BINARY LOGIC is a simple logic that, when we use it, it simply SHUTS THE DOOR on FURTHER THINKING as in ‘INNOCENT or GUILTY’.  Did Jean Valjean steal the loaf of bread or did he not?

 

We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS tend to MOCK those who want to include the ‘extenuating circumstances’ because BINARY LOGIC is the WESTERN CULTURE POPULAR STANDARD for “making sense” of our complex experience

 

QUANTUM LOGIC, on the other hand, is about BALANCE.  Where BINARY LOGIC splits FIGURE and GROUND into TWO, QUANTUM LOGIC accepts FIGURE and GROUND as ONE.

 

The relative merits of BINARY and QUANTUM logic can be seen in the simple example of the HURRICANE that develops in the ATMOSPHERE.

 

BINARY logic represents the HURRICANE as something that EITHER exists OR does not exist and this abstract concept of LOCAL EXISTENCE psychologically SPLITS the HURRICANE out of the overall reality (the transforming relational continuum) where we use GRAMMAR to notionally ANIMATE IT (attribute movement and development to it) as if it were a separate thing existing in its own right.   The existence of a HURRICANE is established by the question;  … IS THIS A HURRICANE OR NOT?  THIS IS BINARY LOGIC and we employ it to establish the LOCAL EXISTENCE OF ‘THINGS’, subsequent to which we can use GRAMMAR to DESCRIBE THE MOVEMENT, GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION as if “AUTHORED” by these LOCALLY EXISTING THINGS.

 

BINARY LOGIC is thus a TOOL for constructing REPRESENTATIONS of reality based on notional LOCAL THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES with GRAMMAR-given powers of AUTHORING actions and development.

 

BINARY LOGIC thus serves as the basis for ARCHITECTING a form of ARTICULABLE (EFFABLE) REPRESENTATION, a means of SHARING some sort of account of our sense experience of inclusion in the transforming relational continuum aka ‘our life experience’.  We call this SHARING TOOL “LANGUAGE”.
