PREFACE: THE THREE LEVELS OF AWARENESS: Because we, ourselves, are INCLUSIONS  within the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM, Nature equips us with THREE LEVELS of AWARENESS (as described by Erich Jantsch).  WESTERN CULTURE has evolved a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME that common SUBSTITUTES for this THREE-WAY “NON-BINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM”, the TWO-WAY BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.  One way to think of these THREE LEVELS of AWARENESS and how we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS use LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to REDUCE the THREE LEVEL AWARENESS to TWO LEVEL AWARENESS is to think of HOW SOLAR IRRADIANCE (highest level 1) manifests in the Earth’s atmospheric dynamics.   While the FIELD of INVISIBLE SOLAR IRRADIANCE IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, it sitimulates TWO DIFFERENT types of VISIBLE BEHAVIOUR described in TERMS OF LOW PRESSURE ZONES (FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING INFLUENCES THAT PULL THINGS AROUND, and in terms of HIGH PRESSURE ZONES (MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING INFLUENCES that PUSH THINGS AROUND.    Our WESTERN CULTURE MISTAKE is that we become DIVIDED into BINARY LOGIC based OPPOSING GROUPS, a CONSERVATIVE GROUP that supports LEVEL 3 AWARENESS, where the understanding is in terms that the WAY TO GET THINGS MOVING IS TO GIVE THINGS A PUSH.  The SECOND, OPPOSING MEMBER OF THE BINARY LOGIC PAIR is the LIBERAL GROUP that supports LEVEL 2 AWARENESS that can be described by the understanding that the WAY TO GET THINGS MOVING IS TO SEDUCE or ENCOURAGE/INDUCE their active participation; i.e. a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING infuencing approach.

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, because WE HAVE BECOME SO PRE-OCCUPIED WITH THE DIVISION AND ARGUMENT OVER WITHER “WHETHER WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD IS THE RESULT OF MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING (the CONSERVATIVE OPINION) OR FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING (the LIBERAL OPINION), … LOST IN THE SHUFFLE IS THE LEVEL 1 AWARENESS OF THE NONLOCAL AND IMPLICIT INFLUENCE of ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMATION.

There is NO POINT in arguing over whether THE HURRICANE IS STIRRING UP THE ATMOSPHERE (the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING VIEW) of whether THE ATMOSPHERE IS STIRRING UP THE HURRIANE (the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING VIEW)… BECAUSE BOTH OF THOSE VIEWS ARE SECONDARY DEVELOPMENTS ARISING FROM THE PRIMARY AGENCY OF SOLAR IRRADIANCE WITH IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and non-reducible to something LOCAL and EXPLICIT and AMBIGUOUS which brings forth UNRESOLVABLE ARGUMENTS such as “DO CONTINENTS DRIFT OR DOES THE SEAFLOOR SPREAD”.  These TOO-SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC BASED OPPOSING PROPOSITIONS ARE THE RESULT OF USING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING BASED ON “BEING”.  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “BEING” IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM (the WORLD that we share inclusion in).

Where there is TRANSFORMATION, AUTHORING IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT rather than LOCAL and EXPLICIT

Once we introduce the ERROR OF BEING into our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, we have an ARTIFICIAL TOOL that supports LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING in terms of the LOCAL and EXPLICIT ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS of “BEINGS” which becomes the source of FRAGMENTATION in WESTERN CULTURE LANGUAGE AND THROUGHT.  This is why David Bohm, and Zen scholar Alan Watts and many others have pointed out that WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS need to UPGRADE our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME from our popular but TOO SIMPLE MATERIAL OBJECT BASED (BINARY LOGIC BASED) SCHEME to a LESS SIMPLE FLUID (PURELY RELATIONAL) SCHEME which employs only VERBS and avoids all dependency on NOUNS since NOUNS imply BEING.  (“BEING” serves as a foundation for UNREAL ABSTRACTIONS such as GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION, all of which imply BEING which OBSCURES the physical REALITY of TRANSFORMATION wherein, as Heraclitus affirmed, EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX.

This PREFACE is to REMIND THE READER that we have THREE LEVELS OF AWARENESS and that the HIGHEST LEVEL OF AWARENESS, LEVEL 1 AWARENESS, is the AWARENESS OF OUR INCLUSION IN THE ALL INCLUDING, CONTINUALLY TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, and that THIS HIGHEST LEVEL OF AWARENESS IS BLOCKED WHEN THE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME GIVES A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE TO “BEING”.  For example, “THE TOWN IS GROWING” gives a foundational role to BEING which is INCOMPATIBLE WITH the understanding that “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” wherein EVERYTHING IS IN INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT FLUX.  Our SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMS that we are included within a TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein “TOWNING IS A RELATIONAL FEATURE WITHIN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUUM” and there is NO SUCH THING AS A “TOWN” (THAT PURPORTEDLY GROWS AND DEVELOPS AS A “THING-IN-ITSELF”), and resides within a notional “ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE”.

THE RELATIONAL PLENUM TRANSFORMS, THERE ARE NO “THINGS-THAT-CHANGE”

When I wrote the essay below, that starts with the title Something to consider: THE WESTERN CULTURE REALITY SHELL-GAME, I was THINKING of how WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, such as Piaget, were being DEVIOUS in their PHILOSOPHIZING by (A) splitting things apart into their SCIENTIFIC and SPONTANEOUS “components” (explained in the original essay posted below) and then DROPPING OUT the SPONTANEOUS component. As Vygotaky pointed out, this was a screw-up BECAUSE the SCIENTIFIC and SPONTANEOUS only exist as CONJUGATES and “DO NOT EXIST AS TWO SEPARATE LOCAL and EXPLICIT COMPONENTS”. To use the wanton power of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to RE-CAST the male and female conjugates as TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ENTITIES is equivalent to RE-CASTING the male PEAK and female TROUGH of an ocean wave as TWO SEPARATE SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT ENTITIES, which was PIAGET’S ERROR that VYGOTSKY CRITIQUED.

I am going to RE-POST my essay entitled “THE WESTERN CULTURE REALITY SHELL-GAME” as I originally wrote it, BUT THIS TIME INSERTING THIS PRE-AMBLE THAT DESCRIBES HOW THE COMMON WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, which is BEING based, is DROPPING OUT ESSENTIAL INFORMATION THAT IS EQUIVALENT TO SPLITTING THE PEAK-AND-TROUGH WAVE-STRUCTURE INTO TWO SEPARATE PARTS (A PEAK …”AND” … A TROUGH) AND THEN SIMPLY “DROPPING OUT THE TROUGH”. HERE, LET ME REMIND THE READER THAT IN WAVE-REALITY, THE PEAK AND TROUGH ARE MUTUALLY SUPPORTING CONJUGATES WHICH “DO NOT EXIST IN THEIR OWN SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT RIGHT” in which case, while our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPARATUS CAN ENGINEER THE DROP OUT OF THE FEMALE COMPONENT AND PROCEED TO CONSTRUCT A NEW PSEUDO-REALITY BASED ON A ONE-SIDED FOUNDATION OF SOLELY MALE-ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING WITHOUT EVEN “MENTION” OF ITS INNATELY INCLUDED FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE. This WESTERN CULTURE MISTAKEN use of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to DROP OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (which is sometimes whisphered about in terms of ‘the DEA ABSCONDITA’ (Goddess in hiding) is a MISTAKE that NOW PERVADES WESTERN CULTURE EVERYDAY WRITING AND SPEECH.

Where we FORMERLY spoke in such terms as “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” where the TOWNING is the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugate and the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE that OPENS UP TO RECEIVE IT is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate. NOWADAYS, we are in the habit of simply stating “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” WITH NO MENTION OF THE HOW THE LANDSCAPE IS TRANSFORMING BY OPEN UP (SHRINKING ITS WILDERNESS AREA) TO ACCOMMODATING THE GROWTH OF THE TOWN. THUS THERE IS NO MENTION OF WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON WHICH IS THE OVERALL TRANSFORMATION OF THE LANDSCAPE AS THE WILDERNESS SHRINKS TO ACCOMMODATE THE GROWTH OF THE TOWN. WESTERN CULTURE ECONOMIC THINKING SEIZES ON THIS ERROR IN CREATING INVESTMENT SCHEMES THAT GIVE REWARDS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONJUGATE SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS, AND THUS WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING THAT WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IS “NOT GROWTH” BUT “TRANSFORMATION OF THE OVERALL LANDSCAPE” wherein WILDERNESS is being replaced by DEVELOPMENT (NEW CONSTRUCTION). In other words, what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING “IS NOT GROWTH OF THE TOWN”, … WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING IS TRANSFORMING OF THE OVERALL LANDSCAPE WHICH INCLUDED THE SHRINKING OF WILDRENESS. BUT WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING HAS EVOLVED IN A MANNER THAT DROPS OUT ALL MENTION OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS. WE’VE ALL SEEN THE DEVELOPER SALES HYPE promoting the sale of NEW CONDOS ETC., which comes without giving voice to the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS who have the following understanding;

This we know: The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth.  This we know, All things are connected like the blood which unites one family.  All things are connected.  Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth.  Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strannd in it.

MODERN PHYSICS has reaffirmed the understandings of indigenous aboriginals; i.e. we all share inclusion within an interconnecting and interdependent WEB-OF-LIFE, AN ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (Bohm’s description).

That’s why it MAKES SENSE to say THAT THERE ARE NO ‘THINGS THAT CHANGE’, there is only ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMATION, which is the message in the TITLE of the note; THE RELATIONAL PLENUM TRANSFORMS, THERE ARE NO “THINGS-THAT-CHANGE”

This means that WHEN WE DO HERE STATEMENTS AFFIRMING THAT THERE ARE TOWNS AND COUNTRIES, BEING BASED THINGS WITH THEIR OWN LOCAL POWERS OF “GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION”, WE ARE BE BEING SUCKED INTO BELIEVING IN A SYNTHETIC PSEUDO-REALITY FILLED WITH BEING-BASED OBJECTS THAT DOES NOT EXIST (“BEING” SUPPORTS UNREAL LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION THAT OBSCURES THE REALITY THAT WE DO SHARE INCLUSION IN, WHICH IS THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX as in Heraclitus’ philosophy.)

“DANCES WITH WOLVES” is exemplary of NAMING SCHEMES that convey understanding based on RELATIONS without having to rely on a REDUCTIONIST ANALYSIS which imputes BEING to relational forms by describing them on the basis of notional COMPONENT PARTS, rather than by the matrix of relations that support the BOOTSTRAPPING based understanding, as supported by Modern physics

 

[Geoffrey Chew]: “when you formulate a question, you have to have some basic concepts that you are accepting in order to formulate the question.  But in the bootstrap approach, where the whole system represents a network of relationships without any firm foundation, the description of subject can be begun at a great variety of different places.  There isn’t any clear starting point.  And the way our theory has developed in the last few years, we quite typically don’t know what questions to ask.  We use consistency as the guide, and each increase in the consistency suggests something that is incomplete, but it rarely takes the form of a well-defined question.  We are going beyond the whole question-and-answer framework’.

 

This understanding of the world as a complex matrix of relations WITHOUT ANY DEPENDENCY OF BEING BASED FOUNDATIONS is the understanding that is implicit in Chief Seatttle’s speech, wherein EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT SO THAT NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT RELATIONS ARE IN A NATURAL PRIMACY OVER LOCAL and EXPLICIT MATERIAL FORMS (that which is LOCAL and EXPLICIT is only SCHAUMKOMMEN [APPEARANCE]).

 

WHILE THIS INTRODUCTION MAKES THE CASE FOR THE NEED FOR A FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION SCHEME THAT AVOIDS DEPENDENCY ON “BEING”, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS REMAIN “STUCK” WITH BEING BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES SUCH AS THIS ONE I AM NOW USING.  WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SHARE UNDERSTANDINGS WITH THE READER IN A NON-BEING DEPENDENT LANGUAGE (SINCE WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS DO NOT HAVE ONE), THIS ESSAY USES THE COMBINATION of STANDARD BEING-BASED LANGUAGE together with FOLLOW-ON COMMENTARY ON THE ERRORS THAT “COME WITH” THE USE OF OUR STANDARD BEING-BASED LANGUAGE.

 

 

Something to consider: THE WESTERN CULTURE REALITY SHELL-GAME

 

When I check out the reasoning of David Bohm and F. David Peat, I am consistently in agreement and this means that my understanding of the world (reality) is AT ODDS with our WESTERN CULTURE everyday understanding.    This has been the case for a long time now, and it means that MY UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY DOES NOT MATCH UP with our STANDARD WESTERN CULTURE UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY.

 

So, one way to share with you MY UNDERSTANDING of REALITY is to share with you, for your possible interest HOW MY UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY MATCHES BOHM’S AS WELL AS INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS and how that UNDERSTANDING IS “AT ODDS WITH” THE COMMON UNDERSTANDING WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS “TEACH”.

The MAJOR DISAGREEMENT BETWEEN MY UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY AND THE COMMON WESTERN CULTURE UNDERSTANDING is describable in terms of how one thinks about JUSTICE where MODERN PHYSICS RESTORATIVE JUSTICE AGREES WITH INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL RESTORATIVE JUSTICE but DISAGREES WITH WESTERN CULTURE PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE.

 

The DIFFERENCE between RESTORATIVE JUSTICE and PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE DERIVES FROM HOW WE UNDERSTAND the STRUCTURE of PHYSICAL RELATIONS and in particular the ROLE OF THE LOCAL and EXPLICIT vis a vis the ROLE of the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

 

WESTERN CULTURE REALITY 1:   When we are in WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENT thinking mode, our understanding is that the STRUCTURE of REALITY is LOCAL and EXPLICIT and composed of MATERIAL OBJECTS SUCH AS “TOWNS that GROW, DEVELOP and PRODUCE goods” and which EXIST INDEPENDENTLY as if within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  This REALITY 1 is based on BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (EMPTY SPACE MEDIUM)

 

EASTERN & INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL REALITY 2:   When we are in EASTERN or indigenous aboriginal thinking mode, our understanding is that the STRUCTURE OF REALITY is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and composed of an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM within which there are CONDENSATIONS, which is in CONTINUAL TRANSFORMATIVE FLUX wherein EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT.   This REALITY 2 is based on NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (the energy-charged PLENUM medium).

 

In WESTERN CULTURE REALITY 1, there is BELIEF that we are MATERIAL BEINGS that move about and interact within AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  The belief is thus that WE ARE THE LOCAL AUTHORS OF OUR OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.

 

In EASTERN and INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL REALITY 2, there is BELIEF that we are INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as with STRANDS IN A WEB in which case WE ARE NOT THE LOCAL AUTHORS of our own ACTIONS, but more like DRIVERS IN A CROWDED FREEWAY (or strands in a web) where we co-cultivate and open up passageways so that our trajectories are NOT fully and solely determined by ourselves, because we are inductively influenced by the opening of ‘channels’; “TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON and TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE”.  We may wait for weeks before LOW TIDES open the way for us and facilitate our gathering of oysters.

 

Whether we acknowledge it in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING OR NOT, the world has a FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate aspect that inductively shapes our MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING movements; I.e. we may “SAY” that “WE FETCHED OYSTERS FROM NANOOSE BAY” as if it is fully and solely a MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING dynamic, … when in fact, our actions were inductively shaped by the opening of ocean (tidal) access to the oyster beds.

 

MY PHILOSOPHICAL INVESTIGATIONS BRING FORTH THE FACT THAT OUR WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, THE COMMON WAY WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS “SPEAK” and “WRITE” … “DROPS OUT AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE DYNAMICS WE ARE DESCRIBING”.   For example, WHILE WE SHARE INCLUSION IN SOMETHING GREATER THAN OURSELVES; FOR EXAMPLE, WE LIVE IN A WORLD OF RHYTHMS AND HARMONIES (that can become DISSONANCES) AS KEPLER REPORTED IN HIS MASTER WORK “HARMONIES OF THE WORLD”, ISAAC NEWTON POPULARIZED A “SIMPLIFIED AND THUS DISTORTED” LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME BASED SOLELY ON THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING CONJUGATE MAKING IT SOUND AS IF WE ARE THE FULL AND SOLE AUTHOR OF OUR ACTIONS: For example, Newton’s LAWS OF MOTION posit that everything remains stationary unless acted upon by some FORCE, … while to KEPER, and also MODERN PHYSICS, the world is a BUNDLE OF HARMONIOUS RELATIONAL DYNAMICS (punctuated by dissonances) which has been AFFIRMED BY MODERN PHYSICS which says that EVERYTHING IS IN TRANSFORMATIVE FLUX (as Heraclitus maintained), which is a REALITY that CANNOT BE CAPTURED BY LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION SCHEMES THAT GIVE A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE TO “BEING”.

 

BECAUSE OF THIS REALITY, WE NEED A LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT IS “FLOW-BASED”, WHEREIN THERE ARE NO DEPENDENCIES ON “FIXED BEING”, WHICH IS HOW THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, TAOISTS/BUDDHISTS and ADVAITA VEDANTA ADHERENTS HAVE APPROACHED THE DESIGN OF THEIR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING.  In Other words, WE NEED A “VERB-BASED LANGUAGE” as suggested by ZEN SCHOLAR ALAN WATTS and as developed by PHYSICISICIST DAVID BOHM (his RHEOMODE LANGUAGE), …AND, … as USED BY INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS whose understanding is “MITAKUYE OYASIN” (“EVERYTHING IS RELATED”, meaning INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as in “THE WEB OF LIFE”).

 

WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE NOT, AS THE AFOREMENTIONED OTHERS (INDIGENOUS ABORIGINALS, TAOIST/BUDDHIST ETC.) HAVE, IMPLEMENTED FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING which CONVEYS the UNDERSTANDING that EVERYTHING is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as in a FLUID DYNAMIC in which case ONE EMPLOYS CONSTRUCTS SUCH AS; “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” (WORDS that CAPTURE the REALITY wherein EVERYTHING IS IN TRANSFORMATIVE FLUX … WITHOUT DEPENDENCY on NAMING-INSTANTIATED MATERIAL-BEING based ENTITIES (which play a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE in WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS).

 

HERE WE “BUMP INTO” THE REASON WHY RUDYARD KIPLING WROTE: “EAST IS EAST AND WEST IS WEST AND NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET” because people who are using A FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME are CONCEIVING OF REALITY in a very different way that people who are using a BEING-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME.  For example, while the USERS of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES that incorporate the INTERCONNECTEDNESS and INTERDEPENDENCE OF ALL CONDENSATIONS IN THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM will naturally have a JUSTICE SYSTEM that is RESTORATIVE rather than PUNITIVE, … SINCE THE UNDERSTANDING IS THAT EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT IN THE MANNER OF STRANDS IN A WEB.   In RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, the MEMBERS OF A SOCIAL COLLECTIVE DO NOT POINT FINGERS AT ONE OTHER, THIS ONE ACCUSSING THAT ONE OF NASTY BEHAVIOUR, BECAUSE THE UNDERSTANDING IS, THAT LIKE STRANDS IN THE WEB WHEREIN EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT, … THERE IS NO WAY TO ISOLATE “THE LOCAL AUTHOR OF VIOLENCE” because “THERE IS NO LOCAL AUTHOR IN A STRANDS-IN-THE-WEB STRUCTURE”, there is only COLLECTIVE AUTHORING RESPONSIBILITY due to the fact that EVERYTHING (and everyone) is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT in the manner of STRANDS IN A WEB.  This is WHY JUSTICE MUST BE “RESTORATIVE” rather than PUNITIVE, since DYSFUNCTIONS such as THEFT, RAPE and MURDER arise from RELATIONAL DISSONANCE IN THE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE wherein everyone is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT since all ‘things’ are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.

WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE IS PURIFICATIONIST and this is based on the understanding that people are INDEPENDENT BEINGS notionally WITH THEIR OWN POWERS OF AUTHORING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, which differs from the INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL understanding wherein the dynamics of the social collective ARE INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT in which case, the SOCIAL COLLECTIVE AS A WHOLE BEARS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENERGENT DISSONANCE such as THIEVERY, RAPE and MURDER, which is why the REMEDY is RESTORATIVE rather than PUNITIVE, by way of the HEALING CIRCLE.   In this case the social collective addresses the ROOT CAUSE which is understood to be DISSONANCE co-generated by the social collective AND MANIFESTING BY THE VENTING OF VIOLENCE THROUGH ONE OF THE STRANDS IN THE WEB (WEB = SOCIAL COLLECTIVE).   As we know from the dynamics of STRANDS IN THE WEB, since the STRANDS are INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT, the MOTION OF A PARTICULAR STRAND is SOURCED by influences coming from the MANY STRANDS IN THE WEB.  In other words, the VIOLENCE of a particular STRAND IN THE WEB IS NOT LOCALLY AUTHORED BY THAT STRAND.  The STRAND manifesting VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR is the VENT for TENSIONS ACRUING THROUGHOUT THE WEB.  That is, the dynamics of a particular STRAND IN THE WEB are FED by contributions from the multiple STRANDS in the WEB rather than being the simple product of that STRAND.

 

WESTERN CULTURE REMAINS “IN DENIAL” THAT THIS STRAND-IN-THE-WEB RELATION IS OPERATIVE GENERALLY IN THE WORLD (as affirmed by Modern physics as well as by indigenous aboriginal understandings of reality).   THE REASON WHY WESTERN CULTURE IS “IN DENIAL” is because “EGO” feeds on the FALSE NOTION of LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS where we WESTERN CULTURE INDIVIDUALS PREFER TO THINK OF OURSELVES AS THE FULL AND SOLE AUTHORS OF OUR OWN ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS SO THAT WE WILL BE REWARDED AND RECOGNIZED ON THAT BASIS.   The indigenous aboriginal practice of acknowledging the INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENCE OF ALL THINGS IN NATURE; i.e. THE INTERCONNECTION AND INTERDEPENDENCE OF ALL CONDENSATIONS OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM is SUPPORTED BY MODERN PHYSICS, and it means that what is MISTAKENLY REGARDED AS LOCAL and EXPLICIT (as if situated within EMPTY SPACE) is IN REALITY belonging to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  In other words, as Schroedinger puts it, what appears to be LOCAL and EXPLICIT is only APPEARANCE (the CONDENSATIONS are secondary features within a NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT REALITY; i.e. the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM).

 

In order to CAPTURE IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, the REAL WORLD OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE which is NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM based, wherein material forms are CONDENSATIONS of the ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (and are thus interconnected and interdependent since they are CONDENSATIONS in the one, all-including energy-charged PLENUM)….we need LANGUAGE that gives a foundational role to NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM.

 

IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS, WE HAVE TO REMOVE THE TOO-SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM (EMPTY SPACE MEDIUM) that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE DEPLOYED EVERYWHERE,… TO ENABLE US TO “UPGRADE” TO THE USE OF NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM (the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM WITHIN WHICH THERE ARE CONDENSATIONS THAT, WHILE ONLY “APPEARANCE” WE ARE MISTAKING AS LOCAL, EXPLICIT THINGS-IN-THEMSELVES, NOTIONALLY SITUATED WITHIN ABSOLUTE EMPTY SPACE.

 

Our need to CHANGE HORSES IN MIDSTREAM HAS PRESENTED US WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS WITH A CHALLENGE THAT WE HAVE NOT YET MASTERED.  It is NO EASY TASK TO “LET GO OF” our knee-jerk habit of DIVIDING THINGS UP WITH THE BINARY LOGIC of “EITHER GOOD OR BAD” and instead use NONBINARY relational conceptualizing based on RESONANCE and DISSONANCE.   When we understand ‘forms’ as ‘condensations of, and within’ an energy-charged PLENUM, EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT because ‘it’ is “BOTH” itself “AND” the containing PLENUM it is included in.  This requires a LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME that is capable of NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM which supports the situation where the CONDENSATION is “BOTH” itself “AND” the MEDIUM it is included in.

 

THIS IS A TOUGH PILL TO SWALLOW FOR US WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS WHO TEND TO CELEBRATE OUR NOTIONAL ‘INDEPENDENCE”.  This is very different from INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL UNDERSTANDING and PRACTICE where THE WHOLE COMMUNITY GATHERS IN HEALING CIRCLES TO RESOLVE RELATIONAL DISSONANCE WHICH IS UNDERSTOOD AS HAVING A NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT SOURCING ORIGIN based on A STRANDS-IN-THE-WEB SOURCE-AMBIGUATING STRUCTURE.  This differs radically from the WESTERN CULTURE NOTION OF THE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT ORIGIN OF EVENTS, understood to be COMING FROM THE ACTIONS OF NOTIONAL ‘INDEPENDENT BEINGS” OPERATING IN A NOTIONAL “ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITES SPACE”.   This WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION SCHEME IS NOT ONLY FRAGMENTATIVE but IS ALSO OBSCURANTIST since it (A); USES NAMING TO IMPUTE “LOCAL BEING” TO CONDENSATIONS OF THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, which BREAKS THE CONDENSATIONS OUT OF THEIR INTERCONNECTION AND INTERDEPENDENCE WITHIN THE PLENUM, and (B) USES GRAMMAR TO IMPUTE LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS TO THE NAMING-INSTANTIATED “LOCAL BEINGS” giving the impression that ACTIONS are INITIATED by “LOCAL BEINGS” which leads to “SCAPE-GOATING OF THE IDENTIFIED PATIENT”.   In WESTERN CULTURE PSYCHIATRY, the DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY, which uses the WESTERN CULTURE STANDARD BELIEF in LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments, IGNORES THE GREATER REALITY OF THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (RELATIONAL) ORIGIN of FAMILY DYSFUNCTION, SINCE WESTERN CULTURE EGO DEMANDS BELIEF IN “LOCAL AUTHORING” of all actions and developments which SUPPORTS REWARDS AND RECOGNITION GIVING as well as PUNISHMENT and DENIGRATION.

 

IN ORDER TO MOVE TO LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, ONE HAS TO “LET GO OF” THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS HAVE GIVEN TO SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXLUDED (EMPTY SPACE) MEDIUM.

HOW ARE WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS DOING SO FAR, IN THIS REGARD?  IS OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING “KEEPING UP WITH” HOW WE ARE MESSING AROUND WITH THE ALL-INCLUDING UNFOLDING OF THE RELATIONAL CONTINUUM?  AFTER ALL, “OUR ACTIONS” SUCH AS CONSTRUCTING TOWNS “DO NOT HAPPEN IN A VACUUM”.  WE ARE INCLUDED WITHIN AN ALL-INCLUDING CONTINUALLY TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM which is IMPACTED by our ACTIONS but since we are INCLUDED WITHIN IT, while we CAN BE AWARE OF OUR INFLUENCING OF ITS CONTINUING TRANSFORMATIVE DEVELOPMENT, we cannot GET OUTSIDE OF IT TO SEE IT WITH OURSELVES INCLUDED WITHIN IN.  We become ADDICTED to thinking that THINGS EXIST IN THEIR OWN RIGHT by our practice of LOOKING AT THE VARIOUS FRAGMENTS OF A “WORLD OUT THERE” that we capture with WORDS based on how things APPEAR in our VOYEUR VIEWING.

 

A PICTURE HELD US CAPTIVE.  AND WE COULD NOT GET OUTSIDE OF IT, FOR IT LAY IN OUR LANGUAGE AND LANGUAGE SEEMED TO REPEAT IT TO US INEXORABLY —WITTGENSTEIN.

 

THE TOWN THAT IS GROWING … IS SOMETHING WE CAN “PICTURE” THAT DOES NOT EXIST in the real world of our INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein TOWNING is a dynamic feature of the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM that we share including in.  As Bohm puts it; Space is not empty.  It is full, a plenum as opposed to a vacuum, and is the ground for the existence of everything, including ourselves.”

 

IN the REAL WORLD where we are CONDENSATIONS of the all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, everything is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as with STRANDS IN A WEB so that EVENTS THAT APPEAR TO BE LOCAL AND EXPLICIT are ONLY APPEARANCE (SCHAUMKOMMEN) while the REAL DYNAMIC of TRANSFORMATION is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational).   JUSTICE MUST, IN THIS CASE, BE RESTORATIVE rather than PUNITIVE because the origin of what is unfolding is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

 

So, HOW MANY OF OUR COMMUNITIES ARE GETTING RID OF WESTERN CULTURE PUNITIVE JUSTICE WHICH MISTAKENLY SCAPE-GOATS INDIVIDUALS FOR DYSFUNCTION GENERATED BY THE SOCIAL COLLECTIVE, AND ARE SWITCHING TO RESTORATIVE JUSTICE which acknowledges the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) ORIGIN OF CONFLICT AS CONVEYED BY THE DYNAMICS OF STRANDS IN A WEB?

 

WHAT’S THAT? WE CAN’T DO AWAY WITH PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE BECAUSE THE MISTAKE OF “LOCAL AUTHORING” WHICH IT IS BASED ON, IS FOUNDATIONAL TO OUR WESTERN CULTURE REWARDS and RECOGNITION, and PUNISHMENTS and DENIGRATION SCHEMES!   ELON MUSK SAYS NO TO THE NEEDED ELIMINATING OF THE MISTAKEN NOTION OF LOCAL AUTHORING! (we keep rewarding him with billions while he persists is CONTAMINATING our atmosphere with ROCKET EXHAUST and SPACE JUNK, AND DOES SO WITH IMPUNITY.  ON THE CONTRARY, he is CELEBRATED for his ATMOSPHERE CONTAMINATING “ACHIEVEMENTS”).

 

REPEAT AFTER ME:  WESTERN CULTURE IS MISTAKEN IN FORMULATING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS THAT PRESENT ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS AS IF THEY WERE “REAL”.

 

NO!, THEY ARE NOT “REAL” because THEY DROP OUT MENTION OF THEIR FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE ASPECTS THAT ARE EVER-PRESENT; i.e. THERE CAN BE NO MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING ACTIONS WITHOUT FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE INFLUENCE.  There is NO GROWTH OF THE TOWN without SHRINKING of the WILDERNESS, SO WHY DON’T WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS SAY SO?

 

We are speaking of FLOW-BASED STRUCTURE HERE.  The WAVE of NEW CONSTRUCTION is only the LOCAL and EXPLICIT aspect which occurs together with the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT consumption of materials, these two conjugates together constituting TRANSFORMATION of the landscape.   THE REALITY IS THAT THE LANDSCAPE IS UNDERGOING TRANSFORMATION which involves GROWTH of TOWNS and SHRINKING of WILDERNESS, … AND “GROWTH” HAS NO REALITY ON ITS OWN! AND NEITHER DOES “SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS” HAVE REALITY ON ITS OWN because “GROWTH of TOWNS” and “SHRINKING OF WILDERNESS” are only visual snapshots of the WAVE-CREST that ‘expands’ and ‘pushes forth’ and the WAVE-TROUGH that ‘diminishes’ and ‘sucks under’.   Of course, these are NOT TWO SEPARATE PHENOMENA so we cannot SPEAK OF THEM OR UNDERSTAND THEM ON THEIR OWN, as WESTERN CULTURE MISTAKENLY DOES.

 

For example, Vygotsky picks up on the fact that while we speak in such terms in children’s learning such as SPONTANEOUS learning and SCIENTIFIC learning, such concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation” .    (the peak and the trough’) which means that WE CAN’T KEEP ONE PART AND THROW THE OTHER PART OUT because THERE IS ONLY ONE COMPLEX THING WITH A CONJUGATE ASPECT.   In other words, the “SCIENTIFIC” (the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING) DOES NOT EXIST WITHOUT ITS CONJUGATE “SPONTANEOUS”  (the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING) in which case we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE CREATING AN ABSTRACTION AND INFUSING IT INTO OUR CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION, as VYGOTSKY IS DESCRIBING IN HIS CRITIQUE OF PIAGET’S SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR INFUSING THIS MISTAKE INTO THE MINDS OF OUR WESTERN CULTURE CHILDREN IN OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM:

 

In this statement, Vygotsky notes that concept formation has wave-like structure which in his terms means that is has conjugate SCIENTIFIC and SPONTANEOUS components;

 

“Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous  [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation” –Vygotsky      implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

 

Next, Vygotsky CRITIQUES PIAGET for making a DOUBLE ERROR of (A) splitting the SPONTANEOUS and SCIENTIFIC INTO TWO SEPARATE PIECES and (B) CHUCKING OUT THE SPONTANEOUS BECAUSE IT COMPLICATES THINGS FOR THE KIDS.  This is a DOUBLE ERROR because (A) SPONTANEOUS and SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTUALIZING are conjugate aspects of a single COMPLEX PROCESS (that doesn’t split into two separate pieces), and (B) it makes no sense to TOSS OUT half of a whole that does not split in half.

He assumes that development and instruction are entirely separate, incommensurate processes, that the function of instruction is merely to introduce adult ways of thinking, which conflict with the child’s own and eventually supplant them. VYGOTSKY is telling us that PIAGET is simplifying the language being taught in WESTERN CULTURE SCHOOLS to make it easier for the kids learn, WHICH GARNERS ITS SIMPLIFICATION BY DROPPING OUT ESSENTIAL MEANING.   This tactic of teaching simplified descriptions of complex phenomena as an expedient to give the student the general gist of the thing.

 

As regards the academies, they are established in order to regulate the studies of the pupils and are concerned not to have the program of teaching change very often: in such places, because it is a question of the progress of the students, it frequently happens that the things which have to be chosen are not those which are most true but those which are most easy. And by that division in things which makes different people form different judgements, it so happens that certain people are in error contrary to their own opinion.” – Johannes Kepler, ‘Harmonies of the World’

 

For example, the wave-field understanding is that there is a combined (conjugate) PUSHING and SUCKING and there is NO PUSHING ON ITS OWN and no SUCKING ON ITS OWN but PIAGET found that TEACHING WAS MADE EASIER by TEACHING “PUSHING” AS IF IT EXISTED ON ITS OWN (by simple DROPPING OUT MENTION of the conjugate SUCKING). In this manner, WESTERN CULTURE children can learn about GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION as if these are REAL ACTIONS IN THEIR OWN RIGHT when the REALITY IS that they are innately INCOMPLETE and in actuality, GROWTH comes together with SHRINKING of WILDERNESS and DEVELOPMENT is happening together with DECAY and COLLAPSE, … and CONSUMPTION is happening along with PRODUCTION.    WESTERN CULTURE IS CURRENTLY ‘IN TROUBLE’ by COMPETING and ACCELERATING GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION as if these one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING actions were REAL while IGNORING THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING conjugate (letting it flap like a loose sheet in the breeze) and thus LETTING the REAL PHENOMENON of TRANSFORMATION that we all share INCLUSION IN, FLAP LIKE A LOOSE SHEET IN THE BREEZE while we FOCUS ON the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING conjugates of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION.

 

BUT GUESS WHAT!   THE PHENOMENON OF TRANSFORMATION IS THE REAL REALITY and WE ARE INCLUDED WITHIN IT AND OUR ACTIONS ARE NOT REALLY THE ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING actions of authoring GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION, that is just “APPEARANCE” while WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON is TRANSFORMATION that we and everything share inclusion in.

… but WHEN WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS EMPLOY, IN OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM, the DUMBING-DOWN METHOD of PIAGET where we (A) MISCONCEIVE the WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE of REALITY as consisting of TWO SEPARATE PARTS (not CONJUGATE but SEPARATE) and then PRESUME that we can SPLIT THE CONJUGATES APART and (B) “GO WITH” the “SCIENTIFIC” part “AS IF IT EXISTED ON ITS OWN” while DROPPING OUT the “SPONTANEOUS” conjugate as if the “SCIENTIFIC” part had STAND-ALONE MEANING.  THIS IS THE COMMON WESTERN CULTURE PRACTICE AND IN DOING THIS DROP OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (which is the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM) WE SUBSTITUTE ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE in which case we have to RELOCATE THE SOURCE OF THE AUTHORING AGENCY.  Instead of acknowledging the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM AS THE SOURCE OF AUTHORING AGENCY, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS GIVE ACTION-AUTHORING CREDIT TO THE LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONDENSATION.

 

This means that WHILE IN REALITY, the SOURCE OF THE ENERGIZING ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS IS NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (IT IS COMING FROM THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM),  THAT UNDERSTANDING “NO LONGER MAKES SENSE” WHEN WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS SUBSTITUTE ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE FOR THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  THE MATERIAL CONDENSATION, which WAS UNDERSTOOD AS SECONDARY TO THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM, NOW THAT THE PLENUM IS RECONCEIVED OF AS EMPTY SPACE, IS SEEN AS A LOCAL, EXPLICIT AUTHOR OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT.

 

This imputing of LOCAL AUTHORING AGENCY TO LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL FORMS was what Schroedinger referred to as SCHAUMKOMMEN (APPEARANCE).

 

This is what happens when we use the concepts of GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION, which are only male asserting/actualizing CONJUGATES that HAVE NO VALID MEANING “ON THEIR OWN” because they ONLY EXIST IN CONJUGATE RELATION WITH THEIR FEMALE ACCOMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATES.  That is, there is no GROWTH of development without conjugate SHRINKING of wilderness, no DEVELOPMENT of new structures without conjugate AGING of previously developed structures and there is no PRODUCTION of goods without CONSUMPTION of previously produced goods.

 

LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS FEATURING GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION may be “LOGICALLY TRUE”, but as Goedel’s Theorem proves, ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS ARE INCOMPLETE (e.g. there cannot be GROWTH of a TOWN without conjugate SHRINKING of WILDERNESS) etc. etc.

The READER may be thinking that he is being asked to make a judgement on subject matter that is too COMPLEX for people who haven’t done intensive study of the topics involved, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT IS REQUIRED HERE.  What is required is simply to reflect on whether this essay is pointing to a situation wherein we are among those people who are in error contrary to their own opinion.”

 

Vygotsky is claiming that PIAGET is making a mistake (a DOUBLE ERROR) by (A) splitting into two separate parts, the SCIENTIFIC concepts and the SPONTANEOUS concepts and then TOSSING OUT the SPONTANEOUS and (B) ‘going with’ the SCIENTIFIC ON ITS OWN.  Vygotsky’s point is that the SCIENTIFIC and the SPONTANEOUS “DO NOT SPLIT INTO SEPARATE PARTS” because they are CONJUGATE and like the PEAK-TROUGH in wave-flow, we cannot limit our investigation to WHAT PEAKS DO because peaks are LOCAL and EXPLICIT and easier to study than TROUGHS which are NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, but as Vygotsky points out, THAT IS WHAT PIAGET IS DOING, in his design of CHILDREN’S EDUCATION.  Here is the IMPORTANT POINT, taken from Vygotsky’s “THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE”;

 

 

“We believe that the two processes —the development of spontaneous and of nonspontaneous concepts — are related and constantly influence one another.  They are parts of a single process:  the development of concept formation, which is affected by varying external and internal conditions but is essentially a unitary process, not a conflict of antagonistic, mutually exclusive forms of thinking.   Instruction is one of the principal sources of the schoolchild’s concepts and is also a powerful force in directing their evolution.  It determines the fate of his total mental development.  If so, the results of the psychological study of children’s concepts can be applied to the problems of teaching in a manner very different from that envisioned by Piaget.    — Vygotsky; p. 157  “Thought and Language”.

 

“Our disagreement with Piaget centers on one point only, but an important point. He assumes that development and instruction are entirely separate, incommensurate processes, that the function of instruction is merely to introduce adult ways of thinking, which conflict with the child’s own and eventually supplant them. Such a supposition stems from the old psychological tradition of separating the structural from the functional aspects of development.” –Vygotsky; p. 206

 

Considered together with Vygotsky’s following remark, it is evident that Vygotsky sees the scientific and spontaneous as CONJUGATE aspects of CONCEPT FORMATION, in which case, IT MAKES NO SENSE TO STUDY OR CONSIDER THEM SEPARATELY since they are “two sides of the same concept”;

 

“Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous  [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation” –Vygotsky      implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

VYGOTSKY IS MAKING AN IMPORTANT POINT HERE THAT WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS, IN GENERAL, HAVE NOT “PICKED UP ON” BECAUSE WE HAVE FOLLOWED THE LEAD OF PIAGET WHERE WE SPELL OUT THE TWO PARTS OF WAVE PEAK-TROUGH CONJUGATE (which is “JANUS-FACED” STRUCTURE where the SCIENTIFIC and the SPONTANEOUS constitute two sides of the same concept formation  AND then we employ LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that SPLITS THEM INTO TWO SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ENTITIES, AT WHICH POINT, WE DROP OUT SPONTANEOUS and GO WITH THE SCIENTIFIC.   THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE BECAUSE THE SCIENTIFIC AND THE SPONTENOUS “ONLY EXIST IN CONJUGATE FORM WHICH IS SUPPORTED “NOT BY SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM”, … BUT BY “BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM”.

 

THIS SIMPLIFYING REDUCTION FROM THE BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM TO THE EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM CONSTITUTES A REDUCTION FROM THE WAVE-DYNAMIC TO THE MECHANICAL DYNAMIC.  This REDUCTIVE SIMPLIFICATION CONSTITUTED BY USING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING THAT SPLITS APART THE SPONTANEOUS AND SCIENTIFIC AND THEN “DROPS OUT” the SPONTANEOUS, taking us from NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM based expressions like “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” to BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (empty containing space) expressions like “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods”.   NOTICE THAT THERE IS NO LONGER ANY MENTION OF THE TOWN BEING AN INCLUDED FEATURE WITHIN THE ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE.  IN OTHER WORDS, WE HAVE DROPPED OUT MENTION OF THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) CONTAINER constituted by the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM AND RETAINED ONLY THE LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONTENT constituted by the CONDENSATION within the PLENUM.  “GOODBYE ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED CONTAINING PLENUM, … HELLO ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE CONTAINING SPACE”.

WHAT WE ARE SAYING HERE, IS THAT WESTERN CULTURE drops out the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT which is PRIMARY REALITY (it is the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM in which material forms are only CONDENSATIONS of the PLENUM, that WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING REDUCES AND RE-CASTS AS “LOCAL AND EXPLICIT” OBJECTS IN A NOTIONAL ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  NOTE THAT MODERN PHYSICS SUPPORTS THE INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL UNDERSTANDING WHEREIN MATERIAL FORMS ARE LIKE STRANDS IN A WEB, WHERE EVERYTHING (the multiplicity of CONDENSATIONS) IS INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT.  The interconnected and interdependent collection of CONDENSATIONS in the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM has a STRANDS IN THE WEB structure which requires descriptive LOGIC that is LESS SIMPLE than THE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM wherein there is EITHER material objects OR empty space.   In the MODERN PHYSICS and INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM, there is BOTH condensation AND energy-charged PLENUM, which supports CHANGE BY WAY OF TRANSAFORMATION, rather than MECHANICAL INTERACTIONS OF BEING-BASED OBJECTS.

 

VERY DIFFERENT WORLD VIEWS ARISE FROM THESE VERY DIFFERENT (NONBINARY BOTH/AND … AND BINARY EITHER/OR) LOGICAL CONCEPTUALIZATIONS OF REALITY, GIVING MEANING TO KIPLING’S OBSERVATION THAT; “EAST IS EAST AND WEST IS WEST AND NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET”

 

The NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM understanding of REALITY featuring CONDENSATIONS in an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM wherein everything is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT in the manner of STRANDS IN A WEB, …. DIFFERS FUNDAMENTALLY from the WESTERN CULTURE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM as exemplified by material objects in empty space.   Since everything is interconnected and interdependent in the NONBINARY LOGIC based world, the system of JUSTICE is RESTORATIVE since THERE IS NO INDEPENDENT LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS and whatever unfolds, unfolds from the interconnecting and interdependent relational matrix or ‘WEB-OF-LIFE. 

 

CONTRASTINGLY, the WESTERN CULTURE BELIEF in a much SIMPLER BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC based understanding of REALITY ‘would have it that’ there are LOCAL, EXPLICIT, INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEINGS operating in (and effectively INSULATED FROM ONE ANOTHER BY) EMPTY SPACE such that the AUTHORSHIP OF ACTIONS of an INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEING are FULLY AND SOLELY ATTRIBUTABLE TO THAT INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEING.  This SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC BASED understanding of REALITY gives rise to PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE SYSTEMS where the “PURPORTEDLY INDEPENDENT AUTHOR of a VIOLENT or INJURIOUS ACTION” can be readily identified (there is no understanding of an interconnecting and interdependent relation web here) and that person incarcerated or executed.  This SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC BASED understanding of REALITY LIKEWISE gives rise to a HIERARCHICAL REWARDS and RECOGNITION SYSTEM where the “PURPORTEDLY INDEPENDENT AUTHORS of CONSTRUCTIVE, BENEFICIAL ACTIONS” become the recipients of REWARDS and RECOGNITION.  Over time, this leads to a hierarchically layered social structure characteristic of WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES. 

 

NOTE THAT THIS WESTERN CULTURE SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC based REWARDS AND PUNISHMENT SCHEME DOES NOT WORK IN INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURES DUE TO THE UNDERSTANDING IMPLIED BY “MITAKUYE OYASIN” (EVERYTHING IS RELATED [interconnected and interdependent]) which calls for HEALING CIRCLES where there are OUTBURSTS OF VIOLENCE where THERE IS NO SCAPE-GOATING OF INDIVIDUALS as in WESTERN CULTURE, but where, instead, the whole community comes together in the HEALING CIRCLES to ‘pass the talking stick’ where one ‘speaks from the heart’ (and not from the head, which can lead to finger-pointing, accusations and purificationist eliminating of purported LOCAL AUTHORS of problematic behaviours that are assumed to derive FROM THE INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL rather than from the interconnected and interdependent social collective).

In modern physics, we have to find a way to describe things purely in relational terms because that is where the PRIMARY UNDERSTANDING LIES; i.e. in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) since the LOCAL and EXPLICIT is ONLY APPEARANCE (SCHAUMKOMMEN).

 

The reduction to the LOCAL AND EXPLICIT actually OBSCURES the primary reality which is the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.  The NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT is the source of interconnection and interdependence wherein everything is related as in this affirmation of Chief Seattle; Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” 

 

As Neuroscientist Iain McGilchrist points out, we have infused into our thinking (our linguistic conceptualizing scheme) “A WAY OF THINKING THAT IS REDUCTIVE, MECHANISTIC AND HAS TAKEN US OVER, … THAT TREATS THE WORLD AS A SIMPLE RESOURCE TO BE EXPLOITED, THAT’S MADE US ENORMOUSLY POWERFUL, ITS ENABLED US TO BECOME WEALTHY, BUT IT’S ALSO MEANT THAT WE’VE LOST THE MEANS TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD.

My point is that the REAL STUFF is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT and DOES NOT REDUCE TO LOCAL EXPLICIT REPRESENTATION.  Thus a method of communicating or describing must be used which does not WIMP OUT in the LOCAL and EXPLICIT, it must avoid that in order to elicit in the observer, that which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT, (e.g. the wave-field) which is the source of INTERCONNECTION and INTERDEPENDENT.

-1- USE OF TOO-SIMPLE BINARY LOGIC:  WE ARE SCREWING UP OUR UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY BY GIVING A FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN OUR WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO “TOO SIMPLE” BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM.  An example of NON-SCREWED UP LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING is “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE”.  In this example, we are using as OUR BASE CASE, the LESS SIMPLE BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM; i.e. the TOWNING in the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE is like a WHORLING in the FLOWING wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX (as Heraclitus affirms).   AND THEN WE ARE POINTING OUT THAT OUR COMMON WESTERN CULTURE USE OF SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM is “TOO SIMPLE” and CANNOT CAPTURE, IN ITS LIMITED, SIMPLE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, THE BASICS OF OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY.  e.g. the REALITY that TOWNING is INCLUDED WITHIN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE which means that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A “TOWN THAT IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” wherein we are using LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING to portray “THE TOWN” as a LOCAL, EXPLICIT THING-IN-ITSELF, notionally with “ITS OWN” (GRAMMAR-GIVEN) POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING ITS OWN GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT.

 

-2- WE WRONGLY SPEAKS OF OURSELVES AS SEPARATE FROM THE WORLD:   In the earlier example where Vygotsky is critiquing (and rightfully so) PIAGET, Vygotsky is exposing the COMMON WESTERN CULTURE SCREW-UP wherein, in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME,  As Neuroscientist Iain McGilchrist points out, we have infused into our thinking (our linguistic conceptualizing scheme) “A WAY OF THINKING THAT IS REDUCTIVE, MECHANISTIC AND HAS TAKEN US OVER, … THAT TREATS THE WORLD AS A SIMPLE RESOURCE TO BE EXPLOITED, THAT’S MADE US ENORMOUSLY POWERFUL, ITS ENABLED US TO BECOME WEALTHY, BUT IT’S ALSO MEANT THAT WE’VE LOST THE MEANS TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD.

 

As in indigenous aboriginal culture understanding, WE CAN’T RIGHTLY SPEAK IN TERMS OF …. “OUR ABILITY TO CONSTRUCT AND GROW THE SIZE AND COMPLEXITY OF THE TOWN” because THERE IS NO “TOWN” thing-in-itself, there is only “TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” where the only sense-experience affirmable REALITY is where everything is in transformative flux AND WE OURSELVES ARE INCLUDED WITHIN that TRANSFORMING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM; i.e. in Bohm’s words; Space is not empty.  It is full, a plenum as opposed to a vacuum, and is the ground for the existence of everything, including ourselves.” IT IS ONLY OUR WESTERN CULTURE “BEING” based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT SUPPORTS CONCEPTUALIZING OURSELVES AS SEPARATE and INDEPENDENT MATERIAL BEINGS THAT MOVE ABOUT AND INTERACT WITHIN A NOTIONAL ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE.  As Nietzsche points out, we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are using the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR to notionally (FALSELY) SPLIT OURSELVES OUT AS INDEPENDENT BEINGS WITH (PURPORTEDLY) OUR OWN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING OF ACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS.  BUT OUR SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY INFORMS US THAT WE ARE CONDENSATIONS, INCLUSIONS IN AN ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM which is full, a plenum as opposed to a vacuum, and is the ground for the existence of everything, including ourselves.”  And let’s not forget that everything in the PLENUM, being condensations of the PLENUM is interconnected and interdependent; i.e. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” 

 

-3- WE WRONGLY ADVOCATE THE EXPLOITATION OF THE WORLD (AS IF IT WERE SEPARATE FROM OURSELVES):  In the above TWO POINTS, we express the views that “THE EARTH IS NOT A SIMPLE RESOURCE TO BE EXPLOITED” and that WE ARE INCLUDED WITHIN AN ALL-INCLUDING ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  These views are supported by MODERN PHYSICS and by indigenous aboriginal cultures, Taoists/Buddhists, and Advaita Vedanta adherents.  They affirm the appropriateness of RESTORATIVE JUSTICE rather than PURIFICATIONIST JUSTICE.  This is based on the STRAND-IN-THE-WEB understanding wherein all STRANDS-IN-THE-WEB are innately INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT.

 

–4- WE WRONGLY SUPPORT REWARDS AND RECOGNITION SCHEMES, … AND … PUNISHMENT AND DENIGRATION SCHEMES, ON THE FALSE BASIS OF “LOCAL AUTHORING”.  (THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “LOCAL AUTHORING” SINCE WE LIVE WITHIN A WORLD OF INTERCONNECTIONS AND INTERDEPENDENCIES.)

 

-5- WE WRONGLY ATTEMPT TO SUBOPTIMIZE THE OPERATIONS OF NATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT WE HAVE “DECLARED” TO BE INDEPENDENT BUT WHICH ARE, IN REALITY, INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT (as capturable with NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM but NOT capturable with SIMPLEBINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM (purported empty space medium that is locally populated with MATERIAL BEING based OBJECTS).

CONCLUSION:

 

WHY “THE SHELL GAME” IN THE TITLE?

 

WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING IS FACED WITH THE CHALLENGE OF CONVEYING IMPRESSIONS OF A WORLD THAT IS IN CONTINUING TRANSFORMATIVE FLUX WHICH CALLS FOR A VERB-BASED CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME, as employed in indigenous aboriginal cultures.  This has been pointed out by David Bohm, in the following;

 

What is needed, Bohm argued in his book Wholeness and the Implicate Order, is a new sort of language, one based on processes and activity, transformation and change, rather than on the interactions of stable objects. Bohm called this hypothetical language the “rheomode.” It is based primarily on verbs and on grammatical structures deriving from verbs. Such a language, Bohm argued, is perfectly adapted to a reality of enfolding and unfolding matter and thought.

 

David Bohm had not known when he wrote of that concept that such a language is not just a physicist’s hypothesis. It actually exists. The language of the Algonquin peoples was developed by the ancestors specifically to deal with subtle matters of reality, society, thought, and spirituality.

 

A few months before his death, Bohm met with a number of Algonkian speakers and was struck by the perfect bridge between their language and worldview and his own exploratory philosophy. What to Bohm had been major breakthroughs in human thought — quantum theory, relativity, his implicate order and rheomode – were part of the everyday life and speech of the Blackfoot, Mic Maq, Cree and Ojibwaj.”

WHILE this verb-based (fluid) LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH has been the approach of indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents, WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS developed a BEING-based LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH so that INSTEAD of rolling out phrases wherein everything is in flux such as “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” and the transformative energizing is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.  In WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING, the energizing is LOCAL and EXPLICIT because it is based on belief in the existence of MATERIAL BEING based ENTITIES with THEIR OWN POWERS OF LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and developments as for example “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods”.

 

This WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING APPROACH ‘DROPS OUT THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE (e.g. the TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE) and LIMITS the CONCEPTUALIZING TO ONE SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING… “AS IF WITHIN AN ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE” as in the example “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods”.

 

Because of the DROP OUT of the overall containing landscape, there have been references to THE DEA ABSCONDITA (Goddess in hiding).  The term GODDESS is used because we are not simply talking about the LOSS OF A “PART”, we are talking about “the LOSS of the AUTHORING SOURCE” which, as we know from MODERN PHYSICS and from the indigenous aboriginal STRANDS-IN-THE-WEB metaphor, IS THE NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) ENERGY-FIELD ASPECT, the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM within which the LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONDENSATION is a SECONDARY FEATURE.

 

IN ALL ENTIRIES IN THE LIST OF THE 5 IMPORTANT TAKE-AWAYS FROM THIS ANALYSIS, there is a CONSISTENT REFERENCE to the LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING BASED DUMBING DOWN from NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM to BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.

 

THIS IS THE CORE FINDING OF THIS PHILOSOPHICAL INVESTIGATION ENTITLED “THE WESTERN CULTURE REALITY SHELL-GAME”

 

In this choice of TITLE, I am referring to our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME which KEEPS MAKING THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE “DISAPPEAR”, … WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION… SO THAT WE “END UP WITH” CONCEPTUALIZATIONS that are ONE-SIDEDLY MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING WITHOUT ANY MENTION OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING; e.g. WE “END UP WITH” “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” WITHOUT ANY MENTION OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING.

 

In REALITY, we may WAIT TWO WEEKS for a LOW TIDE to fetch oysters from Nanoose Bay, which is captured in FLOW BASED (FLOW CAPABLE) LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEMES in terms such as “THE MAJOR RECEDING OF THE WATER LEVEL IN NANOOSE BAY INVITED/INDUCED OUR OYSTER COLLECTING EXCURSION”.   Here, I have put the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE IN FIRST PRIORITY SINCE IT IS THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that inductively stimulates and brings on the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING.    WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING HAS DEVELOPED THE HABIT OF “DROPPING OUT MENTION” OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING and “SPEAKING AS IF” the “MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING” IS “ALL SHE WROTE”; i.e. “WE COLLECTED OYSTERS FROM NANOOSE BAY”.

 

THIS DROP OUT OF THE FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLNG AND ASSOCIATED “PRETENDING THAT THE MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING FULLY TELLS THE STORY” IS CHARACTERISTIC OF WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION.  In WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE, the MALE that shatters the skull of another person, with a PUNCH TO THE HEAD, may DO MORE DAMAGE than is due to the PUNCH’; i.e. the SKULL that is thin and fragile needs little force to crumble and cave in, in which case it is the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that is the GREATER INFLUENCE ON WHAT TRANSPIRES AND THIS IS ALWAYS THE CASE.  However, it is WESTERN CULTURE HABIT give PRIMARY CREDIT FOR AUTHORING ACTION to MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING.  The FARMER’S PLOUGHING, PLANTING and FERTILIZING may be SPOKEN OF AS BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HARVESTING OF A BUMPER CROP, … since those are all the OBVIOUS LOCAL and EXPLICIT ACTIONS seen as CAUSAL AGENCIES, but the PRIMARY DYNAMIC of CROP GROWTH is FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING of the right amount of SUNSHINE (too much will ruin things), the right amount of rainfall (too much will lead to flooding and too little will cause drought) and while fair winds will oxygenate the growing, HURRICANES and TORNADOES will tear out and destroy the ‘crops’).  WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING orients to the MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING as in FARMER JONES’ PLOUGHING, PLANTING, FERTILIZING and WATERING CONTRIBUTED TO THE GROWTH OF A BUMPER CROP OF WHEAT.  This is TRUE but it is an example of Goedel’s Theorem of the INCOMPLETENESS OF ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS because those PROPOSITIONS are only ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING which are limited to the LOCAL and EXPLICIT and they cannot speak for the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING which is NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT.

 

This example shows, if one wants to explore it further, why indigenous aboriginal JUSTICE is RESTORATIVE (it is based on belief in the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT sourcing of actions and development, consistent with MODERN PHYSICS) while WESTERN CULTURE JUSTICE is PUNISHMENT or REWARDS PASED (i.e. based on belief in LOCAL and EXPLICIT sourcing of actions and development, stemming from APPEARANCES [schaumkommen).  For example, the TOWN may APPEAR to be GROWING but THAT IS NOT THE REALITY, THE REALITY IS THAT THE GROWTH OF THE TOWN COMES WITH THE SHRINKING OF THE WILDERNESS AND THERE IS ONLY ONE REALITY GOING ON HERE WHICH IS THE TRANSFORMING OF THE LANDSCAPE.

 

The MISTAKE of CLAIMING THAT THE TOWN IS GROWING is the same mistake as VYGOTSKY catches PIAGET making; i.e. the MISTAKE of REDUCING the ANDROGYNOUS WAVE STRUCTURE OF REALITY TO ONE-SIDED MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING by DROPPING OUT the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING which is achieved by LIFTING OUT THE ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM (in our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME) and SUBSTITUTING ABSOLUTE EMPTY AND INFINITE SPACE which GETS RID OF, AT THE SAME TIME, the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING CONJUGATE since EMPTY SPACE CANNOT SUPPORT IT.

 

WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS SUCH AS PIAGET CHRONICALLY FALL INTO THE HABIT OF USING LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO GET RID OF THE WAVE STRUCTURE OF REALITY BY DOING AS PIAGET DOES, USING LANGUAGE TO TREAT THE MALE AND FEMALE CONJUGATES AS TWO SEPARATE THINGS AND TOSSING OUT THE FEMALE CONJUGATE.   IN REALITY, CONJUGATES DO NOT SPLIT INTO TWO SEPARATE PARTS because as Vygotsky put it;

 

“Though fundamentally different in nature, the development of scientific [local and explicit] and spontaneous  [nonlocal and implicit] concepts represents two sides of the same concept formation” –Vygotsky      implying a WAVE-BASED STRUCTURE.

LET’S FACE IT, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS CANNOT MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOW’S EAR; i.e. WE CANNOT CONCOCT LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM CONCEPTUALIZATIONS FROM SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC OF THE EXCLUDED MEDIUM (empty space medium) CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME.  WESTERN CULTURE HAS GIVEN THE FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING TO TOO-SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC.  THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF COMMITTED THOUGHT BASED ON BINARY LOGIC THAT CAN LEAD TO UNDERSTANDING THAT INVOLVES LESS SIMPLE NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDUM. 

 

TO STATE THIS IN AN ALTERNATIVE MANNER, OUR WESTERN CULTURE BEING BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME IS FUNDAMENTALLY INCAPABLE OF CONVEYING NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM.   THERE CAN BE NO FOUNDATIONAL DEPENDENCY ON THE TOO SIMPLE ABSTRACTION OF “BEING” IN OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS IF WE HOPE TO DEVELOP CONCEPTUALIZATIONS OF FLOW-BASED REALITY THAT ARE PURELY RELATIONAL (NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT) AND HAVE NO DEPENDENCY ON “LOCAL, EXPLICIT MATERIAL BEING BASED ENTITIES” (otherwise known as SCHAUMKOMMEN/APPEARANCE).

Something to consider: THE WESTERN CULTURE REALITY SHELL-GAME aka the case of the DEA ABSCONDITA, the GODDESS IN HIDING (who we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS are OBSCURING, by our SUBSTITUTING OF A NOTIONAL EMPTY SPACE where, in REALITY, there is an ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM).

IT IS IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT WE ALL SHARE INCLUSION IN THE ALL-INCLUDING TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM wherein EVERYTHING is INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT as is the nature of CONDENSATIONS in the FLUID ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.   This means that the only operative dynamic is TRANSFORMATION and THERE IS A DOUBLE ERROR OF NAMING AND GRAMMAR IN SAYING THAT “IRAN DOES THIS” or “THE U.S. DOES THAT”.  Both of those PROPOSITIONS are ERRONEOUS (constituted by DOUBLE ERRORS of NAMING and GRAMMAR) as Nietzsche has pointed out.  THe DOUBLE ERROR is a DEVICE for injecting the FALSE notion of LOCAL AUTHORING of actions and development.  

As Newton discovered in the course of his efforts to capture dynamics in the form of LINGUISTIC CONCEPTS, while motion of bodies appeared to involve mutual influence (Kepler’s “HARMONIES OF THE WORLD”), using mathematics to capture this was challenging and in Newton’s words; “An exact solution for three bodies, exceeds, if I am not mistaken, the force of any human mind” – Isaac Newton.   This THREE+ BODY PROBLEM derives from the LIMITING OF OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING with the (FALSE) BINARY LOGIC based assumption that the world consists of EITHER matter OR empty space.  The problem DISAPPEARS when it is understood that INSTEAD of MATERIAL OBJECTS IN EMPTY SPACE, there are CONDENSATIONS in an all-including ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM that is continually transforming, as is the case in both Modern physics and in indigenous aboriginal flow-based linguistic conceptualization.

However, the use of NAMING is the common WESTERN CULTURE PRACTICE imputes “BEING” to that which is NAMED, giving rise to LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS featuring FRAGMENTED, MECHANISTIC PSEUDO-REALITIES that are OBSCURANTIST in that the MAKE NO MENTION of the FEMALE ACCOMMODATING/ENABLING that is characteristic of the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.  The WESTERN CULTURE REDUCTIONIST LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS based on one-sided MALE ASSERTING/ACTUALIZING of MATERIAL ENTITIES as if moving about and interacting within an ABSOLUTE EMPTY and INFINITE SPACE.  This WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING based on notional MATERIAL BEING based OBJECTS that move about and interact in a notional ABSOLUTE EMPTY and INFINITE SPACE has become the “OPERATIVE REALITY’ in WESTERN CULTURE SOCIAL COLLECTIVES.

As Bohm, Alan Watts and others have recognized, there is a need for FLOW-BASED LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING such as used in indigenous aborignal cultures which supports the situation wherein EVERYTHING IS IN CONTINUING INTERCONNECTED and INTERDEPENDENT FLUX, exposing as “APPEARANCE” (Schaumkommen) all PERSISTING “THING-IN-ITSELFNESS” (i.e. PERSISTING “BEING”). ONLY BY “LETTING GO” OF THE MISTAKEN VIEWING BASED ON MATERIAL”BEING” (i.e. the mistaken viewing in terms of mechanisitic interactions of persisting BEING based entities) IS IT POSSIBLE OPEN UP OUR FIELD OF VIEW to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) SENSE-EXPERIENCE AFFIRMED REALITY.

The BEING-based FORMS that we WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS SEE and SPEAK OF are only APPEARANCE and the REALITY affirmable by our SENSE-EXPERIENCE is that EVERYTHING IS IN CONTINUING FLUX (i.e. there are NO MATERIAL BEINGS).  Note that when we see a TWISTER (tornado) and speak of “IT” as moving across the countryside and DESTROYING everything in its path, we are IMPUTING LOCAL, EXPLICIT “BEING” and also “LOCAL AUTHORING POWER” (the DOUBLE ERROR pointed out by Nietzsche) instead of acknowledging that what is occurring is TRANSFORMATION which manifests as “FORMINGS IN THE ALL-INCLUDING FLOWING” which, while these “FORMINGS” may APPEAR to be LOCAL and EXPLICIT, they are in PHYSICAL REALITY, NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) in their basic nature and only LOCAL and EXPLICIT in “APPEARANCE”.   This MISTAKE  (confusing NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT reality for LOCAL and EXPLICIT pseudo-reality comes with the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING (establishing BEING) and GRAMMAR (establishing LOCAL AUTHORING POWERS BELONGING TO THE BEING).  This DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR “GETS RID OF THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF WAVE-FIELD based NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT SOURCING OF ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENT” and SUBSTITUTES IN ITS PLACE, (notional) LOCAL and EXPLICIT SOURCING of ACTIONS and DEVELOPMENTS.   Instead of CONDENSATIONS which are LOCAL and EXPLICIT being acknowledged as SECONDARY to the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) TRANSFORMATION, WESTERN CULTURE IS PROMOTING the LOCAL and EXPLICIT to PRIMARY REALITY STATUS … IN CONFLICT WITH MODERN PHYSICS and in CONFLICT WITH the understandings of indigenous aboriginals, Taoists/Buddhists and Advaita Vedanta adherents.

IN OTHER WORDS, WE WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS ARE BUILDING INTO OUR LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS a PROBLEM that starts with the use of NAMING-INSTANTIATED BEING whereby we give a FOUNDATIONAL ROLE to BEING based OBJECTS in our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME. This is why David Bohm and Alan Watts and others have pointed to the need for us WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS to shift to LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING that is FLOW-BASED rather than BEING based., thus ATTRIBUTING DYNAMICS , CORRECTLY, to NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (RELATIONAL) SOURCING and at the same time EXPOSING the LOCAL and EXPLICIT CONCEPTUALIZATIONS as “APPEARANCE” (Scharoedinger’s “Schaumkommen”).

VERB-BASED LANGUAGE gives us the capability of using FLUID CONCEPTUALIZING such as “THERE IS TOWNING IN THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE” where EVERYTHING IS IN NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (relational) FLUX and there is NO DEPENDENCY ON BEING, as contrasts with NAME-BASED LANGUAGE where we speak in such terms as “THE TOWN IS GROWING, DEVELOPING and PRODUCING goods” where THE ACTION IS CONVEYED AS LOCAL AND EXPLICIT and the NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT is SIMPLY “DROPPED OUT” suggestive of inclusion wihtin an ABSOLUTE, EMPTY, INFINITE SPACE.

The PROBLEM with NAMING is that it implies “BEING”.  “BEING” is unreal ABSTRACTION that does not exist in the TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM aka the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM aka the WAVE-FIELD wherein EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX within which there are CONDENSATIONS.  The RELATIONSHIP of the CONDENSATIONS and the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM is given by BOTH/AND LOGIC OF THE INCLUDING MEDIUM wherein the CONDENSATION is an INCLUDED FEATURE WITHIN THE FLUID PLENUM and NOT SOMETHING SEPARATE FROM THE PLENUM as in EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM.

So, the CONDENSATIONS are NOT IN A SIMPLE BINARY EITHER/OR LOGIC of the EXCLUDED MEDIUM RELATION with the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.   The CONDENSATIONS are instead in a NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM relation with the ENERGY-CHARGED PLENUM.   This is why David Bohm and Alan Watts (Zen scholar) and others have insisted that our LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING of REALITY must be FLOW-BASED (RELATIONAL) and WITHOUT DEPENDENCY ON “BEING”, consistent with Heraclitus’ observation that  EVERYTHING IS IN FLUX.

IMPORTANT!!!   ….. THE PHYSICAL REALITY IS THAT EVERYTHING IS RELATED (ALL CONDENSATIONS ARE INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT) and included within an all-including TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.   IT IS ONLY INTELLECTUAL ABSTRACTION TO  “PRETEND” THAT NATIONS ARE “INDEPENDENT”.  SUCH ABSTRACTION IS PUT IN PLACE PURELY AND SOLELY BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT AMONG THOSE SEEING ADVANTAGES TO “DECLARING INDEPENDENCE”, and FOLLOWING UP BY PRETENDING THAT THE “IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDARIES” THAT ARE PURPORTEDLY DEFINING THAT “INDEPENDENCE”  HAVE SOME KIND OF PHYSICAL REALITY (rather than being nothing more that abstract signals to the TWO-LEGGED INTELLECTUALS which do not “REGISTER” in the SENSORY APPARATUS of the FOUR-LEGGEDS and WINGED ONES.    “IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDARIES DO NOT ESTABLISH THE INDEPENDENCE OF A NATION”.  The four-leggeds, and winged and slithering ones, because they GROUND their understanding in their SENSE-EXPERIENCE, AFFIRM that THERE ARE NO SUCH BOUNDARIES IN SENSE-EXPERIENCE REALITY.   For example, “The PASHTUN people that straddle Afghanistan and Pakistan are divided along family, clan and tribal lines, but constitute an ETHNIC-BASED NATION in the classic sense of the terms which for them, naturally over-rides the purely POLITICAL SPLITTING INTO TWO SEPARATE “INDEPENDENT STATES”

The U.S. may say that it is AT WAR WITH AFGHANISTAN and, at the same time, ALLIED with PAKISTAN but PASHTUN leaders and PASHTUN tribesmen  may not give a damn about the commitments of the POLITICAL LEADERS of AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN and their basing the legitimacy of the very BEING of their PURPORTED INDEPENDENT NATIONS  (and thus their OWN LEADERSHIP STATUS) on the DOUBLE ERROR of NAMING and GRAMMAR.  

In a similar situation, in the U.S. conflict with IRAN, IRAN is under NO OBLIGATION, in the U.S. conflict with IRAN, to treat SELF-PROCLAIMED INDEPENDENT NATIONS in the Middle East who are friendly to the U.S. as deserving to be left out of the conflict, particularly when they are supplying the U.S. with land for military bases.  The INDEPENDENCE of GULF STATES that is imaginary boundary line based is A GAME THAT IS BEING PLAYED BY SUPPORTERS OF THAT GAME.

Once one nation is alienated by the others, as in the case of IRAN, there is no merit in that nation’s continuing in ‘going along with playing the game’ of pretending that states are independent (how can a state be ‘independent’ when they make land available for military bases for WORLD POWERS such as Russia or the U.S.?’.

Trump appears to have a very simplistic view of the U.S. as an “INDEPENDENT NATION” when there are many ‘dual citizens’ and divided families with members in the U.S. and CANADA, or in the U.S. and IRAN, in which case while TRUMP thinks of the U.S. as a “SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ENTITY” in a CONFLICT WITH “ANOTHER SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT ENTITY CALLED IRAN”, THIS IS NOT THE REALITY.   The REALITY is that EVERYTHING is interconnected and interdependent and what is happening is TRANSFORMATION on a GLOBAL SCALE (which includes the dropping out [non-participation] of the European nations from what they see as TRUMP’S WAR with IRAN).  TRANSFORMATION is the general case in our social interactions regardless of imaginary line boundaries and TRANSFORMATION is GLOBAL and ONGOING and the TALK that is in terms of WHAT NATION “A” DOES and how NATION “B” reacts is BOGUS because continuing TRANSFORMATION is the BASE-CASE REALITY.  As with the fact that a man can’t step into the same river twice because he is not the same man and the river is not the same river, … it equally holds that the U.S. cannot hammer IRAN TWICE because it is no longer the same IRAN nor is it the same U.S.  The IMPLICATION here is that the basic nature of the WORLD DYNAMIC is that EVERYTHING IS IN TRANSFORMATIVE FLUX and it is only our WESTERN CULTURE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZING SCHEME THAT IS CHOPPING UP REALITY INTO A BUCH OF NOTIONAL INDEPENDENT PIECES called NATIONS.   YES, OF COURSE ANY GROUP CAN PUT UP FENCES ON IMAGINARY LINE BOUNDARIES THAT ARE CLAIMED TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN INDEPENDENT NATIONS but the rivers and winds and birds, locusts and wildlife will not be participants in such intellectual sophistry but will instead continue to accept their NATURAL INCLUSION IN THE TRANSFORMING RELATIONAL CONTINUUM.

OBSERVATION:

Both MODERN PHYSICS and INDIGENOUS ABORIGINAL CULTURE  SUPPORT UNDERSTANDING based on NONBINARY BOTH/AND LOGIC of the INCLUDING MEDIUM where CONTENT and CONTAINER ARE ONE AS WITH WHORLINGS IN FLOWING.   JUSTICE must be RESTORATIVE since it is the TENSIONS in the CONTAINING WEB  (SOCIAL COLLECTIVE) that shape the dynamics of the CONTAINED STRANDS.  That is; NONLOCAL and IMPLICIT (RELATIONAL) DYNAMICS are PRIMARY while LOCAL and EXPLICIT DYNAMICS are only APPEARANCE.

 

What is happening is that the GLOBAL MATRIX of relations is undergoing TRANSFORMATION.  That is the continuing base-case.  The U.S. is a PARTICIPANT WITHIN but NOT IN CONTROL OF TRANSFORMATION which is GLOBAL.  NO ONE IS IN CONTROL, but we all share inclusion in this RELATIONAL TRANSFORMATION.  We WESTERN CULTURE ADHERENTS like to CLAIM AUTHORSHIP and say that “WE DID THIS OR WE DID THAT” and whether that is TRUE or NOT IS NOT THE FULL STORY (Recall Goedel’s Theorem of the INCOMPLETENESS of all finite LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS).   WHETHER OR NOT THE U.S. CAN HAMMER THE HELL OUT OF IRAN IS ONE OF THOSE INCOMPLETE PROPOSITIONS SINCE IT DOES NOT SPEAK TO HOW THIS IMPACTS TRANSFORMATION which is THE OVERALL GLOBAL DYNAMIC (E.G. EUROPEAN NATIONS THAT ARE TRADITIONAL ALLIES OF THE U.S. MAY NOT WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH AN AGGRESSIVE U.S. THAT IS ATTACKING IRAN.  IN THIS CASE, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “THE U.S. ATTACKING IRAN” (i.e. that is an incomplete proposition because the European Nations are, as a result, DISTANCING THEMSELVES FROM THE U.S. and so what is REALLY GOING ON IS TRANSFORMATION ON AN OVERALL GLOBAL BASIS and NOT  SIMPLY “THE U.S. ATTACK ON IRAN”.  “THE U.S. ATTACK ON IRAN” is an example of the Goedel’s Theorem INCOMPLETENESS OF ALL FINITE LOGICAL PROPOSITIONS since what is really transpiring is TRANSFORMATION that is GLOBAL in extent due to GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS and INTERDEPENDENCE.
