This note ‘started off’ to be an explanation of the relationship between BINARY LOGIC (two-state EITHER/OR LOGIC) and QUANTUM LOGIC (three state BOTH/AND BALANCE LOGIC).  BINARY LOGIC pervades our WESTERN CULTURE while QUANTUM LOGIC pervades indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.  This gets into the different use and influence of LOCAL and EXPLICIT vis a vis the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

 

In terms of WAVE-FIELD theory, these are referred to as the REAL and IMAGINARY components of a COMPLEX REALITY (the WAVE-FIELD).

 

EMERSON and NIETZSCHE focused, respectively, on the IMAGINARY and REAL components while BOHM focused on the WAVE-FIELD itself. 

 

So, I have ‘adjusted’ the orientation of this ‘note’ to serve the BRINGING INTO CONNECTIVE CONFLUENCE, all THREE of these contributions to understanding the WAVE-FIELD nature or reality.  Emerson is using romantic language to allude to the often forgotten NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT aspect of reality. Nietzsche is alluding to the WESTERN CULTURE popularized LOCAL and EXPLICIT with an aggressive approach that aims to SHATTER its pretention to ‘completeness’ by WESTERN CULTURE language architecture’s attempt to foist the MALE ASSERTIVE CONJUGATE on us, as if to declare that that is all that is necessary for capturing ‘reality’. 

Nietzsche’s ‘DOUBLE ERROR’ label is an intentional pejorative used to SMASH the concept of the LOCAL AUTHOR and show that it is an ARTIFICIAL CREATION achieved by GLOMMING TOGETHER the language operatives of NAMING and GRAMMAR so that the NAMING establishes a LOCAL PRESENCE and the GRAMMAR conflates this by imputing the POWER OF AUTHORING ACTION to the LOCAL PRESENCE.   The LOCAL AUTHOR concept is thus a DECEPTION that needs to be SMASHED in the same sense that the Celts SMASHED STATUES since they implied that something innately spiritual (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) could be reduced to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.

 

TODAY, we are in possession of a HUGE ARCHIVE of WRITINGS, most of which are giving a foundational role to the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR which is imputing LOCAL AUTHORING.  THESE CONSTRUCTIONS NEED TO BE SMASHED in order to get to the sense-experience affirmable understanding which is FLUID as in the WAVE-FIELD dynamic.

 

Bohm’s orientation has always been to GET IT RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE by employing a FLOW-BASED language architecture (e.g. his Rheomode language, which he has pointed out, is a language architecture that has already been developed and exists in the indigenous aboriginal languages).  So, here is where EMERSON, NIETZSCHE and BOHM are respectively “COMING FROM”

 

Emerson: Pointing out in The Method of Nature, that the ALL-INCLUDING FLUID ASPECT of NATURE is DROPPED OUT by our language architecture and we end up ‘going only with the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, having dropped out the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT;

 

A man’s wisdom is to know that all ends are momentary, that the best end must be superseded by a better. But there is a mischievous tendency in him to transfer his thought from the life to the ends, to quit his agency and rest in his acts: the tools run away with the workman, the human with the divine. — Emerson

 

In other words, in our use of thought and language, the local and explicit which is meant only as a Wittgenstein Ladder to INFER the fluid reality; i.e. the NONLOCAL, IMPLICIT WAVE-FIELD CONTINUUM that lies beyond the reach of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, that latter having utility BUT ONLY AS TOOL OF INFERENCE of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

 

The WESTERN CULTURE SCREW-UP IS THUS the DUMBING DOWN (SIMPLIFYING) of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.  This SIMPLIFICATION or “SIMPLI-FICTION” is done simply by injecting a SUBSTITUTE REALITY which IS capturable in LOCAL, EXPLICIT language constructs, so that is what we END UP WITH using, i.e. bunch of LOCAL and EXPLICIT ‘IDOLS’ which are like the STATUES of GODS and MEN that Brennus and the Celts SMASHED because the very existence of these statues implied that the SUBJECTS could be reduced to LOCAL and EXPLICIT components.  This was the same issue as induced Charles Dickens to write ‘HARD TIMES’ wherein the school teacher Gradgrind, is mocked for his attempts to PURGE THE POETIC (the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) from his students thinking entirely.

 

Charles Dickens in ‘Hard Times’ in the sequence where ‘Sissy Jupe’s relational understanding of a horse is ‘put down’ by her teacher Thomas Gradgrind who insists on grounding all understanding in ‘being’-based ‘facts’ as is the way of mainstream ‘science’;

 

“Now, what I want is, Facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but Facts. Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. This is the principle on which I bring up my own children, and this is the principle on which I bring up these children. Stick to Facts, sir!”

THERE IS A BATTLE GOING ON IN WESTERN CULTURE WHICH HAS BEEN PUSHING THE OVERALL SOCIAL COLLECTIVE IN THE DIRECTION OF GOING EXCLUSIVELY WITH THE ‘LOCAL AND EXPLICIT’ AND ‘DROPPING OUT ENTIRELY’, THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT.

 

THIS IS NOTHING OTHER THAN THE REDUCTION OF THE WAVE-DYNAMIC WHICH IS MATHEMATICALLY CONSTITUTE BY BOTH ‘REAL’ (LOCAL, EXPLICIT) AND ‘IMAGINARY’ (NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT) ‘COMPONENTS’.

 

For example, the indigenous aboriginal language will convey the equivalent of ‘there is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’ which captures BOTH the LOCAL and EXPLICIT ‘TOWNING’ but keeps it in context with the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ‘TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’.  MEANWHILE, our WESTERN CULTURE language will SEPARATE OUT the LOCAL and EXPLICIT and use GRAMMAR to ANIMATE IT as if it were an INDEPENDENT THING-IN-ITSELF with its own POWERS OF AUTHORING actions and development, strutting its stuff within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE CONTAINING SPACE. as in ‘the TOWN is GROWING, DEVELOPING, PRODUCING products and services.

 

OK, THAT IS A BRIEF ACCOUNT OF WHERE EMERSON AND NIETTZSCHE ARE COMING FROM; i.e. EMERSON is employing poetic language to get to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT aspect of reality and pointing out that we have abandoned it and are instead making EXCLUSIVE use of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT which one might say is the LESSER ASPECT.  NIETZSCHE IS NOW LEFT TO DEAL WITH THE WESTERN CULTURE SUBSTITUTE REALITY WHEREIN THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT IS GIVEN THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE (WHICH IS WHERE BINARY LOGIC WHICH AFFIRMS THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT AS IN “EITHER” IS “OR” IS NOT  IS GIVEN PRECEDENCE OVER QUANTUM LOGIC WHICH AFFIRMS THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT AS IN BALANCE AND IMBALANCE).

 

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, DAVID BOHM WHO HAS ‘HELD OUT’ FOR A FULLY ‘WAVE-FIELD CAPABLE’ LANGUAGE (A FLOW-BASED LANGUAGE) SO THAT WE DON’T EVEN BEGIN TO GENERATE MASSIVE FILES OF SCREWED UP LANGUAGE BASED REPRESENTATION BASED ON THE INNATELY DEFICIENT COMMON AVERAGE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE WITH ITS DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR, LOCAL AUTHORING STRUCTURES.
