AUTHOR’S PREFACE: The various PROBLEMS WITH WESTERN CULTURE that are written about by Laing, Henry, Bohm, Wittgenstein, Schroedinger, and Wittgenstein ALL DEAL WITH THE SAME PROBLEM which is that BECAUSE WE ARE LIVING IN A WAVE-FIELD WORLD, we need a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME that is NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM based and MOST OF the DYSFUNCTION in WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL DYNAMICS is coming from our use of A TOO SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING.  For example, we NEED TO SAY THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE but this is a NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM linguistic conceptualizing which is BEYOND REACH of our BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM based linguistic conceptualizing which is limited to ‘THE TOWN IS GROWING’ or ‘the TOWN is DEVELOPING’ or ‘THE TOWN is PRODUCING goods’, all of which suffer from the Goedel’s Theorem INCOMPLETENESS OF ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS (the common propositions which are only capturing the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (i.e. ‘the TOWN is GROWING’) and which DROP OUT the REMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING  (i.e. THE WILDERNESS IS SHRINKING which is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING NEEDED fOR THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING “GROWING” of the TOWN to occur.  Thus, to speak in terms that ‘the TOWN IS GROWING’ is WRONG in the sense that it is INCOMPLETE which is the weakness of ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS.

The poin here is that the COMMON PRACTICE in WESTERN CULTURE has been to LIMIT our discourse to SIMPLE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS which are BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM based such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which MAKES NO MENTION of the PRIMARY PLAYER which is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate which is ALWAYS INCLUDED IN INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING AND IN MODERN PHYSICS because we live in an ANDROGYNOUS WAVE-FIELD WORLD where for all instances of MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING such as GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION, there is together with this a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE SHRINKING of WILDERNESS, COLLAPSING of prior development and CONSUMPTION of production, and these conjugates actually play out together in the ONLY REAL DYNAMIC which is the ALL-INCLUDING CONTINUING TRANSFORMATION.  That’s why TRUMP and MUSK are always so CONSPICUOUSLY WRONG because they speak (construct LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS) in such a manner as to highlight the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING such as ‘the TOWN is GROWING’ which is MISSING ITS FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate (the WILDERNESS IS SHRINKING)   There is much more to this PROBLEM hidden in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, including the Miner’s Canary problem.  The problem here is that it involves the NONBINARY LOGIC concept of a TOXIC SPACE (RELATIONAL DISSONANCE IN THE PLENUM – CONDENSATION RELATION) which is TOO COMPLICATED for the usual WESTERN CULTURE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (empty space) construction wherein, if our CANARY IS SICK, the only place it could be coming from is INSIDE THE CANARY since in our BINARY LOGIC modeling scheme there is ONLY the CANARY as if within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE in which case, if the CANARY is behaving strangely, the only possible source could be a MALFUNCTIONING WITHIN THE CANARY.  NOT SO in indigenous aboriginal culture, nor in MODERN PHYSICS where LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SUPPORTS the NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, wherein, as Bohm forcefully reminds us;

“Space is not empty.  It is full, a plenum as opposed to a vacuum, and is the ground for the existence of everything, including ourselves.” (David Bohm).

SPACE is NOT EMPTINESS, it is WAVE-FIELD and the CONDENSATION and the WAVE-FIELD can be RESONANT (NURTURANT) and it can be DISSONANT (TOXIC).  In this case, we have a STRAND IN THE WEB situation (or a WHORLING in the FLOWING situation) where it is IMPOSSIBLE to ISOLATE the SOURCE of BEHAVIOUR so that we can determine in any of these cases whether THE STRAND IS STIRRING UP THE WEB OR VICE VERSA, … or the WHORLING IS STIRRING UP THE FLOWING or VICE VERSA, or the CONDENSATION is STIRRING UP THE PLENUM or VICE-VERSA.

 

THERE ARE NO BINARY CHOICES HERE IN ANY OF THESE CASES BECAUSE THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT ITEM OF CONTENT IN ALL CASES, IS ONLY SCHAUMKOMMEN (APPEARANCE) and what we have is an ANDROGYNOUS combination of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT REALITY with the LOCAL and EXPLICIT APPEARANCE.

Psychiatrist Ronald Laing’s “THE DIVIDED SELF” and Anthropologist Jules Henry’s “CULTURE AGAINST MAN”,  Modern physics pioneer David Bohm’s ‘FRAGMENTATION’ leadoff chapter in “Wholeness and the Implicate Order” are frequently cited in my writing and these critiques are not simply a collection of RANDOM ATTACKS coming from PERSONAL BIAS.

 

Yes, I may sound like a BROKEN RECORD, in terms of critiques, but there’s more of a message ‘between the lines’ than in a simple summing of the critiques.  As Wittgenstein puts it;

 

“My propositions are elucidatory in this way: he who understands me finally recognizes them as senseless, when he has climbed out through them, on them, over them. (He must so to speak throw away the ladder, after he has climbed up on it.) He must surmount these propositions; then he sees the world rightly” — Wittgenstein

 

This FIRST FORM that the message comes in has been often repeated in some form or another, and if I was to quote Hitler, I would also be citing Nietzsche who rightly referred to the WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE as “THE HERD”, for example a “HERD” that follows the LEADER in pursuing “GROWTH”, “DEVELOPMENT” and “PRODUCTION” …. IN SPITE OF THE REALITY THAT WE LIVE IN A TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM and it is the TRANSFORMATION that we are co-contributing to which is the PRIMARY REALITY, and these “THINGS” that we say are “GROWING”, “DEVELOPING” and “PRODUCING” … DO NOT EXIST OTHER THAN AS ILLUSIONS THAT KEEP US HERD-MEMBERS MOTIVATED and thus “IN LINE”.  To quote from the heartland of a previous essay;

 

WHY AM I ASKING THE QUESTION: DO WE REALLY BELIEVE IN GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION …. INSTEAD OF TRANSFORMATION?

 

“THE HERD” is what Nietzsche calls us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS because we go along with FEIGNED BELIEF IN INDEPENDENT NATIONS and similar BULLSHIT that is de rigeur to pretend to believe in, in our WESTERN CULTURE even though it is blatant bullshit.  Psychiatrist Ronald Lang and Anthropologist Jules Henry put our WESTERN CULTURE “HERD” mentality in very succinct and brutal terms;

 

Culture is an obsession that flies in the face of contradiction: to engulf the mind so that it will see the world only as a culture decrees it shall be seen; to compel a person to become absurd. … In order not to fail, most people are willing to believe anything and to care not whether what they are told is true or false.  Only by remaining absurd can one feel free from fear of failure.  Hence the immovableness of the absurd.”  — Jules Henry,

 

It is Henry’s contention that in practice education has never been an instrument to free the mind and the spirit of man, but to bind them. We think we want creative children, but what do we want them to create? — ‘If all through school the young were provoked to question the Ten Commandments, the sanctity of revealed religion, the foundations of patriotism, the profit motive, the two party system, monogamy, the laws of incest, and so on … — there would be such creativity that society would not know where to turn. …  Children do not give up their innate imagination, curiousity, dreaminess easily. You have to love them to get them to do that. Love is the path through permissiveness to discipline; and through discipline, only too often, to betrayal of self.” R. D. Laing

 

The BELIEF in INDEPENDENT NATIONS is one of those absurdities that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have been ‘programmed’ to feign belief in, BUT WE PAY A HEAVY PRICE, THE FRAGMENTATION OF OUR OWN PSYCHE.
