THIS IS A WESTERN CULTURE “HABIT” of giving “MISTAKEN IMPRESSIONS” that we have “BUILT INTO OUR WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME using (as Nietzsche has pointed out) THE “DOUBLE ERROR” OF “NAMING AND GRAMMAR” which gives us the capability of INJECTING INTO OUR DISCOURSE, WHERE WE CHOOSE TO DO IT, … THE NOTION OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.    INSTEAD OF CAPTURING THE REALITY THAT ‘NATURES’S DYNAMICS (THE CHANGING TIDES) OPENED UP OPPORTUNITIES for us, for GATHERING OYSTERS, an INVITATION THAT PULLS US INTO ACTION FOLLOWING WHICH PEOPLE WITH “BEING” BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES “CAPTURE” in the ONE-SIDED (EGO-INFLATING) MISTAKEN TERMS OF OUR LOCAL AUTHORING (NOT TRUE) OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS wherein, so we say, WE COLLECTED OYSTERS.

The FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING OPPORTUNIZING ASPECT IS DROPPED OUT OF OUR WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION OF WHAT GOES ON, MAKING IT SEEM AS IF WHAT HAPPENED HERE WAS THE RESULT OF A MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING INITIATIVE. MEANWHILE, the “TEASE” that NATURE was giving by “PULLING UP HER SKIRT TO EXPOSE HER GOODS” is NOT EVEN MENTIONED in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, making it “SOUND” as if OUR MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING is the AUTHORING SOURCE of our OYSTER ACQUISITION.  This IMPOSES A PASSIVITY ON NATURE and a ONE-SIDED ACTION CAPABILITY to MAN, … the MAN who is NOT TALKING ABOUT HIS HAVING TO WAIT  ON NATURE UNTIL SHE WAS READY FOR THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTION.  Nature is innately ANDROGYNOUS and the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE is, under natural circumstances, ALWAYS THE INSPIRATION that sets the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING CONJUGATE in action.   NOTA BENE!  THESE CONJUGATES DO NOT EXIST SEPARATELY, they only occur in NATURE in their ANDROGYNOUS (CONJUGATE) FORM.  We know that INSPIRATION FILLS THE HEART while EGO SWELLS THE HEAD, so that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are MESSING THINGS UP when we ‘let EGO get split out of its ANDROGYNOUS conjugate relation with INSPIRATION’.   In indigenous aboriginal cultures, this DYSFUNCTIONAL SPLIT is what happens in WESTERN CULTURE THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE.  The SEPARATING OUT AND BANISHING OF THE FEMALE CONJUGATE is what happens in WESTERN CULTURE with the reduction of the CONJUGATE (which is not made of two separate parts) into two separate parts, accompanied by the DISCARDING OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate.   AI describes this ERROR as the source of EGO INFLATION and ANTHROPOCENTRISM as follows;

WHEN I GET INTO A CONVERSATION WITH ANOTHER WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT, and we start an energetic debate, … WE ARE NOT PAUSING TO QUESTION THE EXTENT TO WHICH OUR LANGUAGE IS CAPABLE or INCAPABLE OF CONVEYING THE COMPLEXITIES THAT WE ARE DEBATING, but we should (in order to resolve potential differences in basic understanding) be pausing to consider THE LIMITATIONS OF THE LANGUAGE WE ARE USING.  As Benjamin Whorf points out, the REALITY that we are understanding, thanks to our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TOOL, may NOT be THE SAME REALITY that those others are understanding based on the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME that they are using.  For example, we can see why indigenous aboriginals have developed RESTORATIVE JUSTICE while we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS have developed PUNITIVE (purificationist) JUSTICE and it is because in indigenous aboriginal culture, JUSTICE is RESTORATIVE because flow-based languages are more capable than BEING based languages in that flow is all about RELATIONS and is NOT ABOUT “MATERIAL BEINGS WITH NOTIONAL LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS”, and in a RELATIONAL REALITY, were material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including PLENUM, EVERYTHING IS RELATED (mitakuye oyasin) which is ALSO what Modern physics is saying; i.e. the condensations of the PLENUM are BOTH themselves, and at the same time, the PLENUM they share inclusion in, in which case EVERYTHING IS RELATED.

It is only the MISTAKEN NOTION that all material things are INDEPENDENT as with MATTER in EMPTY SPACE, that supports WESTERN CULTURE PUNITIVE, PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE wherein INDEPENDENCE is mistakenly seen as overriding INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE and sets the stage for the PURIFICATIONIST ACTIONS OF IDENTIFYING and REMOVING “BAD BEINGS” and REWARDING and PROLIFERATING GOOD BEINGS.  In WESTERN CULTURE this PURIFICATIONIST APPROACH TO JUSTICE is a solidly established tradition based on the MISTAKEN PREMISE OF BEING.   It is akin to ARISTOTLE’S ERROR: i.e. his assertion that women have fewer teeth than men which was accepted as scientific fact for roughly 2,000 years simply because ancient and medieval scholars rarely thought to question or verify his empirical claims.   So it is, also, with the WESTERN CULTURE PREMISE OF LOCAL AUTHORING.  Nietzsche checked it out and found it be in error, and ‘wrote it up’ as being “A DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR” and he mocked our society’s habit of not waking up to the fact that when we say “LIGHTNING FLASHED”, we are CREATING THE IMPRESSION OF LOCAL AUTHORING by language-based trickery (the DOUBLE ERROR).   In the last AI note shared here, it was pointed out that while the energy-charged PLENUM includes CONDENSATIONS where are interconnected and interdependent, substituting empty space for the PLENUM gives A HUGE BOOST TO EGO!

The Trade-off: What the Western Scheme Gains

While incomplete in a holistic sense, the Western linguistic scheme was optimized for a specific type of utility. By freezing the world into distinct, measurable, and predictable parts, it provided the conceptual infrastructure necessary for:<‘mark>

• • Formal Logic and Mathematics: The development of rigid, axiomatic systems (the very ones Gödel analyzed).
  • The Scientific Method: Isolating variables in a laboratory setting to study cause and effect.
  • Industrial Engineering: Designing complex machinery by treating components as interchangeable, discrete entities.

This ‘trade-off’ may be keeping WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS from upgrading to  GROUNDING IN FLOW rather than GROUNDING IN BEING, a move that otherwise looks like a “no-brainer”.

The Systems Sciences have already argued against our being held in ransom by BINARY LOGIC based, FRAGMENTED, MECHANISTIC THINKING because we are living in a FLOW-based world characterized by global interconnectedness and mutual interdependence.

What may be holding us back from this move from BEING to FLOWING has already been mentioned; i.e. included in the source of EGO-inflation is the “Severing of the Umbilical Cord: Denying the implicit container as the “mother” cuts the psychological anchor to the whole.  Without the grounding reality of a living, inclusive medium, the explicit ego inflates to fill the existential void.  It claims primary authorship over its existence, leading to anthropocentrism and hyper-individualism.”
