This short article has been titled ‘THE GRAND SUM-UP’ because it goes straight to the heart of where-and-how WESTERN CULTURE SPLITS OFF from EASTERN CULTURE (indigenous aboriginal culture, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta); i.e. in their mutually contradicting ARCHITECTURES OF LANGUAGE,

 

HOW COULD IT BE that two groups of people could come up with such RADICALLY DIFFERING “REALITIES” as (A) THE QUANTUM LOGIC WAVE-FIELD REALITY where material forms are ‘condensations’ within the ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD wherein EVERYTHING IS RELATED … and (B) THE BINARY LOGIC MATERIAL OBJECT REALITY where material forms are ABSOLUTELY EXISTING LOCAL EXPLICIT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE wherein ALL THINGS ARE INDEPENDENT? The former group seeing REALITY in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT terms of a continually flowing wave-field and the latter group seeing REALITY in the LOCAL and EXPLICIT terms of independent material beings interacting in empty space?

 

[[ we shall see how the WAVE-FIELD nature of REALITY can support BOTH the REAL (LOCAL and EXPLICIT MATERIALIST) as in ‘the TOWN is GROWING’, … AND, the IMAGINARY (NONLOCAL, IMPLICIT RELATIONAL) as in ‘There is TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE’, as “OPTIONAL REALITIES”, … and how there is a LINGUISTIC HIJACKING by WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGES; i.e. a TAKE-OVER by LOCAL and EXPLICIT MATERIAL OBJECT based REALITY (composed of INDEPENDENT FRAGMENTS IN EMPTY SPACE), that ECLIPSES the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT RELATIONAL REALITY, thanks to the SIMPLICITY of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT.]]

 

At the bottom of this is the LANGUAGE-BASED SPLIT between LANGUAGE with a QUANTUM LOGIC  REALITY foundation wherein EVERYTHING IS RELATED (mitakuye oyasin) as supported by the Modern physics understanding wherein material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including WAVE-FIELD, … versus a BINARY LOGIC REALITY foundation wherein EVERYTHING IS INDEPENDENT, an abstract notion INFUSED INTO WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURES and REAFFIRMED by NEWTONIAN physics, giving a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN REALITY to the ABSTRACTION of INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS” that notionally reside in ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE, this WESTERN CULTURE cosmology persisting due to its having been BUILT INTO THE BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE that now serves as our WESTERN  CULTURE OPERATIVE REALITY.

 

‘The WESTERN CULTURE supporting the use of a BINARY LOGIC LANGUAGE base with its LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, … and the indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoism/Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta which support the use of a QUANTUM LOGIC LANGUAGE base with its NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, which is consistent with MODERN PHYSICS’

The WESTERN CULTURE “ERROR” which is in fact the Nietzsche identified LANGUAGE-based “DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING and GRAMMAR” that invokes the UNREAL ABSTRACTION of “LOCAL AUTHORING” is the SOURCE of growing FRAGMENTATION that, in the WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE is “LOCKED IN BY THE HIGH SWITCHING COSTS” to overcome PRIDE and PROFIT.

We live in (share inclusion in) the all-including transforming relational continuum, also known as the WAVE-FIELD.  As Modern physics attests, we, and all material forms are CONDENSATIONS OF THE ALL-INCLUDING WAVE-FIELD, which is beyond capture in ANY LANGUAGE because the whole of reality is a continuing flow.

 

Meanwhile, LANGUAGES have been developed which are composed of symbols or words that give persisting meaning.  Since everything is in flux, persisting patterns  tagged with persisting symbol-based words  (allusion to sense-experience based impressions which are ‘patterns’ that persist and do not, once they are uttered, change their meaning, can only INFER the sense-experience reality of inclusion in the flow (aka the Tao).  So, while ‘the Tao than can be told is not the true Tao’, as Lao Tzu points out, BECAUSE everything in sense-experience reality is in flux, LANGUAGE based on sounds or symbols that PERSIST in their meaning-giving, cannot directly capture a REPRESENTATION of the FLUID REALITY of our SENSE-EXPERIENCE, however, systems based on symbols.   There are LANGUAGE-based WORK-AROUNDS, such as described by Wittgenstein, where the symbols are used are not offered as ‘symbols for things’’ but are designed for subservience to the fluid dynamical reality they are inferring.

 

This LANGUAGE ARCHITECTURE SCHEME based on ‘symbols for things’ used as an expedient to capture the ‘RELATIONS AMONG THINGS’ which are in constant flux, opens the way to a system of language that works by ‘relational inference’, avoiding persisting ‘thingness’ of material being which BLOCKS the language goal of conveying impressions of a reality in continuing flux.  Wittgenstein speaks of this ‘tactic’ where language based on ‘symbols’ such as alphabetic symbols and ‘words’ with ‘fixed meaning’ can appear to ‘overcome’ their ‘static inference foundations’;

 

6.54 My propositions are elucidatory in this way: he who understands me finally recognizes them as senseless, when he has climbed out through them, on them, over them. (He must so to speak throw away the ladder, after he has climbed up on it.)

He must surmount these propositions; then he sees the world rightly.

Here we can see that what is being suggested is to use language for CONCEPTUALIZATION rather than REPRESENTATION.   That is, REPRESENTATION of a transforming relational continuum IS NOT FEASIBLE when the REPRESENTATION SCHEME IS CONSTRAINED TO UNCHANGING BUILDING BLOCK ELEMENTS WITH FIXED, PERSISTING MEANING.

 

HOWEVER, what Wittgenstein is pointing out is that the basic symbolic elements can be chosen NOT WITH THE PURPOSE OF REPRESENTATION in mind, which is HOPELESS where one is trying to REPRESENT a FLUID REALITY using symbols that convey FIXED MEANING.  But this ALTERNATIVE is different where we admit that the symbols, because they are fixed, while they are not capable of REPRESENTATION, “ARE CAPABLE OF CONCEPTUALIZATION” which works by ‘tricking the observing mind’ to get it to recall sense-experience which is part of the ongoing transforming relational continuum

 

CONCEPTUALIZATION AS THE BASIS OF LANGUAGE RATHER THAN REPRESENTATION takes the LANGUAGE DESIGNER down a DIFFERENT PATH.
