and WHICH INCLUDES OURSELVES that we are part of this TRANSFORMATION that we ourselves are helping to ‘shape’.  Like the OUROBORUS, we are CONSUMING OURSELVES (in the context of the overall TRANSFORMATION we share inclusion on).

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS equate “REALITY” with the SUBSTITUTE REALITY we CONSTRUCT with LANGUAGE as with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.  We say THE TOWN IS GROWING and by accepting this not only as REALITY but also as a GOOD THING, we ignore the CONJUGATE LOSS OF WILDERNESS.   By INVESTING IN GROWTH and treating GROWTH as REALITY, we generate a BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY and psychologically ABANDON our sense-experience reality of inclusion in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

 

Just as “IT IS SIMPLER” to say ‘the EARTH TURNS ROUND” which employs BINARY LOGIC to SPLIT THE EARTH out of the transforming relational continuum and RE-PRESENT it as if it were a LOCAL THING-IN-ITSELF with its own LOCAL POWERS of AUTHORING GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT.  This LOCAL AUTHORING gives forth a PICTURE of a FIGURE that is INDEPENDENT of any CONTAINING GROUND; i.e. the PICTURE OF THE GROWING/DEVELOPING FIGURE implies that this INDEPENDENT INHABITANT is GROWING and DEVELOPING within an EMPTY SPACE OF INFINITE EXTENT (otherwise we would have to address the INHABITANT-HABITAT CONJUGATE RELATION and in QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND logic of the INCLUDED medium.

 

THINK OF REALITY IN THE FOLLOWING QUANTUM LOGIC TERMS;

 

The relationship between INHABITANT and HABITAT is like the relationship between a CONDENSATION OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD AND THE ELECTRONIC FIELD.  These are NOT TWO things but ONE THING, the FIELD, wherein the FORMS within the FIELD are CONDENSATIONS of the FIELD.  This is given by QUANTUM LOGIC, the BOTH/AND logic of the INCLUDED MEDIUM where, for example, the HURRICANE and the ATMOSHERE ARE ONE and NOT TWO.

 

But we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS assume, in our LANGUAGE-based CONSTRUCTIONS, BINARY LOGIC and this, as Bohm and Nietzsche point out, induce SCHIZOPHRENIA in us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS as manifests, for example, in the CONSERVATIVE-LIBERAL SPLIT which is based on belief in LOCAL AUTHORING (which does not exist) and whether LOCAL AUTHORING is MALE (one-to-many) or FEMALE (many-to-one).

 

So, back to the question;

 

IS IT NOT TRUE THAT WE ARE CONSUMING NATURAL RESOURCES?

 

QUANTUM PHYSICS REALITY based ANSWER;

 

NO, SUCH A NOTION is BASED on BINARY LOGIC whereby we notionally SPLIT APART the INHABITANT from the HABITAT and portray the INHABITANT as a CONSUMER of the HABITAT.

 

QUANTUM LOGIC would have us understand that the INHABITANT and HABITAT ARE ONE so that we are included in the world we are looking out at; i.e. the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD aka the TAO…  is ALL-INCLUDING.

 

As in the classic ‘PORTRAIT OF DORIAN GRAY’, that DEGENERATING HABITAT OUT THERE “IS US”, there is no SPLITTING APART of INHABITANT and HABITAT, these are two faces of a single coinage.  It is only the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR that builds a BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY featuring notional LOCAL AUTHORS of their own actions and developments.

 

As ARCHITECTS, we can DESIGN a HOUSE and FIND a PERFECT LOCATION for it in PLEASANT VALLEY by the time that 500 others have done likewise, “PLEASANT VALLEY” is not the same PLEASANT VALLEY and we are reminded of the words of Heraclitus that suggest that we ‘cant’ step into the same waters twice for they are not the same waters and we are not the same person stepping into them.

 

NEITHER DOES THE TERM “GROWTH” capture what is going on here since GROWTH implies RATIO based INCREASE as would describe adding pebbles on a flat plane, but in the SPHERICAL SPACE of our real-life sense-experience, change is no longer RATIONAL or RATIO based, because it has a CONJUGATE RELATION and that GROWTH of CULTIVATED LAND such as GROWTH of the TOWN, IN SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY, IS IN CONJUGATE RELATION with the SHRINKAGE of WILDERNESS, the complex conjugation of this MALE-ASSERTIVE and FEMALE-ACCOMMODATION comprising TRANSFORMATION as implied by QUANTUM LOGIC wherein “GROWING FIGURE and SHRINKING GROUND” are ONE.

 

As Poincaré pointed out, IT IS SIMPLER TO SAY THAT “THE EARTH TURNS ROUND” which is to say that it is SIMPLER TO EMPLOY BINARY LOGIC where we can PRETEND that the INHABITANT and the HABITAT are TWO SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT ONTOLOGICAL ENTITITES however, our SENSE-EXPERIENCE affirms the QUANTUM LOGIC FIGURE and GROUND-are-ONE FLUID DYNAMICAL REALITY.

 

WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT REALITIES TO CHOOSE FROM THANKS to the PSYCHOLOGICAL CONCEPTUALIZING POWER of LANGUAGE and GRAMMAR.  We have the QUANTUM LOGIC REALITY opted for by the indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta Adherents wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-ONE (which comprehends that MATTER is a condensation of the electromagnetic field) and we have the WESTERN CULTURE preference  BINARY LOGIC wherein FIGURE-and-GROUND-are-TWO.  Support for BINARY LOGIC comes from EGO since BINARY LOGIC is the source of the ABSTRACT notion of LOCAL AUTHORING, which we can employ within the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR so as to impute to THE TOWN, ‘its own power of AUTHORING GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT, WITH NO MENTION OF ITS INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.

 

This BINARY LOGIC based FRAGMENTING of REALITY featuring LOCAL AUTHORING is characteristic of the ABSTRACT “SUBSTITUTE REALITY” of us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS.

 

PROBLEM SYNOPSIS: The only REAL REALITY is TRANSFORMATION that we and all things are included in.  WE WHO THINK OF OURSELVES AS A DISTINCT AND SEPARATE BREED WITH AMAZING AUTHORING POWERS OF OUR OWN (in reality, we are NEITHER SEPARATE NOR DO WE HAVE OUR OWN AUTHORING POWERS) are viewing what is going on as if we, being INHABITANTS with amazing powers of our own, have wrongly done harm to the passive HABITAT that supports us AS A RESOURCE that is SEPARATE FROM OURSELVES.

 

The MISTAKEN view of the BINARY LOGIC based INHABITANT – HABITAT SPLIT is giving us the sense that we HUMAN INHABITANTS have MISTREATED THE HABITAT (this FAILS TO ACKNOWLEDGE that INHABITANT and HABITAT ARE ONE as in QUANTUM LOGIC).

 

Indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents, on the other hand, acknowledge, as Modern physics also does, that FIGURE and GROUND are ONE so that the BINARY LOGIC based WESTERN CULTURE THINKING that we HUMAN INHABITANTS have been doing injury to the HABITAT OUT THERE as if it were something apart from ourselves, IS SELF-DECEPTION that, as Bohm suggests, constitutes SCHIZOPHRENIA since we INHABITANTS are INCLUDED in the HABITAT.  As Schroedinger says; ‘SUBJECT and OBJECT are only ONE’.

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE NOW STRUGGLING WITH THE FRAGMENTATION WE HAVE INJECTED INTO THE SUBSTITUTE REALITIES WE BUILD WITH BINARY LOGIC WHICH IMPUTE SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ONTOLOGICAL BEING TO INHABITANT AND HABITAT, …  while our sense-experience is informing us that INHABITANT and HABITAT are ONLY ONE, as in the WAVE-FIELD and Tao based understanding..

 

1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc

 

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAN-MADE ANYTHING.  THE CONCEPT OF LOCAL AUTHORING IS A DOUBLE ERROF OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR.  FRAGMENTATION is coming from the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING. IT IS A DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR

 

The belief in MAN-MADE ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS is supported by EGO in the case of the AUTHORING of ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS that are positively perceived by the WESTERN CULTURE social collective and EGO also brings GUILT in the case of the AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS that are negatively perceived by the WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL collective.

 

This whole WESTERN CULTURE  system of REWARDS and RECOGNITION for positively perceived AUTHORING of actions and developments and PUNISHMENTS and DENIGRATION for negatively perceived AUTHORING of actions and developments is SCHIZOPHRENIA inducing.  In the reality of our sense experience, we are included in TRANSFORMATION (the transforming relational continuum) and there is no such thing as LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments, that is DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which CONJURES UP a SUBSTITUTE REALITY featuring the positive antics of notional LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with their own GRAMMAR-powers of AUTHORING actions and developments.

 

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are slowly coming to the realization that what we have taken to be POSITIVE ASSERTIVE ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS (whether GOOD or BAD) are instead our participating with TRANSFORMATION so that we cannot lay claim to ‘our own actions and developments’.   Our sense-experience REALITY is instead more like a BUMPER CAR GAME wherein because of our NAME-LABELLING (Car 17 or Car 51), it is possible to form LANGUAGE-based descriptions of “OUR” actions (Car 17’s or Car 51’s) but IT IS NOT THE CASE THAT OUR ACTIONS are AUTHORED by ourselves.  Our actions are instead influences by the many relations we share inclusion in in which case, as in the case of the PLANETS, it is EASIER to say ‘the EARTH TURNS ROUND’ and thus also CAR 17 smashed into CAR 51 because is it SIMPLER to express in LANGUAGE.  However, this does not mean that CAR 17 is the AUTHOR of the crash that injured the driver of CAR 51.   This DISTINCTION between dynamics that are relational rather than LOCALLY AUTHORED is important, as it is in the case where way ‘the EARTH TURNS ROUND’, reducing the action to LOCAL AUTHORING SOURCE.

 

IN THIS REDUCING OF ACTIONS TO LOCAL AUTHORING, simply by the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR, we develop and associated system of CREDIT and BLAME that can INFLATE or DEFATE the EGO of identified AUTHOR, in spite of the fact that, in reality, there is no LOCAL AUTHOR since we are included in a transforming relational continuum akin to BUMPER CAR GAME..  We can use the NAMES such as CAR 17 and CAR 51 to describe actions and developments, however, to go beyond this and impute LOCAL AUTHORING POWER (full and sole responsibility for sourcing their actions) to the NAMED entities is to IMPOSE A NOTIONAL ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE spacetime frame to describe and allocate AUTHORSHIP of actions and developments even through these players were NOT THE AUTHORS but merely the LIGHTNING RODS that we conductors of the complect relational dynamics in which they are included.

 

THE MISTAKE of confusing PARTICIPANTS within the transforming relational continuum for LOCAL AUTHORS of actions and developments is the source of FRAGMENTATION in the WESTERN CULTURE PSYCHE.

 

The WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT keeps his eye on WHAT HE IS AUTHORING as if that were REALITY while what is really going on is TRANSFORMATION that he and everything are included in.   This leads to a confusion that is termed SUBOPTIMIZATION where we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS attempt to improve a LOCAL SYSTEM (that we think is independent) while we are in reality messing with a whole relational network of interdependencies.

 

The Name of the Devil is Suboptimization’

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are trying to improve lives for HUMANS as if HUMANS were INDEPENDENT BEINGS (there is no such thing as an ‘independent being’ in sense-experience reality.  The notion of ‘independence’ derives from our NAMING and GRAMMAR based LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE which constructs mental imagery of LOCAL BEINGS, notionally with their own (grammar-given) powers of AUTHORING actions and developments..

-1- WESTERN CULTURE uses LANGUAGE to construct a SUBSTITUTE REALITY featuring NAMING-instantiated notional LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with GRAMMAR-given powers of AUTHORING actions and developments.  This provides the basics for constructing a SUBSTITUTE REALITY that is SIMPLER to use than, for example, a flow-based LANGUAGE.  However, this SUBSTITUTE REALITY is FRAGMENTATIVE in that CONSTRUCTS SUBSTITUTE REALITIES that feature LOCALLY INCIPIENT sources of actions and developments.  While this solves the problem of HOW TO CAPTURE THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM in language, by having a LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE that breaks reality down into a LOCAL FRAGMENT based SUBSTITUTE REALITY, it opens up new problems of psychological confusion.

 

This FRAGMENTATIVE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE is ANCHORED IN PLACE by HIGH SWITCHING COSTS since it now serves as the basis for allocation social status, rewards and recognition and also punishments and denigration, all of which is supported by the ABSTRACT DOUBLE ERROR based concept of LOCAL AUTHORING given by the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

THIS WHOLE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE rests on a foundation of BINARY LOGIC so that BINARY LOGIC permeates the common psychological inquiry of us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS.  Understanding that is QUANTUM LOGIC based; i.e. the understanding of reality of MODERN PHYSICS, indigenous aboriginal cultures, Toism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, all of which are based on QUANTUM LOGIC are ‘hard to comprehend’ by many if not most WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS because BINARY LOGIC has been so thoroughly infused into the WESTERN LANGUAGE and PSYCHE.  For example, we common speak in terms of GROWTH (of children, TOWNS, etc.) but GROWTH is a RATIO based (BINARY LOGIC BASED) ABSTRACTION which has no place within the sense-experience reality of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum..

P.S.   Just to refer back to the title of this note and RESOLVE the popular CONFUSION wherein WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are PLEADING GUILTY to being RESPONSIZBLE for CLIMATE CHANGE in the context of The BOGUS CONCEPT of LOCAL AUTHORING as it is playing out in MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING ETC. ETC.  ONCE AGAIN, … THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LOCAL AUTHORING.

 

The GUILTY PLEA (of having LOCALLY AUTHORED a CRIMINAL ACT) implicitly gives credence to LOCAL AUTHORING, however, as explained in the earlier discussion, there is no such thing as LOCAL AUTHORING since we are all included in the transforming relational continuum.  The GUILTY PLEA has the same type of MISLEADING AFFIRMATION as FORGIVENESS (which implies TORT).  Both of these expressions are OBLIQUE AFFIRMATIONS of LOCALLY AUTHORED ACTIONS and RESULTS.

 

But the REALITY IS that there is no such thing as a LOCALLY AUTHORED ACTION AND RESULT since we live in a transforming relational continuum which is NONLOCAL and RELATIONAL.

 

So, to close out this note, we can examine in light of the above, the claim of HUMAN AUTHORED GLOBAL WARMING.  Right off the bat, we can see that the allegation of LOCAL AUTHORING is FALSE as there is no such thing as LOCAL AUTHORING.  The ALLEGATION of HUMAN AUTHORED GLOBAL WARMING is exemplary of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR (Nietzsche).  The first ERROR is the use of NAMING to impute LOCAL BEING and this is conflated with the SECOND ERROR of GRAMMAR which imputes the POWER of LOCAL AUTHORING to the LOCAL BEING.   While our sense-experience supports the understanding that we share inclusion in the transforming relational continuum, this DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR constructs a SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein LOCAL AUTHORING occurs.

 

THERE IS NO LOCAL AUTHORING IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, there is only TRANSFORMATION..  The notional GROWTH of the TOWN is INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION while the sense-experience REALITY is the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.

 

Notice that BINARY LOGIC plays the foundational role in constructing the SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein FIGURE and GROUND are TWO (TOWN and COUNTRYSIDE are presented as TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ONTOLOGIES.  In our sense-experience reality, QUANTUM LOGIC affirms that FIGURE-and-GROUND are ONE; i.e. there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE and everything is in flux (Heraclitus).  The dynamic wherein THE TOWN IS GROWING is ABSTRACTION that transpired within a notional (abstract) ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE of INFINITE EXTENT.  This is NOT REALITY, but we can take a PICTURE of the TOWN, and in fact we can take a SERIES OF PICTURES OF ‘THE TOWN’ at intervals of TIME and show that ‘the TOWN IS GROWING’, except that, as Heraclitus says, one can’t step into the same river twice because it is not the same river and not the same ‘person’ stepping into it.

 

What is REALLY GOING ON IS “TRANSFORMATION” and what we are seeing is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.  There is no such thing as “GROWTH”.  “GROWTH’ is a product of the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMER as implies LOCAL AUTHORING (i.e. GROWTH).  Once we deploy LANGUAGE that supports the concept of GROWTH we are constructing a SUBSTITUTE REALITY based on the BINARY LOGICAL splitting apart of FIGURE and GROUND whereby we use GRAMMAR to ANIMATE the FIGURE and substitute ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE for the GROUND..

 

MODERN PHYSICS, indigenous aboriginal and EASTERN cultures support the understanding of reality in terms of the QUANTUM LOGIC of FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-ONE as in the transforming relational continuum aka the WAVE-FIELD aka the TAO, while we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS  support the SUBSTITUTE REALITY wherein the understanding reality is in terms of the BINARY LOGIC of FIGURE-and-GROUND-as-TWO, which features the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR based dynamics of FRAGMENTATION wherein the FIGURE is represented as MALE ASSERTING AGENT with its own powers of AUTHORING actions and developments (e.g. the TOWN is GROWING).  The ACCOMMODATING FEMALE LANDSCAPE is DROPPED OUT of this one-sided WESTERN CULTURE MALE ASSERTIVE ONLY REPRESENTATION and become the DEA INCOGNITA, the missing FEMALE.

 

This ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTIVE SUBSTITUTE REALITY CONCEPTUALIZATION WHICH RESULTS FROM THE  DROPOUT of the FEMALE IS WHAT WE ARE EMPLOYING AS OUR WESTERN CULTURE OPERATIVE REALITY, AND THIS IS CONTRARY TO MODERN PHYSICS, CONTRARY TO INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURES, CONTRARY TO TAOISM/BUDDHISM AND ADVAITA VEDANTA.  IT IS GIVING US A FRAGMENTED UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY AND IS THE BREEDING SCHIZOPHRENIA IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENCY AS BOHM AND NIETZSCHE NOTE.  BUT AS ALREADY MENTIONED, THIS DISASTER IS HELD IN PLACE BY EGO AS ASSOCIATES WITH BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

 

MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING IS THE ARTIFACT OF WESTERN CULTURE EGO-BASED BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORING.

 

REWARD AND RECOGNITION AND PUNISHMENT AND DENIGRATION ARE WESTERN CULTURE PRACTICES THAT DERIVE FROM WESTERN CULTURE BELIEF IN LOCAL AUTHORS OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.  THERE IS NO SUCH THING. THERE IS ONLY TRANSFORMATION.

 

IN MODERN PHYSICS AS IN INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL AND EASTERN UNDERSTANDING, THERE IS TRANSFORMATION THAT WE ARE ALL INCLUDED IN.  THUS, WE ARE NOT THE JUMPSTART “AUTHORS” OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, BUT AS IN THE BUMPER CAR GAME, WE ARE LIKE LIGHTNING RODS THAT BOTH RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT THE DYNAMICS OF THE RELATIONAL COLLECTIVE WE SHARE INCLUSION IN.   THERE IS NO “LOCAL AUTHORING” IN THIS REALITY.  THERE IS ONLY RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION AS GIVES RISE TO RELATIONAL FORMS.

 

The THINGS that we SEE are CONDENSATIONS of the FIELD, the FIELD is the PRIMARY REALITY while we CREATE the SUBSTITUTE REALITY that features LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with GRAMMAR-given powers AUTHORING actions and developments.  The current problem with WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMICS is that we are deploying the BINARY LOGIC based SUBSTITUTE REALITY as the OPERATIVE REALITY, in contradiction to the QUANTUM LOGIC of Modern physics, indigenous aboriginal reality, Taoist/Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta sense-experience grounded reality.
