The IMPORTANCE of Vygotsky’s FINDING of Piaget’s MISTAKES that are SCREWING UP Western Culture LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING

 

This is tricky and it is a BIG DEAL in that it EXPLAINS Bohm’s CRITICISM of how we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are FRAGMENTING our LANGUAGE and THOUGHT.

 

I will insert key paragraphs from Bohm’s “Wholeness and the Implicate Order” for easy reference if you should need it, but I am going to share with you a kind of FULL ‘FREEHAND’ explanation of what is going on and why it matters.  Here are the key paragraphs from Bohm’s analysis which you can jump over so that we can follow another simpler route taking you to the same understanding of how WESTERN CULTURE ADMINISTRATORS ARE SCREWING UP.  (you can jump over this following paragraph and continue with this ‘FREEHAND’ discussion stream);

 

1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS  (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order, David Bohm)

 

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

 

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc.

We are living in a WAVE-FIELD which we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS don’t usually DIRECTLY POINT OUT but the WAVE-FIELD understanding is implicit in our sense-experience and it is implicit in indigenous aboriginal and other FLOW-BASED LANGUAGES (“LANGUAGES can be seen as Linguistic Conceptualizing Schemes that differ in how they have us imagine “where we are and what we are up to”).  For example, the flow-based linguistic conceptualizing scheme of indigenous aboriginals, which agrees with that of MODERN PHYSICS, brings us the impression that we are like STRANDS IN A WEB or CONDENSATIONS in a TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  However, our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME is based on a notional ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE which CONTAINS many independent MATERIAL OBJECTS including HUMAN BEINGS that purportedly move about and interact within the EMPTY SPACE.   This WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME IS A SCHEME THAT SIMPLIFIES WHAT WE ARE PRESENTING AS “REALITY” by SUBSTITUTING EMPTY SPACE THE PLENUM which amounts to GETTING RID OF THE WEB and going with the STRANDS, hence the FRAGMENTATION that shows up in our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE.

 

WESTERN CULTURE ADMINISTRATORS HELP TO KEEP US ALL ON ‘THE SAME PAGE’ as far as the ABSTRACT FRAGMENTED CONVENTIONS such as INDEPENDENT NATIONS that WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS pretend “REALLY ARE INDEPENDENT” and, as cooperating groups, JOINTLY PRETENDING THAT IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDARIES REALLY DO DEFINE SEPARATELY OWNED AND OPERATED “INDEPENDENT NATIONS” wherein the CLAIMANT GROUPS can, working together, co-cultivate a WORKING VERSION of that PURELY IMAGINARY LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION.  It doesn’t matter if there are large numbers of indigenous aboriginals Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents that are NOT WILLING to abandon their MITAKUYE OYASIN (everything is related) understanding and DON’T WANT TO SUPPORT such UNREAL, FRAGMENTING WESTERN CULTURE PSEUDO-REALITIES, which as Bohm points out, “ARE DRIVING US CRAZY”  … “…while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc.

 

In spite of its downsides, there remains in WESTERN CULTURE, a SUPPORTING ‘quorum’ (why not since it means getting ownership of one’s own tract of land?) needed to PRETEND that this FRAGMENTING IMAGINARY PSEUDO-REALITY actually exists (i.e. to speak as if it [one’s own ‘independent’ nation] does exist as a local, explicit thing in spite of what the indigenous aboriginals say.).  The requires the discipline of a controlling majority willing to perform the COLONIZING in exchange for a piece of the COLONIZED, IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDED TRACT OF LAND along with a commitment to BEAR ARMS as necessary to SECURE and MAINTAIN OWNERSHIP.  This also comes with the necessary willingness to ACKNOWLEDGE ) the agreed legitimacy of the elected LEADERSHIP of the NATION’S ADMINISTRATORS.   As a COMMUNITY OF INDEPENDENT NATIONS, there is also a requirement to accept the time-to-time addition of NEW INDEPENDENT NATIONS and/or REMOVING PARTS OF EXISTING ONES as is currently underway with the UKRAINE and RUSSIA and also underway with ISRAEL and PALESTINE.  All of this IMAGINATION BASED FRAGMENTATION of what is in sense-experience reality a continuous landscape does not depend on a commitment from EVERYONE (the indigenous aboriginals continue to have annual protest marches along the imaginary boundary line defining U.S. Canada as SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT POLITICAL ENTITIES.  The systems of government with military backup of the INDEPENDENT NATIONS ensures the persistence of backers for this IMAGINARY SCHEME, whether or not those backers are doing so from the point of view of securing a piece of REAL-ESTATE in the nationalist venture, or like the indigenous aboriginals, simply ‘going along with’ the FRAGMENTATIVE DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE based scheme that they do NOT have the power to revoke, even as the DYSFUNCTIONAL NATURE of it continues to manifest as BOHM has pointed out (see above note on FRAGMENTATION).

 

The STABILITY as to the RETENTION of this FRAGMENTATION (which is all in the ‘heads’ of the global social collective and ignored by whomever can get away with ignoring it (including at a minimum, the four-leggeds and the winged and crawling ones who are NOT encumbered by the crazy, synthetically FRAGMENTING schemes of certain organized factions of the two-leggeds which exist and persist thanks to the powerful influence of weaponry that advancing technology continues to make more lethal).  The ‘ARMS RACE’ as it has been called, is supporting a second generation of LAND SEIZURES for those who missed out on the first rounds of ‘musical’ chairs.

 

Because of the DISMAL FUTURE PROSPECTS of how this military might driven, FRAGMENTATION based system of INDEPENDENT NATIONS (INDEPENDENCE has always been a JOKE as the RICH get RICHER and the POOR get POORER, thanks to the reality that BALANCE of MILITARY POWER has become the more dominant influence in the sustaining of peaceful relations than the presumed natural inclination in support of social harmony and good will.

 

The many influences impacting how the future of the GLOBAL SOCIAL DYNAMIC unfolds makes predictions very difficult but this note is focused on things we know are MISTAKES that we need to fix, such as BINARY LOGIC based FRAGMENTATION fuelled by ERRORS in our WESTERN CULTURE THOUGHT and LANGUAGE that is PROGRESSIVELY UNDERMINING our natural tendency towards social-relational balance and harmony.

THE BINARY LOGIC PROBLEM IN WESTERN CULTURE “INDEPENDENT” NATION-DEFINING THAT GIVES RISE TO PROBLEMS OF FRAGMENTATION AND OBSCURANTISM.

 

Russian Psychologist Lev Vygotsky has pointed out in his classic work Мышление И Речь, Психологические Исследования – … Myshleniye I Rech’, Psikhologicheskiye Issledovaniya (Thinking and Speech, Psychological Research)  commonly referred to by the English language translation title “THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE”, that SOCIAL FRAGMENTATION is coming from SERIOUS ERRORS in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT WE NEED TO RESOLVE.

 

Vygotsky’s discovery in his research was that “THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE” have a WAVE-LIKE relationship wherein there is both a REAL and IMAGINARY component which Vygotsky refers to by the terms SCIENTIFIC for the REAL component and SPONTANEOUS for the IMAGINARY COMPONENT.

 [local and explicit] and spontaneous [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation”   implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

Vygotsky further discovered that the European habit promoted by Piaget, which had become globally dominant, was to SPLIT APART the natural WAVE-STRUCTURE hat language must deal with wherein the LOCAL and EXPLICIT form of LANGUAGE corresponds to the REAL (WAVE) COMPONENT while the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT  form of LANGUAGE corresponds to the IMAGINARY (WAVE) COMPONENT.  PROBLEM! … in WESTERN CULTURE SCHOOLING, to make things easier for the STUDENTS, there is DROP OUT of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT COMPONENT because it is difficult to manage, and to thus to employ ONLY and ON ITS OWN, the LOCAL and EXPLICIT component.   That is, in the evolving of our WESTERN CULTURE EDUCATIONAL APPROACH, it was deemed EASIER to teach SCIENTIFIC LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING (i.e. the LOCAL and EXPLICIT aka the REAL COMPONENT) “ON ITS OWN” and simply DROP OUT the SPONTANEOUS (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT aka IMAGINARY COMPONENT).  WAIT A SECOND!  THE SPONTANEOUS and the SCIENTIFIC ARE “NOT” TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT COMPONENTS, … THESE CONCEPTS REPRESENT TWO SIDES OF THE SAME (WAVE-BASED) CONCEPT FORMATION, as was Vygotsky’s actual research finding, IN WHICH CASE IT MAKES NO SENSE TO “SPLIT THEM APART” NOR TO COMPOUND THAT MISTAKE BY “THROWING OUT ONE OF THE PARTS”.

 

An example of this DOUBLE ERROR in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME is; where we use “THE TOWN IS GROWING” which is the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ‘SCIENTIFIC COMPONENT’  (the peak) without the female ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING ‘SPONTANEOUS COMPONENT’ (the trough).

 

ACHTUNG!  NOTE BENE!  WHERE IS THE FEMALE CONJUGATE?   … THE ERROR THAT VYGOTSKY IS PICKING UP ON IS THAT … THESE concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation” .    (the peak and the trough’) which means that WE CAN’T KEEP ONE PART AND THROW THE OTHER PART OUT because THERE IS ONLY ONE PART WITH A CONJUGATE ASPECT.   In other words, the “SCIENTIFIC” (the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING) DOES NOT EXIST WITHOUT ITS CONJUGATE “SPONTANEOUS”  (the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING) in which case we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE CREATING AN ABSTRACTION, as VYGOTSKY IS DESCRIBING IN HIS CRITIQUE OF PIAGET’S SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR MAKING THIS MISTAKE:

 

“Our disagreement with Piaget centers on one point only, but an important point. He assumes that development and instruction are entirely separate, incommensurate processes, that the function of instruction is merely to introduce adult ways of thinking, which conflict with the child’s own and eventually supplant them. Such a supposition stems from the old psychological tradition of separating the structural from the functional aspects of development.” –Vygotsky

 

We can think of it this way.  In our own home-schooling of our children, it is often easier to just TELL OUR CHILDREN HOW TO DO THINGS due the complexity of the language we need in order to supply the full context.  As Kepler observed in this respect, while it is CONVENIENT to employ a simplified account of complex things, it can become dysfunctional when and if the simplified instructions are employed in ‘real-life situations’ where the full complexity must be addressed;

 

As regards the academies, they are established in order to regulate the studies of the pupils and are concerned not to have the program of teaching change very often: in such places, because it is a question of the progress of the students, it frequently happens that the things which have to be chosen are not those which are most true but those which are most easy. And by that division in things which makes different people form different judgements, it so happens that certain people are in error contrary to their own opinion.” – Johannes Kepler, ‘Harmonies of the World’

 

For example, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are in the habit of using SIMPLIFIED LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS (BINARY LOGIC based PROPOSITIONS can only handle one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING PROPOSITIONS which are INCOMPLETE per Goedel’s Theorem) such as “WE HAVE DOUBLED THE AREA OF OUR CROP CULTIVATING”.  This PROPOSITION CAN BE TRUE BUT ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS ARE INCOMPLETE, and we UNDERSTAND at some level, though we are not expressing it in language, that THERE IS A CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS that comes with GROWTH of area of CULTIVATION, in which case what is REALLY HAPPENING which our TRUE PROPOSITION DID NOT CAPTURE is TRANSFORMATION of the LANDSCAPE due to the CONJUGATE GROWTH of CROPLANDS and SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE IS THAT WE EMPLOY A SYSTEM FOR EDUCATING OUR CHILDREN WHICH USES SIMPLIFYING SHORTCUTS such as where we SPEAK IN TERMS OF “GROWTH”, “DEVELOPMENT” and “PRODUCTION” which are all one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING CONJUGATES WHICH DROP OUT ALL MENTION of FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE, SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, DISSIPATIVE AGING, and CONSUMPTION of FINITE RESOUCES, which, when these male and female pieces of description are all pulled together, infer what is REALLY GOING ON which is TRANSFORMATION.  With this MORE REALISTIC SENSE OF A TRANSFORMING REALITY IN MIND, we are in a position to critique our earlier, INCOMPLETE linguistic conceptualizations, including the GROSS INCOMPLETENESS of one-sided male-asserting/actualizing dynamics based on GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION.

 

When we SIMPLIFY the explanations we share with our children, it is similar to how AI DESCRIBES THESE THINGS.  NOTE THAT ALL OF THE the three positive propositions of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENTand PRODUCTION are ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING PROPOSITIONS that AI accepts and treats as if it knows what they are, but the fact is that a system designed to dealt with the things that are LOCAL and EXPLICIT is unable to JUMP UP ON ITS OWN SHOULDERS and LOOK DOWN ON ITSELF IN ACTION, and thus observe that things do not make sense in this case if they are missing the important (key) understanding that what is going on is TRANSFORMATION… which is purely RELATIONAL and FROM WITHIN WHICH we and our VOYEUR eyes can impose on it our MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING propositions such as GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION thanks to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.

 

AI Overview (of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION)

As in our SIMPLIFIED explanations given to children based on the PIAGET type of assumption that  “the function of instruction is merely to introduce adult ways of thinking, which conflict with the child’s own and eventually supplant them.”, this leads to a FRAGMENTED, PIECEMEAL MODE OF UNDERSTANDING as in the AI OVERVIEW of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION which is all in one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING terms which make no mention of our sense-experience reality based understanding wherein we are INCLUDED IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, which cannot be captured in LANGUAGE that is limited to one-sided male asserting/actualizing PROPOSITIONS such as GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION, but which includes the female accommodating/enabling conjugates of SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, DISSIPATIVE AGING and CONSUMPTION of finite resources, and thus OVERALL TRANSFORMATION as in sense-experience affirmed REALITY.

THIS DROP OUT of the SPONTANEOUS aka the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING IS WHERE THE FRAGMENTATION identified by Bohm is coming from because the SPONTANEOUS is giving us the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT which is where the INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE is coming from in the energy-charged PLENUM.

 

THERE IS A HUMONGOUS MISTAKE BEING MADE HERE IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE APPROACH TO EDUCATING OUR CHILDREN (as also complained about by Ronald Laing and by Jules Henry).  WE ARE THROWING OUT OUR ACKNOWLEDGING OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE and GOING SOLELY WITH THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING. THE DROPPING OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE IS THE SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION WARNED ABOUT BY BOHM.

 

IT all starts with our FAILURE to acknowledge the conjugate WAVE-FIELD STRUCTURE of the world we are living in;  “Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation”   implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

 

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE IS THAT WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE TOSSING OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE.  NOW WE KNOW WHERE THE DISAPPEARANCE OF the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE, THE “DEA ABSCONDITA (GODDESS IN HIDING) is ‘coming from’, we are building it into our EDUCATION SYSTEM by DROPPING OUT the SPONTANEOUS and GOING SOLELY WITH THE SCIENTIFIC WHICH MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE THESE TWO, the SPONTANEOUS AND THE SCIENTIFIC,  ARE CONJUGATES AND DO NOT EXIST AS SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ENTITIES, so that what we call the SCIENTIFIC is a CRIPPLED VERSION OF THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE which comes from our having HACKED OFF the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE WILDERNESS which continues to OPEN UP AND MAKE WAY for the non-interfered with ASSERTING of SCIENTIFIC (tell-it-like-it-is, local and explicit) PROPOSITIONS.

 

As Bohm points out, we are FRAGMENTED into different areas of investigation each of which have their own specialized vocabularies and we are all using slightly different models which attempt to explain the SAME THINGS but from differing “angles” and with differing ‘specialized languages’.  The two complementing conjugates of the WAVE-FIELD do not have to be seen in terms of the SCIENTIFIC and SPONTANEOUS as in the architecture of thought and language, there are other models which try to fit the data coming from a different suite of assumptions and components such as the two sides of the brain;

McGilchrist’s widely-read book, The Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World, makes the case that the left hemisphere has taken over our minds and reshaped the world in its image in a way that is good for neither humans nor the planet and everything that lives on it.

“[It] treats the world as a simple resource to be exploited. It’s made us enormously powerful. It’s enabled us to become wealthy, but it’s also meant that we’ve lost the means to understand the world, to make sense of it, to feel satisfaction and fulfilment through our place in the world.”

The REDUCTION TO THE LEFT BRAIN IS EQUIVALENT TO THE REDUCTION TO THE ‘SCIENTIFIC’ and the TOSSING OUT of the ‘SPONTANEOUS       “Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation”   implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

 

AGAIN, VYGOTSKY’S POINT IS THAT THESE TWO INFLUENCES, THE SCIENTIFIC (LOCAL AND EXPLICIT) AND THE SPONTANEOUS (NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT) EXIST ONLY AS CONJUGATES AND DO NOT EXIST AS SEPARATE ENTITIES IN WHICH CASE IT MAKES NO SENSE TO SPEAK OF THROWING OUT THE SPONTANEOUS AND GOING WITH THE SCIENTIFIC ON ITS OWN.   THE RESULT OF THIS MISTAKE IS ‘FRAGMENTATION’ SINCE THE SPONTANEOUS WHICH WE ARE THROWING OUT IS THE THING THAT CONNECTS!

 

What we are discovering here is that our WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE is not up to the job of capturing the dynamics that transpire within a WAVE-FIELD WORLD.

 

THERE ARE MORE COMMON EXAMPLES OF THIS SCREW-UP IN WESTERN CULTURE; i.e. the MINER’S CANARY mistake where we mistakenly assume that a person behaving weirdly has ‘something wrong with him’ when the real issue is that he is a perfectly healthy sensitive person and it is the environment he is in that is screwed up.

 

The following are TWO EXAMPLES where the experiencing of PSYCHIATRIC ILLNESS ties to the combination of SENSITIVE PEOPLE in TOXIC ENVIRONMENTS where WHAT NEEDS FIXING is the TOXIC ENVIRONMENT but where MAINSTREAM PSYCHIATRY is assuming that the illness originates WITHIN THE PERSON WHO IS ILL.

 

In my own personal experiences of being a visitor in psychiatric hospitals, I had the following exchange with an ‘inmate’, ‘Jane’ who I happened to meet and over a period of several weeks, have conversations with and fetching coffees for her from Starbucks (she was in the ‘lock-up’)She was in the wake of her sixth suicide attempt which this time, had put her into a two week long coma, and she shared the following in one of our conversations;

 

“Every time, after a few weeks in here, they say I am cured. Sure I am cured, for living in a highly empathic society such as the psychiatric ward tends to be, but I am not cured for going back into society which is a rat race made even tougher by my being marked as a defect and a loser. See, this bus pass is marked ‘handicapped’. I tried to get off handicapped and go on ordinary welfare even though it was $300. less but they wouldn’t let me.” She also expressed the view that society was moving in the opposite direction of ‘more empathy’.

This understanding of dysfunctional behaviour in individuals coming NOT FROM THE INDIVIDUAL BUT FROM A TOXIC ENVIRONMENT is NOT NEW but it JUST HAS NO PLACE TO GO IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE SOCIETY for whom the model of the INDEPENDENT BEING that is FULLY AND SOLELY THE AUTHOR OF HIS/HER OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT IS IMPORTANT TO THE “EGO”.  That is, the EGO does NOT WANT TO HEAR, NOR ACCEPT that TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE because that contains the understanding that there is a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING influence that is a PRIMARY INFLUENCE while our MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ‘push’ is SECONDARY.   When family member receives a PUNCH from another person that (so it is common to say) SHATTERS HIS SKULL, the family does not want to hear talk of the skull being an EGG-SHELL SKULL because, although it may well be the case that the damage to the SKULL was MORE DUE TO THE WEAKNESS of the SKULL than to the POWER OF THE PUNCH, WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE WILL ONLY ALLOW THE INTERPRETATION THAT THE AUTHOR OF THE PUNCH IS FULLY and SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHATTERING OF THE SKULL.

 

WHY NOT BE HONEST AND ADMIT THAT IT MAY WELL BE THE FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING ‘GIVE’ OF THE SKULL that is MOSTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHATTERING OF THE SKULL AND THAT MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ACTION OF THE PUNCHER was LESS LIABLE for the damage?

 

BUT WE CAN’T BE THAT HONEST, because we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have REMOVED THE FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING CONJUATE FROM OUR COMMON LANGUAGE, LEAVING THE ONLY OPTION OF THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING AGENCY.

 

WHEREVER WE MAY SEE THAT IT MAKES MORE SENSE TO UNDERSTAND A DEVELOPMENT by ACKNOWLEDGING a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE, OUR WESTERN CULTURE BLOCKS IT because of our having removed that FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING OPTION from our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME. 

 

THE ABOVE COMES INTO PLAY INTO THE ‘MINER’S CANARY’ (MIS-) UNDERSTANDING, as the following examples explain;

Jill Astbury makes the point that psychological issues can manifest in an individual experiencing the stress of being in a group of differing others whose sensitivities may be lower so that rising ambient stress or toxicity goes unnoticed by the less sensitive while the most sensitive suffer ‘breakdowns’.  In this situation, the immediate assumption may be that those suffering breakdowns have a weakness IN THEIR INTERNAL MAKEUP and are prone to psychological illness rather than sensitive to toxic environments.  Meanwhile, the individual’s psycho-physical functioning will be investigated, and remediation therapies applied, in a quiet and non-toxic hospital environment, seeking the answer to ‘what is wrong with them’ and the toxic environment will be missed.

SUM-UP COMMENT:  ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCUSSION POINTS TO ONE AND THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT LIES IN OUR LANGUAGE.  WE LIVE IN A WAVE-FIELD REALITY WHICH IS WELL SUPPORTED BY A NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM FLOW-BASED LANGUAGE but CANNOT BE SUPPORTED BY A BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM based LANGUAGE.  BECAUSE our WESTERN CULTURE COMMON LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME DROPS OUT ACKNOWLEDEMENT OF FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING WAVE-FIELD CONJUGATE AND DUMBS US DOWN TO OUR USE OF ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS, we are unable to CAPTURE IN OUR LANGUAGE, situations that only make sense when we ACKNOWLEDGE the influence of a FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE which in WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is COMMONLY MISSING, hence the reference to a ‘DEA ABSCONDITA (GODDESS IN HIDING).  

 

There is CONFUSION in the fact that a FARMER is given FULL CREDIT for his AUTHORSHIP of a BUMPER CROP OF WHEAT, due to HIS DILIGENCE in preparing and cultivating the soil, sowing the fields and tending to the watering of the crops etc.  It is the TRUTH of these propositions that gives us confidence that they explain the excellent results of the BUMPER CROP OF WHEAT.

 

The CONFUSION comes into play when we consider the FARMER’S  TWIN BROTHER who is equally skilled, whose nearby property was flooded by severe thunderstorms during planting, and shortly before harvest devastated by A HAILSTORM giving rise to a dismal final harvest result.  There is an INCOMPLETENESS to the LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS which we use to capture the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate of the unfolding reality, in that the bankrupt TWIN did everything that his BROTHER DID so that the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING side of the accounting sheet was pretty much identical, and it is only in the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate dynamic as associated with AMBIENT INFLUENCES that there were major differences, thus suggesting that LANGUAGE BASED SOLELY ON MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (the SCIENTIFIC component) wherein there is a DROPPING OUT OF MENTION of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (the SPONTANEOUS component) can be very MISLEADING.

 

AS VYGOTSKY HAS POINTED OUT (EVIDENTLY TO NO AVAIL) WESTERN CULTURE EDUCATION HAS ORIENTED TO SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT FORMATION TOGETHER WITH A DROPPING OUT OF SPONTANEOUS CONCEPT FORMATION.   BUT THIS IN ERROR because the SCIENTIFIC and the SPONTANEOUS are CONJUGATES in which case IT MAKES NO SENSE TO SPEAK OF USING SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT FORMATION ON ITS OWN BECAUSE WITHOUT ITS CONJUGATE, IT DOES NOT EXIST.  WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK OF GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION of goods, THESE THINGS DO NOT EXIST because they only ‘arise’ together with their CONJUGATES of SHRINKING, DECAY, and CONSUMPTION, and we know such conjugates from our sense-experience as TRANSFORMATION.  As Schroedinger points out, GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION (which are all about the LOCAL and EXPLICIT) are “SCHAUMKOMMEN” (APPEARANCE).   They are NOT REAL.  THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT IS REAL.

AS SHOWN ABOVE, THE WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME IS SCREWED UP AND THE WESTERN CULTURE SYSTEMS OF LEADERSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION WHICH CONTINUE TO BE BASED ON TOO-SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM ARE THE SOURCE OF OUR LOCK-IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS (rewards and punishment schemes) TO PERSISTING FRAGMENTATIVE AND OBSCURANTIST DYSFUNCTION.

 

Where the WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE needs to get to is to the RESTORATIVE JUSTICE approach of indigenous aboriginals, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta but the road we’re on is largely administered by supporters of PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE whose pathway to progress is NOT by way of cultivating HARMONY where there is DISSONANCE but to identify, reward and proliferate the good BINARY BEINGS and identify, punish and eliminate the bad BINARY BEINGS, as has been supported by the Judaic, Christian and Islamic traditional BINARY LOGIC based approaches and MILITARY CONFLICTS.
