WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, BECAUSE OF OUR TOO SIMPLE “BEING-BASED LANGUAGE” ARE CONFRONTED WITH THE ISSUE THAT HERACLITUS ADDRESSED BUT WHICH WESTERN CULTURE, BY FOLLOWING THE SIMPLIFIED “BEING-BASED LANGUAGE” DESIGN OF PARMENIDES, CONTINUES TO SCREW-UPON.  THE FACT IS THAT IT IS A SCREW-UP TO GIVE A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE TO “BEING” IN LANGUAGE DESIGN BECAUSE, FOR EXAMPLE, BY ASSIGNING THE “BEING-BASED” NAMES “MOUNTAIN AND VALLEY” to those familiar features, rather than going with VERBS such as MOUNTAINING and VALLEYING, WE OPEN THE DOOR TO STATEMENTS SUCH AS “THE AVALANCHE CRASHED DOWN THE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN AND CAME TO REST IN THE VALLEY BELOW”, … THUS OPENING THE CAN OF WORMS THAT “THE MOUNTAIN IS NO LONGER THE SAME MOUNTAIN AND THE VALLEY IS NO LONGER THE SAME VALLEY”.

We recognize in this, Heraclitus’ “EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX” observation; “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.”

EVERY TIME WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS USE INCOMPLETE-BECAUSE BEING-BASED LANGUAGE SUCH AS “THE AVALANCHE CRASHED DOWN THE MOUNTAINSIDE”, we are INTRODUCING THE CONFUSION that comes with GOEDEL’S THEOREM of the “INCOMPLETENESS OF ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS”, … and the INCOMPLETENESS is that WHILE OUR POSITIVE (ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING) STATEMENT IS “TRUE”, it is as the same time “INCOMPLETE” because it is IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE AN AVALANCHE CRASH DOWN THE MOUNTAINSIDE WITHOUT LEAVING A BIG HOLE  IN THE MOUNTAINSIDE SUCH THAT “THE MOUNTAIN IS NO LONGER THE SAME MOUNTAIN”.

BY USING A “BEING” BASED LANGUAGE IN A REALITY WHEREIN EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, WE ARE INTRODUCING WHAT NIETZSCHE CALLS “THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR” which  SIMULATES “UNREAL LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT” in a world where our SENSE-EXPERIENCE IS INFORMING US THAT EVERYTHING IS INCONTINUING FLUX SO THAT IT IS A MISTAKE TO DESIGN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME WITH “THE BUILT-IN LOCAL AUTHORING FALSEHOOD”.   WE ARE LIVING WITHIN AN ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM WHEREIN “EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX” WHEREIN…. 1 FRAGMENTATION AND WHOLENESS  (from Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm)

The title of this chapter is ‘Fragmentation and wholeness’. It is especially important to consider this question today, for fragmentation is now very widespread, not only throughout society, but also in each individual; and this is leading to a kind of general confusion of the mind, which creates an endless series of problems and interferes with our clarity of perception so seriously as to prevent us from being able to solve most of them.

Thus art, science, technology, and human work in general, are divided up into specialities, each considered to be separate in essence from the others. Becoming dissatisfied with this state of affairs, men have set up further interdisciplinary subjects, which were intended to unite these specialities, but these new subjects have ultimately served mainly to add further separate fragments. Then, society as a whole has developed in such a way that it is broken up into separate nations and different religious, political, economic, racial groups, etc. Man’s natural environment has correspondingly been seen as an aggregate of separately existent parts, to be exploited by different groups of people. Similarly, each individual human being has been fragmented into a large number of separate and conflicting compartments, according to his different desires, aims, ambitions, loyalties, psychological characteristics, etc., to such an extent that it is generally accepted that some degree of neurosis is inevitable, while many individuals going beyond the ‘normal’ limits of fragmentation are classified as paranoid, schizoid, psychotic, etc.

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE NOW COMMONLY USING THE UNREAL LINGUISTIC ABSTRACTION OF “LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS”, FABRICATED USING THE DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR, AS “THE OPERATIVE REALITY” even though it is a NON-EXISTENT PSEUDO-REALITY based on the ABSTRACT NOTION OF “LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL BEINGS” which has NO PLACE IN THE REAL WORLD OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE WHEREIN EVERYTHING IS IN CONTINUAL TRANFORMING FLUX.  SO, YES, THERE ARE SUCH DEVELOPMENTS AS “TOWNINGS IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” WHEREIN EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX, BUT ONLY IN THE ABSTRACTION BASED WORLD OF WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING ARE THERE “TOWNS”, NOTIONAL “LOCAL, EXPLICIT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES” notionally with THEIR OWN GRAMMAR-GIVEN “LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS” of “GROWTH”, “DEVELOPMENT” and “PRODUCTION of GOODS”.  NO! NO! NO!    BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, WHILE THERE IS TOWNING AS A DYNAMIC FEATURE (LIKE WHORLINGS IN FLOWING), THERE ARE NO LOCAL, EXPLICIT “THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES” “TOWNS” WITH THEIR OWN NOTIONAL POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS SUCH AS “GROWING”, “DEVELOPMENT” AND “PRODUCING”.

WHEREVER WE USE THIS KIND OF LANGUAGE WHICH IS ALL ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING BASED (E.G. GROWING, DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING), THERE IS “ALWAYS, AT THE SAME TIME, CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, AGING AND DECAY OF PRIOR CONSTRUCTION, AND CONSUMPTION OF PRIOR PRODUCTION, I.E. NOT AS TWO SEPARATE DYNAMICS  OF (A) MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (GROWING, DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING), AND (B) FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, DECAY OF PRIOR CONSTRUCTION AND CONSUMPTION OF PRIOR PRODUCTION, … BUT AS ONE COMPLEX (ANDROGYNOUS) DYNAMIC WHERE ‘GROWTH’ AND ‘DECAY’ ARE FLIP SIDES OF A SINGLE COINAGE THAT WE KNOW AS “TRANSFORMATION” WHERE THE NEW GROWTH DOES NOT WAIT FOR THE ‘OLD GROWTH’ TO ‘DIE OUT’ PRIOR TO ‘TAKING OVER’.   IN TRANSFORMATION, THE NEW AND THE OLD ARE FLIP SIDES OF A SINGLE COINAGE.  VOLCANIC EXTRUSIONS ARE OUTFLOWS THAT ARE GROWING THE EXTERIOR OF THE EARTH WHILE INTRUSIVE SUBDUCTIONS ARE REPLACING WHAT IS BEING REMOVED BY THE EXTRUSIONS …. ALL WITHIN ONE SINGLE COMPOUND DYNAMIC CALLED ‘TRANSFORMATION’.

MEANWHILE, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS FALL INTO A TRAP in regard to our approach to THINKING, THAT DISTINGUISHES “WEST” (Jews, Christians and Muslims) from “EAST” (indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists, Advaita Vedanta adherents and MODERN PHYSICS).  The difference in understanding comes from the respective practices of “WEST” and “EAST” wherein, while “EAST” understands EXTRUSIONS and SUBDUCTIONS as CONJUGATE ASPECTS of the ONE DYNAMIC OF TRANSFORMATION, “WEST” understanding EXTRUSIONS and SUBDUCTIONS as TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT DYNAMICS.

This difference in understanding THE BASIC DYNAMICS OF THE WORLD, which we use as the foundation our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING of the WORLD, shows up in HOW WE TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO CONCEIVE OF THE WORLD.  For example, as Vygotsky points out, Piaget supports teaching our children to understand the world in a purely mechanical sense.  Vygotsky writes the following;

“Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation”   implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

“Our disagreement with Piaget centers on one point only, but an important point. He assumes that development and instruction are entirely separate, incommensurate processes, that the function of instruction is merely to introduce adult ways of thinking, which conflict with the child’s own and eventually supplant them. Such a supposition stems from the old psychological tradition of separating the structural from the functional aspects of development.” –Vygotsky

“We believe that the two processes —the development of spontaneous and of nonspontaneous concepts — are related and constantly influence one another.  They are parts of a single process:  the development of concept formation, which is affected by varying external and internal conditions but is essentially a unitary process, not a conflict of antagonistic, mutually exclusive forms of thinking.”  — Vygotsky; p. 157  in “Thought and Language”.

Vygotsky’s finding is thus that ‘learning’ has a conjugate structure wherein the SPONTANEOUS and NONSPONTANEOUS ONLY EXIST AS MUTUALLY INTERDEPENDENT CONJUGATES in which case IT MAKES NO SENSE TO DO AS PIAGET DOES WHICH IS TO MAKE THE ‘DOUBLE ERROR’ of (FIRST ERROR) SPLITTING THE CONJUGATES INTO TWO SEPARATE PARTS and (SECOND ERROR), DROPPING OUT THE SPONTANEOUS and USING ONLY THE SCIENTIFIC as if it EXISTED ON ITS OWN WHICH I DOES NOT; i.e. the WAVE is composed of the conjugate combination of PEAK and TROUGH  which, like SCIENTIFIC and SPONTANEOUS are CONJUGATES so that to SIMPLIFY OUR LANGUAGE by DROPPING OUT THE SPONTANEOUS and going with the SCIENTIFIC ON ITS OWN (WHEN IT DOES NOT EXIST “ON ITS OWN”) IS A SERIOUS ERROR.

if we treat the growth of the town (which is just the male part of the transforming of the landscape) as real, then we are implying that the conjugate shrinking of the wilderness exists in its own right and that these two dynamics can be dealt with separately in which case it is OK to focus on GROWTH of the TOWN on its own.   BUT IN REALITY, WE ARE NOT SIMPLY “INCREASING THE SIZE OF THE TOWN”, because of the conjugate relation, we are simultaneously SHRINKING THE WILDERNESS in which case the overall PHYSICALLY REAL DYNAMIC is the TRANSFORMING OF THE LANDSCAPE which comprehends BOTH the GROWTH of the TOWN together with (in conjugate relation with) the SHRINKING of WILDERNESS.  In this case WE ARE MISTAKEN TO SPEAK OF THE GROWTH OF THE TOWN AS IF ON ITS OWN BECAUSE THAT IS NOT REALITY.  The REALITY is THE TRANSFORMINING OF THE LANDSCAPE.

“DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE” ARE A SCAM!   THEY ARE THE SOURCE OF FRAGMENTATION AND ASSOCIATED STRIFE. THEY LEAD DIRECTLY TO THE DYSFUNCITON OF “SUBOPTIMIZATION” .

The PROBLEM WITH WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS that we are using to share our sense-experiences, instead of conveying the actual (sense-experience affirmable) INTERCONNECTEDNESS and INTERDEPENDENCE of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in which we ourselves are CONDENSATIONS, are instead conveying the INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION of a BEING-BASED world of DISCONNECTEDNESS constituted by NOUN-instantiated INDEPENDENT BEINGS with GRAMMAR-GIVEN POWERS of their LOCAL AUTHORING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT AS IF IN AN EMPTY AND INFINITE SPATIAL PLAYING FIELD.

The SIMPLIFICATION that comes with SWAPPING INDEPENDENT MATERIAL OBJECTS IN EMPTY SPACE for CONDENSATIONS IN THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM COMES AT THE PRICE OF LOSING the INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE that is inherent with CONDENSATIONS in the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, but what has been GAINED is the SIMPLICITY that comes with BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the “EXCLUDED” MEDIUM that we are SUBSTITUTING for the innately LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the “INCLUDING MEDIUM”

The LESS SIMPLE (RELATIONALLY INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT) PLENUM based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH, BECAUSE IT ACKNOWLEDGES REAL-WORLD INTERCONNECTIONS and INTERDEPENDENCIES, has been the CONCEPTUALIZATION OF CHOICE of indigenous aboriginals, Taoists, Buddhists (Zen) and Advaita Vedanta adherents.   This conceptualizing approach IS BASED ON NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (acknowledging that material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including energy-charged PLENUM which is characterized by INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE of all CONDENSATIONS.

The SIMPLER DISCONNECTED MATERIAL BEINGS IN EMPTY SPACE CONCEPTUALIZATION is SIMPLER due to its SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the “EXCLUDED MEDIUM” DESIGN which supports a SIMPLER GRAMMAR due to the imputed PASSIVE NATURE of the CONTAINING REALM which in this BINARY LOGIC based case is EMPTY SPACE rather than the LESS SIMPLE but more REALISTIC ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM which invokes NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (i.e. the energy-charged PLENUM “INCLUDES” the MATERIAL CONDENSATIONS so that there are NO MOVING PARTS, there is only the TRANSFORMING WHOLE/PLENUM wherein the ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING is always in CONJUGATE RELATION with the ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING as in the WAVE-FIELD DYNAMIC where the ASSERTIVE PUSHING of the PEAK and the ACCOMMODATING ENABLING of the TROUGH DO NOT EXIST SEPARATELY, “ON THEIR OWN’, as we know from swimming in the ocean, they are OPPOSITE SIDES OF SINGLE PHENOMENON which is otherwise known as TRANSFORMATION of the SUPPORTING MEDIUM.

NEITHER THE PEAK NOR THE TROUGH CAN EXIST “ON ITS OWN” in which case, to speak of them requires LOGIC that is LESS SIMPLE than SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM, because where everything is in flux, the PEAKING and TROUGHING are CONJUGATES of ONE AND THE SAME DYNAMIC which is TRANSFORMATION of the FLUID PLENUM as with CONDENSATIONS of the PLENUM and as with the PURELY RELATIVE DYNAMICS OF STRANDS IN A WEB where the MULTIPLE “COMPONENTS” (e.g. the STRANDS and/or the CONDENSATIONS) ARE, AT THE SAME TIME, THEIR OWN “INCLUDING CONTAINER”.

The Indigenous aboriginal HEALING CIRCLE derives from this LESS SIMPLE but MORE RELEVANT REAL WORLD DYNAMIC captured in the STRAND-IN-THE-WEB structure wherein it is clear that WHILE THE STRAND IS VENTING VIOLENCE, the AUTHORING SOURCE OF THE VIOLENCE IS THE WEB.

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, MEANWHILE, CANNOT SIMPLY SWITCH BACK FROM SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC TO THE MORE CORRECT NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM because of the situation described in the Systems Sciences as “LOCKED-IN BY HIGH SWITCHING COSTS”.  In this particular case, it is evident that WESTERN CULTURE has “BUILT BINARY LOGIC INTO THE SOCIAL SYSTEM” using a REWARDS and PUNISHMENTS APPROACH so that complex HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURES have been progressively evolving to the point that the RESTORING of LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM WILL ENTAIL MAJOR CHANGES in the SOCIAL RELATIONAL PECKING ORDER AND ASSOCIATED REWARDING AND PUNISHING PRACTICES THAT ARE BASED ON BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM.

Consider the fact that NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (as associates with CONDENSATIONS OF THE ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM) SUPPORTS THE RESTORATIVE JUSTICE APPROACH since the understanding is that AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT while the WESTERN CULTURE IMPRESSION of LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHORING is only “APPEARANCE” (Schaumkommen in Schroedinger’s language).

This understanding gives rise to RESTORATIVE JUSTICE to be used INSTEAD of WESTERN CULTURE “PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE” which employs REWARDING AND PUNISHING ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHORING.   As Nietzsche pointed out, the mistaken abstraction of LOCAL AUTHORING derives from the combination of SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC together with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR; e.g. THE TOWN IS GROWING, which, while TRUE, is INCOMPLETE (Goedel’s Theorem) since it fails to acknowledge the CONJUGATE SHRINKING of WILDERNESS.
